This morning we put my kitty, Simone, to sleep. She liked to browse tumblr with me, sitting on my chest while I was on my computer. Sometimes I'd search out kitty or bird videos for her, as a treat.
If y'all had been capable of looking back at her all these years, she would have looked like this:
She was an excellent kitty, and I loved her very much.
He came into our lives as an orphaned little ball of fluff in need of a forever home, and left us a home that is forever his. He was the purrsonification of comfort and love, willing and ready to follow me anywhere he saw me going, full of big purrs and cuddles, and always ready to groom his family with warm licks.
We will miss you. The world is made so much darker with your passing, and we must console ourselves with the knowledge you are beyond all suffering, and we have 14 wonderful years of you to hold onto. May this ensure that some small part of the internet remain forever Samwise.

He knew he was going to vomit, and he rushed to the kitchen linoleum to do so, because he knows it’s harder to clean up on the carpet.
This cat has observed us assure him that puke is okay, and proceed to diligently clean the carpet where he’s thrown up, and this afternoon, he decided “NOT TODAY” and dashed to the floor he knows only takes a moment to wipe up, puked and then was like “Cool we’re done.”
