TRIBUTE TO HANDPLATES

Handplates comic finally ended and I can't believe it.

I started to read it (and translate it) on my last year of college and now it has been 7 years?? Damn...

7 years of reading this lil' AU, watching this guys suffering, hating Gaster as well as feeling sorry for him, seeing all their growing, their mistakes, the soft moments between the brothers and the little soft moments with Gaster. I enjoyed all that and enjoyed the silly extra comics and the AUs from this Au xd

I also enjoyed to translate this comics into spanish all this 7 years, it not only helped me with my english, it also let me meet some wonderful people and all the gratitude from those who don't know english or just want to read on their own language is amazing.

However, if we have to feel gratitude for someone, that's @zarla-s

Thank you so much for making this wonderful comic!! for don't give up with it and share your art, your thoughts, your theories about the game, your shipps, even your silly puns xD I know is not easy to make something like this so huge respect for that.

Me and my best friend (@thatone-ranboofan996) absolutely adore the Handplates comic by @zarla-s. It was a big part of both our childhoods so I decided to try drawing us in their style and how we'd look in the story!

The plot behind why there would be humans being tested instead of just taking their souls to cross the barrier is mainly based around gasters insecurities. Two humans go on a hike and fall down Mount Ebott. They travel through the ruins and end up staying with toriel for a while because she's awesome and sweet. They later leave but as soon as they do they're caught on alphys' cameras and she immediately tells gaster.

In this side timeliness we imagined that gaster was worried that the two souls wouldn't be enough and since he had already created paps and sans, gaster thought that if he could study the human souls then he could figure out how to better them and combine a human and a monster soul to make it a more powerful singular soul. Of course alphys is confused on where the humans went but gaster wipes the cameras and lightly gaslights her. I am also 93% sure he'd love the opportunity to get revenge on the humans

I am also unsure how Zarla feels about aus of her au but if she doesn't like them I will take this post down

I drew some more humanplates stuff! This time including Gaster!

A few things I'd like to note:

• In this version, Gaster amputated two of his fingers to create Sans and Papyrus, so now he's got robot fingers.

•Sans' soul trait is Patience and Papyrus' is Bravery. my personal hc for these soul traits is that humans with patient souls can't move in battle and brave souls have to move. When Sans and Papyrus hold hands, they sort of cancel each other out, since they're opposites.

• Sans is visibly blind in his right eye with a discoloured pupil.

• As seen with Chara and Kris in Undertale and Deltarune, humans can in fact glow their eyes, if only the colour of their souls. So yay, the skeletons can still glow!

• Gaster's soul trait is justice (kind of ironic considering he says there's no justice, only strength) and instead of his badass skeleton attacks and blue magic, he can shoot bullets just like the yellow soul.

• I retconned the tattoo thing from my previous post, now they're just scars that Gaster carved into their hands.

HE'S FINALLY DONE AHHHHHHHH

I have been working in this bad boy for the past few hours and I finally finished him!! He's from a Vargas AU where Nny is Edgar's parasite. This is his "toy", a rag doll version of the killer.

Hope you guys like him! He's my first hand-crafted doll, so he's a little wonky, but I love him nonetheless.

I was reminded of the time Nny accompanied Edgar to the mall in search of a trench coat. They met Squee there. Nny got distracted and killed a guy who tried to sneak the young boy away. He never did get that coat.
