Ghost Future Leonardo FAQ

(...I'll get a better header picture later. Maybe.)

Since I keep getting repeated questions, I've decided to make a FAQ where I can put all explanations to and link to it 👉👉

❓How do I keep Leo on top of my screen applications?

If you want him to stay on top of your windows, right click him, then go to Options - Preferences, then the Ghost(2) tab in the big menu that pops up. Check "Always Show Foreground" and that should do it.

❓Is there any screenshots on how I can install Leo?

Check out this post, it describes how to install Leo, screenshots included

❓Does Leo work on Chromebook, IOS, newer Android, etc? Will he ever?

No. I can't personally make him work on other platforms - unless the developers of the software (called SSP) will make SSP work on those platforms, Leo won't be able to work there.

❓How do I talk to Leo? How do I ask him a question? How do I pet him?

After installing Leo, if you want to interact with him just double click him - anywhere but his face. Right click on him calls more generic options menu.

To pet him, stroke the top of his head with your mouse, no clicking. If you want to know more general area, look at this gif here.

❓Download link for Leonardo doesn't seem to be working, what should I do?

Since the download link in my post leads to the website I made on neocities, sometimes website doesn't work, but you should be able to install Leo straight from the Google Drive here. You can see instructions linked in the second question of this post.

❓My data doesn't save - every time I open Leo, the introduction plays again, what should I do?

Most of the time it means that the files have been installed incorrectly, and folders are not where they should be.

Here's the files you should have in your 'ghost' folder (the location of which will most probably be your 'downloads' folder), and files you should have there

For the first 'ghost' folder, unless you installed desktop ghosts before you will only have 'Future Leonardo' and 'emily4' folders

Inside the 'shell' folder you should have 3 folders - 'Taileo', 'Neon Leon' and 'Chin Stripes', and they all contain lots of pngs and a couple of txt files

Don't worry about 'profile' folder, I believe it just saves the data of ghosts's coordinates on your screen in case you move them around

It might be a problem with a save file - just make sure you don't move 'aya5_variable.cfg' from the 'master' folder, because that's an actual file that contains all the save data.

❓Will you ever make more TMNT ghosts? Other brothers?

No. I have enough stuff I still wish to implement to Leo, and even if I made any other turtle, the overall experience wouldn't be much different. But don't let your dreams be dreams, you can always try and make your beloved turtle live on your desktop yourself! English Desktop Ghost devs community is so lovely, they're always happy to help both new and seasoned devs 💖✨

Happy Trick or Treat to @heckitall for @rottmnt-secret-gifting

Surprisingly, I was your partner. I'm sorry it arrives last minute. I genuinely thought the 5th is included in the deadline :,D.

I decided to keep my piece of art more simple with shadowing. A bit different from what I usually do. Shadows or light only casted to signal depth or something peculiarly shiny.

I also added 2 pngs as a reference to the multiple pngs added in the ROTTMNT series.

You wanted to see something creative from me? Oh buddy! You're in for something!

First a short run down on who the heck these kids dressed up as:

Raphy - He is Frankenstein. Him and Donnie tried to go for a brother-partner look. Donnie also stole an old sweater from Splinter, which is WAY too big for Raph. But it's perfectly fitting for a small Frankenstein. The patches on his shirt are red and blueish purple. They both worked on this shirt together, after all.

Donnie- he is the brains. The professor. The one who created the monster. Or... well... how he imagined him. He is a scientist.

Leo- A blue axolotl. I first thought of making him dress up as a pirate as a reference to him dressing up as a pirate in the series. Buuuuut I kinda wanted to bring the axolotl from your pfp into the artwork. And what character is the blue character? It's Leo! So Leo became a blue axolotl.

Mikey- Mikey wouldn't settle for 1 costume, so he wears 2... or 3? He is a dinosaur pirate! With a cape... so maybe he is a hero dinosaur pirate... The youngest had no spot-on plan for his costume and just went with EVERYTHING. I'd say he did well.

Now- What the hell is that monster of a pumpkin!

You see- Donnie found something interesting when getting Raphs sweater... an unknown shiny object. It was hidden within... He showed his treasure to his brothers, but Leo snatched it and fed it to the pumpkin they carved a day before.

The pumpkin came to live! Raph? Totally amazed! Leo? He figured the pumpkin responds best to candy. So he lures it with a basket filled with it. Mikey is in for a free ride on their pumpkin! And Donnie is very suspicious. Science says that pumpkins just don't come to live...

However, the boys would get in trouble towards the end of Halloween. They lost more and more control over their pumpkin. Splinter did save them in the end.

A quiet moment - Din Djarin

Pairing : Din Dajrin  x F!reader Summary: a short drabble about Din Djarin and domestic life. Takes place after Little Heart .

Warning : T to M theme? Nothing to serious really. Mostly soft fluffiness. 

A/N : I am making a whole series out of this “ A quiet moment “ for my favourite boys. All of them deserves some softness and fluff and domesticality 

MASTERLIST for the previous stories in this multi-part fic.

You slowly open your eyes. Noticing it’s still quite dark, not yet dawn. Reaching out to the otherside of the bed, searching for your riduur, instead you find it empty. 

Your clan of three decided to settle on Nevarro for the time being, taking up Karga’s offer of land and house ( a private hot spring on your land was what sold you ), while waiting to give birth. Grogu was very happy to meet few of his friends again at the newly established school which Karga has set up, although you have tutored him quite a lot during the travel, you convenience Din it is best for him to go to school, learn to do some socialisation with children around the same age. ( “Mental age.”  Din reminded you.) 

It wasn’t an easy birth. But luckily after hours of labour, you and Din welcomed your second child into the clan without complications.  Grogu was so excited to be a big brother, follows you and Din around ( whoever has the baby in their arm ) eager to help out, anything from holding the bottle, staring at the baby while they are sleeping, to poor attempts to soothe them if they cry. Deciding to get up and search for your missing riduur, you slowly make your way towards the family room. You find Din sometimes, in his insomnia state, likes to sit there, polishing his armour and weapons. It’s almost like a meditation to him, keeping him calm. 

Passing by the nursery on the way, you heard a low voice. Singing. 

You peek through the slight gap of the door, there’s Din, just visible through the silver moonlight shining through the slight gap of shutter, dressed only in his lounge pants, rocking your newborn ik’aad, singing a lullaby. Din lifts his head, noticing you leaning against the frame of the door, tears in your eyes, overwhelmed by the sight.  Soft smile appeared on his face. You quietly shuffle towards the pair.  Shifting his hold slightly, he extended one of his arms towards you, pulling you gently into embrace. Leaning your head against his chest, looking at your ik’aad, whose eyes are starting to close, slowly falling back to sleep. 

“Keep singing Din. I love hearing your voice.”

Din continues to sing. Now rocking both of you. 

Finally settled back to sleep, Din released the hold on you and gently put the baby back into the cot. You tuck the baby back into the blanket, and Din lean his head into the crook of your neck, embracing you from behind. “Was that a lullaby from Aq Vetina? I only recognise a few words here and there.”

“Our polyglot couldn’t recognise the language?” Din teased you. 

You lightly smack his hand. “ Shuush. I am good with languages but that doesn't mean I am a protocol droid that understands EVERYTHING.” you chuckled. “.... It was a lullaby my mother used to sing to me. One of only a few things I remember from my life on the planet.” He murmured, you can hear a bit of emotion in his voice. You clutch onto his hand tight. “ Can’t let the memory fade then. Keep singing it. Pass it down to our ad’ike. So they can pass it down to their Ad’ike. It will be the song of Clan Mudhorn.”

Few days later, you saw Din,  who is holding the baby in his arm, teaching Grogu who is sitting in his lap, the lyrics of the lullaby.  Your sweet little Pea although he couldn’t pronounce the words, was trying his hardest, mimicking the tune. Your clan of four. For all the credits in the galaxy you wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

“I mean it would help if the channel had some complementary colors but we are the complementary colors and we’re nearly every color in the rainbow so it’s proving itself to be more difficult than I imagined”

✨️ It was very much “infatuation at 𝟷ˢᵗ sight” when they met 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚 (sadly after her correspondence abruptly stopped, their feelings began dwindling after a long period of heartbreak 😔💔) ... when they meet once again it takes 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞 a while to trust 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚 again (“once bitten, twice shy”)

✨️ They realized they were trans & began (socially) transitioning at age 𝟷𝟹 🏳️‍⚧️

✨️ 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞 is a crybaby ... & while they HAVE gotten better at processing their emotions they still tend to cry whenever they experience overwhelming emotions (positive & negative) 😥

✨️ They're rarely seen without their mama's 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵 around their neck

✨️ As much as they love their aunt, they're still painfully aware (even as a very young child) that she is NOT a true replacement for their mama

✨️ They absolutely adore both of their brothers ... even if 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 can be a bit patronizing & 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐭 is emotionally distant at times 🙃

✨️ 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞 has massive abandonment issues (their biggest fear is that EVERYONE they love is going to leave them eventually ... & they'll be alone again) which leads to some not-so-healthy thoughts & behaviour patterns (nothing “extreme” or “harmful” to the other party though ... mainly just to themselves)

✨️ Despite being so small, 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧 often functions as their “emotional support bird” 💕🐤

✨️ 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞'𝐬 favourite hobby is dancing (ballet, ballroom, etc.), not only does it keep them fit & quick on their feet, it's also A LOT of fun for them

✨️ They're a “smile through the pain” kind of person (unless someone knows them & their queues well, it's hard to tell when they're actually upset) 🥲

✨️ 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞 loved their time at the 𝐼𝑚𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 & hopes to continue their studies, as well as the research they were assisting with, in the future

pls........ can u tell me more about the notkhan in the future. how are they even keeping up with each other. is it a long distance relationship?

hi beastie... ok so while i have a vague timeline-ish for their generally embarrassing relationship i sometimes think that even at that age they're still in some kind of like. embarrassing back and forth for the 5th consecutive year at this point. or maybe like. before khan started having the Itch to travel they had gotten closer -> distant again as he travels -> close again when they get to see each other(?). i don't have a Set timeline for them because. will not lie i think about them way less than i do. well. [desperate look at my wips]

but regardless of having grown distant or not [i also think the whole. arranged marriage might have not been too fun for any of them. and by "them" i include capella. but also i have scene in my mind of notkin standing up during the "speak now or forever hold your peace" part of the ceremony but not to stop the wedding he just needed to tell the newlyweds' parents had they put on their big guy pants this wouldn't have happened so like i'm coping. i'm seeing it i'm coping] i'm thinking now you know how i've written and drawn burakhovsky going_to_each_others_houses.txt .png [realizing now i might not have posted on this blog anything about dankovsky coming back to hang out in burakh's house because the um. but like he has] maintaining the relationship like that. i think they might do that. not in the way/for the reasons burakh and dankovsky do but they do go to each other's place of residence. except it's not two houses they both have Home in the same place, one's just goofin around. khan often comes home with trinkets and books and whatnot for capella [she loves books] so he moight see notkin then... and when he's studying at some universities he makes arrangements for notkin to come visit him (he's in dorms or his own place). shows him around the city. might even introduce him to classmates like this is my friend. notkin :) he looks like he bites it's probably because he does. (does notkin get jealous? maybe. is khan like "you are a steakhead. come give me a hug"? brother you probably know it.)

also i think post-plague ToG is starting to like. get the telegraph put in place. + with the returns of the trains they can actually send letters. so there's that there'd be that.

tldr they go to each other's house (gone shy) (gone having-grown-distant-but-reconnecting-in-times-of-achey-legs-and-arms) (gone khan throws pebbles at notkin's window to try to get him to open so he can come in and they can Talk(tm) and he ends up falling asleep on the couch getting laid upon by Jester) and send each other letters and telegrams. sometimes. until khan stops traveling for a few months. then one day he'll come back home.

A suggestion for the Fnaf saga. Satan is actually super creeped out by some of the animatronic designs, he just puts on a brave face while watching Ik play. One night he has a nightmare about it and can't get to sleep properly for like a week afterwards but he's way too embarassed to admit it. Eventually Ik figures it out and for a couple of nights she'll get him and a few other brothers together in the living room and they'll have a nice sleepover

Even after Satan stops being scared he doesn't say so for a bit, because he lowky likes the sleepovers

satan, 4am: i've finished two books already i should really get to sleep

satan, in his head: i can't because five nights at freddy's is under. my bed

the poor guy just gets those jumpscares in his head and lies there in silent anticipation of one, even though he knows FULL WELL that freddy fazbear is not waiting behind that bookshelf to stuff him into an animatronic

during their sleepovers ik and levi help him get over this fear by playing make-believe with pngs of the animatronics, and from then on satan can counter the image of bonnie jumping him with the memory of levi stretching him suuuuper wide while ik chants "big man big man big man", and he is no longer afraid :D

Comparing Megaman robot masters to Megaman Battle Network netnavis part 3

okay not gonna lie I’ve got a bit of a migraine forming so gonna do my best to be brief and quick with this one

First up is Needleman and Needleman.exe

Classic looks like a retrofitted Airman but oddly enough I kinda prefer it this time. Force gem or whatever the random glowey bits on robot masters are called is in a weird spot but it’s not too be a detraction

.EXE looks like a png-tuber who complains about the problems of forced diversity. Dreamworks smirk looking headass. Also weirdly enough in the anime they gave this navi to a (relatively) fleshed out version of the twin sister of the teacher character. Not putting that towards the score but figured that was neat (also Ms Yuri can step on my thro-)

Point (eheh) in favour of the Robot Masters, giving us a score of 11-6

Next is Magnet Man and MagnetMan.EXE

Classic is...kinda bare bones with the idea. Looks like someone in a bootleg Magneto cosplay.

While the chest of .EXE being another, larger magnet along with the magnet helmet, I do like the kind of studded look to it, Gives it a kind of knuckleduster look to it which while not matching the initial theme matches with him being less of a partner to his user and more of a bodyguard/hired muscle. I also like the fact they gave him a sort of brother/copy in blue for his signature North-South Tackle

Point to the navis, giving them double the RM’s score with 12-6

Skipping GeminiMan and HardMan we have TopMan and TopMan.exe

...I really do not see how any robots, even a Mettaur, could follow TopMan even with the RobotMaster tech

Meanwhile I have a big soft spot for this gaming geezer. The video I’m ripping o-I mean was inspired by mentioned how TopMan.exe looking like his owner was a ‘problem’ with a lot of navi but I love it. It also makes the theming work a bit more, with the owner being a crotchety toy maker.

Unlucky for the Robot Masters, it’s now 13-6

Ssssslithering into frame is SnakeMan and SnakeMan.exe

SnakeMan is probably my favourite design from 3, even if it’s relatively goofy.

I vaguely remember being creeped out by SnakeMan.exe in the anime, despite its clown vomit of a colour scheme. The arms at the back of the head kind of make it awkward. I feel like if they appeared in their own jars it’d work a bit better. Also the...flames(?) so SnakeMan.exe can actually move seem a bit out of place.

Point in favour of the robot masters, 13-7

Next up, SparkMan and SparkMan.exe

...I’m gonna be completely honest I have nothing to say for either case.

The lighter orange and addition of yellow to make it read more at a glance it’s a electric boss is alright, but leg down by the adition of green

...I’m calling it a tie. Maybe it’s the headache or the fact I do not have an attachment for either design but I’m just so...apathetic.

And finally for this batch, ShadowMan and ShadowMan.exe

Now these are ssome damn good designs!

The classic’s night sky blue armour referencing the real life ninja uniforms (the all black ones were more of a theatre thing) along with the sorta...I forget the right word but fishnet ‘undershirt’ is a big plus for me. And while I’d argue the pure white parts ruin the whole stealth idea...ehhh, it’s not like he’s stealthy in the game anyway, and his navi self’s not dressed for stealth.

But what he is dressed for is to look so damn cool. Strider levels of oversized scarf, purple will always get you bonus points with me, and the legs looking like the tradition sandal look

...this is another tie but I genuinely think that these two are 10/10 designs that are just two different looks of the same theme.

Which ends this post with the score being 15-9. Genuinely surprised at how close it’s been so far.

Since I’ve got some shifts coming up, I probably won’t be posting again until Sunday at least...or who knows maybe I’ll surprise even myself. Cioa ‘til then
