Caregiver Sebastian Michaelis x Little Reader Part 2

Since you all seemed to really like the first one, I wanted to make another! Enjoy!

•Sebastian is an avid reader, interested in peering into the human mindset through writing, and he is partial to horror, philosophy and linguistic studies. However, he tries to get you to read and will help pick out children’s stories and fables in little bookshops around London for you to read.

•He knows this method of convincing you to read a little bit may not work, and he is fully prepared. When he has free time or when Ciel is away on business, he puts on tiny little plays with you, dressing you up as a princess if the book he wants to read with you is princess themed, or he himself donning a pair of wolf ears if you two read a story with the big bad wolf. (Nothing too scary of course!)

•Sebastian tries to give you little assignments here and there so that he feels that even though he has to work for Ciel constantly, his days full of busy butler nonsense, he can ensure that you can be entertained and educated. He still wants you to enjoy it, however, and ends up giving you coloring assignments and light writing. One of his favorite assignments is having you write a few sentences about cats! On an assignment that he feels you did particularly well on, little to no grammar mistakes or more complex words he wouldn’t expect from a little, he’ll let you pick one reward! This can range from an extra hour to stay up, picking the next dessert you two bake, or getting your daddy to draw a little animal with you in place of a star or sticker he usually gives you.

•Your little voice may be hard to hear, and if you are nonverbal, Sebastian tries to find other methods of communication. He works on teaching you a few basic signs in sign language, or encourages you to express your thoughts and emotions through drawings and simple writing. He’ll hold you on his lap, with a pretty notebook with lace and flower trim extended out in front of you two, and he’ll watch patiently as your little hands scribble out pictures of daisies and bunnies, little hearts planted around them. Sebastian would make every effort to carry you around the garden more, and gifting you a few more funtom bunnies for your collection.

•Dressing you, brushing your hair, cleaning your teeth, and even feeding you are the little rituals Sebastian enacts on a daily basis. He even enjoys to clean and decorate your nails every other week, making sure his little baby is groomed nice and well!

•Sebastian is obsessed with your little side, as it gives him a little confidence boost to know you chose him as your daddy, and those little words of appreciation, “thank you daddy,” feed into his compliment seeking attitude. It also allows him lots of control in the relationship, keeping his baby out of danger and telling his little what you can and can not do, and where you can and can not go.

•There are some instances where Sebastian can not always protect his little from the horrors of the outside world, and he tries to teach you this through much more babied terms and lessons. This is partially why he tries to get you to read children’s books, as even though he knows you are the smartest baby in the world, he worries about how naive you can be and most stories hold lessons. He tends to insert stories of his own into the mix about how the young master gets kidnapped when he isn’t being careful, and even the story of the undertaker hurting him on the Campania, (though he spares you from the gore in exchange for “he gave me a big boo-boo, right here honey, because I wasn’t careful. I never want that for you…”).

•When you are his little shadow in the manor, he likes to give you little chores to help raise your self-confidence. He’ll have you put some new water in the vases, (as he holds them for you), counting how many clothes he hangs up on the clothesline, (crouching besides you once finished and pointing at each one as you two count up, “One, two… three! That’s right my darling! Daddy is so proud of you!”), and helping put frosting on the young master’s desserts, (“And what color is that?” He would ask, holding up the finished cupcake, mouthing the correct color. “Pink! That’s right, very good my angel…”).

Bonus! Some incorporations of little!ciel in the mix. (These headcanons are still only based on Sebastian x reader, however, and simply incorporate a platonic love between Ciel and the reader, as well as a platonic love between Ciel and Sebastian.)

•Sebastian loves to spoil you to no end with gifts, but when Ciel slowly pieces together you’re a little, expect candy, sweets, toys, little clothes with ruffles and buttons, shoes with little to no heel, and little shakers that have been custom made to your favorite colors and interests.

•Ciel is also a little, and even though he prefers to keep to himself when regressing just out of pride, sometimes he will let Sebastian organize little get togethers between you two, where Sebastian can show a softer side Ciel would usually criticize. Sebastian rubbing your back as you talk about your favorite stuffies, timid and shyly, while Ciel listens intently, scribbling drawings of new funtom bunny designs down inspired by your tastes.

•When Ciel is not regressed, he doesn’t mind seeing your little side, and is actually quite protective of you, making sure to keep an eye on you in public if he’s sent Sebastian on an errand. He makes sure to hold your hand when you two have to cross a street and when it gets busy in shops.

WIP Wednesday

Here's a snippet from chapter 7 of Fatherly Love:

Ciel's eyes slowly fluttered open. He lazily sucked on his dummy as he basked in Sebastian's soothing touch, before eventually turning his head and blinking up at the man.

"Good morning, dear one. Did you sleep well?"

Ciel groggily nodded his head, then rolled onto his back and gave a big stretch.

Sebastian smiled down at the boy and moved his hand into his sleep tousled hair, smoothing it out some. "Are you ready for breakfast, then?"

Ciel nodded again and pulled his arms out from underneath his blanket, holding them up towards Sebastian in a silent plea to be picked up.

Sebastian happily obliged and lifted the regressed boy out of the crib. Ciel wrapped his arms and legs around the demon and laid his head on his shoulder, a yawn escaping him from around his dummy.

"But first, let us get your nappy changed and get you dressed for the day."

The butler laid Ciel down the changing table, stripping him out of his nightshirt and the wet garment within minutes. After wiping him down and getting him into a fresh nappy, Sebastian went into the walk-in closet to retrieve one of the new outfits he garnered for his little Master for when he was regressed. He decided on a dark blue, long-sleeved dress with a white bow around the neck and a pair of brown leather boots.

Once the boy was dressed, Sebastian hefted him back into his arms and began to head to the door. Before Sebastian could cross the threshold, however, Ciel emitted a low whine and grasping for something over the man's shoulder.

"What is it, little one?"

"Lulu," Ciel responded, still grabbing at the air behind him.

Sebastian slightly titled his head in confusion at the unusual sounding word, unable to put a description to it. He looked over his shoulder in the direction that Ciel was fixated on; the crib. Or more specifically, the rainbow striped blanket inside. Now he understood what the boy meant.

Warmth filled Sebastian's chest. He loved seeing his little one had already grown so attached to the blanket that he even gave the colorful garment a special name.

"Ah, I see now. How silly of me to forget about your lulu."

Sebastian walked back over to the crib and plucked the blanket out, passing it to the little boy in his arms–who immediately nuzzled it against his cheek with a tiny content sigh.

With his little one calm and happy, Sebastian resumed the trek to the dining hall.

"Alright, baby, you're going to have put lulu on the back of your seat while you eat. Just so you don't get it dirty, okay?" Sebastian said as they approached the table.

🌙 Day 6: A Character you HC as a Regressor

Ciel Phantomhive from the anime Black Butler.

I think Ciel would be a Trauma Regressor.

As a little, he would be really needy, more than his big self. Constantly asking for his Caregiver, Sebastian, to either read him a story or take a walk out.
