Ooh, several questions! This'll be a bit of a long one lol (and thank you!!)

General:

3. Does she have any comments or advice when you recruit other companions?

Shadowheart: "It's not...common for a cleric to obscure their deity. I suppose I can't begrudge her commitment to secrecy."

Lae'zel: "She reminds me of my aunt... I'm not sure how I feel about that."

Astarion: "Gods, rogues [eye roll]. His dagger skills had better match his audacity."

Gale: "...Is that what all wizards are like topside?"

Wyll: "I can respect an idealist. We need someone to bring up the mood around here."

Karlach: "Oh...oh my. [Clears throat] She seems nice!"

Halsin: I can't for the life of me think of a specific line but it would be something trying (and failing) to keep cool and not show how excited she is about him officially joining the team lol. She'd be asking him a lot of questions about Surface flora and fauna in the "walking around" random dialogue.

Minthara: "She may not be a thrall of the Absolute anymore, but that doesn't mean we should bare our backs to her. Tread carefully."

Jaheira: "[Whispers] Am I supposed to recognize her? Did I miss something?"

Minsc: "Some people have a devil on their shoulder, some have a rodent. I guess."

11. Are there any moments in the game that trigger unique dialogue for her?

A few things might:

She would have a couple lines wondering why a Baenre would join the Absolute after you meet Minthara.

She talks about remembering her father mention the Society of Brilliance after you meet them in the Underdark.

She reacts...a bit badly when you meet Karn'iss and explains her own fears about becoming a drider if you talk to her afterwards, as long as your approval is high enough (moderate or higher). If you didn't get certain details in Act I, you would get them at that point.

(idk if this is what the question meant? But uh hopefully I covered it.)

8. Does she have comments on who Tav chooses to spend the night with?

For sure. For low-normal approval, she'd make a snarky comment about it and move on quickly. For moderate & higher approval she'll ask about it in an attempt to be supportive ("this is what friends do, right? This is what bonding looks like?") but if you try and give her details she gets embarrassed and backs off.

17. If romanced, how does she react to the Dark Urge trying to kill her in Act 2?

Pausing for a moment to process wtf is happening and then getting very matter-of-fact. She'd talk them through it logically, trying to keep them grounded, except for the last bit before the last saving throw, where she'd accidentally show how scared and concerned she is for them. She would very purposefully place a hand on their shoulder, arm, etc. throughout to try and reach them and show that she's not scared of them (whether or not that's true). Durge would get her Aura of Protection bonuses on their saving throws. Lots of "hey, hey, look at me"-s.

7. What questions can Zethino ask Tav about her in the Love Test?

I'm assuming this means from the pre-existing bank of questions she asks from? I got these from the love test ask game/master post(?) that veilkeeper posted.

What, if anything, do they miss most about their home?

When they die, what will be their legacy?

What is the worst thing they've ever done?

Typically, she would approve of honest, straight-forward answers and disapprove of answers that are clearly flattery or that she views as being too sugar-coated.

Finally, the modern/band AU is more than idle coffee thoughts.

In which Shadowheart is part of a three-piece metal band that gets stuck in a town called Rivington. Where happiness and a much softer life is something that she doesn't think she deserves. Where she's always in danger of falling back into the relationship with her ex, the Avatar of the cult that raised her, who just so happens to be the band's frontwoman.

Featuring a modern version of my primary Tav, Asheera, as a mechanic who's just doing her job working on the band's broken down van when things get a little more complicated. You can peek at in-game shots and art of her here and here.

thinking of doing a couple comics with Reith. One is boarded out just silly, Halsin being oblivious to hints they are his kid.

The other more serious Reith getting tossed into the bear cage and them escaping a little early. And maybe Reith having to explain why they've been lying to Halsin.

Also need to actually like. Draw Tav XD and maybe make Reith younger? both cause head-canon about elf families that made me sad from ride-a-dromedary since apparently lore has age eleven be when they stop being parented more directly by the birth parents and spread out more among the rest of the group so Halsin would miss the entire traditional bonding window in a way. But Also cause I want them to be closer to age to Yenna and the other kids and based on Oliver they are like, eight instead of 12.

There was a party member in Final Fantasy 9 who was like. 5 so I'm allowed.

General

4. What sort of general actions raise or lower their approval?

To raise Nolee's approval, you would be wise to pick choices that help other people and choosing peaceful methods where possible. Depending on the scenario she also approves of playful choices being made, such as making a joke to cheer her up.

Nolee disapproves of actions that harm others or being violent. She also disapproves of disrespect towards religions, and choosing humerous options in moments that are supposed to be serious. She also does not react well when being laughed at or blamed for when she opens about her past.

7. Do they have their own personal quest that spans the course of the game?  Can it take different branching paths depending on the choices the Player Character makes?

Her personal quest would be titled "The Disciple of Waters." and will span over the three arcs, but only being prominent in Acts 2 and 3. It basically is about dealing with a cult that is targeting her monastery, with her being the prime target There are four total outcomes that can arise from this situation, and it depends on two factors- 1 is whether her monastery is destroyed or not, and 2 is whether you spare Arias, the leader of the cult and Nolee's 'lover'. Any one of these outcomes influences Nolee's personality greatly. For example, failing to save the monastery and killing Arias will harden Nolee, and you will garner disapproval from choosing violent options less often.

7. What can they be found doing at the tiefling/goblin party?

Nolee can be found with Alfira, who will be teaching her how to play the lute. She will then invite them to sit by the lake with her, away from the others. Depending on dialogue choices, she may give Tav a smooch on the kiss (only if flirted with prior).

12. Is it possible for your Tav to be kidnapped and replaced by Orin?  How is Orin's deception revealed?  How do they react to the PC rescuing them in the Temple of Bhaal?

It is possible for Nolee to be kidnapped and replaced by Orin. If not found in the sewers, Nolee will reveal herself after an argument with Tav about submitting to the Absolute rather than destroying it, as it is the easier option and with the absolute in their control, they can still make the world better.

Nolee will express gratitude from being rescued, and open up about how terrified she was, that she thought she was going to die.

17. If romanced, how do they react to the Dark Urge trying to kill them in Act 2?

Nolee keeps a level head and helps the Dark Urge in anyway she can. She will express that she is proud of them that they are taking a step to try and work through their urges, and express appreciation for telling them, even if she is terrified. During the night when she has to tie them up, she will continuously reassure the Dark Urge that they will make it through these urges and that she will not leave them.

Romance

Is your Tav a romanceable character?  Are there any specific requirements to romancing them?

Nolee is romanceable by any gender and any class. The only requirements is that she has high enough approval with you to open up about her previous experience with relationships. (And of course her being in your party and having been flirted with prior). You can flirt with her in Act 1 but the relationship will only be official in Act 2.

6. How do they react to the player character breaking up with them, or choosing another character over them?

Nolee will be heartbroken, but understand Tav's wishes (unless they decide to continuously say "I'm breaking up with you" and then go "Lol just kidding", which will result in her getting angry.). She will admit she thought she had come off too strong and in the case of Tav choosing another companion, she will admit she felt like she was overstepping her boundaries.

7. What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?

 "Nolee: Her faith allows her to conquer any fear that may come her away, grand or small. Think. Listen. What moment brought her the most fear?" (Correct Answer: Abandoned by Arias)

"The heart is fraught, so let us turn to the joyous. Tell me, what brings her heart the most peace?" (Correct answer: Near the waters.)

"Now we must look to the future. Nolee- what does she desire most in her future?" (Correct answer: She doesn't know.)

11. What are Tav’s plans for the future?  Do they propose to the PC, or is marriage not something they’re interested in?

Nolee will admit that she has no idea what she wants to do with her life. In the good ending, it is possible to suggest a few things to her- to go back to her monastery together, to stay in Baldur's Gate or to travel. Tav can choose an option to suggest marriage, and it is then that Nolee can admit she wants to marry them, but they do not have to rush into anything.

W.I.P: Playing around with the God!Ruiz idea

Since I am assuming that the gods don't just wear the elegant robes 24/7. And I recall seeing some cool fanart of someone drawing armor for God!Gale.

For Ruiz specifically it's difficult since I can't really imagine them wearing armour (monk class and all) however I really do like how the Graceful clothes look on them, so I took inspo from that. Currently debating if I give them chest armor or if I just leave them with the metal ribcage thing.

Also gave them some chains, because yadda yadda personal lore implications. (Should note I am kind of going off the deep end and just doing whatever with this idea, since it's not the ending I gave to Ruiz and Gale. So that means I am bringing my oc into this because why not.)

Anyhow, this is basically what I do at 3 am. Thx for reading all of this.

just a fun lil personal HC i did at 3 am. Read each's quick stories below cut!

Aight here goes, sorry for the mess

💡Gale being a netrunner on a borrowed time since his cyberware is eating himself alive. His fixer (while also being his ex-lover) offered only one solution to his demise; sacrificing his corrupted virtu to temporarily cripple the Blackwall

💡Astarion, once was a big-hit lawyer and disappeared for a decade, re-emerges as one of the left hand for a big name in politic circles. Rumor is this politician used a few trusted of his people to 'house' an important experimental cyberwear to later be taken back and improved…

💡Wyll, son of Mayor Ravengard. While father wishes for him to continue down the politics, Wyll thinks it's more of a direct help to jump down on the streets directly, thus becoming an Edgerunner. Rumor has it he had dealings with people within Militech that granted him techs

💡Shadowheart, One of Arasaka's top agent. Her, being under Arasaka's teachings and guidance has little to none care for her selfish needs--that is until she was disconnected from their mainframe. Tasting the freedom and truth of her past, SH wanted to uncover all of it

💡Laezel was trained, Sponsored and backed by the Militech, she aimed to be the strongest living weapon of all times. Though, things didn't go smoothly once her implant was caught malfunctioned. She aim to regain control of her might, and refrains from being thrown away by the megacorp

💡Karla was a bodyguard of an NC political figure, then was betrayed and sold to a megacorp as a subject of experiment, and eventually broke out from there. The tech she gained DID enhance her abilities, but at the cost of it overheating and eventually gave her health problems

and a little bonus, my own Tav

💡Mira's family had been loyal to Arasaka for decades, she had also fell into the corporation hole. Until everything fell apart, Arasaka revoked everything and her family ruined by the megacorp, she sought other ways of survival and making her own name in Night City.

And of course, my durge Ian who's probably far mor familiar to some of you in cyberpunk than in BG3..
