Spent the day with the kids, lounging around watching movies, and mostly reading Metahuman (Deepak Chopra), exploring my mind. 📖🕯🧘🏽‍♀️

Something I learned: The audio book is needed in addition to the written book for deeper understanding, and especially if you have kids around. Thankfully, Deepak uses his own voice for the audio. It also helps to get through the exercises in the back of the book, and to help guide you through the meditations. Well worth the time and $ to connect with yourself.

I'm always trying to grow for my family. Expanding my mind.. trying to reshape old habits... because I know I'm capable of doing more, and loving people in a better way, than what I have been doing.

We all are.

Our yard is running a little rampant right now with grass, weeds, and little flowers. Saturday morning inspiration. I have been a huge fan of @me_and_orla 's beautiful Instagram page for quite a long time now. Not only is Sara' s work and story incredibly inspiring but she is also so willing to share her advice and experience to help others grow - whether through the wonderful #theinstachat community or now through her beautiful #hashtagauthenticbook. . I've spent a lovely few hours flicking through this wonderful book over a coffee this morning and already feel motivated to get out there and play with my camera. One of the first exercises in the book is to write a list of the moments of the day that bring you joy - I thought I would share mine: *light streaming through the bedroom windows when I wake. *seeing the moon setting as I get into the car to drive to the station in the morning. *walking to the office in awe of the beautiful architecture of the buildings around me. *watching the sunset over the Manchester skyline. *cooking dinner whilst listening to music. *lighting the fire in the afternoon and sitting with a cup of tea. *opening the windows to fill the house with fresh air *Magic cuddling up to me when I'm in bed. .
