i first watched the bobvids' Youtube Reacts to Cosmos video before i started paying attention to view count, like, back when it was starting to matter but career Youtubers still felt like mythological creatures. so it surprises me every time i rewatch it that it didn't go viral, there are so many quotes from it that are stuck in my head forever but almost ten years later it has less than 20k views

anyway, i'm thinking abt this bc i tried to search "youtube reacts to cosmos," the video title, like i always do when i want to relive one of the funniest videos ever but this time it just showed me a bunch of irrelevant-but-more-viewed content. i had to put "bobvids" on the end for it to show up at all, and i was lucky that i remembered the channel name. how much really funny or interesting stuff is getting buried by this godawful search algorithm
