Questions for the 🎶 The Ultimate Music Ask Game! 🎶: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 25, 29, 30, 32, 37, 40, 47, 48, 49, 51, 53, 57 ->💚, 58 -> Pentagon - Do or Not + OOO - Libido (I know you love this song :D), 61 -> ViXX vs. Ateez + OOO vs. Oh my Girl, 63, 65 pretty please🥰
Thank you very much! 🥰
4. Is there a song you love but don't like its music video?
Pentagon - Do or Not
5. Is there a song you don't like but like its music video?
Chungha - Stay Tonight, Bicycle
Dreamcatcher - Piri
6. Who's an artist you really like but it's embarrassed to admit it?
I don’t think there is one. I am just embarrassed to admit that I used to like BTS (until Fake Love). xDD
8. Is there an artist or song that you like, despite being of a genre you don't usually like?
Yes, I usually don't like Hip-Hop, Rap and everything around it, but I actually like some songs by pH-1 and Sik-K.
9. Do you have a favorite band?
Not anymore. I still love The GazettE, but I don't consider them to be my favorite band. Aside I also like Bursters, Purple Rain, N.Flying, Red Hot Chili Peppers and older disbanded bands like ScReW, アンド AND -Eccentric Agent- and MEJIBRAY.
10. Favorite solo artist?
Jeong Eunji is technically not a solo artist, but I still love her solo work.
Robin Gibb is also an artist of who I love the solo work, even though he was technically also not a solo artist.
12. Who’s the most obscure artist you listen to?
Dir En Grey
13. Who’s the most popular/mainstream artist you listen to?
ATEEZ or TXT, don't know who is more popular
25. Is there a song you used to like but can’t listen to anymore because you associate it with someone you don’t like?
No, not anymore. I couldn't listen to DuelJewel for a while because the friendship with the person who introduced them to me ended bad. But not anymore. I usually don't try to associate songs with people, especially not songs I love because sooner or late someone will try to ruin it for you.
29. Songs you love to dance to:
U-KISS - Neverland
BTOB - 신바람
Oh My Girl - Dun Dun Dance
Twice - Alcohol-Free
30. Songs you love to sing along to:
Bee Gees - Closer Than Close, Alone, For Whom The Bell Tolls, You Win Again, Rings Around The Moon
Robin Gibb - Another Lonely Night In New York, Juliet (I don't hit one single note), Boys Do Fall In Love
Sandra - Little Girl, Hiroshima, Heaven Can Wait, In The Heat Of The Night, Secret Land, Midnight Man
Heart - These Dreams, Alone
a-ha - The Sun Always Shines On T.V., Take On Me
Alphaville - Sounds Like A Melody, Big In Japan, Dance With Me
ATEEZ - Say My Name, Answer, Inception, Fireworks
B.I - illa illa
BTOB - 신바람
DKB - Still
MAMAMOO - gogobebe
NATURE - Girls
OnlyOneOf - Libido
Pentagon - Do or Not
TWICE - Alcohol-Free, Cry For Me, Hell in Heaven
TXT - 0X1 = Lovesong (I Know I Love You)
I think that's enough. xDD
32. When was the last time you cried when listening to a song, if ever?
I shed some tears while listening to B.I - illa illa, but the last time I really cried was when I listened to Jeong Eunji's 'AWay'.
37. If you could travel in time and go to a concert of an artist who’s no longer alive or a band that’s no longer together, who would you choose?
My biggest priority would be to go back to see the Bee Gees live once. Best would be their concert in Las Vegas 1997, the played so many great songs there. ♥
I also would like to see disbanded groups like アンド AND -Eccentric Agent-, ScReW and MEJIBRAY.
40. Which was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
I have to take out the organization of nearly every concert because it was so awful that it damaged my mood before the concert even started. But I am still not sure if I enjoyed Pentagon, GOT7 or SF9 more, but yeah one of them.
47. Is there an artist you used to dislike but learned to like because of a friend’s influence?
Not particulary dislike, but I wasn't and still ain't much of a fan when it comes to hip-hop, but thanks to you I at least like some songs of artists like pH-1 or Sik-K.
48. Who’s an artist you think it’s criminally underrated and deserves more recognition?
To name a few: LABOUM, OnlyOneOf, Purple Rain, Shaun, Cross Gene, DKB, NATURE, NOIR
49. Is there a cover you like more than the original version?
Heart - Alone (Orginial song by i-Ten)
51. Is there an artist you used to love as a child/teenager and still likes, even if you don’t listen to them as much?
Owl City
53. Is there a song you hated the first time you listened to but then loved after listening to it more times?
There a plenty of songs I used to hate but I don’t love any of them. I either tolerate them, consider them alright or just like them.
57. [Send me a color and I'll tell you the first song it reminded me of.]
->💚 YooA - Bon Voyage (I don’t know why, maybe because there is so much nature in the MV); Pentagon - Naughty Boy
58. [Send me a song and I'll tell you the colors it made me think of, without looking at cover arts or music videos.] *Bonus: if you like making palettes, make one based on the song! -> Pentagon - Do or Not + OOO - Libido (I know you love this song :D)
Pentagon - Do or Not -> makes me think of rose, pink and red colors
OnlyOneOf - Libido -> makes me think of black, white and blue (you are lucky I know who you mean with OOO xDD)
61. [Make me choose between two artists/songs/albums.] -> VIXX vs. Ateez + OOO vs. Oh my Girl
VIXX vs. ATEEZ -> If you would have asked me 2 years ago I definitely would have said VIXX and even though I love VIXX and they’ll always have a special place in my heart, there is no VIXX without Hongbin for me, so I say ATEEZ.
OnlyOneOf vs. Oh My Girl -> That’s mean. Basically super cool vs. super cute, but I take OnlyOneOf.
63. Do you prefer live recordings or studio recordings?
Live recordings sure have their own charm. To see how the artists performs live and if they sound like on the CDs, but I prefer studio recordings due to clean sound of the music.
65. Are there any songs you know the entire lyrics by heart?
Bee Gees - Closer Than Close, You Win Again, Alone, For Whom The Bell Tolls
Sandra - In The Heat Of The Night, Little Girl
a-ha - The Sun Always Shines On T.V.
Alphaville - Big In Japan
Robin Gibb - Another Lonely Night In New York, Boys Do Fall In Love
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Nature - Girls
Heart - Alone

Ma'am do you have recs for grunge artists 👀
hell yeah i do (17 yr old me is jumping for joy that someone actually wants to talk about grunge music).
hole - mostly known for being courtney love’s band, and my personal favourite band. they made really good music, but are criminally underrated due to ppl dismissing them bc of courtney’s personal dramas. can’t name my favourite songs by them bc i’d be here all night listing off their entire discography, so i’ll just recommend their most famous songs, which are: doll parts, violet, miss world, awful, celebrity skin, jennifer’s body (the movie jennifer’s body was inspired by this song), asking for it, burn black, teenage whore and plump (there are so many more hole songs i’d like to include but i’m trying to keep this succinct).
babes in toyland - were a very influential band on female-fronted grunge bands and riot grrl bands. have similar themes and aesthetics to hole, due to courtney love being best friends and room mates with babes in toyland’s lead singer kat bjelland in the 80s (kat was the one who taught courtney how to play the guitar and at one point they made a demo tape together). my favorite songs by them are: angel hair, bluebell, quiet room, won’t tell, he’s my thing, handsome and gretal, ariel, bruise violet and sweet 69.
jack off jill - another female band. their music sounds like if you combined grunge with emo. my favourite songs by them are: angels fuck devils kiss, when i am queen, clear hearts grey flowers (also the name of one of their albums), underjoyed, surgery, my cat, vivica, witch hunt, strawberry gashes and fear of dying.
pearl jam - one of the big four bands of the seattle grunge scene. known for playing in a lot of large arenas. their singer, eddie vedder, is famous for mumbling the lyrics. my favorite pearl jam song is jeremy. other notable songs include: love boat captain, even flow, once, alive, black, better man, sad, light years, dirty frank, blood, and spin the black circle.
soundgarden - another of the big four seattle bands. were influenced by many different genres, including metal and middle eastern music. their most famous song is black hole sun. other songs include: spoonman, jesus christ pose, rusty cage, let me drown, my wave, outshined, gun, and 4th of july.
alice in chains - very influential on the grunge genre. made rather dark and gloomy music. their most iconic songs are: dirt, man in the box, would, rooster, no excuses, them bones, dam that river, junkhead, untitled, and bleed the freak.
nirvana - you definitely know who nirvana are. they have a reputation for writing depressing music due to their lead singer's suicide, but they also made a lot of upbeat music. i’m just gonna name some of my fave lesser known nirvana songs, bc you probably already know their most famous songs: frances farmer will have her revenge on seattle, on a plain, mexican seafood, hairspray queen, pennyroyal tea, territorial pissings, negative creep, dive, stain, where did you sleep last night, sliver, turnaround, breed, polly new wave, tourette's, old age, radio friendly unit shifter and aneurysm.
L7 - a popular female grunge band. had a lot of overlap with the riot grrl scene. known for organizing the first rock for choice benefit concert and for lead singer donita sparks throwing her used tampon into the audience when they performed at reading festival. their most famous song is pretend we're dead, which i think is probably the most 90s song ever. other songs include: shitlist, wargasm, everglade, uncle bob, and talk box.
there are more, but I'm going to leave it here. if you ever get into grunge music I'm sure you'll eventually encounter the other bands, like the melvins, tad, mudhoney, etc.

Hi!! Robron Secret Santa here! ❄️🌲☃️ I hope you are having a great day! I wanted to ask a few questions so I could get you know you better. What is your favorite color/s? Do you have a favorite quote or song? What are your top 10 robron scenes? Is there anything you really want to see on your gift? I’m so excited I got you and Merry Christmas!!
Hello my darling Secret Santa!!! It is nice to meet you (sort of)!!! And afsdghhhdgfkkh you are excited to get little old me??? I am intrigued! And happy because you are so sweet, Secret Santa
favourite colours - reds, purples, blues, silver, black. actually i like any colours except browns and greys. but reds, purples and blues are my favourites.
favourite song - too many! but i’m kind of obsessed with “let me love you” by rita ora because it just. SCREAMS. affair era robron (and i love the affair era, even though i gather a lot of people don’t?? i just. i love how tropey it is. GLORIOUS.) also anything by ariana grande or halsey. if you wanted to go down the angsty route, her ‘badlands’ album is full of beautiful lyrics that i just love, and may speak to your inspiration ;)
top 10 robron scenes - why are you doing this to me, secret santa? why?
1. technically not a robron scene because robert isn’t even in it, but i love the conversation aaron has with paddy where he admits he loves robert and confesses who he’s really been seeing, or his relationship status anyway. the raw honesty in that scene from someone who is usually so guarded is heartbreaking…and sweet.
2. the deleted watch scene from the wedding 2.0. IT’S ADORABLE.
3. literally any time they refer to each with the other’s last name. i melt inside every time they do their “mr dingle/mr sugden” bit. IT’S TOO CUTE.
4. the reunion 2.0 from earlier this year. enough said.
5 the christmas/prison goodbye from 2016. i bawled my fucking eyes out and was not okay for several hours (days). the forehead touch, which wasn’t even scripted, danny and ryan just did that for the hell of it.
6. the gordon abuse reveal scene. robert’s dawning horror as he realizes what aaron is telling him, and how aaron is so brave and strong even though he’s going to pieces and robert just sits there and listens, without judging, without passing any comments, just letting him tell his story. it’s hard to watch, but it’s so well done and, imo, underrated.
7. let’s add onto that and go with that whole stretch of episodes where aaron falls ill after getting sepsis from an infected self-inflicted injury and robert is the one who rushes him to hospital and gets him help. he didn’t have to, but he did. he looked after him while he was sick, was genuinely worried about him, and told the reception nurse aaron was his boyfriend just so he could see him and make sure for himself that he was alright.
8. the lakeside scene when we meet liv for the first time and robert tells him he’ll wait for aaron, as long as he needs him to, so that he can heal and move on, and when he’s ready he’ll be waiting with open arms for him again
9. that scene where aaron walks in on liv chasing robert around the mill with a saucepan, because it’s hilarious
10. SSW where they’re both on the verge of drowning and they both use their last few breaths to tell the other to save themselves and go - but refuse, because if they’re going to die, they are dying together dammit, no-one is getting left behind
These are just off the top of my head!!! But I hope that’s given you some things to get started :) I’m really looking forward to getting my gift from you!!

Letters To The Zodiac Signs
Aries: I envy you. I envy your courage, your stupidity and your childishness. Maybe you’re asking “Why?” Well, wouldn’t it be beautiful if we were all children at heart, like you? Like seeing things so horrible yet still making corny jokes? Like telling your feelings, like running until your feet hurt? Like purity, like innocence mixed with knowledge? You have experienced the world, you have experienced life. And yet, you still stand here. Brave and tall. As if to say “I am not afraid of life. I am not afraid to live.”
Taurus: I will always associate you with flowers and colours. With lilies and roses and blood oranges. I will always associate you with fruit and red-green-yellow. We will speak in colours, talk in words others won’t understand. With red-grey sand and blue-green eyes. An encouraging nod, a hug with clasping hands. Words left unspoken simply ‘cause they were never meant to be said, they were meant to be. They were meant to be. Plucking petals like a grade schooler playing games about love. Holding a magnifying glass over your head, and I could not find a flaw. I just saw you. I saw you.
Gemini: While you drink in the melodies of everyone’s laughter. The ghosts find a new home inside your body. A facade of performance, masking out true emotions. While the hallways turn vacant and your ghosts shut the doors. The voices leave the room empty, the emptiness in your chest weighing like a brick worth thousands of golden bricks. I cannot put a price on your heart, I don’t know its colours. I don’t know its voice. Or the three albums you have on repeat over the summer, or the songs you dance to at night. Simply because you are you, unique, mysterious and beautiful.
Cancer: You are a puzzle and I am not your missing peace, I don’t own it. But you do. You make up your own being. Maybe you left it in your back pocket, next to the shattered dreams or under the pillars you build when you were eight years old. The ones you made to put your broken home on, searching for stability in broken mirrors. I will linger in my map of you and I swear that even when I get back it leads back to you. It always leads back to you. To that little house with orange paint on the walls from ten years ago. With the nicotine sticking to a once white ceiling and some kind of animals running around. The dusty photographs will still stand on the desk. You will still sit on that one spot, with teary eyes and crossed legs. And you will still be beautiful.
Leo: I could never describe your beauty. Your beauty cannot be multiplied, it can only be remembered, treasured, envied, appreciated or regretted. And by remembered I mean that when you feel like you are just another extra in someone’s life that they will mention you to their parents during dinner. They will talk about your shining personality and sparkling eyes. By treasured I am talking about that “the one” experience which you deserve. A treasure filled with all things unique and irreplaceable. One that’s filled with happiness. By envied I am talking about the eyes you do not see, or do not wish to see. Or don’t notice. You stand out in a crowd, especially when you don’t think you are. By appreciated I am talking about the ones who see your true you, your tangled hair and cracked lips. The ones who still stay even through the bad times. By regretted I am talking about the people who did not see your beauty until you blossomed. I understand why you find cocoons beautiful now, and how you like caterpillars just as much as butterflies.
Virgo: Snow litters on untouched skin. Sun rains through the cracks of the darkness even where you hide. I could hear you talking every day. Forever. With delicate fingers and blushed cheeks. Your hair untamed and your fingers bruised to the bone. Delicately logical. The edges of the leafs of oak trees remind me of your way of thinking. The overhang reminds me of your mind. Which casts shadows over the villagers in the houses you build where colourless souls reside. You are so often in debate with your own head, at war with your own body. Never at peace, always restless. Always asking, “but why?” I don’t know. You like it, don’t you? Parading around in your own world? Sweet little soul in a world full of pain.
Libra: The bell of the church echoed through your head a little longer than it should’ve. It never was nice. We never played nice. We talked until our lips were dry and I stayed home when you were out cold. But memories don’t matter anymore do they darling? In this orchestra of harmonious noises where you are the leader of everything nothing can hurt you. I don’t know, I don’t know. And goddamnit I know you will try to push everything on yourself again. You always do. That’s just how you work. Why don’t you warm your hands on your own body for once? You don’t need another person to feel like you’re loved, you only need one. One whole, full, true person.
Scorpio: Everything seems darker these days. Charcoal coloured clouds are a daily thing. And your arms are always covered up along with your legs. Even in the summer the nights don’t seem as enchanting. Not when small bruises shaped like the bumps of your knuckles litter on your thighs. Self destructive lullabies, “I just need a friend, for once in my life.” A desire for someone to stay ripped from your lips. So I stayed by your side wondering, if you wanted me to stay or needed me to stay. Of course I could say you remind me of scarlet blood and bathroom tiles. But you also remind of the river I used to play in when I was nine. You also remind me of the necklace I got when my grandmother passed away. You remind me of memories, the good, the bad, the in-between. You remind me of life. Please keep on living.
Sagittarius: The reason that I didn’t cry when you left was because crying means letting go, or so you said. And I don’t want to let you go. I want you to be a part of me, forever. But I can’t do that, you would rot in the hell hole that is my mind. I can’t put you through more cruelty. I hate how I am the reason you cry on bad nights, do you still wonder if I miss you? I do. I do. I do. Regret was stronger than appreciation. But you’re so fucking strong. Your eyes still shine even when you’re sad. You think no one likes you yet you know that’s not true. You’re the reason I am alive. You let me experience pain, beauty, emotion. You let me live. You’re so much more than enough, sometimes I can’t even handle who you are. You are dazzling. But you could never control your heart, it always wandered over the streets of other people’s bodies.
Capricorn: When the sun sets over mountains and the houses made of glass shatter I will still see your name in the sky in neon lights. The little bugs in our home always wanted to be friends with you. They always say on the tip of your nose with gentle smiles. I never envied you, I wish I treasured you. You are so simplistic and nice. Nice. Too underrated for your own good, no? Aren’t we all. Your hands will still be remembered by those you touched. You always leave some kind of mark that they don’t want to wash off. You have that affect on people. You make them drown their thoughts and hold their breath when you walk into a room. You are an old soul, you know. Why? You just do. Because you’re you. And nothing can change that or the late nights, the slowness or the fastness in your walk doesn’t matter for the right people. They will walk for you until they have blathers on their toes. If they don’t you know what to do.
Aquarius: Swirls of icy wind are always your accomplice. Your cold, and beautiful; like snow. The wires always stick to your senses, they get stuck in between your backbone. They twist around your spine and plug into the back of your brain. You let other people control you like you’re a mindless puppet. I think the wires got the best of you. Whenever you speak your mind it says something beautiful and unique. You are original, not ordinary. I am sorry they teach you that being unique is bad and that you have to fit into this ‘ordinary’ world as an ‘ordinary’ person. Nothing is ordinary about you, not even your name. Your name says who you are as a person, if someone asks me to define you I will simply say your name, the definition of your personality is your name. Because your name is unique and so is your personality. Don’t let other people control you.
Pisces: The imaginary butterflies with the raven black wings told me about you. They tell me that your head is in a universe they have never seen, with all things beautiful and all things bad. They see you crying with your knees tugged up sometimes, hands in your hair as you hide beneath sheets of darkness. You write poetry with the blood in the sink and make galaxies with the stars you find inside other people their eyes. A gentle smile always embraces your lips, “So happy, yet so sad” they say. A mask is something you believe is beautiful, but I believe you are beautiful. The real you. Not the you who cautiously walks over this realm of sadness. Your moonlit hair is so silky, your sunlit eyes are so sad. Chin up little soldier.

Reputation (almost) 3 months later thoughts.
For those of you who have missed the other posts of these, I’m basically mapping out my every thought on the album and songs as time passes to compare with 1989 which I overhyped only to admit a few months after that it wasn’t that great. I’ve done one the day Reputation was released, along with one and two months thought posts and plan to do this one, a seven month one (the tour starts just before then if you’re wondering why I’m doing it at seven months over six months), a one year one and dependant on if TS7 comes out in 2019 or not, a two year or one week before TS7 one. Idealistically I would be doing this post right on three months, but with university starting up again on the 12th, I found it best to do it now while I have the time to fully go into everything. So with that in mind, lets get into it.
Album as a whole + Grammys drama: I’m going to be honest, I don’t listen to this album from start to end anymore. Like with the exception of End Game and Look What You Made Me Do, I listen to all the songs individually all the time, but I just don’t find myself inclined to sit down and listen to it in “order” (I’ve mentioned in pasts posts how I feel the order of the songs is wrong for the story she’s trying to tell) anymore. I also feel like so many people objectively do not get this album, including a lot of fans. Like so many people have looked at the surface of certain songs (So It Goes, Delicate and Gorgeous are the main ones to come to mind) and made judgements and feelings off that, most of which completely contradict what the song is actually saying. Some of it even feels deliberate to copy the harmful mindset of “Taylor’s only ever happy now!!!!” that the 1989 era had which is extremely frustrating. As a somewhat related side note, all your alcoholism jokes you make about this album are not funny. They are disrespectful and even if they weren’t, are just cringey, so if that could stop, I for one would be happy. In saying all of this, so far Reputation along with What If Nothing by Walk The Moon would still be my top picks for album of the year at next year’s grammys. I say so far because there was a good month or so where I thought Divide was album of the year last period and look how quickly that changed when Melodrama came out. But here’s where part of my issue lays with the grammys scapegoating Taylor like they did (along with the obviously bigger issue of sexism/racism shown with the “step up” comment and lack of diverse winners this year). Reputation deserves to win awards on its own and I truly believe it would have regardless, but now I’m just going to be guessing how much of it is legitimate and how much was the grammys “fixing” a problem they created, and that’s just a shitty feeling to be honest.
Ready For It: I know we’ve seen live performances of this song already, but I’m still so excited to see this live. Like I still legitimately adore this song and listen to it at least daily. And I mean it’s going to be hype as hell on tour as the opener.
End Game: My one regret on not holding off on the two month post? The music video for this dropped like a day later. I mean I don’t have much to say, but I would have rather it just all go in one post seeing as I haven’t listened to the song outside that all month. Long story short, the video was lacklustre. Basically just the 22 video with more special effects and less relatability.... Not that I’m surprised. That’s all Joseph Khan seems to know how to do. I mean every video this era has basically just copied one of Taylor’s old ones idea wise and added more special effects. I stand by the fact that this means that even without the crappy stuff he’s done, musically he should have been left behind with the 1989 era. Hopefully the fans pick up on his reused tricks soon and stop watching the music videos so Taylor gets the hint, but I doubt it. All up, the only worthwhile moments for me in the video was Sweeran, the animals and the rainbow dress. Hell, as much as I don’t like her, I’m kinda sad Katy wasn’t in the video now, because along with killing their stupid feud, at least it would have been a moment of surprise and interest in the video, even if only temporary.
I Did Something Bad: So the most interaction I have had with this song this month is Swifties using the first line with that attention seeking picture Kim put up and really all I gotta say is why? Why give her the time of day? I mean do you really think that she’d be doing shit like that if it didn’t get a reaction? Just ignore her to be honest. Taylor’s learned to do that, it’s about time we did too.
Don’t Blame Me: The more I listen to this song, the more I realise that it’s probably not going to be the aerial act on tour and Look What You Made Me Do is and the more I get sad. That’s really all I have to say about it.
Delicate: As I mentioned earlier, people misinterpret this song so badly. Like they see some of the anxiety but brush it off as a cute song about being in that grey area between friends and a relationship. This song is not meant to be cute. It’s extremely sad and filled with a lot of low self esteem and anxiety. When she asks “Do the girls back home touch you like I do?” it’s basically saying “I don’t have the self esteem to feel like I have anything but sex. Please tell me that no one else can give you that, because if they can, why would you stay?”. The song is also filled with the fear that she thinks she’s way deeper in this than he is and wanting to take things to the next level but having anxiety about actually talking to him about it. And as someone who has been there, done that, that’s part of the reason I love this song so much. It’s complex and relatable and I love it.
Look What You Made Me Do: To be honest, I haven’t heard this once since the last post.
So It Goes: Yet another song people only look skin deep at. Like this song is filled with anxiety, insecurities, fear, issues with object permanence and more, and yet all people see is a sex song. I also fear daily that this is not going to make it on the tour set list because you all sleep on it.
Gorgeous: Out of all the songs that are misinterpreted on this album, this song has it the worst. And it has it the worst because people misinterpreting it takes away all the meaning from it. What makes this song sad isn’t that she cheats, because she doesn’t (”Unless you want to come along” is a thought), it’s the fact she realises she deserves better but DOESN’T go for it. Her doing better/having a ‘bad’ moral sense is the thing that she “can’t have” because she chose to stay faithful rather than do what’s right for herself.
Getaway Car: I feel like everything I need to say about this song has been really. Like all up it’s just a really great song that is close to my heart.
King Of My Heart: I’m not going to lie, I’ve said so much about the second half of the album in my past posts that really, there’s not much more to say. They’re all good to amazing songs. This is especially the case for this song.
Dancing With Our Hands Tied: So somehow I’ve never said it despite thinking it all the time (along with most the rest of the fandom tbh) but this song is such a lgbt+ song and I love it. I will say though, I hate how the fandom acts as if it’s the most underrated song on this album when you only need to go into the tags to see that all the posts are either love for it or “Why isn’t it more appreciated?” posts.
Dress: I still think this song is overrated by the fandom, but I must admit I have started listening to it more again recently. It’s arguable that this song is also super misrepresented seeing as people see it as the sex song when it’s so much more intimate than that.
This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things: I don’t really have anything more to say about this song either right now.
Call It What You Want: I love this song so much. I say that every time but it’s true. The amount of growth and self + recognising others’ love it has in it is just beautiful and I love it. As I have said in the past, it will probably always be one of Taylor’s best songs in my opinion.
New Years Day: This song is at it’s best late at night to be honest. The calmness of it all is just beautiful and while I don’t listen to it nearly as much as I should, the times I do are just beautiful and warm and it’s still the best way to end this album.
