Many eligible lords and sons of lords courted her, but in the end she chose to wed Lord Rodrik Arryn, who was more than twice her age, but a gentle man who would take care of her. Unfortunately, Daella fell pregnant and died shortly after delivering a healthy baby girl, Aemma. Fancast: Elle Fanning.
Daella Targaryen (b. 199 AC): Eldest daughter of Prince Maekar Targaryen, who would later become king as Maekar I, and his wife Dyanna Dayne. Her mother died when she was under 10. She had four brothers, including Aegon the Unlikely, and one sister, Rhae. Fancast: Therica Wilson-Read.

Daena Targaryen (c. 145-175 AC): Eldest daughter of King Aegon III and his wife Daenaera Velaryon. Her two elder brothers, Daeron and Baelor, became kings consecutively after her father's death. She was married to Baelor at the age of fifteen, but he refused to consummate the marriage. When Daeron was killed in Dorne and Baelor became king, he annulled their marriage and locked Daena away in the Maidenvault with her two younger sisters, so that they would not tempt any man. Daena hated this unjust imprisonment and became more and more defiant, finally giving birth to a bastard son that turned out to be fathered by her cousin Aegon. Baelor, aghast, fasted for forty days after the boy's birth and eventually collapsed and died. Many thought that Daena, being Aegon III's oldest surviving child, would become queen, but she was without political support during her imprisonment and the throne passed to her uncle Viserys instead. Daena's son would go on to become Daemon Blackfyre, who sought a crown for himself and caused the ruinous Blackfyre Rebellions. Fancast: Ellen Hollman.
Daenaera Velaryon (b. 127 AC): Second wife and queen of Aegon III and mother to five children. She was presented to Aegon at the age of six at the Maiden's Day Ball after the death of his first wife, Jaehaera. They were wed later that year, but their first child was not born until ten years later. Fancast: Alicia Agneson.
Daenerys Targaryen (53-60 AC): Eldest daughter and first child to survive infancy of Jaehaerys I and Good Queen Alysanne. She died of the Shivers when she was no more than seven. Fancast: Olivia Tennet.
Daenerys Targaryen (b. 172 AC): Only legitimate daughter of Aegon the Unworthy and his wife, Queen Naerys. At the time of her birth, her elder brother Daeron was already married and had a son. Daeron had been married to Princess Myriah Martell as part of the peace pact between Baelor I and Dorne. When Daenerys was fifteen, she was married to Maron Martell, the ruling prince of Dorne. With this marriage, Dorne was finally brought into the Seven Kingdoms under Targaryen rule. It was rumoured that Daenerys had been in love with her bastard half-brother, Daemon Blackfyre, and that her marriage to Maron instigated the First Blackfyre Rebellion, but Daenerys and Maron were, by all accounts, happy together. Maron built the Water Gardens as a gift for Daenerys, where their children could play in the summer heat along with the children of other nobles. It was Daenerys who declared that the children of the servants could play there too, starting a tradition that continues to this day. Fancast: Sinja Dieks.

Elia saving aegon was not leaving rhaenys to die. Rhaenys' death (like elia's) is extremely unusual because in both asoiaf and in real life history, daughters are VERY rarely killed. Even tywin didn't have cyrelle and rohanne tarbeck killed. This also further highlights how brutal their deaths are because there was no urgent necessity in having both elia and rhaenys killed like there was for aegon. I very much doubt elia saw it coming and she wouldn't be short sighted for not seeing it coming.

THE LANNISTERS: GEROLD LANNISTER
Gerold Lannister, also known as Gerold the Golden, was the Lord of Casterly Rock, the Shield of Lannisport, the Warden of the West, and the head of House Lannister during the reign of King Aerys I Targaryen, King Maekar I Targaryen, and part of the reign of King Aegon V Targaryen. He was the second son of Lord Damon Lannister and Lady Cerissa Brax, and the younger brother of Lord Tybolt Lannister.
Lord Gerold would have four sons: Ser Tywald, Ser Tion, Tytos, and Ser Jason Lannister.
Gerold was golden-haired and over six feet tall.
Gerold was known to be quick of wit. A genial man, Gerold was exceedingly clever. As Lord of Casterly Rock, he proved himself to be an exceptionally shrewd, able, and fair-minded lord. He enjoyed reading, especially later in his life.
Born at Casterly Rock, Gerold Lannister was the youngest son of Lord Damon Lannister, the Grey Lion. After Damon passed in 210 AC, Gerold's older brother Ser Tybolt became the Lord of Casterly Rock. By 211 AC, he was a suitor to Lady Rohanne Webber of Coldmoat, but she believed he would never willingly forsake the pleasures of Lannisport and the splendor of Casterly Rock for some little lordship, as he wielded more influence at Casterly Rock as his brother's advisor than he could ever hope for as the husband of Lady Rohanne. Lady Rohanne would eventually marry another, but some time after the passing of her fifth husband, she and Gerold were married after all. Although Gerold had no children by his first wife, Lady Alysanne Farman, he would have four sons with Rohanne: Tywald, Tion, Tytos, and Jason Lannister.
Tybolt passed away in 212 AC under suspicious circumstances, and his young daughter Cerelle succeeded him as Lady of Casterly Rock, with Gerold serving as her regent. However, in less than a year, Lady Cerelle passed away. The suddenness of Cerelle's death quickly led to rumors that Gerold has murdered his niece, the most common tale claiming that he had smothered her with a pillow. Some of his lords and many of his smallfolk held no love of him, believing him a kinslayer. Some said he had murdered his brother Tybolt as well.
Following the death of his niece Gerold succeeded her as Lord of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West. He quickly proved to be a shrewd and able lord. His rule was prosperous, and Gerold was able to greatly increase the wealth and power of House Lannister, as well as the trade at Lannisport. Gerold ruled the westerlands for thirty-one years, earning the sobriquet "Gerold the Golden".
In 230 AC, Gerold's wife Rohanne disappeared under mysterious circumstances, shortly after giving birth to Gerold's fourth son Jason. His eldest son Tywald died during the Storming of Starpike in 233 AC while squiring for Lord Robert Reyne in the Peake Uprising. King Maekar had died in the battle as well, after which Lord Brynden Rivers summoned a Great Council to settle the issue of royal succession. With his eloquence, and possibly his gold as well, Gerold aided in swaying the lords at the council into bestowing the Iron Throne to Prince Aegon Targaryen.
Gerold's son Tywald had been long betrothed to Lady Ellyn Reyne, the sister of Roger Reyne, the new Lord of Castamere. Following Tywald's death, Lady Ellyn persuaded Tywald's twin brother Tion to set aside his own betrothal and marry her instead. It has been said that Gerold opposed the match, but that in the end, due to his grief, age, and illness, he gave way when Tion revealed that Tywald's dying words pleaded his brother to "take care of Lady Ellyn."
Following the double wedding of his sons Tion and Tytos in 235 AC, Gerold retreated to his books and bedchamber. As the wife of the heir to Casterly Rock, Ellyn became Lady of Casterly Rock in all but name, and was quick to bring her brothers and kin to Casterly Rock. When Gerold's aged fool Lord Toad made a jape at Ellyn's expense, she had him whipped. Gerold was too ill to interfere. When the Fourth Blackfyre Rebellion broke out in 236 AC, Ser Tion perished in the Battle of Wendwater Bridge. Tion's death woke a new strength in Gerold, and he took a firm hold of the westerlands once more. He became intent on preparing his thirdborn son, Tytos, for his lordship.
In 239 AC, Ellyn was accused of attempting to bed Tytos, urging him to set aside his wife. Tytos soon told his own wife, Lady Jeyne Marbrand, who informed Gerold. Furious, Gerold married Ellyn off to Walderan Tarbeck, the Lord of Tarbeck Hall.
Lady Ellyn would give Lord Tarbeck two daughters and a son. She chose all their names carefully, according to Maester Beldon, who called them "daggers aimed at Lord Gerold's heart". Her first daughter was named Rohanne, after Lord Gerold's lost wife. Her second daughter was named Cyrelle, after the niece Gerold was rumored to have murdered. Her son was named Tion, after Gerold's son and Ellyn's late husband. In 242 AC, Tytos and Jeyne gave Gerold his first grandson, Tywin. Legend claims that when Lord Gerold ruffled the infant Tywin's golden hair, the child bit his finger.
In 244 AC, Gerold died of a bad bladder, unable to pass water. He was succeeded by his son Tytos.

THE LANNISTERS: ELLYN REYNE
Ellyn was described as a strong-willed, hot-tempered, and ambitious woman who dreamed of not only marrying into the wealthy House Lannister, but of also making herself the Lady of Casterly Rock.
Due to House Reyne's position and wealth, Lord Robert Reyne had little trouble arranging his daughter's betrothal to Ser Tywald Lannister, the heir of Gerold the Golden, Lord of Casterly Rock. However, Ellyn's betrothed and father were slain during the Peake Uprising in 233 AC. Ellyn seduced the new heir, Tion, even though Tion was betrothed to a daughter of Lord Rowan. Gerold, having witnessed how quickly Ellyn acted after the deaths of Robert and Tywald, opposed this match, but the ailing lord eventually let his son follow his heart.
Lady Ellyn married Tion Lannister in 235 AC. With Lord Gerold Lannister twice widowed and refusing to remarry, Ellyn became the Lady of Casterly Rock in all but name. As Gerold became less involved with ruling, Ellyn became a rival of Jeyne Marbrand, the wife of the thirdborn son of Gerold, Tytos Lannister. Ellyn hosted tourneys and balls, and her splendid court was filled with musicians, artists, and mummers. She also used her new position to empower House Reyne. Ellyn lavished her kin—including her brothers Roger and Reynard—with offices, honors and lands.
Tion perished fighting in the Fourth Blackfyre Rebellion, dying without issue. To prepare Tytos for rule, Gerold became involved in the affairs of the westerlands again and most of the Reynes departed for Castamere. Ellyn due to the Widow's Law remained at the Rock, but her influence declined in favor of Tytos's wife, Jeyne. According to Maester Beldon, Ellyn unsuccessfully attempted to bed Tytos.
Lord Gerold Lannister had Ellyn hastily wed to the widowed Walderan Tarbeck, the fifty-five-year-old Lord of Tarbeck Hall. Lord Toad, the fool at Casterly Rock, called the rivalry between Ellyn and Jeyne the War of the Wombs. According to a semi-canon source, With Walderan Ellyn had two daughters, Rohanne and Cyrelle, and a son, Tion.
Ellyn was present at the feast in the westerlands when the betrothal of Tytos's daughter, Genna Lannister, to Emmon Frey was announced. Ellyn laughed, probably because she did not find it a good match. Ellyn used House Lannister's wealth to rebuild Tarbeck Hall.
When Ser Tywin Lannister, the heir of Lord Tytos, demanded that debts owed to Casterly Rock be repaid, Walderan tried to intimidate Tytos but was subsequently imprisoned by Tywin. Ellyn took hostage two Lannisters of Lannisport, as well as Stafford Lannister, whose sister Joanna was betrothed to Tywin. Ellyn let Tytos know that she would kill the Lannisters if he harmed her husband Walderan. Although Tywin advised to send Lord Tarbeck back in three pieces, an exchange was arranged.
Ellyn was killed in 261 AC during the Reyne-Tarbeck rebellion. A boulder from a trebuchet collapsed the keep of Tarbeck Hall upon Ellyn and her son Tion. Tywin then had the castle put to the torch.
