I have not seen an object show in my life but is there somewhere I can aquire information on that doller bill and banana? I am intrigued

they're from 5 secondly object show: beans show!

(technically they debuted in 5 Secondly Object Show Season 3 but the other 5sos seasons are. very briefly made joke shows and i wouldn't say they're required viewing for beans show at all lol. they're still fun if you end up wanting more though!)

#it's also technically a spiritual successor to another old joke show by the same creator called battle for grandma #it's pretty old though and a pretty far cry from the quality of the stuff sacri (the creator) puts out now #there's a couple references to it and it takes place in the same location but i wouldn't really say its required to enjoy beans show either #bri talks #brifdi #anyway like almost every object show that exists. It does take some community in jokes from bfdi #but it's still a very fun show on its own merits and i don't think it's necessarily a bad spot to jump in when it comes to the osc #i'd recommend checking out BURNER (by the same creator) if you end up liking it!

i find it interesting how my interest for bfdi has almost completely died down once i realised how talented other much lesser-known object show creators are. the amount of insanely impressive content i've seen from shows like 5 secondly object show and animatic battle completely blows out any recent episode of tpot for me.

i think a great example of this is the most recent episode of animatic battle, being episode 2 while i'm writing this. i'm very close to greeny and sacri and that general friendgroup, so i got to watch basically the entire episode get written, storyboarded, voice acted, edited, and animated. it's almost mesmerising how well greeny and sacri work together as a duo, and by just having two people really mix their creation styles well, you can produce one of, if not the best recent episode of an object show i've seen come out in years.

even some of sacri's work like burner and 5 secondly object show is astounding to see get worked on. she does basically all of that stuff herself - writing the whole episode, voice acting all of it for burner, and the majority of it for 5sos. and usually she animates almost the whole thing as well, save for a couple scenes. that is some of the most inspiring and incredible stuff i've ever seen from an object show creator. i'm incredibly lucky and grateful to see her work on these projects pretty much every day, and see just how much love, time, and effort is poured into these shows for everyone to enjoy.

seeing shows like bfdi or ii after witnessing stuff like that makes me appreciate smaller osc creators a whole lot more. i totally respect the grind of a whole crew of people, but knowing that the work of only one or two people can put out something just as good, if not leagues better, makes me wish more love was given to some of the smaller creators. i mainly just talk about my friends here, but i really reccommend people check out and give some love to other shows that i don't see posted around nearly as much. some reccommendations i have are Team Room 125, Cast 139, It's Time For The, Take Two Sides, and pretty much all of Creepsington's work.

Thoughts on BURNER?

I've Just Been In the Osc for Ages So I've Heard a Lot of Stuff Through the Grapevine or Witnessed It First Hand. I Realized ii Wasn't Perfect When I Was Around 16 Though and As I've Aged I've Become More Adept at Bitching.

Burner is Fine But Unfortunately Sacri's Style of Humor Isn't My Favorite. I Did Really Like Happy Star So I'm Also Definitely Biased But Eh, What Can You Do.
