Six marvelous months with Park Jimin

January 2023

The year started with the announcement that Jimin had been appointed as the Global Brand Ambassador for Christian Dior (17/01). The occasion was marked with six Awesome magazine covers and the Dior Fashion Show in Paris (20/01). The fashion establishment was blown away by the response to Jimin's participation in the show.

The same month Jimin released Vibe (13/01) , a dream collaboration with his long time musical hero Taeyang from Big Bang.

This was both artists first solo hit on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 76.

February 2023

Jimin did a live on 03/02 in which he confirmed that his solo music, although a little delayed, was likely to come out in March 2023.

On 21/02, Big Hit announced that FACE would be released on 24/03/23. The next day they published the countdown schedule and on the 23/02 the tracklist for the album.

March 2023

On 02/03, Jimin was named Ambassador for Tiffany & Co which he wore spectacularly in his photoshoot for Vogue that month.

On 06/03, Soundcloud super track Promise along with Jimin's yuletide gift to ARMY, Christmas Love were added to Jimin's Spotify profile. The era of streaming Jimin's profile had begun.

From then on, everything started speeding towards the release of FACE. The Hardware and Software images came out.

Set Me Free Pt 2 exploded into the world on 17/03. Nobody saw it coming and it caused a furore on social media. It was a clear statement of intent. I am here to stay and I am here to slay. It debuted at No.30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

FACE was released on 24/03 along with the Like Crazy MV. Speaking for myself Like Crazy blew me away. Jimin set out to make a statement with that song and I will always be proud to be the fan of such an honest and brave artist.

With the release of FACE we also discovered that hidden on the record was a very special song, Letter, in which Jungkook sings background vocals.

That last week of March saw Jimin appeared on the Jimmy Fallon Show with a live performance of Like Crazy.

In the next 9 days, he gave comeback performances on MCountdown, Music Bank and Inkiagayo. He came live to thank ARMY for turning up to his shows. He won awards. He appeared on the radio, on the entertainment shows Beat Coin, Ddeun Ddeun and Pixid. He even did fan meetings.

April 2023

On 01/04 Jimin gave an unforgettable acoustic rendition of Like Crazy live on Lee Mujin Service April Fools Edition.

And then on 03/04, Jimin made history. The first South Korean to ever make No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the first Asian Artist to do so in 60 years. He came live in the early hours of the morning, clearly shellshocked but brimming over with gratitude to everyone who had supported the album and the song.

Then on 05/04 the promotions were over and Jimin once again expressed his happiness and thanks to ARMY for supporting FACE.

It had been a whirlwind and I think we, as well as Jimin, were caught off guard when the promotions ended so quickly. We had a beautiful album to savour but we wanted to continue to savour it with Jimin.

The focus returned to fashion when Jimin flew to New York at the end of April to attend the Tiffany & Co Landmark opening (28/04).

He attended Suga's concert in Newark on the 29/04 and headed back to South Korea later that week. But why didn't he fly straight back after the concert we wondered?

May 2023

It all soon became clear, he had been filming the MV for Angel Pt 1 from the Fast X movie. The song came out on the 19/05 and debuted at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100. This was Jimin's fourth chart entry in five months.

At the end of the month, Jimin made a short trip to London and we are still speculating on what that was all about. He posted photos of his trip to HP World as soon as he got back to South Korea on 27/05.

June 2023

Festa 2023 soaked Seoul in purple for nearly three weeks at the beginning of June in celebration of BTS's ten years since debut. Jimin gifted fans with a live performance of Dear.ARMY on 07/06 and....

,,,,,,on 13/06 BTS released this beautiful live version of Take Two with Jimin adding depth and colour to the song with his stunning vocals.

But there was still more to come, on 15/06 Jimin came live in high spirits and spent quality time with ARMY. It was the same day as the release of Angel Part 2.

On the 27/06 Jimin's solo profile appeared on Billboard and serves as a permanent reminder of everything that has happened in the short space of 6 months. It has been a roller coaster ride and I am still hopeful that we will still get more music from Jimin before he has to enlist. I wanted to make this post so that no one forgets what he has achieved and the permanent mark he has made on the global music industry since he took his first steps towards a solo career.

This is the full colored version of the Cerisette Rock Band AU.

This happens in the Re-Verse from the Miraculous Paris special: Lila/Cerise and Marinette play rock music and form a duo together before merging with the Kitty Resistance (Rose, Juleka, Luka and Ivan). Lila/Cerise plays electric guitar and Marinette plays keyboard. And they make an illegal concert. In this AU, the Supreme from the Re-Verse has forbidden the music. The latter's logo gets vandalized.

Lila/Cerise's hair is a wig with a sky-blue dye. Marinette is just Emonette-Shadybug.

Marinette is the Ladybug and Cerise is the new Hesperia for this concept.

We can see Marinette is blushing about her music partner.

Funny seeing the cult cocky on twitter about Tk outings in 2023, cause they never had any before. Celebrating tk riding together one time to Suga's concert, when this is shit Jikook done for years. Outings alone, with friends & riding together for years. That grumpy tkk, saying Tae looks like an idiot, asshole, rude & disrespectful cause of hybe, jimin & Jennie. bitch just say you want to trash Tae in public cause you're so mad he didn't follow your rules. It's funny to me how after all those leaks( not supporting the leaks here) one part of the fandom held onto the strong belief and even after this incident they strongly hold onto the belief that it's not tae. I literally worked on this draft a couple of days after Taenni's gay (as in happy) Paris walkabout. Got forgotten in my drafts and here we are a a month later and blah.

After the whole "it's obviously them", Taenni have gone silent. Agencies both giving evasive answers.

Both in Cannes at the same time - nothing.

Been back in Korea - nothing.

Both at Bruno Mars's concert at same time, literally sitting a row apart - nothing.

God bloody damn it.

And all this time we still have those little couple matchy or almost matchy pieces of jewelry and hats and singing same songs and what not.

So, soft going public, continued with total silence. Kind of not understanding the strategy here, but ok.

One thing for sure though. The whole "the companies paired them together as a publicity stunt" story kind of went to shit. Kind of hard to claim it's a publicity stunt, them being a couple, when ever since they continue to act in public like they don't even know each other (bloody ridiculous if you ask me).

I can't help but wonder what the strategy is here. Are they waiting until after Tae's album? Was he spooked by the fans reactions? Are they waiting for the end of Jenni's tour? Were the reactions to her role in the Idol an issue? Who knows. I do still believe that they were out and about in Paris together to be seen and documented. They wanted that. Maybe against their companies advice or instruction? Perhaps that's the issue? Who knows. All I know is that there is still a continuation to this story to come.

As for Jikook. TOTALLY different story.

Saying that Jikook and Taenni are not the same is an understatement.

Put aside the the idols that they are and the professional and monetary price to pay.

Jikook just walking down the street hand in hand - there are places in the world they literally risk their lives doing that.

Including places we consider 'enlightened'.

Did we see this?

This is way beyond what will happen or could happen to them as idols or artists. It's about their safety, their lives, their freedom.

I do hope a day will come when JM and JK can indeed walk hand in hand down the street freely with no repercussions. Jikook and every other queer person alike.

Thoughts..

I've been a bit busy with real life lately 😂 Altought I didn't get to see the latest Festa events until last night… I already had some thoughts piled up....

To whom it may concern :))

The fist and most important....now that the Festa has already finished, can someone explain to me why on the 10th anniversary the boys who are still with us couldn't gather together?

Why the schedule was to do separate things? the fuck...

We fans know they are in chapter 2. No one was going to be confused by seeing an ot5 or ot4 vlive. Or a dinner.

I know they didn't have to, but striving for doing things separately, when they clearly see each other almost every day (NJ dixit) .....

I love Stray Kids and I'm enjoying their come back a lot. It's been a little over two weeks and every day there's a performance or music event, fansigns, videoconferences, behind the scnenes and they've already released 4 MVs. It's very refreshing… and by comparison, a bit sad. It makes me realise, even more, the lack of content from BTS and their members.

(And I am not only referring to this chapter 2)

Second thought is that I just saw that New Jeans have announced their CB on July 21st, and their pre-release on the 7th.

I find it very difficult that JK will release his album in July (in the middle or just after NJ), unless Hybe doesn't care if their artists overlap (I know, I know what happened last April… but we're talking about 1 week difference).

Third thought. Tae and Jennie pretending they don't know each other at the Bruno Mars concert, as if we didn't know they are lovers, seems pretty sad to me too.

Even understanding that it's some short of protection against the future release of Tae's album (dont make his fans angrier)… the truth is that it seems ridiculous …

Let's see… if what happened in Paris "didn't happen" for some fans… what could have happened yesterday if they had gone together, with their shared friends,ñ???? EXCLUSIVE: Dior Names K-pop Group Tomorrow X Together Brand Ambassadors

The five-member group wore custom Kim Jones-designed stage outfits for their headline performance at Lollapalooza Aug. 5.

PARIS — Fresh off of last weekend’s Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, K-popquintet Tomorrow X Together, aka TXT, have been crowned the newest Dior brand ambassadors.

Their custom-designed Dior stage ensembles were a stylish teaser for the official announcement.

Dior artistic director Kim Jones created the bespoke concert outfits members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai wore onstage as part of their 20-song, history-making set as the first Korean group to headline the music festival.

“Tomorrow X Together are the perfect ambassadors for Dior. They have a great attitude and style and they look great in their custom stage outfits,” said Jones. The looks recalled the sci-fi-inspired, slightly utilitarian feel of his pre-fall 2023 collection, staged last December in Egypt.

Their appointment as ambassadors “seals their friendship with Dior and Kim Jones,” the company said. “The South Korean singers now embody the spirit and singularity of Dior style, a modernity with a timeless signature.”

“Our headlining at Lollapalooza was one of the most significant performances of our career. It was truly an honor to share the stage with Dior, and we hope to continue to show Tomorrow X Together’s versatility through this partnership,” said Soobin. The group leader wore a gray silk polkadot sleeveless gilet, gray wool chino pants with a matching short kilt.

“I’m thrilled to become an ambassador of Dior and represent a brand that I am personally fond of,” said Yeonjun. “I loved being onstage and dressed in the special outfits that Kim Jones designed for us.” He sported a beige wool tweed sleeveless gilet, beige wool chino pants with a matching long kilt.

“It is a great honor to share a milestone moment with Dior. I look forward to the synergy we will be creating together,” added Beomgyu. He kept it cool in brown wool pleated shorts, paired with a brown wool cropped zip jacket, a brown silk polkadot sleeveless gilet onstage.

Taehyun wore a beige wool tweed sleeveless gilet, brown wool chino pants with matching long kilt for the performance. “Collaborating with a major fashion house like Dior for a music festival as big as Lollapalooza was truly amazing. I also look forward to our journey ahead with Dior,” he said of working with the brand.

The group’s youngest member Hueningkai added that the concert marked the first step for the ambassadorship. “Lollapalooza marked the beginning of our journey as Dior ambassadors. Dressing in Dior stage outfits specially designed by Kim Jones that suited us perfectly added to the indescribable joy we felt on that big stage,” he said.

He wore a gray wool cropped zip jacket, a gray silk polka dot sleeveless gilet, grey wool pleated shorts with matching short kilt.

Soobin, Yeonjun and Taehyun sported Dior Oblique B33 sneakers, while Beomgyu and Hueningkai both wore the brand’s Carlo boots.

The house had an early eye for K-pop’s global popularity and and growing cultural power. Jones designed custom looks for K-pop supergroup — and TXT senior label mates — BTS’ “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour in 2019.

BTS’ Jimin joined Dior as global ambassador last year. His presence at the January menswear show lured thousands of fans to wait outside the venue for a glimpse of the superstar. Astro’s Cha Eun-woo and Exo’s Sehun are also ambassadors for Dior Men’s, while Blackpink’s Jisoo has been an ambassador on the womenswear side since 2019.

In June, Jones celebrated his five-year anniversary at the house with a powerful “pop-up” show that saw models emerge from the floor in cropped sweaters, herringbone cardigans and metallic tweed coats.

TXT’s “Sugar Rush Ride” is nominated in the Best K-pop category at the MTV Video Music Awards set to take place on Sept. 12.

Not talking about yoonmin or any ship but they might have kept it secret many times too as much as they have publically traveled together. Definitely not for the purpose shippers think but more like for their own privacy cause then people just try finding their locations and all. Jimin's paris trip was all over the internet, same happened with taehyung. taekook has travelled together but no one would have known if he didn't share the pic (idk if the travelling happened in korea itself but it's more likely korea cause other countries except japan just don't care about the privacy like that), jungkook has done trips with his friends, so has jimin and in between that some were public some only got figured out after the members posted themselves, same for the vminkook jeju trip. So yeah it's not because of the reasons shippers think but most likely for their own privacy. I remember taehyung thanking the Hawaii people for respecting his privacy and keeping boundaries. The vhope trip got to know because they posted on Instagram. Some members post it and some just never post it like take example of jungkook he Hardly posts his trips and all even tho he goes on trips with his friends. People only suspect it when there's an eye witnesses or else he Hardly posts it or mention it. Jimin, yoongi, jungkook are some of the members who prefer their privacy the most. Not saying others don't care but these three usually these three and i think jin too. So it's basically taejoonhope that let people know.

Jimin publicly travelled to Chicago to support Hoseok in Lolla. He went to Yoongi's concert without hiding. He publicly took a flight to the US during Jungkook debut to film with him. He showed up at Taehyung's music show recording. He visited Jin in the military and photos were posted.

If Jimin was travelling with a member for a public schedule, it would've been known. So the theories don't make sense. All the other times you mentioned were private trips that the members took in their free time, with real-life friends, they weren't travelling with other BTS members in their free time. If Jimin had travelled with Yoongi to Singapore, or with Jungkook to Qatar, it most definitely would've been known.

UGH! - Grace (Concert)

After many meetings and months of planning, Grace’s solo tour was in motion. She had covered the dates in Seoul and America, had finished her only date in Paris and landed in London for the first of two shows. The whole night had been meticulously planned to the final detail, including meetings with Olivier Rousteing to design the costumes for the concert. 

One thing she had been adamant about was that she included BTS’ songs in the setlist - whether it would be her own, as a group, the rap line or even solo songs. It was a reminder that she would always be a member of BTS and they would be with her no matter where she went. The team had made a list of songs that Grace felt comfortable doing on her own and kept it a complete surprise for fans and the boys alike.

So far, the night had been a complete success at the O2 Arena and ARMY were on fire, singing every song at the top of their lungs, coming out in the max capacity the venue could hold, wearing BTS merch, wearing Grace merch, wearing costumes. The venue was also split in numbers between men and women, everyone simply enjoying the music. 

When the first few seconds of UGH! started playing, the scream of the crowd overpowered the music. At first, they thought it would be a video played of the boys as an interlude but they soon realised something amazing was about to happen when Grace walked onto the stage at the ‘LET’S GO!’ and she started rapping Yoongi’s part.

For Yoongi’s part, she was cocky and engaging with the camera, making sure all eyes were on her until she switched to Namjoon’s part when she became confident and tall, letting the camera back off for a full view of the camera. 

As the chorus hit, the O2 Arena lit up with lights and fourteen dancers flooded the stage, dressed in matching boxing uniforms as a nod to the performance that the rap line did. The moment was caught on phone cameras, all raised to capture the moment that showcased Grace’s control over her breathing and movements. 

It was as if she embodied the three men in one simple performance that would make headlines across the media - her cockiness, her confidence, her control of the camera, keeping all eyes on her especially as she switched to Hobi’s part - gentle, engaging then completely energetic as she moved down the platform with seven dancers to the thrust stage.

Seven male dancers, each one representing the boys in one way or another, did the small dance routine that the rap line had followed at their own performance. All the while, Grace kept in formation with them while rapping along to the track.

Tell me your story about TK? For me, Taehyung’s photo found me on IG in early January (of this year) and I went down the BTS rabbit hole and then on a quest to understand their relationship. While those two hold a special place, I love BTS’ music and all the members’ interactions.

So I'm a little older, I've been into kpop and kdrama since the second generation (early 2000s). Life happens, and I fell out of everything. Didn't know who's who's in kpop, haven't watched kdramas for years. About last year I have two friends and colleagues, they're younger, talking about kpop but specifically BTS. I was like, been there, done that I don't think I can get into that again. They talked, and I listened. One even went to their Vegas concert. Around February or March of this year, I was on YouTube, and one of their Run BTS episodes popped up on my feed. Next thing you know, I'm spiraling down the BTS rabbit hole, hahaha.

For me, I noticed Taekook after the whole Paris walk event. Not gonna lie Taehyung and JK had already been my biases at that point. I noticed how weird the video was right. As timing would have it, I started seeing these taekook analysts' videos on my YT feed, starting watching those. I also rewatched their unedited/analysts clips, and I noticed a special bond between them. As time goes by they keep giving us hints and clues into their relationship.

Most fans don't like nor want to accept the idea that there are gay idols out there. They want their idols to be pure, innocent, untouched and straight. That's not realistic nor true.

Like you I believe in taekook but I'm also OT7. I love BTS music, what they stand for and especially the love the members have for each other.

RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook Enlistment

Our RM and V are posting their final photos before enlistment. RM started out as my bias when I was first introduced to BTS in December of 2022 following major surgery. I was recuperating and happened to watch the Permission to Dance concert on Disney +. I had seen them a couple of times when they were guests on Good Morning American a few years back, but did not have any interest then. Boy oh boy how I kicked myself. I went down the rabbit hole and I still have not come up for air.

My bias quickly changed to Jimin after watching him perform some of his solo work. His beautiful voice and insane dancing skills mesmerized me. I remember watching Jimin’s first Dior appearance in Paris and I was like how can a man be so elegant and beautiful? The insane crowds he attracted floored me. Then he released Face. I listen to his album almost daily, 8 months later. I love his willingness to open himself up to us with his very personal thoughts and feelings. Again beautiful work. The acoustic version of Like Crazynis my favorite. I can’t wait for his new music and look forward to many more solo performances along with his group work. Then Jhope showed up, wowed the crowds and calmed Jimin’s nerves down a little. Suga became my bias wrecker after seeing him perform live in Chicago. I also fell in love with Jhope’s personality and tone of his voice. I love his dancing skills and the swag he brings to his rapping. I think he has a beautiful singing voice. So I have two bias wreckers. Yet, I love the voices of each member as they are so different yet blend so well. Jin’s voice is so beautiful. Epiphany makes me cry and I just love Astronaut. I can’t wait for his return and album. JK knocked its out of the park with his single releases and album. His voice is so versatile and beautiful as well.

Anyway, I will miss all my boys and can’t wait for their return in 2025. I never cared about writing before, but I find that I like commenting on posts and have decided to blog. I bring a unique viewpoint as an older fan (60) who is also African American. I look forward to sharing my BTS journey with you and how they have impacted my life this year.

ps…Jimin said he did not want to show his shaved head and I respect his decision. I will not post any images of Jimin shaved unless he posts the image.

Saw those pics on Twitter and apparently this guy was that friend who went on a trip with Jimin back in 2019 and now we saw him having a chit chat with jikook in that corner where jikook are attached to the hip and JK hand was on JM waist too 😏 in 1 of story of Hoseok and it look him and JK are bestie too.

The way we have heard from JM he don't share his friend but i guess JK is an exception 😌

There were a few other people there from W Korea as well. All of BTS has worked with W Korea multiple times in the past, all the way back in 2014 to most recently JHope solo

He also went to see their concert in 2018 and took a photo with Hobi, RM and Tae. Is he then Good enough friends to just be on the phone one afternoon and randomly decide to take a spontaneous trip to Paris together with Jimin, booking a flight for 3 hours later. I don't THINK so. Lol but that doesn't mean that they aren't! Jimin is fairly private with his friendships for the most part. What we learn of them, we often learn from other people! Lol he shares with us only on occasion 🤣 so who knows! It could be him! I wouldn't know, but I didn't think so.

Regardless of its the same man or not though. It's VERY clear they all get along. That he is fond of both Jimin and Jungkook. And they like him too. Those photos are so cute it hurts! I love them. And it's very clear that over and over again.... jikook show us that they are each other's exception ALOT. I actually made a post over it before lol

TK might go to a premiere and hang out with friends, but there is still no sexual tension between them. How can I say TK is real, when Tae is the exact same way with WS and random's he just met in Paris? Did we forget how cozy he was with randoms? If I'm being honest, Tae has more sexual tension with Jimin and at least he said from his own mouth he likes JM & likes him the most and wrote songs about him. So if I think TK is real, I have to think Vmin is real. And well, neither are real.

Truth told. No duos act like Jikook. They don't cross lines into sexual. With Jikook, its inuendos. Hinting at fucking, saying Rabbit is spicy or asking the other if they want Ramen knowing what it means in their country or telling the other to do cardio with them and the other grunting. Ball fondling with feet, neck sucking, ear sucking, not to mention JK rubbing his dick all over JM's ass every chance he gets. JM even got flustered and didn't know which way to turn. TK's moment and Jikook's happened in the same concerts and You know damn well its different. And JK did that after the Vminkook live too, where they said JM was a thirdwheel. Funny JK made all Jikook antis in the audience become Jikook's thirdwheel during that So What moment. Ultimate slap in the face, if you ask me & deserved.

This fandom is full of pearl clutchers who don't wanna talk about BTS having sex, let along with each other. Yet they will write fanfics and draw pics of it or say two members are having sex, but when the truth is smacked in their face, they pretend not to see it or they can't be real or make excuses. Jikook been fucking for years and everyone knows it, its why people hate JM & Jikook so much and low key why they trash JK too and make him out to be a cheater and fanservice king. Anything but accepting Jikook have been burning up the bedroom sheets together for years.

We still had them arriving (late) together and leaving together from Yoongi's concert. Obviously, the Seven mv shoot and Bruno Mars concert happened where they wore those matching shirts which is for me my second favorite Taekook moment of the year after the Dream premiere. Apparently the necklace JK was wearing that same day in the Seven mv is also an old piece from Celine that is no longer available and came from his personal collection because he also brought it to the recent Vogue photo shoot that he directed. Make of that what you will, but finding out that info from Vogue I'm convinced the shirt was also his and obviously they planned to wear them. I honestly don't get people who act like he talks about Jimin all the time or way more than Tae? I feel like this is a very biased view. Tae solos will tell you that Jungkook mentions Tae all the time for attention, and Jungkook solos will tell you the reverse is true. Since Paris we got Jungkook confirming that he played Seven for Tae first and that they always send music they're working on to each other. Tae talked about working on the songs for Layover at Jungkook's house. They're clearly still spending as much time as they can together, they're just also both really busy. I'm Jungkook biased, I listen to him and I don't notice him favoring Jimin so heavily. He does seem to talk about Jimin and Tae more than the other BTS members, but I think that's because he's closer to them than the other members of the group and also he gets asked about them A LOT. On a different topic, did you see the previews of the concept photos for the "Substance" version of Jungkook's album? It includes graffiti of his tattoos, and one thing stood out. There are least two Vs. I think it's very interesting, one of the Vs is next to a crown like the one he has next to it on his hand, but the crown is oriented correctly. The V should be upside down if it's from his ARMY tattoo...but in this photo set it is just a regular V now. I really don't know what to think about that, but I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts. Also, some misinformation being spread about the other graffiti people are saying it says J 🤟 V, it does not. The tattoo in between is his 🤘 tattoo which was actually a basic flash design by Mijoo and it's been there since the beginning, although he did get it retouched/colored by PolyC (who has really been doing a beautiful job on his sleeve)

Yes, great points! Them being busy definetly has to do with it as well. I feel the difference lies most in how freely they mention each other in lives. I had someone comment it's because of the shipping comments, and I i do agree. They do lives for themselves, and to have people ask for shipping proofs must be annoying, because it takes the focus away from their music and their own connection with army.

I did see the pic with the tattoos, I'm kinda hoping to see some behind the scenes of the whole backdrop with his tattoos (which is super nice by the way, really love that pic), to see if I can get a larger idea of how his tattoos were spreaded.
