The task was made a little easier as we do our charts on the number of plays throughout the year and we throw in some fancy divisors just to make things fair on those that come to us later in the year. Usually we split everything into Blues and Non Blues but after a discussion last year with one of our Twitter followers we have decided to split the Non Blues chart into #Americana and #Rock. We've also renamed our categories as Blues+, Americana+ and Rock+ to incorporate other genres...
