my favorite twst characters are silver and malleus they're so sillies i wanna hide them in my pocket 🥺❤
and woooow you're already in chapter 5?? you're so fast and that means you'll catch up in chapter 7 🤩 also chapter 7 just updated in twst jp yesterday and i'm losing my marbles over it akdkkskcksks i'm so excited to hear your thoughts/theories when you catch up ❗❗❗
so idia huh hmmm i have a feeling you'll like him even more when you read chapter 6 😈
my favorite twst events are:
vargas camp (some ppl think this event is so boring but for me, it's just refreshing esp the bgm music and just some silly boys going to camping 😁 what could go wrong? 😁)
endless halloween (tho you must watch the first halloween event which is scary monsters in order to understand it ANYWAY i love the vibes here and the bgm music AGAIN lol and bc silver is here my pookiebear)
ghost marriage (all i can say is poor idia 😬)
fairy gala if (it's like the alternate universe of the first fairy gala event, i love this event bc ortho gets to shine here 🥺❤ and some ppl theorize that this event is after chapter 6 buuut we never know bc all the event stories aren't canon huhuhu 😪)
and lastlyyyyy
glorious masquerade event (i love this event bc the little interactions between malleus and yuu/the player 🥰 also we get another twisted version of a disney character! it also has foreshadowing about malleus in chapter 7)
- zella
ALSO if you want to learn/read more about the characters or just see their silliness, you can read their personal stories on miraheze site. it's complete and you can even read the voice lines.
- zella
first of all -- i did NOT know you could send asks this long in tumblr now lskdjfasij HAHA back in mY DAY *cracks back, wheezes* i think we had a character limit but damn tumblr rly said "go off, be free" huh.
but yes! im generally a pretty quick reader, and i watch most videos on 2x speed (i listen to audiobooks on 2x speed too and my mom thinks i'm unhinged for it). so since it's all subbed, i'm just breezing through it; if i weren't so attached to listening to the voiced lines, i'd just read the translations on miraheze u__u
and speaking of miraheze, yES i've been LOOKING (disrepectfully, mind you).
I CANNOT WAIT FOR CHAPER 6. i am shoved so far up idia's ass already and it's not even his chapter yet fuCK.
i'm doing the camp vargas event rn cause im in the eng server and it's cute u__u i do like the "boiz just doin boi tingz" vibe it's giving off. pitching tents n shit hahah.
i shall add endless halloween to my list! i legit didn't figure out that events had like separate stories until the last day of the fairy gala event (i am big dumb im sorry) so i only got to play through the first few chapters in game, but i'll watch the rest of it; and i'm curious about the fairy gala, if ver too.
malleus is growing on me. we love a good lonely boi arc. i love that he's like "u don't know me? that's so hot" vibes hes giving off hAHAHAHA. that's so Ultra Celeb of you, malleus. i see you, i SEE you. silver, i don't know well enough yet but my normal Type is White Haired Anime Boy, so i mean -- boxes have been checked already, ukno?
i'm quickly spiraling way too far into this universe and it's.... worrying, to say the least.

I’m doing a group of things, and one of them is making a “doucheboard”! Where I put all the beautiful bastards I love and the first one I drew was Scriabin from @zarla-s on Tumblr!
He is the best and the worst and I Love him! And I made him wear a flamboyant clothe, cuz of course :v (it is all black, maybe I’ll color it…)
It took a while for me to get him in the stories, but I liked him from the start - w- now I just know he is a talkative bastard full of problems himself.
I’m lissening to a Vargas audiobook on YouTube, kinda re-reading the thing and Oh how good it is to… To see the chaos from the beginning! Hdjdbdjbd 🖤

end of year reading tag
Thank you @quatregats for the tag, hope you don't mind I'm doing it on this blog :)
Did you reach your reading goal for the year (if you had one)? Yes! Well, sort of. My goal of reading 50 books in Spanish didn't have a time limit on it, but I did finish it before the end of the year.
What are your top 3 books you read this year? Very hard to choose, I read a lot of cool stuff this year. El amor en los tiempos del cólera has to take number one, since it replaced Cien años de soledad as my favorite book. Las malas by Camila Sosa Villada and Volver la vista atrás by Juan Gabriel Vázquez follow close behind!
What’s a book that you didn’t expect to enjoy quite so much going in? Cádaver exquisito by Agustina Bazterrica. I was a little scared going in based on how fucked up everyone told me it was going to be, but I was engrossed.
Were there any books that didn’t live up to your expectations? Probably Aura by Carlos Fuentes, just because I'm a big fan of his work and this wasn't my favorite of his. I might revisit this one in 2022, it's short enough.
Did you DNF any books? So many. I hope no one ever asks me to read Vargas Llosa again. Also glad I got out of that Pérez-Reverte book lolll
Did you read any books outside your usual preferred genre(s)? I read some thrillers and more romantic stuff -- before this year I was really stuck with literary fiction but I tried very hard to read contemporary lit and I think it went really well!
What was your predominant format this year? Ebooks! I found a good way to get new releases for free and just read on my phone when everyone else is on TikTok (omg not like the other girls.......... #original). I also started to listen to audiobooks while I worked. Very helpful for reading new stuff since getting copies in Spanish is a bit difficult where I live, not to mention costly.
What’s the longest book you read this year? Nuestra parte de noche by Mariana Enríquez! I think it's up about 660 pages? I want to say it was 667 just to be funny given the demonic themes of the book? But I can't confirm right this second.
What are your top 3 anticipated 2022 releases? I also don't follow new releases with anticipation, I usually find out afterwards and then read.
What books from your TBR did you not get to this year, but are excited to read in 2022? ENTRE MARX Y UNA MUJER DESNUDA ENTRE MARX Y UNA MUJER DESNUDA ENTRE MARX Y UNA MUJER DESNUDA (can you tell I'm excited? after i finish my current reads I'm giving it a shot)
I think a lot of my mutuals have already been tagged, so if you'd like to give it a shot, go for it and say I tagged you!! Also, if anyone has any suggestions based on my reads please send them my way!

Recent(ish) Reads⁣
We Are Never Meeting in Real Life by Samantha Irby (2017)⁣
Read via audiobook and loved it. More funny, heartwarming and weird essays to help lift the mood. ⁣
Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen by Jose Antonio Vargas (2018)⁣
Another read via audio. I really appreciated Vargas' story and his honesty. An extremely valuable read that gave me insight into what being undocumented might look for some in the US. Vargas recognises his privileges in the ways he has been able to 'pass' as a citizen im ways that others who are also undocumented may not be able to. This is a personal story of displacement in the country one calls home and the lack of understanding among American citizens (and beyond) about what being undocumented looks like.⁣

Same Book
"Did you get to the part about the alligators? Crazy right?" I haven't drawn these two together in over a year... crazy right? I looked back on my stuff and wondered what I've been doing instead. Turns out I was watching a lot of anime and goofing off... sounds about right. So something I realized when researching what life is like for blind people - is that braille books are gigantic! A lot of the images of people reading braille are of them on the floor or at a table with the book because it is so friggin huge. Which makes sense - braille needs a lot of space, nearly twice as much as 'regular' books. Not only that but braille is way more expensive than 'regular' books. Which to me is a shit thing to do to blind people. Like okay you're blind and if you wanna read this story you have to pay nearly twice as much just to own the book. Which might explain why audiobooks are a booming business. As it turns out braille is one of the least popular methods for blind people to read. A lot of them actually don't know braille - kind of like how a lot of deaf people don't know sign language. Go fig. You learn something new everyday. But yes, a lot of blind people simply listen to their books or save up for a device to wear on their finger that reads out loud for them. Here I just wanted to show more of this couple. They're reading the same book but Al's is considerable bigger. And Sioux is actually really impressed that he can read with his fingers. I liked this little blimpse of her room - because she knows the degree of his blindness she puts brightly colored things around the darker parts of her room so he can see there's something there. She also tends to wear bright color around him so he can tell where she is. Al doesn't have the heart to tell her it's all unnecessary because of his lycan abilities he doesn't really need his sight in human form anyway. This another attempt to blend 3D background elements into my stuff. How'd I do??? What are they reading??? Well from the looks of the back cover of Sioux's book it seems they are reading this!!  Follow me on twitter! Watch their character spotlights here! Sioux Murai and Alejandro Vargas belong to me

What are your favourite books?
Hard to chose ! Let’s try anyway :
Au bonheur des Ogres (The Scapegoat)  by Daniel Pennac : “Benjamin Malaussene is a professional scapegoat. He works for a large Parisian department store, and every time an irate customer appears, Malaussene has to be there to take the blame. But one day, when the first or a series of bombs explodes in the toy department, he decides to resist the call of duty. Once again, Malaussene becomes the prime suspect. Meanwhile, and to his astonishment, the attacks only increase the desire of the shoppers to spend their hard-earned francs in the temple of consumerism.” This is one of my favourite since 8th grade, and every time I re-read it, I love it. There’s been a film a few years ago that, while it’s been made to be watchable by children (the initial story is NOT for children, contains sex, and deals with child molestation during the Occupation... still it’s a very funny book trust me), is actually pretty cute and I can’t help but like it (okay.... Raphaël Personnaz  might be part of the reasons even if he has a horrendous haircut).
Misery by Stephen King : I love Stephen King even if the more I read him the more I see his flaws... I just had to pick the first one I saw in my bookshelves. I just like his atmospheres.
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami : what I like in this book is the atmosphere, too. I don’t know why, everything feels dreamy, and soft, even the hard moments. You never know if what happens is real or not. I need to read more Murakami.
L’Homme aux Cercles Bleus (The Chalk Circle Man) by Fred Vargas: “When strange blue chalk circles start appearing overnight on the pavements of Paris, the press take up the story with amusement and psychiatrists trot out their theories. Jean-Baptiste Adamsberg, a policeman, is alone in thinking that this is not a game and far from amusing.”This is the first book I read by her, and it caught me. I LOVE her characters - I think they have in common with Pennac’s that they kind of seem “larger than life” in a way. I love all, in all the books. All of them. Strangely enough I think my most favourites (the historians ! especially Mark) aren’t in this one. Still I’m in love with Danglard and he’s there, and you’ll be all surprised (no) that I have a soft spot for Charles who appears only in this one.
I’ll stop there. Of course I could cite Harry Potter that I re-read (often in audiobook forme while drawing) every fricking year but this isn’t a good thing is it. Lol. Thank you very much for asking !!

Why is head-hopping looked down on by writers? To me it always seemed like a stylistic preference, like any other POV choice, but then I learned it's actually considered faulty and a sign of bad writing. Sorry if this is a weird thing to ask, but given your other solid writing advice, I thought you might have some insight on this.
Hey anon! I don’t mind this question at all, I love giving writing advice.Honestly though? I’ve never heard of it being looked down on before, so I couldn’t tell you why. I’m curious where you heard that it’s actually considered faulty and a sign of bad writing, because I disagree. As long as specific qualities are met, switching point of views can be a very useful literary tool. Different point of views can add different information to a scene in a variety of ways. Different characters will notice different things, which can be very useful depending on your situation. Even if you explaining the same event from different points of view, characters will react or notice things differently. Shiro might look at a situation in an ‘overall mission goal’ frame of mind, for example, while Pidge will notice more technical things and Lance will have more team awareness. A situation that Hunk finds really frightening or anxiety-inducing might mean nothing at all to Keith or Allura. Etc. You can really push your readers’ understanding of the situation by using one voice, and then completely break or subvert that by doing a scene change to a different PoV. I know I’ve written fics where readers have been completely sympathetic with character A, but then I switch to character B’s point of view, and suddenly they see things from a new perspective and re-evaluate the scene. It’s very fun to play with.It can also be useful if your characters are just in different places or times. If the team has split up into two different teams to accomplish two different goals, it can be potentially interesting to bounce back and forth between the two teams and break up the scenes, so you understand what is going on and when these events are happening in relation to each other. The very important key is to make it clear that a PoV switch is happening, with either a scene break or a chapter break. It does look like sloppy writing if you’re writing something from Shiro’s thoughts or perspective in one paragraph, and in the very next you’re suddenly writing Lance’s thoughts. It makes the writing look unfocused and meandering, like the writer can’t really decide what perspective to write from or what kind of voice to use. Remember, writing from any PoV is about more than just writing a characters’ thoughts or actions. Even the narrative, even the things the character would notice or describe, every specific vocabulary word used, needs to be in their voice. If you don’t establish a voice for a scene, or keep switching between multiple characters’ voices in a scene, things get really muddled, neutral, and indistinct. It washes out the narrative and makes it kind of bland, because suddenly it just lacks a distinct personality.More importantly, it can be difficult for a reader to understand who is speaking or thinking in a case like this. And that’s really bad. If I’m reading a fic that started out from Shiro’s PoV but suddenly I’m reading Lance’s thoughts instead, without any scene or chapter break, I get confused. This was Shiro’s PoV—why am I now seeing things from Lance’s perspective? It breaks immersion, because the reader can’t just settle into a character’s voice, they have to stop to figure out the technicalities. You never want to break your reader’s immersion. At best that’s a road-bump in the reading, and at worst it means a back-button and an abandoned fic.But fics with well-broken up POV changes? Those are fun, both to read and to write. Just remember to use context clues to indicate changes—don’t add tags like “~Lance’s POV~” to indicate a PoV swap. You can establish voice in a paragraph or less just by using familiar vocabulary for the character or referencing back to their thoughts in some way. Some samples of where I’ve written PoV swaps, either in the same chapter or throughout multiple chapters:Seven Vargas ~ Alternates between Shiro and various team members each chapter. PoV changes are used to establish the 7-varga countdown and where each character is in that short timeline, as well as the urgency of the situation. The Greatest Challenge ~ Alternates between Shiro and Ryou. While the characters are essentially dealing with the same situation and same scene, they each have different views and opinions on the same situation, and notice different things about the other that the other doesn’t mention. Altar of Storms ~ PoV swap fics can be great for ensemble fics like this too, so you can effectively show each characters’ thoughts while still progressing a story. Again, each character observes or feels different things, which gradually lets you build a much more complete picture of the whole story by the end. Some samples in “official” media that write effective PoV swaps:The Way of Kings ~ Re-reading this for the millionth time, Sanderson tells the story very effectively through 4 different characters’ eyes. Each character gets an entire chapter devoted to them and their PoV before moving on to the next chapter and a different character. Once you know them all, you can even start to pick out points where their stories overlap without any of them realizing it, which is really fun for the reader. Before the Storm ~ This is a WoW book I’m reading at the moment (Josh Keaton narrates the audiobook, I basically had to) but honestly it handles PoV swaps very well. The book has clear PoV changes in chapters to switch between characters from both sides of the conflict, showing the reasoning for each side’s actions. I’m enjoying it. I’ve read lots of other ‘official’ media with good pov swaps but I’m mind blanking on more at the moment. Point is, I think this is mostly down to personal preference for writing? I’m sure some people hate it, but as long as you are clear with your PoV changes, and maintain a character’s voice as long as a PoV is in effect, I don’t think it’s “bad writing.” If you like writing stories with multiple PoV’s then go ahead and do it. I hope this helps, anon!

Tudo o que te contaram sobre preguiça não é verdade, e acredite: Bill Gates tem uma frase sobre o assunto. É a seguinte:

      É preciso buscar plataformas que trabalham com os dois tipos de produtos, pois é nelas que tu escolherá;
