Daily Scripture Text:
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." - 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (King James Version)
Commentary:
1 Thessalonians 5:11 highlights the importance of mutual encouragement and edification within the Christian community. This verse reminds believers of their responsibility to uplift and support one another in their faith journey. By offering words of encouragement and building each other up, believers contribute to the spiritual growth and strength of the body of Christ. This verse serves as a call to action for believers to actively engage in acts of kindness, affirmation, and support towards their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Questions:
How do you practice encouragement and support within your Christian community?
In what ways have you experienced the impact of encouragement from others in your own life?
How can you intentionally seek opportunities to build up and edify those around you?
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank you for the reminder to encourage one another and build each other up, as instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Help us to be mindful of the power of our words and actions in uplifting and supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ. Grant us the grace to extend kindness, affirmation, and encouragement to those around us, fostering a spirit of unity and love within the body of Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.
In your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of L.D., an 11-yr-old girl who passed of cancer this morning, as well as for her family. Thank you & God bless.

Matthew 9:10-13 | KJV
10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
