watched it again and the reunion was still rather underwhelming, in the sense that it didn't feel very heartfelt to me. it just seemed forced.

but then again that may be on purpose? it did feel familiar to me in a way, that awkward atmosphere when you reunite with someone and you are just not sure how to act around them anymore, so you try to pick up again how you used to interact but it just doesn't come natural, so you end up overdoing everything and it feels superficial and like you are only playing a role
