Watching cutthroat kitchen is dangerous, but like not in ways you might think.
It’s dangerous because the more I watch it the more I NEED to write an enemies-to-lovers Sabezra Cuthroat kitchen AU
I mean imagine the banter THE BANTER

Soundtracks on British baking shows: you’ve woken up in heaven to the sounds of a million angels and baby goats with bird chirps
Soundtracks on American baking shows: The hounds of hell scream as the beat pounds into your chest and gunfire blares over an aerial shot of guspaco

Are you watching any TV series at the moment? If so, which ones?
(I just finished 'The Expanse' Season 5 on Prime and loved it!)
This is the part where you all learn I'm actually boring, because I really don't care about TV for the most part, and it's kinda hilarious to me when people ask?
See, I've noticed a few fans marveling at how productive I am-- either on the weekends themselves, or overall.... and then they ask me what I think about the latest thing that's been on TV. That I don't know about. Because I was working.
It's like, sweeties, you already know what I do with my time, and it's not TV. I'm here. I'm writing, I'm drawing, I'm researching, or I'm doing the self care dance so I can do more writing, drawing, and researching. The last time I had time to commit a piece of my brain to new media was when the Chernobyl DocuSeries hit HBO [ which is REALLY GOOD] and besides that?
Guys, I watch Food TV. Guy's Grocery Games, Cuthroat Kitchen, Chopped, ect. Sometimes TopChef, but that one hews closer to Hell's Kitchen in tone and sometimes that's exhausting. I watch cooking game shows to chill the hell out because I understand them, and I care about food, and the show doesn't expect me to do any thinking.
So, uh... short answer was 'no' on that one, chief XD

Bathing! How do people clean themselves in Kasslyne? Communal baths in Cresce (like at the Shrine)? Pymaric showers for the upper-class cuthroats of Sharteshane? Shitty, sexless tubs in Alderode?
Cresce is almost all private bathrooms! Most of the country has flush toilets and indoor plumbing, with the largest cities boasting elabourate sewers and pymary- or steam-driven pump systems. Showers aren’t really a thing but most every household has a large porcelain tub or wooden washtub. There was one of the latter hanging on the wall of Iori’s kitchen, a leftover from her days bathing babies in the sink. I had originally written a sewer scene in Ethelmik but decided the city was too small and young to have a proper sewer, so that scene went into the mines instead.
Shrines are an exception, and most have communal baths so that bathing all the twins takes less manpower. We saw Litriya’s, it’s pretty fancy.
Alderode is where you really find communal bathing houses though. Each ghers will have one - usually just off its central courtyard and garden - split between the sexes. Duane grew up in a very modest ghers, bathing himself once every few days in a big, raw stone room crowded with sitting stools, with a stream of cold running water that flowed down the centre. Bracing. Leysa’s ghers is much nicer, with hot running water and pretty stonework and tiles. The first time Duane used it and the water was heated he probably did a giddy little dance.
Sharteshanians... well, sometimes stereotypes have some truth to them. They don’t bathe that often. In Sette’s hometown it’s most common to go for a dip in the ocean when you start to feel crusty, but otherwise facilities are a hodgepodge of private baths and public, with it costing a few sem to get into the latter.

The cameras paused, as they began taking contestants away, one by one, to comment on the sabotage that they had just been offered. Shirou had to admit, he wasn’t expecting the extra break between sabotages to consider his strategy, but he wouldn’t say no to an extra minute to plan his dish. He sat down for the camera, crossing his legs as he thought about what he wanted to do. The interviewer asked her question... and he just leaned back, feeling confident. Speak in the present tense? Easy enough. “So I’m looking at this jacket,” he said, as if he were still in the Cuthroat kitchen, “and I’m considering what it means for my onigiri. The most difficult thing is going to be boiling the rice, but they have a ladle on the jacket. So I’m thinking.... bring it on.”
Oh there was more to what you were writing when I was working on the reply, huh. Well I'll post this part too because I think you're cool.

| (• ◡•)| (❍ᴥ❍ʋ): favorite tv show?
Y’all are probably not gonna be overly surprised but...I really love crime dramas lmao. Probably my fave is Criminal Minds but I’m TOTALLY obsessed with Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency atm??? It’s based on a series by Douglas Adams who wrote Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy which has had a huge influence on my life.
I also REALLY love cooking shows like Chopped and Cuthroat Kitchen, Ghost shows like Ghost Adventures and Paranormal Witness, and house shows like Property Brothers and Fixer Upper.
