The Portra 400
My first three (3) rolls were all Kodak Ultramax 400. Now, I'm trying out the Kodak Portra 400, the "World's finest grain at 400 speed"... This film costs PhP 1,100, PhP 400 more than the Ultramax 400! I hope this lives up to the hype.

i can’t wait for all this to be over and i can develop the 35mm photos i’ve been taking while stuck in my home on my 1972 Yashica Electro 35 GS.
It’s been a really wonderful exercise to try and find new and interesting spots around the house, and looking at your every-day mundane spaces and re-imagining them through an abstract lens of a camera.

Vintage Camera Photo Walk (7/8): Down By the River (Wedel, December 2019 with Yashica Electro 35 GS and Kodak Ultramax 400 film) - - Sea Gull, so lonely. OK. Just a normal sea gull. Nothing special here, you might argue. Well, the challenge was to get as closely as possible to the bird, given that the Yashica has a 45mm fixed lens... . . . . . #vintagephotography #vintagephoto #analogphotography #analoguephotography #analogcamera #yashicaelectro35 (hier: Wedel Hafen. ...) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7EHfFZooAN/?igshid=xh2g8zspjt3d

2021: A look back
A few more days before 2021 officially ends and truthfully I cannot contain myself in sharing remarkable moments I have experienced this year. Let me take you back to some of the things I can still remember. This year, I was able to save enough money to have our kitchen and living room renovated, we've been planning this for years and I still can't believe it.
Before the pandemic happens I was planning to buy myself a film camera and try new things, and although uncertainties happen every day that didn't stop me from doing things I love. I bought several film cameras this year from 110mm film to 35mm film and I'm still learning how to take pictures properly but overall I love the process of it. From capturing that moment to the agony of waiting for it to be processed and developed. Trying out film rolls has been my favorite pastime this year, hopefully, I can still continue it next year despite the increase in rolls prices.
Here's my Yashica Electro 35 GS, my first-ever range finder.

Back in March, I bought my first ever penny board and bicycle, some of the things that I won't regret purchasing this year. I'm not into extreme sports and I don't know a lot of tricks, in fact, I wasn't able to use my penny and bicycle as much as I thought about it due to a lot of excuses. However, I can't forget the feeling whenever I ride my penny board and bicycle when the wind touches my face while cruising, that freeing feeling of flying, and all I can think about is how grateful I am to be alive at the moment.

Finally, after careful consideration, I decided to visit the National Museum this year, I've been halting this plan for quite some time now so it took me the strong willpower to really go out there and make it happen and I can say for sure that aside from my rare photo walks this year visiting the museum alone is actually one of my favorite little triumphs.

There's a lot of remarkable moments that happened in my life this year, some I can still remember, some I have forgotten.
However, in all that I have experienced this year my greatest joy is growing mature with the Lord, trusting Him fully, and completely surrendering everything. My walk of faith has always been a rocky road but this year I have understood the meaning of letting God be God. What a year, but what a great GOD I have. All the highest praises and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Film [Photography] Fulfilment
This would have been a great shot, but I miscalculated the focus...
Film photography is crazy! Every bad shot you’ve taken makes you feel you’ve wasted money. On the other hand, every great shot you’ve captured is so fulfilling. Ten times more fulfilling than getting the same shot using digital cameras... I love film photography!
