What is a kink meme? Basically a public (usually nsfw) prompt, popularized on Livejournal. One person will throw out an idea that they don’t or can’t fulfill themselves in the hopes that it will spark creativity in someone else! A kink meme can be as simple as pairing + trope, or a full well-thought-out AU!

How do I submit a kink meme? Use the ask button on this blog and it will go into the queue! You can submit anonymously (traditional), but it will be posted either way - make sure you click anonymous if you don’t want your face on it!

How do I fill a kink meme? Any way you like! You can write a fic directly in the reblogs, post it on another site and provide a link, or even post a 32 part series in the replies! We just ask that you link the prompt on your creative piece and/or reblog the submission with your piece included or linked (whichever applicable). If you are putting an explicit fill in reblogs, please remember to add a community label if the original post does not already have one!

Can I fill/submit an NSFW prompt if I am under 18? NO!!!!!!!! Doing so not only endangers you, but the adults in fandom, as well. We can’t stop you from seeking out certain content if you want to see it, but you should not be interacting directly with adults on sexual topics.

Can I fill a prompt with art? Absolutely! If your craft is drawing, painting, crocheting, stop-motion, needlepoint, cosplay, etc etc etc and you are inspired by a kink meme, we encourage you to participate! We also encourage adding alt text to any images.

What content do you allow in submissions? All kinks are welcome - yes, even that one. We will reject submissions that are not WWDITS-based, are hateful in some way, or appear to be submitted in bad faith. Venting, character-bashing, or incomprehensible prompts will be deleted. Transphobia, racism, homophobia, antisemitism, ableism, etc will get you blocked. Due to the limitations of the mods, we are currently only accepting submissions in English or Spanish.

How are kink memes tagged? Tags will include any and all pairings, kinks, applicable tropes, and potentially triggering content to the best of our ability. If we have missed something or you would like to request a certain trigger tag, send us an ask! We cannot guarantee that we will be able to tag for everything, however, and it is important to remember to protect yourself and your online experience. Submissions with explicit language will have community tags attached.

Can I submit SFW prompts? Of course! Despite the name, kink memes aren’t just for porn.

Can I submit prompts with characters from the WWDITS movie, too? Absolutely!

Can I submit prompts with my OC? No, but not because we don’t like your OC - we just don’t know them! These prompts are for someone else to fill, so it has to include characters they know.

Can I submit reader-insert or y/n prompts? Yes, as long as the other characters are from WWDITS!

Can I submit RPF prompts? No, as we prefer that this kink meme focus on the characters in the show rather than the actors who play them. However, celebrities who have appeared in the show as themselves count as characters and are fair game (within reason)!

Can I submit crossover prompts? Yes, under certain conditions. This is a WWDITS kink meme, and we want to ensure those characters have the spotlight! So if your prompt is mostly about the crossover property, or if the WWDITS character is simply one of a medley of different characters, it may be rejected. No Harry Potter, please.

Can I make my own kink meme for a different fandom using this blog as a template? Of course! We encourage this - please bring kink memes back to fandom!!

Hi everybody!  

It's May (my birth month!) so it's time for another site update and to thank all our wonderful Patreon supporters!

First, we're still updating the site layout to be more user friendly.  Mobile users should have noticed that the site is a lot easier to navigate and no longer has the floating widget that blocks most of the image.  The desktop web browser layout is next to get an overhaul which I hope will make the front page more engaging.  We'll also be adding a tag cloud and a glossary and index of tags so it'll be easier for people to look through the archives. The glossary should explain what some of the terms like "boobsocks" (clothing that encases each breast separately like socks), "boob flounder" (both breasts on one side of the body), etc... mean.

If anybody has any other suggestions to improve the site's usability and readability, please let me know.  I'm very interested in feedback. 

A reminder, for those who want to follow us without using Tumblr, we have an RSS feed. (For newbies, RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is basically a feed you can read using an RSS reader. Simply copy and paste https://eschergirls.com/rss.xml into an RSS reader and it will keep you up to date on Escher Girls!)

Second, as usual, I've been working through restoring all the broken/poorly formatted/un-alt-texted posts from the past.  That's like 10 years of posts, so it takes a while.  This month my major restorations are these 3 "Legacy of the Phoenix" Marvel Max covers which has that infamous "peeling thong" image, this Magic Knight Armageddon card of a sexy elven Spartan, and the entire "Chronicles of the Dragon Knights"/"La Geste de Chevaliers Dragons" tag which includes 2 posts that have lengthy discussions from commenters about the work and what they think of it which may or may not be interesting to people. There's also a submission and redraw of a Tetris girl by Junodog.

I'm still working my way through the Tumblr inbox backlog, so if you submitted a post a long time ago, you might see it pop up in the near future.  I'm really sorry how long it takes for me to get to older submissions, Tumblr's inbox works in reverse chronological order so things get buried really easily.  I'm also still appealing the many incorrectly flagged posts on Tumblr, but the responses are automated and arbitrary (the algorithm seems to have a hard time knowing what actual nudity is because they constantly flag single coloured full bodysuits as nudity xD ).

Anyway, now I want to thank all of the wonderful Patreon supporters.  I really appreciate the support on Patreon and Ko-Fi because it helps me keep the site independently run from having to rely just on Tumblr or any other platform, and allows us to make site upgrades and make the site more accessible to people with disabilities.  Your support helps me pay for the domain, hosting, and other upgrades. <3

Hello and happy Weasley Wednesday once again! This week’s theme was “drunk” so here’s my contribution! Full disclosure - I struggled to complete this one on time and went through multiple drafts of it before I was happy with it. Hopefully you like the finished product! Since I was pressed for time, I am posting this on mobile, so please ignore any formatting issues. I’ll fix them once I’m on a computer!

MC placed the ladle in the last bowl of punch and placed it on the table before taking a step back and admiring her work. Everything was all set for tonight. Slytherin house was hosting another one of its big parties. The parties were usually exclusively for those in the Slytherin house, but since MC had taken over the role of house party planner in her 7th year, she was allowed to invite a select few students from other houses to the party. She had decided to invite her crush, Garreth Weasley, and his best friend Leander, who were Gryffindors. There was always a silly little rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor house, but MC didn’t care. She had a crush on Garreth since their 5th year, but was always too afraid to tell him how she felt. Now that she was in her 7th year and had grown some confidence in two years, she was hoping inviting Garreth to this first party of the school year would be her opportunity to tell him how she felt.

“Wow. You outdid yourself, MC! This is going to be one hell of a party! I can’t believe you invited Weasley and Prewitt, though. I still can’t believe you even have a crush on Weasley. Yuck!” Sebastian said as he walked into the common room checking out your work.

“Oh shut it Sallow! You don’t see me picking on you for your feelings for Ominis do you?!” There was a bite to MC’s voice, but she was mostly just messing with her friend. Sebastian looked around quickly, ensuring that no one was around to hear her say that. “No!” Sebastian whispered angrily. “And could you please not be so loud?! You’re not the only one scared to admit your feelings for your crush, you know!”

“Well maybe you will tonight! I know I’m hoping to. And if anything, there’s always this liquid courage to help us with that!” MC tilted her head towards the underside of the tables, where numerous kegs of firewhiskey were waiting to be opened up. “Alright, I need to go change before everyone starts showing up! See you in a few!” MC shouted as she dashed up the stairs to her dorm room.

“Okay so, which one of these makes me smell more desirable?!” Garreth said as he aggressively waved two cologne bottles in Leander’s face.

“Mate! I’m probably not the best person to ask that to! Just go with either. I’m pretty certain MC likes you back. She’ll like you regardless of your cologne. I mean, she did invite us to a Slytherin party, you know, the ones NO ONE from Gryffindor EVER gets invited to. She’s the most popular girl in school, she could have invited anyone from any of the other houses but she invited you. I know I only got invited as your plus one, but you were the main invite. That has to mean she fancies you. There’s no way she doesn’t!”

Garreth sighed, wanting to believe his friend, but having a hard time believing that MC, the most popular girl in school, as Leander had put it, had invited him to her party. Of course, MC and Garreth were friends, and she could have totally invited him as a friend, but to Leander’s point, she could have invited anyone, but she didn’t, she invited him. He had loved her since 5th year; she was so willing to get in trouble for him and steal that fwooper feather from Professor Sharp’s office for him. But he always thought she was too good for him, assuming that Sallow or any of the other Slytherin boys would have stolen her heart already, but none of them ever did. Garreth never thought for a second that she was holding on to her heart for the likes of Garreth Weasley, but little did he know how correct that was.

“I don’t know, mate. What if she doesn’t feel the same? I don’t want to make a fool out of myself!”

“Garreth, you make a fool out of yourself daily in class, and she loves it. It’s going to be fine!”

Garreth sighed once more and made a quick decision on the cologne, spritzing himself, and giving himself another glance over in the mirror. “Alright! Let’s do this!”

The Slytherin common room was loud, dark, and hot, the party in full force. Tons of students present, getting drunk and dancing the night away. MC made her way through the crowds of people, eager to find Garreth. She hadn’t seen him yet, and was beginning to worry he didn’t show. She did find Sebastian however, he was on one of the couches, drink in hand, him and Ominis looking very cozy together. A smile formed on her face. She would consider this night a win if even one of them got lucky tonight. MC made her way over to the couch.

“You boys look like you’re having a good time!” She shouted in a suggestive tone. She hadn’t noticed this from a distance, but when she sat on the couch she noticed Sebastian and Ominis were holding hands. Ominis turned to her, way more smiley than he usually ever was. “It’s too loud in here!” He yelled. “But Sebastian was saying maybe we should head back up to the dorm, go somewhere quieter, weren’t you, love?” MC looked at Sebastian in shock, and he returned her look with a smile and a wink. “Yes Ominis, we should head up there now!” The pair stood up, Sebastian taking Ominis’s hand.

MC stood up too, leaning in and whispering “Good luck!” In Sebastian’s ear. Sebastian repeated the action. “You too, by the way, he’s over there by the snacks, go get ‘em!” MC turned to see Garreth, turned back to Sebastian to flash him a smile before she quickly walked over to the snack table.

“Garreth relax! I see her now. She’s right over-oh shit she’s coming over here!” Leander explained, trying to calm down his friend who appeared to be having a nervous breakdown fueled by his drunkenness. He had gotten extremely nervous from the moment he walked into the party, and had been chugging shots of firewhiskey to calm his nerves. Four shots in though and it hadn’t worked, now he was nervous AND drunk.

“Shit!” Garreth shouted as he sloppily shoved the remainder of the pumpkin pasty he had been eating into his mouth, swallowing as quickly as he could to not look embarrassing in front of MC.

“Hey you two!” MC exclaimed when she approached. “Enjoying the party?”

“Great! Yes. Wow. You look…wow!” Garreth slurred out as he looked MC over. MC noticed his eyes, they were a beautiful shade emerald green, as they usually were, but this time they were a little glassy, indicating his drunken state. Even so, she loved getting lost in his eyes, and kept her stare for a few seconds before Garreth wrapped his arms around her waist and aggressively pulled her into him, almost knocking her over in the process.

“Has anyone ever told you…hiccup…that you are the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen?” MC giggled at Garreth’s words and his hiccups, them being the cutest, most high pitched hiccups she had ever heard. She knew he was a bit drunk, but she still couldn’t help but melt at his words.

“I think…hiccup…I think I might be…in love with you? No no I…I am! And I know I’m…a liiiiittle drunk. But! I know that I love you so so much! But not as a friend! As a more than…friend! Do you want to be my girlfriend?”

MC was taken aback by the confession, her jaw dropping slightly. She looked up at Leander, who was watching this entire interaction, with a silent question on her face. Leander nodded his head, “I know he’s a little drunk but, yes, it’s true.” MC’s eyes came back to Garreth, his hands still on her waist and his eyes glued to her, the most loving look in his eyes. She decided it was now or never, and wrapped her arms around Garreth’s head, pulling him into a soft, sweet kiss. They kissed for a few seconds before MC pulled away.

“Did you see that?! She hiccup kissed me!” Garreth asked as he turned around back to Leander. Leander just laughed, grabbed himself a drink and looked at MC. “Well, I’ll leave you to it, then! Have a good night you two!” He then gave MC a wink and left. MC turned back to Garreth, his hands still glued to her waist. “Well, tonight is gonna be fun!”

The pair crashed through the door of the empty Slytherin dungeon’s girl’s bathroom, refusing to break the furious kiss they were in as they stumbled in. Garreth pushed MC up against the door, his hands still not having left her waist since he first put them there 20 minutes ago. They had stayed at the party to continue drinking, but had now grown tired of the party, eager to find a place to be alone.

Garreth was making a desperate attempt to pick MC up in his arms, which normally he could have probably done, but in his drunken state, not so much. MC laughed against Garreth’s lips. “My arms don’t work!” He slurred out laughing, which made MC laugh harder. She pushed against the door and pushed him into one of the sinks to continue kissing him, but he slipped a little when he made contact with the sink. He looked down at the sink, which was a previously broken, non functioning sink.

“Ooooh. I broke the sink! My aunt is going to be so mad at meee!”

“Sweetie, it was already broken. It’s been broken for a while.” MC laughed.

“Oh…why is there a little snake on it? Hi snake! Does it have a name?”

“I don’t know. Now get over here!”

MC crashed her lips into Garreth again, resuming their make out session. After a few minutes, Garreth had managed to flip their position, so that she was the one up against the sink. It was easier to pick her up this time, as Garreth sat MC on the ledge of the broken sink.

His lips moved down to her neck as Garreth began to run his hands up her thigh. His hands trailing up her skirt as he continued his assault on her neck. She couldn’t wait to proudly show off the love marks that would surely be present the next day. She then let out a gasp as she felt Garreth’s hand reach her underwear, already damp from the evening’s activities so far.

“Oh baby! You’re already so wet for me!” Garreth groaned out as he slipped his fingers under the waistband and through her folds. He began to sloppily rub circles into her, MC letting out a harsh moan in response.

She didn’t care one bit who heard her, the alcohol in her system dissolving any inhibitions or reservations she had. Garreth out a moan as well, reveling in the feeling of MC’s wetness that he was responsible for. He then dipped two fingers into her, MC letting out a sinful groan that likely could be heard from outside.

Garreth wasn’t gentle about it, harshly pumping his fingers in and out of her. She spread her legs further and lifted her skirt higher, giving Garreth more access to her. The sink was not a comfortable seat, but that was the last thing on her mind as she crawled closer and closer to an orgasm.

When Garreth never returned to their dorm room last night, Leander rejoiced, knowing the night likely ended well. He knew him and MC were likely in the Room, MC having shown it to them both last term. On the way there, he ran into Sebastian, who was looking for MC himself. He was sporting several dark patches on his neck, which Leander couldn’t help but point out.

“Someone had a good night!”

“That I did.” He chuckled. “But it seems like our friends had a better night.” Sebastian replied.

They entered the Room to find them both still in bed wrapped in the covers, their clothes scattered across the floor. MC was sitting up rubbing Garreth’s back as he violently puked in a wastebasket he was hugging. She looked up at her friends with an exasperated look on her face before bursting into laughter.

It had been a good night indeed, and MC was looking forward to having more (less drunk) good nights with Garreth.

Hello I was wondering if you can give me advice to publish a Fic .. I am new on this and and I have no idea how this works or if I need to tag somebody... I also heard about beta's .. what Is a beta? Any feedback you can provide It will be much appreciated .. thanks!!

Hi! How cool that you have a story you’re willing to share. I’m so happy for you and those of us who’ll get to read it.

Before you publish, let me first answer your question about betas. A beta reader is kind of like an editor; it’s a person who reads your work before you publish it. Most betas will catch typos and grammar issues, as well as plot inconsistencies, etc. A good beta will point out instances when your characters are acting out of character, or when you’re not following canon (if you’re trying to follow canon). But fear not! Betas also highlight stuff they love and make you feel very warm and gooey. (There are also plenty of betas who will give you a read and just give you encouragement. When I beta — something I sadly rarely have the bandwidth for anymore — I tend to ask what kind of read the writer is looking for; deep dive pick-it-apart beta? feel good beta? typos only beta?) Beta readers are, in my opinion, absolutely essential to putting out good fic. And most of them are absolutely dear people who are only pointing out your mistakes because they want you to put out the best work possible. Don’t take anything personally. (A thick skin isn’t necessary, but helps.) If you don’t have a beta or two, get one. And if you don’t know where to find one and would like help, feel free to send me another ask, and I’ll reblog to help put out the call.

Now, onto your other question. How does publishing a fic work? I can only speak to how I do it, but goes a bit like this:

Once my story is finished and beta-ed, the first thing I do is publish it to AO3. (If you don’t have an account, get one! This process may take a few days.) I assume you read fic, so you’re familiar with tags, ratings, etc. Next is formatting. Use Rich Text rather than HTML (there are buttons at the top right). If you’re publishing from a Google doc, you will annoyingly need to remove extra spaces. You’ll get a feel for it.

Once it’s on AO3, I copy and paste from there to Tumblr. My advice is to use the desktop version rather than mobile—you won’t have to reformat. I don’t usually tag anyone, but blogs like @today-in-fic are great to get more eyes on your work.

From there I also post a link to the story on AO3 to Twitter, but that’s only because I have a fic/fandom specific account.

hii sweetest! yes, of course I can give you some pointers. first of all, welcome to tumblr authorhood!! may you receive many comments and find infinite motivation~

for me, I suppose I’m “self-taught”? but isn’t everyone on this app? lol. actually, I’ve been sharing fic on tumblr for… idk, 8 years on and off ?? omg that’s wild. but yeah, I’ve definitely learned some stuff along the way., here are my key takeaways:

(general) promote interaction:

there’s a couple things I do to try to improve the number of notes I receive on my posts, but there’s also a few things I try my best to do in order to improve my readers’ experience. first, I use tags on every post I publish. I have a tag for asks, for my fics, for my fic recs, etc. This makes it easier for a potential follower to go through with following you even if they don’t like 100% of your content, bc they can always blacklist the tag and they won’t have to see any of those posts. second, use links so that your readers can easily look through your stuff. a masterlist is KEY here as it’s the gateway for all your fics, but also, general navigation, or even linking your masterlist at the end of your fics can be beneficial too. I find it’s also really important to have links in your bio. this makes it way more approachable for any followers and it’s honestly nice to have for your own purposes as well. the only thing about that is, you have to make the links for your bio on the computer version of tumblr when you’re editing your blog. it cannot be mobile, something about it just won’t work. i can go into further detail on how to get those bio links but tbh i just looked it up on google 5yrs ago and it’s stayed the same since then lol~

theme:

obviously my blog doesnt have a “theme” theme when you visit it on computer, but i mean theme as in, all your navigation/general/fic posts are cohesive and they look like they belong on the same blog. you can achieve this by using the same fonts, text symbols (or emojis…. i guess. personally, side eye…), or dividers.

fonts:

so beyond the 3 fonts tumblr has in its posting formatting, i personally like to use copy paste fonts. they still work with embedding links and stuff as well. i like to use a font generator, where you type in whatever you’d like and it converts it for you. then you can just copy & paste.

text symbols:

these are a good for borders and dividers, or just generally spicing up your bio/navigation. i usually google “text symbols copy paste”, and browse through the results.

dividers:

when you’d like to use a photo divider on your blog, make sure it is a very skinny PNG file. PNG means it has a transparent background, so it will be more cohesive for your readers on regular white posts and also dark mode posts. I actually designed my own PNG divider (Azriel’s siphon of course hehe) on my iPad on ProCreate, but I know there’s a lot of blogs that make them and share them, which you can use so long as you give proper credits. that’s another thing that’s important— always make sure to credit others if you’re using work that isn’t yours!

most importantly, I recommend always TESTING these methods!! make sure to double check that all your links work, that the symbol you choose doesn’t become an emoji when you paste, that the font is all set. there’s a lot of trial and error involved in making your blog just right :) hope this helps & good luck anon!!

Ryan Car Accident Angst

a/n: I am not 100% sure what to title this so it is untitled. I have wanted to do a angsty car accident fic for awhile so when @tearfallpixie tagged me in this post I knew what I wanted to do with it and this is where my mind went. I’m not the best at angsty stuff so I apologize if this isn’t my best work but I didn’t think it was too bad for my first real crack at angsty stuff.

“Hey Ry, is y/n joining us for our celebration dinner tonight? I never asked, I know all the other girlfriends are going to join us,” Chris asks Ryan, curious. You and Ryan have been together for a few months now but he has not brought you around for anyone to meet you yet, everyone is interested in getting to know you.

“Yeah, I am picking her up later from work and we will meet you all at the restaurant. She has been nervous about meeting everyone which is why I haven’t brought her around quite yet,” Ryan smiles when he thinks of you, he is really looking forward to getting to introduce you to his second family tonight. If he had it his way he would have sooner but you were nervous about it, worried that being the boring school teacher you didn’t think that you would fit in with any of them. While he has reassured you otherwise your anxieties just have not left, in fact you are really nervous about this tonight.

“I didn’t think about it being Friday, at least it's the end of the week and she’ll be off for a few days.” Chris says, trying to sound supportive towards his friend.

“Yeah, and it’s fall break next week so they don’t go back until Thursday so we have almost a full week together, we talked about taking a road trip somewhere starting tomorrow for a few days. That way we can have alone time before the next tour hits.”

“I’m going to head out to go shower before we all meet up, I will see you tonight Ryan,” Chris says before leaving his friends house, they can continue to work on the new song tomorrow.

Ryan decides to go and take a shower himself before he comes to get you, wanting to refresh and have a clear mind when he sees you, excited that you are finally going to join him and meet the guys tonight.

Stepping out of the shower he gets dressed and then gets in his car, ready to make the drive to your school and pick you up. There is still time before you guys are all due at the restaurant but that doesn’t bother either of you, he already knew you planned to change and freshen yourself up after he got you, that you wanted to go back to your apartment before you went to see everyone.

He messages you that he has arrived and waits until he sees you pop outside of the school, making your way over to him with a smile with your bag.

When you get in his car you lean over the center armrest to give him a quick kiss, lingering in the moment before pulling away to put on your seatbelt when he starts to make the drive to your place.

“How was your day, hopefully the kids were easier on you today than yesterday,” he asks you as he softly grabs your hand with his, watching the road.

“It was, the kids were all pretty good today. Honestly for a Friday it wasn’t half bad, how was your day? Did you and Chris finish the song you were working on?” you ask, smiling at him. You loved watching him when he was focused on something, whether it be driving or watching a show with you, whatever it is he is paying attention to.

“We did not, for some reason there is something that just isn’t clicking. We decided to just give up and call it a day as we both were getting really frustrated, sometimes it's best just to call it a day,” you can see that he was a little frustrated while talking about it so you rub the back of his hand with your thumb hoping that he finds comfort in the touch.

“I understand that, at least we get a few days to relax and spend time together after tonight, I think that we both need this,” you answer him softly, hoping he is as excited as you are about having this time together.

He pulls into your apartment parking lot, grabbing your hand as you both make your way into the building. He takes a seat on your couch while you change out of your teacher's clothing into a decent pair of jeans and a nice tank top, touching up your hair and makeup before going back out and sitting next to Ryan, leaning your head on his shoulder.

“Thank you for agreeing to go tonight with me y/n. I know that it makes you nervous but everyone will love you, you’re going to fit in well.” he says, lightly rubbing his hand on your bare arm as you sit there quietly.

“I’d be lying if I said I am not anxious but I have to eventually right?” you ask him softly, sighing to yourself. “We should probably leave Ry.”

“Yeah, I was just enjoying the moment. Let’s head out.”

You both make your way back to his car so that you can start your way to the restaurant to meet up with everyone, not completely sure what you are currently thinking. As if Ryan can sense your hesitation he grabs your hand the second you are in your seat and turns to look at you.

“Seriously, don’t worry about tonight. It is going to be just fine, I promise. If you get too uncomfortable then we can leave.” He says, now holding your face with a hand so that he can make you look at him. You nod, not really having anything to say back.

Ryan pulls onto the road, starting his drive while you sit there quietly, watching out your window lost in your thoughts, not really paying much attention to anything, choosing to just think despite the fact that might not be the best thing for you to be doing.

Before either of you can process what is happening another car runs a red light, slamming into your side of the car, your door crumpling inwards, the window breaking covering you in glass as your head slams into the door making you black out almost instantly from the impact.

Ryan slams into his door from the force of the other car, feeling the airbag hitting him hard, leaving him out of breath momentarily as he registers what happens. He immediately looks over at you, panic and grief hitting him when he sees how bad of shape you are in. Trying to undo his seatbelt so he can get to you all he can do is grab your arm, desperate to try and get your attention, try to get you to wake up despite the fact part of him knows that you are too injured to do so, losing a lot of blood from a couple of your wounds.

He sobs, letting out a shaky breath, “I can’t lose you, please. I love you y/n, hang on. I can see lights coming down the road, they’re going to help you.”

When the paramedics arrived he wound up separated from you as they extracted you from the vehicle, being the most injured you were the first one to be transported out in an ambulance, the other driver and Ryan we’re next as neither was injured quite as badly as you were.

At the hospital they bandaged Ryan up, he had a couple broken ribs and minor whiplash but nothing that overly bad minus the severe bruising where the seatbelt held him in his seat. He refused to leave, he wasn’t completely sure what happened to you, they never told him other than that you had to be rushed back into emergency surgery. They wouldn’t tell him much as he isn’t family, so he is waiting for your parents to answer the call and to give the doctors permission to tell him what is happening because they live out of state.

He was trying his best not to break down and cry but it was becoming harder and harder the more time passed, he can’t believe that this happened when everything was supposed to be so great. He was going to tell you he loved you on your trip, the two of you had plans and he finally got to introduce you to his second family and this had to happen.

He feels a hand settle on his shoulder and looks up to see Rick looking at him concerned, Rick immediately pulling the taller man into a hug not really caring at this point who saw, just wanting to comfort his friend. Ryan finally broke down in the hug, not noticing that the rest of his friends and their girlfriends had now joined him in the waiting room.

“Have you heard anything yet?” Rick asks him softly when Ryan pulls away from the hug.

“Not yet, they said they can’t tell me anything unless her family okays it when they call because I am not family. All I know is she is in emergency surgery, but I have no clue what for or anything.” Ryan answers, drawing in a shaky breath and looking at everyone who has shown up in the waiting room. “She suffered a lot worse than myself or the other driver, they told me it was an idiot teen who was texting.”

“I’m sure she will be okay, she’s at the best place that she could be right now.” Chris says giving his friend a small smile as they all take a seat with him, wanting to support him as much as they can.

A few hours later a nurse comes out, looking around the room at everyone asking for Mr. Sitkowski. Ryan stands up and makes his way over to where the nurse was standing, eager to find out anything that he can.

“We got permission from Ms. y/l/n parents to update you and let you see her. She is out of surgery, she wound up breaking her neck. We did a surgery to repair it the best we can, she could potentially be paralyzed but we won’t know that until she is awake and we can do further assessments. She did need stitches in several cuts in her face and head, and has severe bruising all over. But, she is alive. If you would like to, you can go back to her room, we can get you a blanket and you can stay as long as you want. Normally that is reserved for family but we have permission for you to stay with her in her room.”

He lets everyone know what he was just told, them all going home for the night, before walking back with the nurse, quickly moving a chair close to your bed so that he can sit next to you and grab your hand. He wants to kiss your forehead, wake you up and let you know that he is there but he knows that he can't. All he wants is to give you what little form of comfort that he can while you are laying there, still unconscious.

“It will likely be several hours before she is awake. Would you like a blanket so you can sleep in the chair?” A nurse asks him sympathetically.

He nods, and gladly accepts the drink she hands him and the blanket before she shuts the lights off and he doses out.

He notices a little movement which quickly wakes him up several hours later, looking over at you. He quickly smiles when he notices that your eyes are fluttering open, finally having the reassurance that everything will ultimately be okay. He doesn’t care if you wind up paralyzed, if you can’t walk, all that he cares about is that you are awake and alive. Tears falling down his face in relief when you look up at him and you squeeze his hand lightly.

“You have no clue how happy I am you are awake y/n. I have been worried sick all night about you,” he says gently, moving to kiss your forehead as he looks at you with what you can only describe as love in his eyes.

“You can’t get rid of me that easily…” you trail off slightly, squeezing the hand that is currently holding yours.

He calls your nurse down so that they can do what they need to do, the surgeon himself coming in to do some tests and relaying the good news that you were able to wiggle your toes and move, so the paralysis risk is gone. When they finish all the tests and leave your room you look over at Ryan, wanting to tell him something you found really important.

“I heard you, you told me that you loved me,” you say softly, blushing as you glance at him.

“Yes,” he responds back, not an ounce of hesitation in his voice.

“While you thought I was dying in your arms, in front of you,” you say even softer, almost whispering when you make eye contact with him, while Ryan tries to figure out where you are going with this.

“Yes, I thought I was going to lose you,” he responds, reaching to brush some hair out of your face where it hung. Trying to distract himself slightly while he waits to hear what you have to say next.

“Well, I’m still alive. Care to repeat that?” You ask, this time a bit more bold as you look at him, begging him to do so.

“I love you y/n. The realization hit me when we were stuck in that car and I thought I was losing you. I’m sorry it took me almost losing you to realize that,” he says, kissing your forehead softly, not wanting to accidentally hurt you somehow as you laid in the bed looking uncomfortable.

“I love you too Ry, I wanted you to say it so I could say it back,” you say gently, knowing that while you have a long road ahead that he is going to walk every step with you. That he will help you with everything that you need, that he will love you and comfort you through this, and at that moment you knew that you could never let him go. You two made it through this, you can make it through the recovery and anything else that you face in the future if you make it through this and you know that you can with him by your side.

On the comics formatting - long vertical posts is very standard for tumblr! On mobile the read more is a text button just like twitter. The expand is actually a newer UI addition, and doesn't exist on web (as far as I know) - it's just a setting on mobile that shortens long posts if the user that setting toggled on.

Also as a warning if you plan to link to a masterpost, 1st part, next / previous part, etc. Tumblr is sometimes weird with posts that have links, so it's recommended to edit your post and add the links in after initially posting.

If you want to keep a record of all the parts (like the Twitter moment), usual practice is to make a masterpost with all the links, or make a separate page on your blog that links to the tag for the story. The separate page may not display properly on the mobile app if you've got a web theme on your blog though.

So I wanted to address your tags a bit and I think that this reply will need a larger word count than what the replies section on the post would normally allow, and since the original post is already pretty darn long, I decided to put this as its own post so as to not make that post even more of a slog to scroll through! I hope you don't mind! I'm on mobile right now and haven't slept (been trying to sleep for the past 3ish hours but have yet to succeed), so this may not be the best formatted nor the most cohesive right now, but I hope this is at least mildly comprehensible!

In any case, plural people will often refer to themselves and the individuals that they coexist and share a headspace with as a "system". Just like any system, many plurals have individuals within that system that serve specific roles that they fill as they share their lives together. One person may be the host who is usually at the front and takes care of most day to day goings on, another individual might be the protector who also holds onto trauma, and whenever they are in a stressful or possibly traumatic situation, they take over to deal with things, while still another individual is a caretaker and takes care of the little things to make sure that the body is happy and healthy, they so make sure to clean their house, bathe, cook good food, go outside etc. They all live together and so work together in a kind of system. Therefore when I say "system members" I mean the individual people within any given plural system. So if Two-Face is the system I'm discussing, Two-Face's "system members" are Harvey, his Associate, and any other people they are in the system with (the Judge, Janus, there might be a kid in there? etc). The term is more or less synonymous with "headmate" or, yes "alternate personality" or "alter" as you used in your tags. However in my research of plural people, I've read that some systems don't like it when you refer to the individuals in their system as "personalities" or "alters". "Alter" seems to be a widely accepted medical term to refer to the individual people within a plural system, but given that some people dislike the term, I try to avoid using it. (Specifically the site I was reading tended to refer to system members as "friends" but given that Harvey and his Associate are decidedly NOT friends and do not get along to use other terms for them instead.) They dislike the term "personality" because it implies that these individuals within a system are not whole people in of themselves who exist separate from the other individuals they are in a system with. A "personality" is not a person, but is rather a feature of a person. The diagnosis for "multiple personality disorder" fell out of use for a reason and many systems felt that the term was an inaccurate and inadequate way to describe their existence. The individuals within a system are people, not merely "personalities" that a single person switches between. "Alter" can also imply a similar sentiment as it may be thought of as being short for "alternate personality". Both ideas kinda stem back to this idea that when someone becomes plural that a single person broke apart into different aspects of themselves and that these other "personalities" are just "alternate" versions of themselves, which simply does not reflect the lived experience of many plural people. This also implies that the individuals who formed after the "original" body's inhabitant are somehow lesser than that first inhabitant. You have the original inhabitant of the body and then you have the "alters"- the others that came afterwards. Again, "alter" seems to be a widely accepted term, especially in a medical sense in the plural community, but I still want to try to avoid the implication as much as I can and so try to use other terms like "headmate" or "system member" more instead.

Also from what I can tell, most instances of plurality come from a background of abuse. So it's not surprising for Moon Knight and Harvey to have similar backstories as far as abuse is concerned. But I haven't watched Moon Knight, so I have no idea what his backstory looks like. However that being said, as far as I could tell, it didn't seem like plurality is something that people generally inherit...? Like, I never got the inkling that there's a genetic component to it...? So seeing that in the previews... Bothers me... Of course, I could be wrong and could have just missed that in my research. But right now I am honestly of the opinion that plurality is just a human thing. A neurodivergency, yes, but that it's something that anyone could experience! Yes, most instances of plurality seem to come from abuse, but also natural plurality that seems to pop in out of nowhere happens too! (My real life best friend may have this form of plurality!) And there are even some religions where you deliberately and purposefully form headmates as part of the practice! If you can voluntarily become plural, honestly plurality may just be a fact of human existence that can happen to anyone if the right circumstances come along.

But once again, do keep in mind that I am not plural and can not speak for them. I may be entirely wrong in my thoughts, views, and opinions on this. When it comes to the topic of plurality, always listen to plural voices over mine. Ultimately my opinion means nothing next to theirs. So if there are any plurals or system members out there that would like to add to this little discussion, please do so! I always welcome hearing it, and I want to do what I can to support the plural community and be a good ally to them!

In any case, I'm glad that you found my previous post to be helpful and hope that you find this post helpful too. I'm going to try and sleep some now that the sun has risen while I've been writing this lol

DEITIES Update -- October 2022

OC_TOBER 2022 PLANS PART 1 of 2 -- DEITIES CAST LINEUP & PROFILES

The gist of my OC_Tober plan this month will be sharing separate profiles and featured art each weekday in a thematic order for the DEITIES Project -- 5 per week, 20 total. These will likely debut on my art twitter first, and then be mirrored on tumblr later the same day.

This is my minimum goal, but I'll gauge my free time if I have the bandwidth to do some extra things for fun -- like any additional new art, meme templates, blog posts on the website, or other nostalgia trips.

OC_TOBER 2022 PLANS PART 2 of 2 -- MONTH-LONG ASKBOX SESSION (Upcoming!!)

In addition to the character profiles, I'll also reopen my tumblr Askbox to answer as many project questions as I can -- albeit gradually, likely to share on the weekends. It'll also help me gauge how much volume I can manage, and whether it something I can keep open or at least re-open more regularly.

As of now the Askbox is still closed -- I was aiming to open it by the start of the month, but needed to put all my energy into completing the lineup before the end of September 😂 Please give me at least another day to rest and prepare before I reopen it, I promise I'll give you all another heads up once it's ready.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

I've established in the site's Introduction page how development for DEITIES Project is still ongoing. But I've been having to balance it next to other tasks that require my attention, hence why it's felt a bit slow on tumblr and elsewhere.

Fortunately, some good friends convinced me to participate in this year's Artfight this past summer. Drawing each other's OCs renewed my creative energy, and I enjoyed the encouragement from my peers + the sheer enthusiasm for each others' OCs, it was a great experience with everyone!

From there, I felt re-energized to revisit DEITIES Project and see what next steps and WIPs I could tackle, and I could see that it sorely needed a full lineup sheet for some time. This was especially given how some characters were lacking clear visual references, or had some that were heavily outdated! 

This years OC_tober felt like a good opportunity to address this massive to-do, and to re-introduce some of the cast along the way. I had to wait until it was basically finished before I could give you all the heads up, but hopefully it's something to look forward to this month!

Event Week Upkeep (Art Credit, Busted Mobile Links, and Spoiler Tags)

Two weeks to go until Spinaraki Week: Round 3, and we the mods hope everyone is as excited as we are!

A few quick points to address before we get to the meat of this post:

Per a few questions about it, Mod Nal (@codenamesazanka) is the one who does all our graphics; look forward to more details from her about her fantastic screenshot mockup for this year's prompts at a later date!

I (Mod Stillness) noticed that the links to the rules and the text-based prompt list don't work on my mobile app, so for any who share that issue, if you want to review The Rules or get The Prompts in a nice easy format for copy-pasting, you'll find them beneath the Read More cut at the bottom of this post!

That said, I'd like to take a few minutes to address how we'll be tagging for spoilers for this event week. If you either don't care about spoilers or actively follow the weekly leaks, all you need to know is that we are NOT asking participants to tag their spoilers unless they wish to do so as a courtesy to their own followers; we'll be doing tagging on our end.

If you are concerned about spoilers, read on.

Regarding the currently airing season of the anime: the mods' assumption is that we don't have many people around here who are anime-only, as the anime has—to say the least!—not done a stellar job of translating the appeal of the ship. If you're following us and you are an anime-only, please do speak up either in the notes of this post or via ask to let us know if you'd like us to spoiler tag anything the anime hasn't gotten to yet!

Also, we're thrilled you exist and managed to find this pairing despite the anime's best attempts to hide it from you. Congratulations on your keen insight! You'll probably want to stop reading this post right about now, though.

For everyone else, given the events of the chapter that released just today—Chapter 369—it's looking like we are, for the first time, all but guaranteed to see some Spinner action during the course of the event week! How nerve-wracking thrilling! Chapter 370 is due to officially release on the 23rd, the day before the event starts; likewise, if these things follow the usual timing, leaks for Chapter 371 should start coming out in the Tuesday night to Thursday morning range, with the scanlation coming out on Friday and the official release closing out our week on Sunday.

Accordingly, we'll be tagging any work that deals with content from those chapters as bnha 370 and bnha 371, so do blacklist those if you want to be thorough about avoiding exposure to spoilers!

If anybody has any other requests about spoiler tags (ex. you're all caught up on Villain Hunt but running behind on the current arc) or tagging in general, feel free to weigh in as well with any requests!

RULES AND POLICIES

1)  We will accept and reblog any fan-made work—fanfiction, fanart, meta, playlists, etc.—so long as it focuses primarily on Shigaraki and Spinner’s relationship and fits an appropriate daily prompt.  The work must be newly published for the week, though if you wish to also use it as a fill for some other concurrent event, you’re welcome to do so.           You can work with any of the daily prompts you like, singly or in combination.  We try to keep them fairly broad, so feel free to get as creative as you like!  We welcome any fill that satisfies some aspect of the chosen prompt(s). 

2)  We’re celebrating the relationship between Shigaraki and Spinner as it’s been, as it may be, and even as it could have been.  Shippy-fic or gen-fic, canon-compliant or AU, romantic or platonic or any complicated place in between; we’re good with all of it.  Polyshipping/OT3s are allowed, but the focus must remain on Shigaraki and Spinner.

3)  Regarding content, we’re not placing hard limits on what we’re accepting.  Shigaraki and Spinner are villains in a canon that goes to some shockingly dark places, so we consider exploration of that darkness fair game for fanwork.  Likewise, given that this is a week focused on a relationship, we welcome NSFW content.  We do, however, ask that all content be responsibly and appropriately tagged for any content you have reason to expect could be upsetting to others. 

4)  We’ll be checking the tags for spinarakiweek2022, spinarakiweekround3, spinarakiweek, and spinarakiweeknsfw.  As stated above, please tag also for any work that requires content warnings.  We’re only operating on tumblr, so if your work is hosted elsewhere, feel free to post a link to it and use one of our tags, though if you do so, you may also wish to message us about it, given tumblr’s notorious grouchiness about off-platform links.           Feel free to message us if it seems like we’ve missed a fill of yours!  Late entries are allowed and enthusiastically welcome.  

5)  No hating on other ships or characters—we’re here to celebrate and enjoy Spinaraki, so if there’s a character you can’t include without bashing them disproportionately to the canon, just don’t include them.  Likewise, please be respectful of other participants and their work, whether or not it’s to your particular taste.

6)  We reserve the right to exercise moderator discretion in the case of borderline rule violations or unforeseen issues.
