You watched Adrian swing and miss as he tried to chat up the woman on the other side of the bar. You couldn’t blame him, of course. If you had been the one working that end of the bar when she walked up you would’ve done the same thing. You also had the nagging suspicion that you would’ve had a little more success—maybe not as much success as you would’ve wanted, but more than Adrian.

It wasn’t for a lack of effort on his part, but he clearly wasn’t who or what she was looking for. With the way she easily filtered back and forth to the bar, to him, you had to think that she wasn’t really there looking to be picked up by anyone. You understood that, respected it, but you wouldn’t go so far as to lie and say that you weren’t a little disappointed about it.

You also wished that it wasn’t so goddamn busy so that you could try and slip out from behind the bar and try to find some excuse to talk to her. It didn’t look like that was in the cards for you—most nights were busy but tonight seemed like there was no end in sight to the line of people coming up and placing orders. And, if Adrian kept trying to hit on everyone he thought was cute rather than filling their drink orders, the line was only going to keep getting longer.

The concept of time was completely lost on you by the time someone showed up to relieve you. You were going to be stuck there until close, but at least an extra body meant that you could step outside for ten minutes to breathe in air that wasn’t heavy with sweat and alcohol. That was as good of a break as any.

You leaned back against the wall behind you, one foot planted against the wall, one on the ground. Shutting your eyes for a few moments, you took in a few deep breaths. You instantly felt a little lighter, a little more clear-headed. You could still hear the music, feel the slight vibration of the bass through the wall, but it wasn’t drowning out all of your other thoughts out here the way that it was inside.

You didn’t hear the footsteps until they were too close for comfort. Your eyes snapped open, heart pounding for a moment as you looked to see who it was that was in the alley with you. Your fear subsided when you saw who it was, although a new brand of panic went through you when you saw the woman from the bar standing in front of you. You’d lost sight of her along the way and you just assumed that she’d left. Apparently not.

It was impossible to do anything besides watch her as she looked you over. You wanted to have something, anything to say, but you came up short. At least inside you could blame your jumbled thoughts on the noise and the chaos. Out here you just had to admit to yourself that it was her.

She didn’t seem to share your jitters. She pulled out a pack of cigarettes, flipping the top open and placing one between her lips before tilting the pack towards you. Grabbing a smoke was on your list of things to do for the brief break that you got out here, so you took one and mirrored her actions. Before you could reach into your pocket for your own lighter, she pulled one of those out too.

You didn’t have it in you to be embarrassed about how closely you were watching her hands, her fingers as she flicked and sparked the lighter. She didn’t even give you the chance to ask for the light before leaning in close so she could bring the flame to the end of your cigarette as well. Any mental clarity you’d gotten from stepping outside the club was gone now as you studied her face, the way she looked through the tendrils of smoke that crept up from her cigarette and between her lips. Too soon your cigarette was lit and she was pulling away from you. Not that she went far.

You knew one of you was going to have to say something first, and you felt for some reason that it should be you. Pulling a drag off your cigarette you took it from between your lips. You let the smoke fall out of you as you finally willed yourself to speak. “I don’t know anything more than Adrian, you know. About the Arellano’s.”

She shrugged, the tiniest bit of a lift to the end of her mouth. “I didn’t ask.”

“I know. I just…” you trailed off. You had the feeling you both knew how the sentence was going to end anyway so you didn’t waste the breath. “Still at your service, though,” you said before you could stop yourself, bringing the cigarette back to your lips like taking the inhale off of that would take away the panic you’d just jolted through yourself.

Her smile grew a little wider as she tapped the ashes off the end of her cigarette. “That’s good to know.”

You had said so little and yet you still felt like you were out of things to say already. Her eyes had hardly drifted from your face at all. It felt like it took actual physical effort to not buckle underneath the weight of her stare. In that moment you couldn’t fathom how Adrian didn’t combust on the spot when she dismissed him and walked away from him.

It happened without you noticing, really. It seemed like suddenly she was grinding out the last of her cigarette beneath her shoe, nudging yours in the process. When had she gotten so close again? She looked up from the ground, eyes settling back on yours again with the same intense focus.

Whether your cigarette fell from your hand accidentally or you purposely let it drop to put it out, you had no idea. Either way, it was out of your hand now and resting on the ground a few inches away from your boot. You let out one breath, the nerves, the unsteadiness of it covered only slightly by the last of the smoke that flowed out from between your lips.

She either saw it in your eyes that you were going to try and come up with something to say, or she noticed the way you sucked in a breath. Regardless, she took pity on you and didn’t put you through the ordeal of it. Before you could fumble your way through it, she closed the rest of the distance. She kissed you, bodies suddenly flush and pinning you back to the wall in the process, one of her legs easily slotted between yours. Even with your eyes closed you felt the light wisp of air as her hand moved past your face so that she could flatten her palm against the wall beside your head, give herself extra leverage. She could cage you in and consume you whole and you’d make no move to stop her.

Her other hand started on your hip before it slowly snaked its way up your torso. Up your stomach and over your chest until it was on the side of your neck, her thumb pressed beneath your chin like she was keeping you from being able to tilt and break away from her. Like you’d ever dream of it. Your hands fell to her waist, fingertips just barely hooking into the waistband of her pants, trying to pull her closer even though there was no room left between you anyway. You couldn’t think clearly about much of anything besides her in that moment, but you knew enough to know that your break was going to be much longer than ten minutes.

Extreme E resultados da última rodada dupla e analise da temporada de 2023 e previa para 2024

Na última rodada dupla do campeonato de 2023 da Extreme E foi eletrizante por as duas primeiras equipes no campeonato estavam com uma diferença de 3 pontos , e as duas equipes começaram o Q1 no sábado com problemas e pontuando 2 e 3 pontos e no sábado marcado por capotagens no Q1 na corrida 2 RJ Andersson capotou o carro da Hummer EV Chip Ganassi  Racing, na  corrida 1 do Q2 foi marcada por duas bandeiras vermelhas a primeira na primeira largada com a capotada da Klara Andersson com o carro da ABT Cupra , na segunda um acidente grave  entre o carro da Veloce Racing com Molly Taylor e o carro da Andretti com Catie Munnings , que ela está bem, más o carro sofreu muitos danos que a equipe não conseguiu preparar o carro para a etapa do domingo.

Domingo a ultima etapa de 2023

Com a Andretti não conseguindo arrumar o arrumar o carro por causa do acidente no sábado a última etapa desse ano teve 9 carros no grid participando já que a ABT Cupra conseguiu arrumar o carro após o acidente no Q2.

Das equipes ainda tinham chances remotas de titulo a Hummer EV Chip Ganassi Racing ,deu a deus até de terminar em 4º por ter não se classficado para a final e a diferança para a X44 Vida Carbon Racing ser de 1 ponto de 105 a 104 pontos  e indo para a redemption race, que foi a despedida da Lia Block da categoria já que em 2024 ela vai correr na F1 Academy pela ART Gran Prix, infelizmente não correndo por ter quebrado o carro da Carl Cox Motorsport antes da troca de pilotos.

 No Q1 na corrida 1 a Mclaren ganhou tirando um ponto da vitória , ajudando de certa forma a Aciona Sainz, já que quem terminou em segundo foi a Rosberg x Racing.

Na corrida 2  do Q1 a vitória foi da Aciona Sainz tirando a diferença dos lideres do campeonato para 5 pontos, no Q2 as vitórias foram da X44 Vida Carbon Racing e Veloce Racing que tiraram a diferença dos lideres.

 A “Final “ do campeonato no inicio a Rosberg x Racing começou em último e teve que até fazer uma parada extra nos boxes e trocar um pneus furado e  na maior parte da corrida Aciona esteva com a mão na taça más na ousadia tentando passar a Molly Taylor com o carro da Veloce , Laia Sanz “jogou o titulo no ralo” caindo o titulo nas mãos da Rosberg x Racing que terminou a etapa final em segundo lugar conseguindo o seu bicampeonato  com problemas da Mclaren, Aciona e X44 Vida Carbon Racing.

A temporada de 2023 da Extreme E foi a melhor até agora pelo novo formato estilo rallycross de classificação com duas baterias divido em 2 grupos de 5 carros, com 4 voltas e o campeonato inteiro em formato de rodadas duplas, na visão dos fans da categoria por demorar pelo menos um mês entre uma etapa e outra o que foi um ponto positivo, o que fez muito embaralhar a classificação do campeonato entre um dia e outro.

Uma pequena critica a organização porque não fazer as corridas do Q2 com um intervalo de 1h30 e passar ao vivo tanto pelo Youtube e na TV. Em 2024 a categoria ganha o estatus de  mundial Fia , visando a Extreme H que começa em 2025, até por isso a calendário da próxima temporada deve começar depois do Dakar rally e o rally de Monte Carlo, provavelmente a partir de fevereiro,e espero que em 2024 possa ter a tão esperada etapa no Brasil o “Amazon X-Prix” em Santarém  no Pará.

Na última quarta feira tivemos a infeliz noticia que a equipe Alemã ABT Cupra vai se retirar da categoria em foco a Formula E em 2024, más já deixando um possível retorno ao Off Road na Extreme H em 2025.

A categoria esta com dificuldades em ter o grid tão sonhado de 12 carros desde sua criação, primeiro com 9 carros em 2021, depois para 10 carros em 2022 e 2023 , no inicio do ano na temporada de 2023 primeiro com a perda da Xite Energy Racing e agora a  perda da ABT Cupra para 2024, até  na última temporada poderia ter a entrada da 11ª equipe Australiana  XE Sports Group que provavelmente terá o patrocinador a BYD (marca Chinesa de carros elétricos) que adiou em um ano sua entrada , poderá ser a 10ª equipe na temporada de 2024.

LONG NIGHT TALKS. FOR ROBERT ADRIAN has been created during a residency at TONSPUR - Q21/ MQ MuseumsQuartier Wien in 2017. The piece is composed by a 8-channel sound work and 7 images. In addition to it, the ORF commissioned a radiowork to be broadcasted on Ö1 Radiokunst Kunstradio on the opening night. It features Fennesz, Susanna Gartmayer, and Robert Lippok. Long Night Talks is dedicated to Robert Adrian X (1935-2015) a pioneer in art and telecommunications. The Canadian artist lived in Vienna since 1972 and his contribution to the art world has been also witnessed by a large retrospective at Kunsthalle Wien back in 2001. Through more that two decades Adrian and Paci Dalò shared a close friendship also working together on several projects including a film Paci Dalò especially created for Adrian's major retrospective. The two used to sit in Adrian's studio in the Wiednerhauptstrasse and share long night talks dicussing passionately about art, radio, transmission, technologies, web, surveillance, sound, warfare, and conflicts. In LONG NIGHT TALKS. FOR ROBERT ADRIAN, Roberto Paci Dalò worked on Adrian's voice using it as a main material for the installation. The visitors had the opportunity to immerse themeselves in the grain of the voice together with field recordings, instrumental and electronics sounds. A journey into fascinating times and experiences where visitors are surrounded by sounds in the unique TONSPUR multi-channel audio environment. Parallel to the sound work, the artist created a series of 7 drawings conceived as a constellation. A nocturnal sky which is also a graphic score for the piece. "Eagles 2022 – Everything about the final season"

This is a translation of a Swedish blog post which you can find here. I don't know if this is an SVT-approved article, but it basically recaps the plot points from last season and gives a run-down of what will be explored in season 4.

Most of it aligns with the season 4 episode descriptions but also confirms additional details, so if you'd rather go in blind when the season premieres I would ignore this post!

At the end of the article I've written a short paragraph of my personal thoughts.

Friday the 28th of January is the premiere of the fourth and final season of Eagles on SVT Play. The final season will touch on how to take command of your own life, orthorexia, and what to do when the life you've gotten used to is shaken up and a new chapter begins. Who gets their dreams fulfilled? Who was shot on New Year's Eve? And will Ludde and Felicia have a happy ending?

The synopsis for Eagles season 4

The last semester of high school has begun and everything should be fantastic. However, the characters are instead faced with transformative events and life choices. Felicia (Alva Bratt) is in rehab after her suicide attempt and she just wants to focus on her well-being and graduate. But the person she needs the most to be able to move on is not there. For Ludvig (Adrian Öjvindsson), the weight of the shooting between Jack (Filip Wolfe Sjunnesson) and his brother Andreas (Oskar Laring) weighs heavy on his shoulders.

Amie (Yandeh Sallah) tries to find the balance between her music career and just being herself. But her record label has completely different plans in mind. Amie and Elias (Edvard Olsson) are also at the beginning of their relationship, but Elias has a completely different focus. He trains manically, keeps a strict diet, and is completely engrossed in achieving his hockey dreams. Whatever it may cost.

Klara (Sarah Gustafsson) feels like she carries the whole of Oskarshamn on her shoulders. The GECED company will be closed down and a large portion of the jobs in town will disappear. Now it's up to Klara to prevent that.

Eagles has been, and will also end, as a drama series about the life choices and emotions teenagers experience. Among these things are first love, friendships, betrayal, and dreams about the future.

There's a lot to unpack here, so I'll just go in chronological order and try to keep my thoughts brief.

First off, if the information in this article is accurate, that means the writers are actually going for an eating disorder storyline with Elias. We knew they were doing something with Elias as we had one scene of him overworking himself in the gym and another scene with Mats commenting on the fact that Elias mostly consumes powdered nutrients instead of real food.

I think a storyline like this has potential to really educate the audience. First off, orthorexia nervosa isn't something that's seen that often on TV. On top of that it's even more rare to show a male character with an eating disorder. I'm really interested to see how this will play out, maybe with the focus shifting a little from Felicia's mental health to instead focus on Elias's which has mostly been a question mark throughout the first three seasons.

Speaking of Felicia, the article mentions that she's out of rehab and that the person she needs the most isn't there. This could be either Ludde or Elias, but I'm leaning more towards Elias since he's her brother. Based on the episode descriptions we also know that when Felicia gets home from rehab, Elias is supposedly out partying.

They're keeping the details on the Andreas and Jack situation pretty hush-hush, but that's understandable.

As I've speculated before, Amie and Elias are probably heading for a rough patch now that we know Elias's focus lies more with his training.

This article also confirms that the GECED company is shutting down, but we'll see Klara try to prevent that.

The last thing I'd like to comment on is the cast list. Pretty standard, right? I'm not so sure. After listing the five main characters, there's an additional name wedged between Klara and Andreas (both pretty major characters). That name is Naima, played by an actress called Tina Pour Davoy. It seems that she'll have a significant role to play if she's included in the cast list. Just what that might be remains to be seen.

If you guys have any theories on what this might bring to the table in season 4, I'm very eager to hear them!
