Enchanted (Doctor Strange x OC)
A/N: Do I think really anyone except Shay cares about my OCs? Absolutely not but!!! I love her so, not really worried about it. I had a lot of fun writing this actually! Pre-Doctor Strange movie. Sort of a prequel to my Juliet Taylor main-story that I still need to actually write oops. Very loosely based off of another Taylor Swift song (of the same name) because it’s me writing it so of course it has to be. As always, thanks to @unknownauthor for reading everything and letting me yell about how much I love both Juliet Taylor and Cassidy Cooper and encouraging me to make this an oc thing instead of a reader thing!
Warnings: Probably swearing, hints of adult content, casual mention of previous deaths/murder, also alcohol mention.
Word Count: 1,441
As usual, likes are alright but reblogs!!! Are!!! So unbelievably amazing!!!

“Do you have to outshine me at every event you attend with me?” Juliet turned back to the reporter, a camera hanging around her neck.
“How else am I going to find a wealthy neurosurgeon to marry and buy me nice stuff?” Cassidy snorted, shaking her head.
“Ah, I see. What happened with that ex-Marine?”
“Oh, that’s a story for another time, my love. Not the most proper conversation for such a swanky event.” Cassidy laughed, lightly. “So why does the New York Bulletin care about…what the fuck even is this?”
“It’s a Neurological Society dinner, Jules, try and keep up. I don’t know, something about a ‘society’ page of something," Cassidy sighed with a shrug. She raised an eyebrow at something just over Juliet’s shoulder and Juliet turned to examine what her friend had caught sight of. She sighed when she spotted an older gentleman making a beeline for the pair, his cheeks flushed, probably from alcohol if Juliet’s suspicion was right. Cassidy slipped on a fake smile, brushing a curl behind her ear. Juliet wrapped her hands around the camera, hoping to hide her annoyance at this man she hadn’t even spoken to yet. Juliet examined the rotund man, his hair a wispy, thin, and graying tuft on his otherwise balding head.
“What a delight to have such lovely girls here tonight! Who do you two belong to?” the man bellowed, wrapping an arm around each woman. Cassidy laughed, the sound calm to anyone who didn’t know her as well as Juliet.
“Ourselves,” Juliet replied, her voice icy. Before the man could open his mouth to reply, a voice behind Juliet made him stop in his tracks.
“Doctor Morce, I hadn’t seen you yet. Come on, we’d best be getting to our seats before they start without us. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?” Juliet turned, her eyes locking on the newcomer’s eyes, his eyes stormy and gray. Juliet could detect just the slightest hint of tension in his smile as he feigned friendliness towards the older gentleman.
“Doctor Strange! What an honor to see you again, my boy! Where’s that lovely girl of yours, what’s her name again?” Juliet noticed Doctor Strange stiffen just slightly at the question.
“Doctor Palmer couldn’t make it tonight but she sends her sincerest regards, I assure you. Let’s be off now and leave these ladies to their work. They have a very busy night ahead of them, I’m sure.” Juliet relaxed as the man, his hair jet black except for the silver beginning at his temples, started ushering the portly Doctor Morce away.
The younger man, Doctor Strange, glanced back once they were a safe distance away and Juliet mouthed a quick “thank you.” Strange winked at her before taking his seat at the table, Morce moving farther down the table to his spot. Juliet wrapped an arm around Cassidy to try and still her best friend’s slight shaking. “You alright?” Cassidy seemed to snap out of it after a moment and gave Juliet a bright smile, tinged with regret. “Remind me to chew out Ellison when I see him next.” Cassidy sighed.
“I have to do shit like this to be able to write the things that actually matter. I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.”
“Yeah, made that mistake before. So now I’m gonna spend my entire life worrying about you until Murdock gets his head out of his ass and comes crawling back to you.” Cassidy rolled her eyes, glancing back at the table.
“That doctor was very handsome.”
“Morce? Nah, not my type.”
“Why on earth would I be talking about him? I’m talking about the young one. Doctor Strange.”
“I don’t know, it feels like something’s missing. Maybe it’s facial hair?”
“What? You usually don’t care about that.”
“I know! But I think facial hair would look good on him. He sort of reminds me of…an otter, maybe?” Cassidy laughed, shaking her head.
“Regardless, it would seem he can’t take his eyes off of you,” Cassidy murmured, gently nudging Juliet’s shoulder. Juliet glanced over to find his eyes trained on her and she raised an eyebrow, smiling coyly.
“How old do you think he is?”
“Enough.”
“Maybe he’s just prematurely graying? Besides, the gray is kinda doing it for me. Like a silver fox.”
“I’m gonna say that’s just your daddy issues in play.”
“I mean, if anyone would have issues with father figures, or lack-thereof, it would probably be me. I think that’s a fair reason.”
“You mean your father getting far too drunk and killing your mother? Yeah, definitely valid.” The corner of Juliet’s lip turned up into a half-smile, her eyes still focused on Strange. He only broke eye contact when the man to his left leaned over to ask him a question.
“But did you see the way he reacted when Doctor Portly brought up his lady-friend? I’m gonna assume that’s a recent falling out and that’s way too messy for what I want.”
“You’re still enchanted by him. I know that look on your face. It’s actually the one you reserve solely for Chris Pine.”
“Ah, Chris Pine. Now that’s a fine man. And what if I am enchanted by some enigmatic stranger who saved us from dealing with some creepy old man with a little too much liquor in his system? That at least earns him a little gratitude.”
“I know exactly what kind of gratitude you would like to show him and I kindly ask that you do it on your own time. The only reason I invited you because I feel sorry for you. Like, really? ‘Woman finds Theodore Roosevelt on apple seed’? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. You’re a good writer, Juliet. Why waste your time there?”
“Because not everyone has connections like you do, Cass. I have nothing, just a couple of probably, most likely dead parents who were nobodies and whatever money I can scrape by writing shitty articles like that. I want to get my place somewhere based on my writing, not based on the fact that my best friend is ‘an heiress with parents taken tragically too young, a former bright spot within the Manhattan socialite’s club.’ And so far, this is about as much as I can get.”
“Regardless, your talent means you deserve better. And you’re missing the main point of this. I don’t want to get kicked out and cause a scandal because you decided the best way to show that ‘enigmatic stranger’ your gratitude ends with you on your knees in some secluded hallway.” Juliet laughed.
“Do you really have so little faith in me, Cassidy? You think I’d actually get caught?”
“Juliet. I’m serious.”
“So am I. But if it makes you feel any better, cross my heart and hope to die. I promise I absolutely will not get caught on my knees at this swanky event for a bunch of egotistical neurosurgeons who believe they’re god or whatever.”
“I’m still not convinced that you won’t but if you ruin that new dress, I will never speak to you again.” Juliet snorted.
“Yeah, good luck with that. You’d be bored out of your mind without me.”
“Who are you here for?” Juliet turned back at the voice, the same low voice that saved them before.
“I’m Cassidy Cooper, reporting for the New York Bulletin. Doctor Strange, was it?” Cassidy stuck an arm out to shake his hand. Strange smiled, taking Cassidy’s hand in a light shake.
“Yes. I’m Doctor Stephen Strange. I'm a neurosurgeon at Metro-General.”
“Really? A neurosurgeon at a Neurosurgeon Society dinner? I thought you would be a podiatrist.” Cassidy elbowed Juliet and Juliet grinned. Stephen’s eyes flashed over to her and the faintest trace of a smirk appeared on his lips.
“Superb deduction, Sherlock.”
“Well obviously, Watson.” Stephen grinned and Juliet held out her hand. “Juliet Taylor.”
“Charmed, I’m sure,” Stephen replied, taking her hand. Stephen released her hand after a moment as a man came up behind him and clasped him on the shoulder.
“You’re on, Doctor Strange.” Stephen nodded, giving the man a smile.
“If you’ll excuse me, ladies. I hope you enjoy the remainder of your evening.”
“You, too, Doctor,” Cassidy replied with a soft smile. Juliet smiled, raising an eyebrow at Stephen as he glanced back at her.
“See you around. Doctor.” Stephen smirked slightly before nodding. He turned on his heel and Juliet grinned.
“You’re honestly ridiculous, you know that right?” Juliet shrugged, raising an eyebrow at her best friend.
“Doesn’t matter. It won’t be the last time I see him.”

Elijah’s Eternity: Smutty Oneshot - The Green Monster +18
Tumblr media
Author: eternityunicorn
Genre: Romance/AU
Pairing: Elijah Mikealson x OC
Warnings: Smut, pure unadulterated smut!
Summary: Eternity went with Kol for a night on the town, without telling her lover, Elijah about it, whom happens to be Kol’s older brother. He finds out from Freya about this little outing. Now the ugly green monster of jealousy and anger is stirring up inside the older Original, and he plans on ensuring that everyone knows that Eternity belongs to him, especially Kol.
NOTE: OC is from my up and coming novel series!
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Okay, so this fic is based off of ideas @hawaiianohana15 sent me, particularly the suggestion for jealousy sex. I struggled in trying to get this one just right. So, I am not very confident with this fic, as I’m unsure if I hit the mark, but I gave it my best shot. I hope you still enjoy it!
———————————————————————————————————
Elijah was waiting for his lady in the common room of his family’s home. He had a drink in hand and a scowl upon his face that would terrify even the bravest of man as he watched the fire in the fireplace dance. He stood there with stormy thoughts that had come about when he had been informed of Eternity’s outing with his brother Kol, from their sister Freya.
Eternity had never told him about this adventure in the Quarter. Now, Elijah trusted his lady always, knowing there had to be a reasonable explanation for this failure of communication, but even so, it wasn’t a secret that Kol had an attraction for the immortal queen.
The younger Mikaelson had made that quite clear in the way he tried to charm her and how he would flatter her incessantly. Eternity never fell into the snare of his brother’s flirtations, and she never would, but it still rubbed Elijah the wrong way. He didn’t appreciate another man trying to woo his woman, brother or not - and then he had found out that they had gone out together for the evening from someone other than Eternity herself.
In his angry jealousy, Elijah threw the half filled tumbler across the room shattering it against the wall. Just as he did, he suddenly heard her voice out in the courtyard as she returned from wherever she had gotten off to. Kol’s could be heard too.
Immediately, he went out onto the balcony that overlooked the courtyard and saw her there arm in arm with Kol. They were twirling about and laughing innocently, like two best friends.
Perhaps friends was how Eternity saw their relationship, but certainly Kol thought differently no doubt. He probably thought he was winning her over, which was far from the truth. Even so, Elijah knew that his brother had been trying to win Eternity’s favor in the guise of friendship, in hopes to steal her away from him. The sight below looked innocent enough, but there was definitely something more sinister going on.
Elijah couldn’t see past his darker emotions at the sight he witnessed below. The green monster had been unleashed ever since he had discovered this outside no of theirs and it was impossible for him to reign it back in, despite all of his control.
He watched from his place on the balcony as Kol kissed the back of the immortal queen’s hand charmingly in goodnight and walked away. It was then that Eternity noticed Elijah standing there with his hands tightly upon the railing of the balcony. The thin metal groaned under the pressure he applied in his quiet rage. However, she didn’t seem to notice his dark state as she smiled up warmly at him from below, before heading up the stairs to meet him.
It wasn’t until she had nearly reached his side that instinct warned her to keep her distance. Eternity stopped a few feet from him, gazing at him with wary concern. “Elijah?” She murmured. “What is it?”
Elijah turned to her, one hand remaining on the rail and the other being shoved into his pants pocket. He smiled tightly at her in that dangerous way of his, in that unamused one which meant he was incredibly angry. The same one that usually resulted in violence. He took slow steps toward her and with every one he took forward, she took one back, keeping distance between them.
“Did you have a good time, Sweetheart?” He rumbled at her.
Immediately, Eternity realized what was wrong. The recognition showed upon her lovely face. She relaxed considerably, a look of confusion mingling with her concern.
“Yes,” she replied slowly, still keeping distance between them. “Kol and I went to listen to jazz with Rebekah and Marcel. He insisted that I had to go after I told him that I had never cared for that particular genre of music. It was quite the ev-.”
“You went out for the evening with my brother behind my back,” he interrupted with that eerie calmness of his that meant he was anything but calm, not that it wasn’t obvious he wasn’t.
“Elijah,” Eternity said in an almost chastising tone.
That was what caused him to snap. Using his vampire speed, he had Eternity in his harsh grip and had her dragged into the common room where he had been standing in and waiting for her return. He slammed her into the wall, his hands gripping her arms tightly as he stared down at her.
“Normally, I don’t care that you spent time with my family,” he growled at her, speaking a half-truth while nose to nose with her. “However, what I do care about is the fact that you failed to tell me where you were going and that you were going as Kol’s companion. What’s worse is that you know perfectly well how he feels about you, yet you blatantly went with him anyway.”
Eternity sighed, unperturbed by his anger. “I didn’t tell you of our evening plans, because you were busy dealing in family business with Niklaus,” she explained calmly. “I didn’t want to disturb you with all this chaos in the Quarter and I didn’t think it would matter that much, because you trust me. Besides, yes, Kol has an attraction, but surely that doesn’t mean we can’t spend time together. It wasn’t as though we were alone.” She sighed again heavily and her eyes darkened with her own frustration, “You do realize that jealousy is unbecoming and beneath you, my love.”
While her tone seemed even and honest on the surface about her thinking the outing to not being a big deal, but there was the slightest waver beneath that most wouldn’t be able to detect in her voice - but Elijah did right away. Then there was the fiery, condescending tone with the latter part of what she said. The combination of the two only fueled his anger more.
His hand shot into her hair, fisting it at the back of her head and pulling backwards harshly. “If you really believed that it would be no big deal, then you wouldn’t sound so guilty,” he said quietly. “And your condescending tone is not appreciated. You know how I feel about you being in Kol’s company without me.”
“I can handle myself, Elijah. I don’t need you to stand guard over me in regards to Kol,” she hissed in reply. “Besides, your brother wouldn’t dare to try anything anyway. He knows where my heart lies. You’re simply letting your anger and jealousy get the better of you.”
Immediately, Elijah pushed away from her with a growl. He turned around, shoving one hand in his pocket while the fingers of other one ran along his lower lip in thought. He was attempting to reign in his emotions, but what was normally easy to do was difficult now. Eternity was the reason for such difficulty. She turned everything he was completely on it’s head, making him behave more like Niklaus - irrational and out of control.
Yet, despite realizing this, he couldn’t reign in his darker emotions. Not now. They burned through him in an uncontrollable wild fire. There was only one thing that would appease the green monster that had control of him at the moment.
Elijah knew what he needed to do.
Instantaneously, he was back in front of Eternity with his hand fisted in her hair once more. She hissed again as he tugged her head back harshly. “I know that you understand to whom you belong,” he told her, “but perhaps we need to ensure Kol understands it too.”
Elijah kissed her punishingly then, before he released her completely and once more stepped away from her person. He was panting as he stared at her intensely and she stared back with a fire all her own as she remained against the wall where he had left her.
Without further hesitation, he moved to remove his suit jacket and proceeded to unbutton his cuffs, before rolling up his sleeves past his elbows. The whole while he kept his eyes upon his lady. Once he had finished with these tasks, Elijah nodded to Eternity and softly commanded, “Clothes off. Hair up.”
He didn’t have to ask twice. The floral sundress she wore was vanished from her shapely form and her hair was magically put up into a messy knot at the back of her head. She stood before him, bare and vulnerable. It was magnificent a sight.
Elijah moved toward her, undoing his tie and removing it from around his neck as he went. Then with the piece of material wrapped around one hand, he held out the other to her and said, “Come.”
Again Eternity didn’t hesitate in obeying him. She took his offered hand without resistance and let him guide her back out onto the balcony. He lead her to the railing and helped her place her hands upon the thin metal, moving them so that they were together.
With the tie, Elijah tied her hands so that they were secured tightly to the rail. He also positioned her so that she was bent over with her backside jutted out at him slightly. She didn’t question him nor did she try to move. She simply obeyed and let him have his way.
He felt powerful every time Eternity deferred to him, whenever she granted him her submission. She could easily take back control, dominate the situation, but she didn’t. It was always a conscious choice to give him what he wanted, what he needed from her. He had control over the most powerful being in the two universes - it was humbling as it was exciting.
Elijah couldn’t help but to run his hand over the skin of her backside tenderly. Despite the dark place he was in currently, he couldn’t deny being a little sentimental. After all, he did love the woman he had bound before him, always and forever.
Eternity sighed in response to his gentle touch.
Then Elijah leaned over with his hand firmly upon her shoulder and whispered, “We’re going to make sure that Kol and every other possible suitor in the Quarter knows exactly to whom you belong, Sweetheart. So, my darling, don’t hold back. I want you to be as loud as you can possibly muster.”
Eternity shivered delightfully as he straighten while running the hand upon her shoulder down her back and then over her backside again. He then stepped back and off to the side a bit, falling into the perfect position for what he had in mind. Elijah raised his hand and swung it downward against the protruding rounded flesh harshly. She cried out immediately, her voice echoing out over the courtyard. A moan quickly followed.
He performed the same action over and over again, the slap of his hand mingling with her echoing cries as he did. She didn’t try and escape the pain. No, she embraced it, wanting more of it as she pushed back and moaned needfully. Her arousal spiked the air around them as a result of his harsh treatment of her. It was intoxicating to Elijah and drove him on.
“Tell me, Sweetheart, to whom do you belong?” Elijah asked her gruffly in between hits to her skin.
“To you,” she moaned with quiet vagueness, her head lulling back in her pained pleasure.
That wasn’t what he wanted and she knew it. They both did. He recognized her hushed voice and the lack of his name upon her lips as a small act of defiance. His fiery state intensified in response and he brought his hand down upon her reddened flesh particularly hard on the next swing.
Eternity cried out loudly, practically screaming into the courtyard.
Elijah grabbed hold of her knotted up hair and pulled back harshly. He leaned over her again to growl in her ear, “Say my name.”
She didn’t.
Yes, he needed to amend his earlier statement about her granting him her submission. She did so, sure enough, but always with small bouts of rebellion mixed in to keep him on his toes. Eternity was of a fiery spirit, after all. She couldn’t make his authority over her easy, whoever he was in a dominate frame of mind. She always had to bite back, in some fashion, even if it was simply denying him what he asked of her.
Elijah was quite used to this behavior and changed tactics accordingly. He straightened again, running his hand over her back once more and then let his touch fall lower to the wet, warm treasure between her legs. He teased her entrance, dipping then just inside, causing Eternity to gasp in surprise and then moan as she pushed back against his hand, wanting more.
Then he thrusted his fingers inside her completely. He began thrusting them steadily, while curling them inside to drag against her walls on the way out. Her head fell forward and her hands gripped the railing tighter in response to his attentions. His thumb rubbed against her clit simultaneously, making the pleasure all the more intense as he played her like an instrument.
“Please, Elijah,” she soon moaned, though again in a quiet voice. “More.”
“Sweetheart,” he responded warningly and then he issued a threat, “If you want my cock, you’re going to have to abide by my rules. You know what I want.”
Elijah thrusted his fingers harder into her, his thumb playing along her clit in the same fashion. He brought the pleasure higher for her, causing his lady to cry out a little louder. However, it still wasn’t what he wanted. She was still holding back.
“Stop resisting,” he hissed at her, his own need driving him mad. The feel of her wet warm and the scent of it was enough to make him forget everything as the need to feel her walls wrapped around his cock grew. “Give me what I seek,” he demanded breathlessly.
Then out of instinctual need to gain her full submission to him, Elijah brought her head back further, making her bow. He let his vampire visage show and promptly sank his fangs into the flesh of her throat. That gave him what he wanted, at last.
Because it happened without warning, Eternity was unprepared for it. Therefore, she was incapable of showing resistance. She screamed his name in pained pleasure, while simultaneously, she came hard upon his fingers. He continued to drink from her, while her body quaked with orgasm.
Then he quickly released her throat. Before her body could calm completely, and as his human face returned, Elijah removed his hand from her hair to reach down and undo his pants with swift deft fingers. Again without warning, he removed his fingers from her depths and then proceeded to bury himself inside her to the hilt, making Eternity scream once more in pleasant surprise. Then she moaned needfully and pushed back.
His head lulled back as he groaned. His eyes screwed shut at the feeling of her tightly clenched around his cock. Finally, they were joined and Elijah had to breath a sigh of relief for that. With how wound up he was from his out of control emotions and how he desired the beautiful immortal before him, being inside her created the right sort of clarity he needed to calm the turmoil in him.
Immediately, he began to move. Slowly pulling nearly all the way out and then slamming back into her. He set the rhythm exactly like this, moving roughly behind her. She cried out with abandon, the sound of it echoing powerfully across the courtyard. His name soon followed in the same fashion.
“Oh, good girl,” Elijah praises her breathlessly, leaning down to kiss her back tenderly. “That’s it. Don’t stop screaming my name, Sweetheart.”
He moved even harder, slamming into her depths rougher than before, bringing their approaching climaxes to a head. It was Eternity who came first, her walls clamping down upon him as her orgasm wreaked her so completely. She screamed his name even louder this time with her hands clutching the rail so tightly that it snapped beneath her grasp.
Her quaking walls triggered Elijah’s own end and he came with a roar. Once the violent bliss had finished consuming him, he collapsed over Eternity’s back in the aftermath, as both of them breathed heavily in the quiet. Elijah felt the green monster returned to dormancy inside him and his anger over the events of the evening had gone with his orgasmic euphoria as well.
With the world coming back into focus, he removed himself from Eternity’s depths and untied her, freeing her from her binds. Fluidly, she turned on him, practically throwing herself at Elijah, as she wrapped her hands around his face and kissed him with everything she had.
“I hope you’ve had your fun, my love,” she breathed against his mouth, “because I’m about to pay you back for everything ten fold. I’m about to put that famous control of yours to the test.”
Elijah shivered delightedly, grinning at her wickedly, “Well, I look forward to it, Sweetheart.”
With that, Eternity separated herself from his person and moved around him to head inside with the expectation of him following.
Just as he was going to, he paused as he felt someone watching him. Elijah looked over across the way and saw the partially shadowed figure of Kol standing there gaping. He didn’t know how long his brother had been standing there, but it was obvious he had been watching long enough to get the point. Eternity was Elijah’s and nobody was ever going to come between them.
Elijah smirked victoriously at his brother and nodded in acknowledgment of his presence. Upon his notice did Kol vanish from sight, finally understanding that Eternity would never be his.
Once his brother was gone, Elijah went inside to where his lady was awaiting him, finally freed of the green monster of jealousy.

Chapter 157: Break Free
After making sure Tilly got something to eat and dropping her off somewhere safe, David drove to Hyperion General, which confused Rogers a bit.
"Why are we at the hospital?" he questioned, as David shut the engine off.
"Because both Weaver and I are convinced that either Belfry or Stavros has a mole at the station. I don't want the crime lab touching this," David said, as he held up the bag with the glass in it.
"You think the mole will tamper with the results," Rogers stated.
"I'm certain they will, so I need to have a different lab run the test. Weaver gave me a recommendation for a young doctor that he is sure can't be bought," David said, as they headed inside.
Rogers followed his partner, as he approached a nurse's station.
"Hi...I'm looking for a doctor Aeson," he requested.
"You must be Detective Nolan," a voice answered, before the nurse at the desk could. David looked toward the source and found a young, raven haired woman in a lab coat standing there. He was struck by how familiar she seemed and shook her hand, as she put it out.
"I am...you're doctor Aeson?" he asked. She nodded.
"Jenna Aeson...Captain Weaver said you need a favor and that it's a bit sensitive?" she asked. He nodded.
"I need a DNA test done and a very important case could be compromised by the police lab. I am hoping for more discretion here," he replied. She nodded and motioned them to follow.
"I can help you with that. I assume you want this done right away?" she asked. He nodded.
"That would be great," he said, as he handed her the DNA sources, which were Clayton's glass and a hair he managed to snatch from Mary's hairbrush.
"And what markers am I testing?" Jenna asked.
"Sibling markers. I want to know if the two people that these samples are from are related in any way," David replied. She nodded.
"I need a little time, but it shouldn't take me long. Can I get a number to call?" she asked.
"Actually...I'd like to wait for it. This is really important. The life of a mother and her son could be at stake," he replied. Jenna seemed intrigued by that.
"All right...I'll get it done right away, Detectives," she agreed, as she went into the lab.

That afternoon, after work, Jacinda pounded the pavement, as she plead their case to anyone that would listen to them, regarding the Community garden. People were really responding to her petition and it instantly gave her hope.
"Thank you so much," Jacinda said, as she filled yet another page of signatures.
"Is it true, Mom? Are you fighting grandma for the garden?" Lucy asked, as she arrived from school and ran up to her.
"I am...but what are you doing here? Isn't the bus supposed to take you to Grandma's?" Jacinda asked. Lucy shrugged.
"I decided to get off here," she replied.
"Honey...I love that you came to see me, but you can't just run off. It doesn't help us," she chided.
"But I should be with you," Lucy whined.
"I know...that's why I'm doing this. For you," Jacinda promised, as Mary and Bobby approached. The raven haired beauty handed her a clipboard and Jacinda's eyes widened.
"You got all these signatures?" she asked. Mary nodded.
"It seems that this neighborhood would rather keep a small, but beautiful garden than have to look at yet another skyscraper," Mary replied. Jacinda smiled.
"Then...we did it," she realized.
"This is enough! We did it!" Jacinda said, as she hugged her daughter.
"We couldn't have done it without you," Jacinda said.
"We loved helping. We both love that garden too," Mary said, as she hugged her son close to her side.
"Does this mean Ms. Belfry won't be able to destroy the garden?" Bobby asked.
"We're hoping so...the voice of the people can be a powerful thing. It's not likely that a judge will ignore that," Mary reasoned.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Ms. Blanchard," Victoria interjected, as she walked up to them.
"You can't stop us...we're filing that injunction," Jacinda warned.
"Ms. Blanchard...you and your unruly son are not needed in this conversation. I'd like to speak to my step-daughter alone," she said, as Ivy approached and took Lucy's hand, as she led her away. Mary gave the other woman a good glare, before leading Bobby back to Roni's.
"Getting me alone isn't going to change my mind," Jacinda refuted.
"Oh, I think it will...because you won't be able to resist what I'm about to offer," Victoria countered.
"And what exactly is that?" Jacinda questioned.
"Drop this petition now...and you and Lucy can have one of the condominiums that will be built where that useless little garden is," Victoria offered. Jacinda narrowed her eyes.
"If I drop the petition...you'll give custody of Lucy back to me?" she questioned.
"That is the offer...like I said, it's one you can't or shouldn't refuse," Victoria responded. Jacinda looked at the petition and then back at her step-mother.
"This offer expires at the end of the day," Victoria said, as she walked away. Jacinda first instinct was of course to throw the clipboard away, but since Mary and Roni had been such a huge help, she decided to go to the bar and at least tell them that she planned to not file the injunction. They deserved that much.

Enchanted Forest 3
Storybrooke Year 2021
"So...the assassination attempt on Prince Gregor was because you believed he was responsible for killing your father?" Snow asked. Ella nodded.
"But according to Tiana, that was all a set up by my step-mother. She wanted me at that ball that night so she could pin the murder on me," Ella answered. It was a bit of Deja Vu for Snow. Regina had pinned Leopold's murder on her and used it as a reason to pursue her. But Tremaine definitely seemed to have different motivations here than Regina did. Regina's marriage to Snow's father had been forced, but from what she had gathered, that wasn't the case with Tremaine. She had once had a loving marriage and Ella didn't divulge the reasons that her father ended up marrying Ella's mother, but it was definitely clear that this Lady Tremaine was as cold-hearted as her counterpart that had once tortured Snow.
"She blames me…she thinks I'm the reason that Anastasia died," Ella confessed.
"Are you?" Snow asked.
"Yes…" Ella replied. Snow put a hand on her shoulder.
"Are you really? Because my husband once asked me the same question about Regina," she said, as Ella turned to her.
"A very long time ago...Regina blamed me for ruining her life and for a long time...I blamed me too," Snow confessed.
"But you didn't?" Ella asked.
"Some people would say I did, but I was just a child at the time. I was manipulated by Regina's mother into telling a secret. I didn't know what I was doing or how evil Cora really was then. But my telling the secret got the man that Regina loved killed," Snow replied. Ella lowered her head.
"We...the three of us, Ana, Drizella, and me fell through the ice. My father...he managed to pull us all out, but Ana was last and it wasn't in time," she told her.
"That's why she blames you," Snow said. Ella nodded and Snow put both hands on the young woman's shoulders so she could look her in the eyes.
"Listen to me...what happened sounds like it was a horrible accident that you are absolutely not responsible for," Snow implored.
"Ana was her favorite...her perfect daughter," Ella argued.
"Then your step-mother was wrong in the first place for even having a favorite," Snow said. Ella nodded.
"I know parents say they don't have favorites, but it's true that some do," she reminded. Snow nodded.
"Some do, I suppose," she agreed.
"But you don't?" Ella asked.
"Goodness no...Charming and I do not play favorites with our children. Obviously our younger ones get more attention than our older ones now, but that's to be expected. Emma, Leo, and Eva have their own lives. But Charming and I really tried to make sure none of them ever felt left out when they were growing up," Snow explained.
"Emma was eleven when the twins were born, but we were determined to make sure she didn't feel left out and I think we succeeded for the most part," she said.
"You did," Emma said fondly.
"Sorry...didn't mean to interrupt," she added.
"That's okay...Ella and I were just exchanging histories," Snow said, as she took the girl's hands.
"Listen...back to what I said about not blaming yourself...I know what it is to shoulder such a burden. It took me a very long time and my husband and eldest daughter to convince me until they were both blue in the face that I am not the reason Daniel was killed," Snow expressed.
"Cora used me to confirm what she already suspected and I'd like to think that Regina realizes now that her mother would have done exactly what she did, regardless of whether or not I told that secret," she continued.
"I do," Regina confirmed with a warm smile, as she joined them. Snow smiled.
"Your situation is different than ours. Your father pulled the three of you out of icy waters. It was a terrible accident and it is not your fault. Accepting that will help you move on," Snow said.
"But my step-mother will never accept that. She'll never move on," Ella warned.
"Then she's not fit to lead a Kingdom and this resistance will overcome her. Believe me...I know better than any that good always wins over evil," Regina replied.
"She's right. What happened to your family was terribly tragic and I cannot imagine losing one of my babies. I like to think though that, if I did, I'd still be there for my other children. But it doesn't sound like Lady Tremaine has even been there for Drizella," Snow said. Ella nodded.
"She hasn't...it's changed Drizella. She's become as cold and devious as her mother," she said sadly.
"I'm sorry...but I want you to know that you're not alone anymore," Snow said, as she looked around at the others.
"This is your new family," Snow said, as she hugged her and then left her to talk with Emma, who smiled at the still stunned look on the other woman's face.
"Is she...always like that? So warm and accepting?" Ella asked. Emma grinned.
"Yep...that's my Mom...and my Dad," she replied, as she watched fondly at the way her father's face lit up at the sight of her mother. And then she rolled her eyes, as they started kissing. She looked at Ella, who still looked uncertain.
"Hey...she's right. This family...has been through a lot, but if there is one thing I know about my parents...nothing defeats love. Especially not a love like they have. We'll win this," Emma promised, with a smile, as she left the young woman to her thoughts. And Ella wanted to believe her, but she was too conflicted and didn't like the thought of all these people making sacrifices for a problem that she had created. And that's why she knew exactly what she had to do...

Hyperion Heights
Jacinda entered Roni's bar with a forlorn look on her face and was deep in thought about what she was intending to do.
"Hey...Mary told me the good news. You got enough signatures on the petition," Roni said, noticing her preoccupation.
"Except...I think I have to throw them all away," Jacinda confessed. Mary turned from her spot at the sink.
"What? Why?" she questioned.
"Victoria made me an offer...if I drop the injunction, she'll give me one of the condos that's going to be built...and custody of Lucy back," Jacinda told them.
"But...she can't be trusted. And even if she holds up her end...she'll never stop holding it over your head," Mary argued.
"But I'll have Lucy...this is what's best for her. You have to understand," Jacinda pleaded.
"What if it was Bobby? You'd do anything to be with your son," she added.
"I would...but Victoria will try to run your lives," Mary argued.
"It's a small price to pay," Jacinda said, as she pushed the clipboard away.
"I'm getting my daughter back and if that means dropping the petition...then that's what I have to do," she said.
"What?" a voice said, as Jacinda turned to find her daughter there, mouth ajar.
"You gave into her?" Lucy asked.
"Lucy…" she started to say. But the little girl started backing away.
"You promised to fight her!" Lucy cried.
"Lucy...this is what's best. We can be together this way," Jacinda argued.
"No, she won't! If she gets her way, then the curse will never be broken!" the girl cried.
"Lucy...there is no curse," Jacinda snapped, as she held onto her daughter's arms.
"This is real life and sometimes parents have to make tough choices. This is one of those times," Jacinda said sternly. But Lucy shook her head.
"No...you're just giving up. Grandma is hiding something and I'm going to prove it!" Lucy cried, as she hurried out. Jacinda sighed and went after her. Mary sighed and looked up, as someone came into the bar. Her blood boiled, as Clayton waltzed in with a smug smirk on his face.
"Hello...dear sister," he greeted.
"Get out," Mary snapped.
"Oh...I can't do that and soon the van from Dr. Samdi's clinic will arrive to take you back to where you belong," he told her. Fear crept up inside Mary, as she eyed the folder in his hand, which was from the courthouse.
~*~
David practically paced a hole in the floor, as they waited on the doctor to return with the test results.
"Mate…" Rogers called out, slightly annoyed. David sighed and sat down beside him.
"Sorry...I just have a bad gut feeling that we don't have much time. Clayton Stavros isn't the type to sit back and wait to strike back," the blonde said.
"Then you're certain he will try something? Like getting that order revoked?" Rogers questioned.
"He has power of attorney over Mary. The order Weaver got could easily be revoked by another Judge, especially one on Stavros' payroll. Trust me, he's trying to do just that. I know it and I can't let that happen," he lamented.
"You care for her," Rogers muttered. He sighed.
"It's...complicated. I don't even know what it is, to be honest. I just met her and it sounds crazy...but I feel like I've known her for most of my life," he confessed.
"Like this is some other life that you're just acting out...and none of this is really where you're supposed to be," Rogers said, as David looked at him in surprise.
"How…?" he asked. Rogers shrugged.
"I feel like that all the time...like I'm just mulling through this life. Like something very important is missing. I just haven't found that yet...but it seems like you have," he mentioned. Those words left David deep in thought. It was more evidence that Bobby might be right, but could all that really be true? Bobby's book was some of the most fantastical stuff David had ever read and he hadn't even gotten all the way through it. How could it even be possible? He was about to continue laboring over it in his head when the raven haired doctor reappeared from her lab with an official folder.
"Well?" David asked.
"Your suspicions were absolutely correct, Detective Nolan," she replied, as she handed him the folder. He opened it, as she continued talking.
"The male DNA I tested was in no way a match for sibling markers against the female DNA you provided," she reported.
"I knew it…" he hissed, as he looked at the results, just as his phone rang.
"Detective Nolan," he answered.
"David...it's Roni. You need to get down here now. Clayton is here claiming that he got the court order that released Mary revoked. He says that Dr. Samdi's orderlies are on the way to take her back to that place," Roni said. His heart clenched in his chest.
"Stall them as long as you can...we're on our way," he said.
"Thank you doctor," he said quickly, as he looked at his partner.
"We need to go now," he implored.
"Good luck!" she called, as she watched them go.
~*~
Tears threatened to fall, as Snow faced going back to that horrible place and being separated from not only her children this time, but David again as well. She was trying to keep her emotions in check, but just the thought of going back to all those haunted nights inside that tiny room and the pills being forced down her was enough to threaten a complete breakdown. Not to mention, Dr. Samdi's abusive orderlies and the frightening nightmares. No...she couldn't go back there. She could lose Bobby again. She couldn't lose David and Summer either now that she found them again.
"I'm not going back there," Snow cried, as Bobby clung to her and the orderlies entered the bar.
"This piece of paper says that you are," Clayton countered.
"Let's make this easy for once, Ms. Blanchard," Horace requested.
"No...you can't take her! You can't take my Mom again!" Bobby shouted. Clayton pointed a stern finger at him too.
"If you think you're going to have the same freedoms you had before, young man, then you're mistaken too," Clayton hissed.
"What are you talking about?" Mary asked. He smirked and took out another piece of paper from his jacket pocket.
"I got Bobby into a nice boarding school overseas...one where, if we're lucky, he'll learn a little discipline," Clayton replied, as he held up the document. Mary snatched it away and her eyes widened.
"You're sending him to England?" she asked.
"It's for the best," he replied.
"No...it's not! You're taking my son away from me...I'm his mother," she said, as the tears finally came and she broke down sobbing.
"You are not fit to take care of yourself, let alone raise him. You're a sick woman, Mary," he said.
"No...I'm not! There is nothing wrong with me and you know it, you bastard!" she shouted. He rolled his eyes.
"Gentlemen...please remove her from these premises. Everything is in order with a Judge. She is to be returned to Dr. Samdi's facility and this time...for good," he said coldly. Mary started to panic when she saw Jasper extract a capped needle from his back and take it off.
"No...please!" she pleaded, as he started toward her, just as David burst into the bar.
"Don't take another step toward her!" David growled. Relief filled her, as he put himself in between her and the orderlies.
"You have no legal authority here, Detective. A Judge has overturned Captain Weaver's little injunction he filed to get her released. And believe me, that won't happen again," Clayton said smugly.
"Wrong...she's not going anywhere, because you're the one with no legal authority here," David replied, he held up his own file.
"What's this?" Clayton questioned.
"A DNA test...comparing yours to Mary's and it turns out that there is no match. You're not related to her or Bobby, which makes your power of attorney over her and custody of Bobby null and void," David retorted. A deep scowl marred Clayton's face and he glowered at the blonde.
"My partner is on his way to a Judge with a copy of this test as we speak; a Judge not in your pocket too. You have no power over her or her son now...and you never will again," David said, as he spotted his partner coming into the bar.
"Mr. Stavros...this is a Court order revoking your power of attorney over Mary Blanchard and your custody of young Bobby Blanchard, as you are of no relation to them," Rogers stated. David smirked, as he watched the other man nearly turn red in rage.
"She is a crazy...she thinks she's Snow White half the time!" Clayton growled.
"Her Dissociative Identity Disorder is not a threat to anyone and since you had her committed with falsified papers, claiming to be her brother, there's going to an investigation," David stated. This time, he was the smug one.
"You're going to regret this, Detective. Mark my words…" Clayton seethed, as he stormed out and the orderlies followed him. Roni and Bobby let out cheers of joy, as she hugged the boy and then Mary, who was stunned and still crying. David noticed the crumpled piece of paper on the floor and picked it up.
"What's this?" he asked.
"Clayton was going to send Bobby away to boarding school overseas," she sniffed.
"You saved us...again. You kept me from losing my son again," she cried.
"I'm just glad I proved he wasn't really your brother in time, though I'm curious as to why he was even posing as your sibling in the first place," he mentioned.
"I can probably think of a few reasons...but for now, let's just leave it at he's a very evil man," she replied. He nodded in agreement, as silence passed between them and they stared at each other.
"Thank you doesn't quite sound like enough for what you just did," she said, choking back more tears. He swallowed thickly and felt a jolt in his chest when his hand brushed hers. And then without being able to help herself, Snow stepped forward, boldly grabbed him by his collar and pressed her lips to his. Rogers smirked and politely looked away, as Roni just smiled on. Bobby was excitedly texting Iris to tell her that their parents were actually kissing. Even if it didn't restore his Dad's memories yet, he knew it meant that his Dad, even in his cursed state, would fall in love with her.
Snow suddenly remembered that he, in fact, did not have his memory back and she broke the kiss.
"Oh! I...I shouldn't have done that...you barely know me," she said, chiding herself. But she had gotten caught up in the moment and he was there. Kissing him was like a thing of second nature to them usually. But she was afraid her boldness would make him pull away. But to her surprise, he leaned back in and pressed his lips to hers again, kissing her breathless.
"I don't know why, but when we kissed...I felt like you were inside my soul," he muttered.
"Mmm..and our hearts were one," she murmured. He looked at her in amazement and somehow saw answers in her eyes that mirrored the questions in his.
"There's...things I'm feeling...and seeing that I don't have logical answers to. But then...all the answers seem to be you and it makes no sense and perfect sense at the same time," he confessed.
"I might have answers...but this wouldn't be the place," she responded.
"Then later...we'll talk?" he asked. She nodded. She didn't know how much she could tell him yet, but if he wanted to talk, then she was going to let him and listen with rapt attention. She wanted her husband back and she wanted him now. For the moment though, they said goodbye to Roni and Rogers, before getting Bobby and going home.

Henry was relieved when his current customer vacated his car, for he smelled like he had bathed in a week.
"Damn...now the whole car reeks," he muttered, as the man waved. He plastered on a fake smile and waved politely. Once the man turned away he dug through his glove box and tossed several air fresheners into the back seat.
"Ugh…" he groaned, as he was about to drive away...until he saw Lucy in the community garden. There was some dangerous equipment around and she looked to be unsupervised. He parked the car and got out, before jogging into the garden.
"Hey kid...what's up?" Henry asked. She looked up, like she had been caught, and then sighed.
"I'm trying to prove the curse is real," she confessed.
"Really? By climbing in an underground hole?" he questioned.
"You don't understand!" she lamented. He put his hands up.
"Okay...why don't you explain it to me then," he replied.
"Why? So you can humor me and then impart some wisdom about life and reality?" she replied sassily.
"Damn...okay. I promise there will be no humoring or lesson. Just me listening," he said. She sighed.
"My Grandma is tearing down this garden to put up some condominiums," Lucy said.
"Progress...yeah sometimes it stinks. I think I prefer the garden," Henry replied.
"Me too! And I thought Mom did and we were going to fight her! But then she just caved into Victoria's demands and gave up!" Lucy ranted. He sighed.
"Lucy...your Mom loves you very much. If she did decide against fighting Victoria on this, then I know it was because she feels it's what's best for you," he replied.
"I know...but she doesn't understand! Grandma is hiding something here! That's why she's trying to destroy it...I know it and I'm going to prove it!" Lucy cried, as she started going down into the hole.
"Wait...Lucy! Stop!" Henry cried, as he tried to grab her, but she was already too far down in it.
"Come on! Maybe we can find what she's hiding together!" Lucy called, as she trekked further into an underground tunnel.
"Dammit...this kid," Henry growled, as he went after her.

A glass shattered on the wall in his Office, as he chucked it in rage.
"Damn them!" he growled, as he tossed the chair through the glass window of his office and turned his desk over. His office was completely trashed, but he couldn't see through anything but his anger at that moment.
"My, my, I do hope all the charity money that I donate to your little museum won't be going to fix the damages you're causing to your office," Baron Samdi stated, as he appeared.
"You…" Clayton growled.
"You told me they wouldn't be an issue…" the Collector hissed.
"Wrong Collector...I told you that they couldn't break the curse. I didn't tell you that they would not find each other. I did not tell you that they wouldn't fall in love, for they are the truest in all the realms. There is nothing you or I can do to keep them apart forever. We are lucky we achieved two years," Samdi corrected.
"He exposed that I'm not really her brother! I have no power over her anymore! Which means he'll just keep poking his nose into my operation!" Clayton yelled.
"Then take care of him," Baron suggested.
"You know it's not that simple with them!" Clayton ranted.
"When I made Snow White crush her husband's heart, it was in a place of magic and seizing the power of the chalice was possible for mere seconds. But if one of them were to die in a place without magic...the chalice would be useless forever!" Clayton reminded.
"Believe me, if killing those two idiots was our goal, I would have done it already," he seethed.
"I was actually suggesting you use other methods to convince the detective that pursuing an investigation into any of us would come at a great cost to him," Baron retorted, as he slid a photo of Iris over to the other man. Clayton smirked.
"Now that is a plan I can work with," he agreed.

the lives we live;
Once Upon A Time x Stargate Universe
Detective Weaver and Dr. Nicholas Rush; No Slash.
{Mentions of Belle French and Lacey.}
About; Just two men meeting for dinner at the end of their days of work. Neither in the best of moods and both in need of something more in their life. Yet neither are willing to let things happen as they should.
It had been another one of those days on the job. One that was both dull and unrewarding. Where a man only knew one thing to do when it came to the end. “It took ye long enough.” A middle age man was seated alone at a table. Close to the back of the establishment that another man. A police officer had walked into. “Aye, well. I got backed up by the fuckin’ rookie cunt needing my signature on the last of his shite papers.”
Neither man that had spoken were in the best of moods.
One looked as if he hadn’t slept in days. Stubble upon his face that was growing all the more thicker by the days. While the other was clean shaven but worn down. His hair more gray than the man before him. But clean cut as the other male was shoulder length and still a vibrate brown peppered with silver streaks.
“Always blaming the rookie...”
The officer sat down at the table where the other man was seated. It was always odd staring across the table at a better looking version of yourself. That’s what the officer thought at times. When he came to his favorite restaurant and found the other waiting for him.
“Tell me. Is this the same one or have they traded you out again?” The younger man spoke and the cop smiled.
“New one of course. The last didn’t make it a week before he was trying to fault me for every little thing.” He shook his head. As an officer; Detective Weaver had his ways of doing things. That even the people above him didn’t care for...but he got the job done.
Which was all that ever matter in the end.
“And you...what was it. That government shite you were going on about last time.”
Dr. Rush; or Professor Nicholas Rush to his students. Gave a frown and shook his head. “Nothing is going on with that.” He lied. Of course the detective knew he was lying but also knew Nicholas had his reasons for it.
“Right.”
Weaver didn’t have a chance to try and pry into the topic. When a waitress came over with two beers and sat them on the table by the men. “Your orders will be ready shortly.” She informed while Weaver nodded and then shot a glare across at the other.
“So yer ordering for me now?” Nicholas laughed and shook his head. Taking a notepad out of his blazer and nodding across at the other man.
“Aye, you were late and I ordered the same shite you always decide on.”
Weaver would have tried to argue with him if it were any other day. But this one was different. He reached for the bottle before him and took it in hand. “Ye think ye know me so well.” The detective spoke as the other man gave a smirk. Turning his attention down to the notepad in his hand.
“She came back for more.” Weaver braved.
It was then that the older male took the first sip of his glass bottle beer. While the man seated across from him gave the other his full attention. “You can’t be serious.” It was a topic the two had been on for the past few weeks. The thought of a young woman in her mid twenties going after the fifty something detective was insanity. At least the forty something across from him thought so.
“You are making this whole thing up!”
It had happen not too far back. From what Rush had gotten and the way the detective had put it. That he had charmed a young thing so much that she had asked him back to her place.
In the picture Weaver had painted. She was this smooth seductress with an eye for things she didn’t dare speak of. A woman who went by the name of Lacey when he was sure it was just a name of choice and not something given. “Ye wish I was; but last night there she was. On her knees begging me.” Nicholas shook his head and closed the notepad in his hand.
“Say I believed you. Why do ye keep lying about the way you are with her?”
Something about the way he described the woman. It had struct a nerve with the professor. “You’ve gone on saying she was the most beautiful lass ye ever saw. Her eyes are like the ocean and her beauty is unmatched...but then ye talk about making her beg for ye...and ruining her.”
Nicholas shook his head at the thought. The first time Weaver had brought up the woman. Something about her was familiar. As if she was someone he knew, or had once known. “Ye ur just jealous.” Weaver retorted. Just as the waitress returned placing two plates in front of the men.
One of the men had a simple plate of bangers & mash. While the other half shepherds pie with a monticello salad. At McPherson’s the two men where able to revisit a taste of their past. They were able to let their Scottish blood show true and even slur the word that almost seemed watered down at times.
By the lives they now lived in the states.
“What about you?” Weaver spoke after a moment.
Grabbing his plate and pulling the thing closer to him. “That girl ye had a fling with. Anything going to come of that?”
Nicholas sat back in his chair and let his eyes fall to the Shepard's pie. “We haven’t spoke since it happen.” Rush admitted. “I-I don’t think she wants anything tae do with me.” At least from his prospective. Nicholas believed the school librarian was now on the run from the affair the two had, had away from school grounds.
“Her name was Belle, aye?”
Weaver asked as Nicholas gave a nod. Picking up a fork and picking at his plate. “Ye need to just walk up to the lass and say...’Hey, if it was really that bad. Why not have another go and we figure out where we went wrong!’” Rush pushed his plate away and threw himself back in his chair.
“Shut it! Belle isn’t some daft bird like the tart ye have been going with. She is a well respected member of the university and a bloody fine researcher.”
It was clear Rush was smitten with the younger woman. “Lacey is nae a tart, she is no better than yer prissy book worm.” He snapped then stood up. “For Christ sake Nicholas. Stop sulking and go after the bloody lass. She’s probably been avoiding ye because she thinks you want nothing to do with her. Now that she’s conquered territory.”
“Fuck off!”
Rush retorted causing Weaver to give the other man a look of ‘really?’. He smirked before slowly sitting back down. Weaver chuckled just to start on his meal. The professor sighed and reached for his plate to do the same. Both men sat there eating their food in silence for the longest time. Enjoying the meals and the beers. Until one of them finally spoke up again.
“Would it kill ye to try and be happy for yourself?” Weaver told his friend. “It’s been almost five years since Gloria’s passing. It’s not going to hurt to enjoy life a little.”
Rush didn’t say anything towards that. He glanced at the note book that had been lost aside on the table. Forgotten for the moment as he was dealing with his ‘so called friend’.
“She wants nothing to do with me.” Nicholas spoke reaching to tap the book before his eyes came up to Weaver. “Besides; I have something important going on...and I don’t think it would be right to have something come between my work and-..”
“What’s important, Rush? Finding someone worth living for...or your work? For Christ sake! You’re better than this!”
Nicholas chuckled listening to his friend’s shite response. “If what I’m dealing with is correct. If my research is correct. This is the only thing I have worth living for.” Rush tapped the note pad and Weaver just couldn’t help but feel sorry.
“I don’t believe that is true Nicholas. That can’t be true.”
Neither men spoke to one another after that. Weaver stood up not long after what he said and went off to find the waitress serving them. Nicholas sat alone in the restaurant for the longest time. After the detective had paid the bill and gone. Rush just sat alone feeling that the only man he trusted anymore. Now wanted nothing to do with him. The man he considered his only friend and family. Was now someone he was afraid to be truthful with.
“I’m sorry..” Rush whispered. An apology spoken to no one; Not even himself.

I dare you not to love this series. It’s that simple really. It is light-hearted, heart-warming, and adorable. The female lead is not only physically strong, but she is just a well-rounded character… not something that you see often on the screen (but it is getting better).
Do Bong Soon isn’t your average 27 year old woman… She has a secret…. She is super strong. A power that is passed down through the matriarchal line in the family; meaning that all the woman in her family, on her mother’s side, had or have this power. However, as they say, with great power comes great responsibility. This power comes with some fine print. If you use your power for personal means (i.e. to gain power, riches) or injure an injure person, you will lose the power and be cursed with leprosy for the rest of your life.
While her super strength is a leading factor in the story-line, it often is just used an addition. Which I love. Her powers move the plot forward but it is not a central focus for every situation.
Do Bong Soon is not the luckiest of people. She is often depicted as not being very smart, and being clumsy. She has gone through various jobs since high school because she makes simple mistakes or accidentally exposes her strength. That is until she is hired by Ahn Min-hyuk, CEO of Ainsoft (a gaming company) as his body-guard after he sees her use her strength to beat up some gangsters. Coincidentally, Ainsoft is the company Bong Soon wishes to work at as a game developer.
You can guess what follows, through working as his body-guard, she develops her skills as a gaming developer and they fall in love, and so on and so forth. It sounds really simply and cliché right? It isn’t though. While it is clear from the get go that Ahn Min-hyuk is attracted to Bong Soon and is quickly falling in love with her, she doesn’t get there as quickly (due to other factors that I will get to later). Their rapport (and the chemistry between the actors) is so natural, that you just know that these two are meant to be.
And while all this is happening, there is a sub-plot that is super intriguing. In the suburb where Bong Soon lives, women are being kidnapped. Bong Soon unintentionally gets involved in the case when she becomes the only one to have heard the culprit’s voice and beats the culprit up whilst protecting her friend.
When I started the series, I was not expecting such an intriguing sub-plot but it quickly captured my attention… It was also used as way to influence the direction of Bong Soon’s relationship with various characters.
The Characters:
Do Bong Soon
Tumblr media
Park Bo-young as Do Bong Soon
Our protagonist. She is clumsy, not all that smart, kind and loving. She has a strong sense of justice and just wants to be a normal girl.
She has had a crush on In Guk-doo, her childhood friend, since he first entered her life in middle school (I think it was around that age). She tries to make herself smaller, more delicate and elegant around him because that is what she believes he wants.
She is often told by those around her that she must be good at at least one thing – often referring to her strength. This bugged me a lot during the series, as it was obvious that she had more talents than just being strong. Sure, she wasn’t smart, but she was good person and people warmed up to her easily (when she wasn’t using her strength on them). But more importantly was a shot they showed of her room… it was covered in drawings, which indicates that she was a talented artist at the very least… something that was not commented on at all.
Tumblr media
If you look closely, she has sketches placed around her room, clearly showing she has more talents than just her strength.
Ahn Min-hyul helps her control her strength by training her.
Ahn Min-hyuk
Tumblr media
Park Hyung-sik as Ahn Min-hyuk
Our first male lead. CEO of Ainsoft. He is charming, cocky and very handsome. He has an intense dislike of the police and prefers to exact his own justice on those who threaten him, those he loves and his company.
His father earned his money through crooked deeds and used that money to pay off the police (which is why he dislikes the police so much). He has three older step-brothers, and is only close to one of them.
He hires Bong Soon as his body-guard after seeing her beat up some gangsters. He needs a body-guard because he is receiving threats and being followed. He and Bong Soon work together to uncover who is threatening him, although Bong Soon doesn’t actually do much.
He decides to train Bong Soon and help her control her strength so that she doesn’t have to fear exposing her powers. The more time Bong Soon spent with him, the more she realised that he was mostly just lonely.
I really loved him as a character despite him being quite manipulative towards to Bong Soon in regards to getting what he wants. Bong Soon often puts him in his place, and instead of being the typical male character who gets annoyed by this, he melts (sometimes physically) and just falls more in love with her.
He also took great pleasure in teasing her about his sexuality. Because he hasn’t had time to date, there were rumors spreading that he was gay. Another reason why he hired a female body-guard. He knew about Bong Soon’s crush on In Gook-du and took great pleasure in making her think that he was interested in him.

Ji Soo as In Gook-du
Our second male lead. An idealistic rookie detective who is passionate about justice…. But passionate is a bit of an understatement. He has been moved from different stations and departments because he gets a bit too aggressive in his pursuit of justice. I don’t mean aggressive as in he physically attacks culprits, I mean aggressive as in he disregards conventions and doing things in a timely manner in pursuit of culprits. He dives head first into a case without taking his time to judge the situation.
He is currently in a relationship with Jo Hee-ji (a cellist, I don’t really like her). He isn’t the best boyfriend because he is always puts his work first, often forgetting to meet up with her or if they have plans. Ultimately Jo Hee-ji breaks up with him, but because she decided she liked someone else (Bong-ki, Bong Soon’s twin brother).
He dismisses Bong Soon, and scolds her often. He literally makes her feel small for being who she is. Ugh, it really got on my nerves. Like, why did she like someone who was actually pretty horrible to her?
He instantly dislikes Min-hyuk, because of his disrespect towards the police… and this dislike grows as he watches Bong Soon and Min-hyuk grow closer and he realises that he has actually been in love with Bong Soon this entire time. Sorry buddy. Too little, too late.
Do Bong Soon’s family
Ahn Woo-yeon as Do Bong-ki
Shim Hye-jin as Hwang Jin-yi
Yoo Jae-myung as Do Chil-goo
Bong-ki is Bong Soon’s twin (younger) brother. He is a resident doctor at the hospital where Bong Soon’s unintentionally victims land up. He cares for his sister quite deeply, but likes that he is pampers by his mom and sister. After getting Gook-du’s girlfriend help at the hospital, he develops a crush on her and ends up seeing her without telling Gook-du (even after they break up).
Do Chil-goo, Bong Soon’s father, is possibly the only member of her family that truly treasures her. His wife often shouts at him, and threatens to (or actually) hits him. He runs a walnut shop and is very friendly with the customers. He is particularly friendly with Gook-du’s mother, who actually talks to him and seems to respect him.
Hwang Jin-yi…. Gosh, I could not stand her…. Bong Soon’s mother. She lost her super strength after using it to bully others into giving her money. She doesn’t actually do anything but prances about the neighbourhood as if she owns it. She is quite abusive towards her husband and doesn’t actually seem to realise it (or she realises it and refuses to acknowledge it). She constantly puts Bong Soon down, and has never really shown her any love.
She spends majority of the series trying to make Bong Soon marry/sleep with/date Min-hyuk, regardless of her daughter’s feelings. She constantly embarrasses her and dismisses her feelings.
She is very jealous of Gook-du’s mother and hates that her husband is so friendly towards her.
There is actually so much about her that I just can’t stand, but I’m going to stop here before I start ranting.

The last thing I want to chat about is their relationship. Honestly, it is one of the cutest things. And I will try not to give too many spoilers concerning the plot.
Despite Min-hyuk falling in love with her the moment he saw her, he gave her time to develop her own feelings (with a little nudging here and there). He didn’t see her strength as some monstrosity, rather it was the very thing that made her so sexy to him. He fully accepted who she was from that very moment and he didn’t need her to be anything else for him.
Bong Soon took a little time to develop feelings for him, but I think she started to realise how great he was when he was training her and didn’t once accept her apology for her breaking his things (punching bags and furniture). I think he was probably the first person to actually realise that in order for her to reach her full potential, she needed to be able to control her strength.
One of the most important moments in the series (for me) in terms of their relationship, was when Bong Soon had a bomb strapped to her and Min-hyuk could not get to her, and so he stayed by the door and was prepared to die with her. Bong Soon later than says that that was the happiest day of her life…. a strange comment to make when you consider that she was more than likely going to die that day (spoiler, she doesn’t). But when I thought about it some more, I realise why she said that.
All her life, she was made to feel second best to her brother; her crush wanted her to be small, weak and delicate. But here was man who put her first, who would stay with her so that she wouldn’t be alone. So that she knew that she was THAT important to him.
It is also important to note, that Min-hyuk never once disregarded how amazing she was, and how lucky he was to have her.

Every person really deserves to have someone look at them the way Ahn Min-hyuk looks at Do Bong Soon
The OST for this series is also just stellar. Take a listen to my favourite track from it below (note that this video contains scenes and spoilers from the series):
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon I dare you not to love this series. It's that simple really. It is light-hearted, heart-warming, and adorable.
