i was today years old when i realized that quattro plays a gimmick puppet deck not only because it’s funstuff to beat the shit out of your opponents with a pile of creepy, uncanny garbage, but also because tron has been manipulating him around since day one without ever intending to really appreciate his son and quattro must feel a lot like these dejected, dysfunctional puppets that have been pulled by the strings until someone tossed them away when they were of no further use……. and then there’s destiny leo, his best ace with the implied power of controlling destiny, the very thing quattro lacks for himself — but he can’t attain it even in that way because shark proves more capable still, which overall really sucks.

also i just googled it and gimmick literally means “a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or trade”, which possibly refers to both quattro being a popular pro duelist with a lot of fans (probably attracted to his vicious playstyle/deck) and him serving as literal bait to influence shark the way tron saw fit with the whole tournament disqualification and then rio.

i’m usually far from emphatizing with him, but that’s all just plain sad.

aaaaaaa hello! So this is from Mindhive and boy is Mindhive a ride. Still working out a lot of things about it, but also it's 80k long, so there's a lot of thoughts to choose from. Hmmmmm.

More context about the implants! But not all of the context, hehehe;

~ The trial volunteers do not go into the trial with any idea of what the implant actually does. It's only specified to be a "mental enhancement." Within the context of the world of MH, this means that most trial volunteers are going in assuming that it's going to be another failed attempt at a "general intelligence enhancement."

~ We say "another failed attempt" because the tech industry in MH has been in a hype cycle for "we're going to use science to enhance IQ!" for a while. But "intelligence" is complicated, and brains are complicated, and there's no magic bullet to "enhance" these things.

~ (Can you tell that the tech industry in MH is prone to eugenic lines of thinking and hype cycles for things that will never pan out for practical reasons? Real life is an unfortunately great source of inspiration for dystopia.)

~ But the implant is not an intelligence enhancement.

~ It could be considered a communication enhancement. If you've read the summary, you know one of the things it is capable of!

~ Hooray telepathy : D

~ It's intended to work in concert with a different type of technology, known as an EIS - an Emotive Intelligence System. Basically, a classic sci-fi AI, but under a new name because MH takes place in the future and in my present the tech industry has made the term "AI" into a marketing buzzword associated with art theft and scams.

~ The ideal EIS for this set-up has enough interpersonal skills to communicate with contractors, but only enough interest in workers to maintain Baseline Aliveness.

~ So, not V.E.R.T.I.G.O, who has a near-anthropologist curiosity about people, and a firm desire to provide them with a decent quality of life whenever possible. : (

~ What does this add up to? Not the horrors, of course, I am sure that the way these ideas click together have nothing to do with the way that corporations approach labor costs, working conditions, and bodily autonomy. : )

Aaaaaaaah, THANK YOU! I'm so so happy to be back to writing, because editing was boring as feck, lemme tell you! I'm super nervous about getting back into smut writing, so I figure I'll start safe and get the baby!Babey stuff outta the way first.

I've learnt a lot from the plagiarism stuff, I guess, so I hope that I'll be more resilient in future when dealing with it. I'd like to hope that there'll be no more of it, but I think it'd be unrealistic to expect that. Still pretty disappointed by that one individual's reaction to my attempts at a peaceful resolution, but I've taken steps to safeguard as much of my content as possible so at the very least, people will have to work for it to steal, lol. In essence, I've locked the copy-paste function on AO3 and on my Tumblr site, though I'm sure there are workarounds for this. But anyone who goes to that level of effort would be INSANE, ahahaha. Sucks that I had to do this at all, but I'll do what I have to. I'm not unreasonable; similar tropes and stuff is something I don't mind nor can I ever feasibly claim (and furthermore, nor would I). Given that the premise is generic as hell, I'm sure I'm only one of many MANY MANY people who have written/will end up writing a Reader/OC who is Rhae's little sis and ends up bangin' Daemon. It's when people a) literally word-for-word copy entire sections of my stuff and b) refuse to give credit/accept culpability for this that I get angry.

I will most definitely make sure you are added to the taglist if you're not already! Aaaah, can't believe people want to read this bullshit, lol, because there's no funstuff in it, just the ramblings of a weirdo pretending to be a child. I literally wrote a wholeass response to this n it got blasted outta existence so now i gotta rewrite it, going to EXPLODE!!!

So Jackal is an old fashioned guy and keeps all his info in physical copies. Its not like when he started out he had a notes app to put shit in unfortunately. After he had to like rapid speed burn and destroy all his files when he fled Chicago, Jackal started to keep everything in code. Its mainly a combination of shorthand, shitasss handwriting, and just illegable bullshit, but it works.

When it comes to gathering information, Jackal is again, old fashioned kinda guy. He cant do any cool hacker shit like Joy, but he has connections. He loves to do everything by hand on the ground, and that means undercover infiltrations, disguises, and all that funstuff. Jackal is an expert at putting up metaphorical masks, so much so that he loses who he rlly is.

A classic way he gathered info back in the day, was simply by mingling and listening. He worked at Casinos back in Vegas as Bartenders and Blackjack dealers. It's due to his reputation as a blackjack dealer informant that he earned one of his many aliases, The Jack of Clubs. (This being a bit of a reference to the Myth of the origin of the name Blackjack, and also tying into how people would subtly contact him for information through gambling)

He isn't a huge fan of it, but isnt against the classic honeypot as well. Jackal sometimes misses being a fair skinned young woman because this shit was so much easier back then. He does sex favors sometimes to get info, but draws the line at his own body. He refuses to let others touch him in that manner.

When it comes to his relations with the payday gang, I don't have thought out stuff on all of them, but he is rather close with Houston, Bonnie, and John Wick!

Bonnie and him are definately gambling buddies, and while she can drink him under the table, it's fun to get shitfaced and play cards, roping everyone else in along with them.

Houston and Jackal had a rough relationship at first, because of course neither knew the other existed despite being important people in dallas's life. Houston is the reason Jackal tells his family he's alive, because the man gets VERY pissed learning he let them believe he was dead for 15+ Years. He dealt with the same thing afterall.

And WICK! Unlikely friends, but Wick is a sensitive guy and he very much is the one who helps Jackal through his emotional shit with Dallas. He gives actually good and thoughtful advice unlike Bonnie ("If he wasnt our chief I'd say you gut the man."). John has met and lost the love of his life, and knows how badly That hurts, so he doenst want Jackal to go through that same thing. He still has a chance. In general John n Jackal are just very chill dudes together.

Other than those guys he also is friends with Vlad and Sydney, and Sydney drags him along places with her and the lil freak squad as “the chaperone”. Helps him get outta his shell a bunch after joining the gang.

As to Jackal’s hawaiian shirt collection? Atleast seven. Every new hawaiian shirt I get, he also gets. He has more than just those though. Plenty of other obscene loud n horrid button ups. He started getting them when he played clueless tourist in vegas but realised very fast how much he unironically loves them.

We have been having some thoughts earlier today about our current difficulties with plurality and I think we wanna try and write them out with some detail here.

I - primary front - have some difficulties switching out. Early on we were better at switching than now, partially because people aren’t so interesting in getting to front and partly because we have Issues.

I have trouble Doing Stuff and have historically put pressure on myself to Do Stuff, and we’re recently trying to shift away from that but it’s pretty hard when there are natural pressures - we want our dishes washed, so we have to wash them. We don’t want to drive illegally or unsafely or get a fine, so we have to pass our WoF. We want to pass our course so we have to do the work, etc etc.

It meant if someone else came up to front, they’d have more ability to do stuff than I had. This often meant I’d push them into doing chores, ‘cause now we (’we’) finally have the Go to do them. This meant they often did chores before funstuff or instead of funstuff, or they’d be bored and I’d talk them into doing chores instead. They did sometimes get to do funstuff, but it wasn’t enough. Often I’d promise them funstuff time then it wouldn’t happen ‘cause I hadn’t done chorestuff and that was a priority. So there were a lot of broken promises for a while, which lead into “Okay I will keep that desire in mind, I cannot promise anything because you’ve seen how that goes, I know it sucks, I am doing my best, I know my best sucks and I appreciate how patient y’all are with me, and it’s still my best and I can’t do better right now.”

Which was kind of a pathetic attitude, but a really fucking hard one to change, ‘cause I definitely want to be optimistic and hopeful, but also realistic.

I also have difficulty with others fronting around people, because I’d keep wanting to get them to say things the way I would, or it was really awkward because they wouldn’t have much to talk about - they’d be asked about our study and I’d take back over to talk about it ‘cause that’s my thing, for example.

Just... I’d generally micromanage them and hold them to expectations I was unable to hold myself to, and generally made fronting suck for them.

Which sucks, because I *really* need their support, I can’t do this on my own, and I don’t want to.

It’s gotten to the point where occasionally others will slide in front and literally do their fucking best to hide from me - I have a bit of anxiety over not being here or in control or whatever, so as soon as I know the name of the person in front, I end up (accidentally!) shoving them out the way.

Also not good for positive relationships with my headmates.

Also not good is that I have a bit of internal demand avoidance (occasionally it presents to immediate external demands, but usually someone asking or telling us to do something is fine.) So it means I’m avoidant of the pressure I put on myself to do stuff, and quite often if a headmate is like “hey it might be time to do xyz important thing” I get super fucking resistant.

I struggle to interact with them in the innerworld - first there’s the “having to start the task of going in”, then like... I can inititate social interaction if I have a specific purpose for it, and use that to do more socialisation, but I struggle if the only purpose is social. So going into the innerworld frequently feels super aimless, and then I have to arbitrarily pick who to talk to, find them, and somehow carry on a conversation that starts without a specific purpose. It just... doesn’t super work. Innerworld is also, I realised today, starting to feel like Their Space and not Our Space, and even though I technically have a building in it that is Mine, it somehow doesn’t feel Mine enough for me to like.. want to go there? We might try and replace it with a place I have already lived in previously, that might make it feel more like home.

(And then to reiterate people’s disinterest in hanging near front, because I’m a pain to deal with, means they rarely come here to chat.)

So yeah, I wanna build up more familiarity / comfort / trust with my headmates, but it’s quite difficult due to them having a layer of disinterest in putting effort in based on past experiences, and my difficulty initiating / my anxieties around fronting make it harder on my end, too.

I know theoretically what we ought to do, but what was that old forum signature? “in theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.”

Yeah.

So, to summarise:

I don’t trust them in front and shove them out, due to my own anxieties

It’s those I don’t know that occasionally sneak in front and try to hide their presence from me, because if I know them I will shove them out by accident

I have both anxieties and difficulty initiating / making arbitrary decisions which reduce my ability to socialise and try to spend time with them

My repeated shoving them out, micromanaging their front time, demand avoidance, and breaking promises has made them disinterested in hanging out near front / interacting with me

But hey, we’ve managed to actually pull apart and clarify the difficulties we’re having in a way we haven’t before, so I’m hoping that’s going to help take the next step toward improvement, toward a more cohesive group.

....Unfortunately we’re now sitting here feeling a bit worried / stressed / overwhelmed / messy about decisions and what to do now / after we’ve eaten this bowl of food.

Admittedly that feeling does tend to come up worst when we’re hungry, so hopefully eating will help. Someone’s telling me that what we do after eating this is eat more.

We do have some chores to do (clean the cat litter box, mainly, and brush our teeth before bed.)

We would like to do something fun like play Heroes 3 (we usually do that on Saturdays but missed last week.)

We would also like to figure out tomorrow (please be errands tomorrow and not work!!) including, ideally, a bit more thought tonight around food and budgety stuff before we go to the shops again. That’s really mentally arduous and time-consuming, though, and I don’t think we’d manage that AND games tonight, given it’s already 4pm.

Heeres Jhames the conqueror! Or as he really prefers to be called "Jim." So at the end of ROTT where Jim uses the time stone something interrupted the process he doesn't know what it was but it fast tiny fast and blue and had a trail behind it like how the trollhunter amulet had when it teleported (wonder why?)

So after that whole thing Jim gets a rude awakening when all of a sudden he sees that he's not in his bedroom like planned but instead he's in the top part of the bridge above the entrance to the canal and to his horror when he looks at himself horrified to see that he's in his beast form and he's in a similar outfit to Bular and theres a dead body next to him that's right in the sunlight but it isn't kanjigar, it's Nomura.

So after that heart attack Jim tries to think about what happened but then he sees shannon trying to bike to school because her mom would absolutely kill her for missing one day (I'll touch apon that funstuff later!) And he screams when the amulet calls for Shannon's name which scares the highschooler off because again he's a terrifying looking troll at the moment.

After a bit a panicked toby comes soaring down the canal calling for Jim which Jim accidentally replies to despite not wanting anybody to see and toby freaks out about Jim's new look but first he reveals that he has somehow turned into a changeling (Toby's in stricklers place as Arcadia oak Hugh's changeling) which is great.

So now Jim has to deal with keeping the previous timeline a secret while trying to fix the jumbled mess that is the new timeline while dealing with resisting the craving for human flesh, hating how he looks due to the whole gumgum thing and trying to go against his role as the gumgum prince or rather the lover of the gumgum queen, yep that's right in the fucked up mess Claire is now in gunmars place! And she's not happy about it!

I would even so make a update for my content: Next week im going back to work after the surgery on my knee. Im really cant wait for it. OK YA’LL so I dunno how many of the original Beast Wars Bed and Breakfast RP crew still follow me. I’m rewatching Beast Wars with my husband and it occurred to me that like. The actual forum on Fanfiction.net: 

was nuked in the middle of an arc because ff.net is a buggy piece of shit lmao

a LOT OF STUFF is just lost to my memory in general 

I want to do another music meme fanfic, but I want it to be 100 songs instead of the usual 10. The B&B never got an “epic” tier fanfic and I am feeling like I want to do one because I fear nothing and live to make myself suffer.

I also want to include EVERY character, if possible. Which is bad because I have shit memory.

It would be the usual short story format consisting of things that actually happenend in the forum with some liberties-- like interweaving an endgame scnerio where the crew does eventually go back to Cybertron. And causes absolute chaos. Friend destroying P.E.L.M. anyone? 

I can piece together a lot of the lore from the fanfics/fanart floating around, but getting actual information directly from you guys would be a huge help. 

I’m not starting this project anytime soon (I have another major fanfic in the works anyways aysdigusah) but I’m just... sort of information gathering. 

FOR EXAMPLE: I know Glassjaw was Skyfire’s dad, but I can’t remember for the life of me if he’s dead or still being held in P.E.L.M. and what he was doing lurking around there in the first place? I think he was a secret police service member looking into the dissapearances of the kids who went there? ALSO what were Soultail’s exact powers and what did Afzal transform into? Things like that is what I’m looking for.

Christine Anegelline Sung is an angel princess who loves to sing and make others happy. Her singing can even tame the most violent and suspicious of demons. She had it really rough when she was a teenager, both of her parents died, her ex-boyfriend who was an “angel” as well cheated on her and then she had enough. She told the Almighty she was leaving heaven and never coming back because she did not wish to live a life where she is used and didn’t want any foster parents. He ex tried to convince her to stay but she knew he was lying and left heaven to start a new life on earth. She became an opera singer and she was the head singer and the main star of the opera house and when she turned twenty she made her first friend and singing practice partner who happened to her hear her singing while walking in the woods to see who it was that was singing. Guess who.~ ;) (If you guessed it was Rebekah then you be correct.) {Moving on.}

When Christine sings golden musical notes appear behind her meaning she’s a very aw-inspiring beautiful singing voice and being an angel that all together speaks out for itself. She can White Magic or Holy Magic as the angels from heaven call them, she can even use elemental magic and use them on weapons that her friends use to gain the upper hand in battle if she ever gets into a battle but doing that will also drain her friends magical energy when they use it and not her own but her luckily she has a rare healing spell called Fully Restored Energy which is a spell that can heal physical damage, magicka and stamina at the same time making everyone in battle fully restored like it was just the beginning of the battle before the fight even started. Now that is a unique and super handy spell if I ever heard of one.

Christine can also cook, do some crafts, make clothes as a part-time job of course, but most of time she sings on her free time. {Go figure.} However what she didn’t know that one day she would fall in love with a Radio Demon. {Hint hint. ;)}

Ok, I am really fucking done and angry.

So, warning this will contain much cussing and angry thoughts and stuff including MY PRIVATE policy thoughts. If ya know better or if ya don’t agree...go to hell really, alongside with tumblr. Block me or whatever you wish, I write of what I see an’ feel about the situation as it struck me deeply and I am probably overreacting but I am not really open for the policy debates, you may hate me or whatever after what you read next, cause It won’t take long untill my year work would be deleted.

Ok, I have been active member of this small and cozy community o’ kinks for a couple o’ years by now, b4 I was only a silent spectator. I have been to a lot of different sites like FA or E621, or whatever, but NOWHERE ELSE I found such a wast, lovely and LOVING community as here on tumblr. Most of the sites ware just somehow unfit. Either to mild in general as DA, or too furry-focused as on FA, yet in fact they had ALOT of problems with the tagging system, which not allow all the users to find EXACTLY what they want. It was a real problem for meh as 99% of quality content on the kinks I am mostly focused are somehow FEMALE\TRANCE and I am focused only on MALE-MALE\MALE-HERM stuff, so it was pretty hard to find and it still is.

Now THIS is where a fucking discrimination starts. You have to DIG THROUGH TONNS OF SHIT to get just a scratch of the quality. No, I ain’t got nothing against fem or trance porn, I am indifferent to genders, but it just doesn’t turn me on as well. “-it’s not you, it’s me darli’n-” For some time I felt myself as a freak, cause I didn’t find any evidence there was enough people with the same kinks...until I found tumblr community.

That’s when I felt I was not a fucking retard any more. For me it was kinda relief to understand that there are more than 20 ppl in the world that like the same shit. 

As I felt the discrimination and terrible lack of the MALE content on the topic (for me it was never enough) after a while I started posting here some of my shits. And It was a surprise people actually liked it, cause I have the butthands and stuff...

And now... after only a year tumblr shuts the porn and kinks and ALL THE BASIC NUDITY down. Ok, I can !?understand!? for the porn, but plain nudity? LIKE WHY? DO YOU FUCKING KNOW THAT WHEN ARTIST TRAIN THEY FIRSTLY GET TO DRAW NUDE MODELS??!? 80% OF MEDIVAL ART WAS CONCERNED ABOUT NUDITY OR HALF-NUDITY?

Okay BUT NOT FUCKING OK AT ALL. I know pretty much artists and most of them have ever, POSTED NSFW content, weather it was warm-up skeches, some lovely porn, or just references. The ban will just swipe their works their labour and their WILL to create aon this platfor as it already did to me. Cause If ya think that screbbling is just funstuff... go to hell, and try making some on your own.

So much for Fucking US democracy they are to spread to the world. YES, I live in Russia, so what? They all speak about that ‘nasty Russian Kremlin censorship’... Know what, GO TO HELL, It is more freedom NOW in Russian internet  than on the tumblr, yes there is a shittish law...WHICH MAINLY DOESN‘T EVEN WORK PROBABLY, and it is focused on CHILD PORN, NOT ON GAY PORN, NOT ON NUDITY, BUT ON PAEDOPHILIA in da web. So Was also laughting out so hard when I got this news in my pocket. Millions of US citizens of the most ‘democratic’ country in the world, fighting for equal rights in the whole world can not protect one of the best and useful platforms, and MAKE IT EVEN WORSE by writing petitions and complaints on ceasing the bots, and naziz? And what they get? Everything wise-versa.

I came here to search for democracy and freedom of speech and creativity, AND WHAT I GET? I GET DESPERATE.

I GET DESPERATE, cause I put a lot of effort in this particular blog, for I am not really sociable person, and it is hard for me to open up my shit to anyone, so it was kinda hard decision to make this blog, and share all that kink shit I had with ya my lurvs and da world.

I really wanted to make it interesting, to put the best things i have and make here, and now it will all be FUCKING GONE, AND I WILL HAVE TO START ANEW BECAUSE IT WAS MY MANE BLOG.

I have No Idea where should I go, for Twitter format with text limitations is not suitable, as I sometimes publish small illustrated stories and add comments to my works.

FA is also not a good alternative for me as firstly I focus mostly on human stuff, and it tagging system sucks so hard I have no words to describe it. I have account there, but there will not be much as the site is thematic, and the community there is really small for human stuff.

DA aslo sucks in tagging and there are tonns of shit my works will probably drown in, so I have a doubt I should even try there.

The other sites seem lack of either content\members\functionality.

Recently I wanted to start another blog for my sfw wounded healing kink out here, after watching RDRII I felt I have an urge to share some, but now I think I Won’t do It here, not until I find a proper alternative, because the attitude of the tumbler owners to as at to fucking cattle is more than fucking disgusting.

Ah yeah and talking of Children, underrted stuff. whay sould WE bother of them not their parents? Didn’t I sign they my blog is for 18+ warning or smth?
