Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.
Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.
Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.
Intangibility? Give the guy a break. I mean who calls themselves condiment king. Even he was stunned.
He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.
At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.
#danny phantom#dp x dc#dpxdc#im 100% here for danny using his powers for stupid shit and not the important battle stuff#this post wasn’t meant to be like this so I guess heres for you guys who read my stupid tags#I was gonna have the batfam adopt danny after a reveal and just not know all the crazy stuff he can do#they think they got him figured out then at the manner he does something like seep into the floor to get his forgotten school bag#or he turns invisible cause he got caught parnking and bruce is talking to him and steph but he just dips#no wait I can do better. he gets yelled at by bruce (aka new father figure) for eating a corn chip off the floor and just vanishes from…#… from getting surprised. meanwhile bruce is like!?!?!?!!?#just imagine them going crazy because they have no idea his powerset and they thought they did#his new siblings make a game of it#they get on missions and keep asking danny to do more and more impossible stuff just to see if he will reveal a new power#hey danny go scope out the area but make sure you arent seen ok#and hes like sure thing fam and goes invisible and intangible#doesn’t think to just take out the baddies and returns to them with a full floor plan and locatikn of all the baddies and drugs#like wtf#hey danny think you can do anything about that generator? and hes like sure thing fam and then freezes it#danny bro this guy is out of control! little help? and danny just walks up to the guy and overshadows him and handcuffs himself#brother daniel I dint think we can get in but theres a small hole here in the wall#would you be able to do anything about that? and instead of just walking thru the wall danny shifts his body and goes thru the hole#as if he had no bones and became liquid#the game gets intense and breaks bruce so he gives in first (yes he was playkng too) and just asks danny to show them his powers#he will say some shit like ‘ah hey chum think you can show us all your abilities? that was we can coordinate better in the field.’#dannys just like ‘yea daddio sure thing’ then proceeded to show off his entire move set minus wail until bruce showed him a chamber…#… that could ‘with stand’ his power (spoiler he destroyed that fucking toom lmao)#ok my spaghetti rings and meatballs have been done for a while and juliet is trying to eat them out the microwave so hopefully these tags#fed yall goobers#man I should have just made a second post lmao#stood in the kitchen too long typing and they got cold

i am steter trash so i wrote an au where stiles is a spark that lives in the forest because he killed his dad in an accident back when he was a kid and couldn't control his magic and his moms family was just made up of mages and he is the first one to actually be a born spark with loads of power so she raises him and teaches him everything she knows
and in this au sparks are being hunted and put down like animals so claudia builds a house in the forest with stiles where he can live and study magic on the land of their family and after she dies stiles moves there.
(and yes hes a lot older in this because it makes me antsy to write about eighteen year old stiles and adult peter. sorry. I'm a pussy okay.)
and stiles meets his gang! and scott is a dryad, lydia is a mermaid, jackson and danny are mermen (and jackson and danny are together by the way), i planned allison as a regular human that meets scott on a walk in the woods and falls in love with him later in the story because the hale fire storyline is still happening, and kira is an ancient kitsune who also lives in the forest and is good friends with stiles, and erica, boyd, isaac, liam, theo etc are not there yet but thats cause stiles is pretty alone.
he just minds his own business and takes care of the dryads and meets fairies (who live in the forest) and makes a deal with them that they'll stop screwing around with humans and stay in the forest and he'll protect them and take care of them because sparks are powerful and the fairies appreciate that instead of being afraid of him.
and stiles just does his thing for a couple of years until the fairies go a little bit too far and peter hale, who is stupidly a little too far in the forest on his patrol, gets caught in a storm they cause and gets lost in the woods, and he finds stiles' house and stiles takes him in and gives him dry clothes and then guards him back so peter won't get himself fairy'ed
and then a week passes and stiles is kind of anxious peters family will tell him to fuck off the woods (even though it's stiles' heritage to take care of the forest, the hales just live there) and then: the actual plot
a little apple dryad tells him scott found a dying fairy. this fairy apparently told scott in her dying breath something wolfish killed her, and stiles wrongly thinks peter and his family did that, and he goes to find scott to ask him about it, but scott is just gone. stiles can't find him and gets worried and checks his wards, and when he gets to the wards around the hale property, he meets laura. he asks her if she's seen scott, and she saw him going back into the forest, but stiles still can't find him.
laura leaves and stiles finds the ward to their territory broken, and it stinks like druid, so he figures it was this deaton guy because werewolves aren't sneaky like that.
stiles visits lydia (because he still can't find scott and lydia knows how to calm him down) and finds out jackson and danny saw a monster while making out under the surface of their lake and from then stiles knows that the hales have got nothing to do with this because what lydia describes Is Not a werewolf.
so he gets pissy, and then ultimately is enraged when he finds a dead stag this monster killed, and because he's pissy he visits the hales to tell talia he's rightfully going to kill their emissary for being a bitch and breaking his wards and letting some monster walk his territory.
and talia is all "what the fuck how do i not know you." and stiles is all internally "i see my darling peter kept his promises" and then he's internally like "wait fuck i'm not really in love with this guy am i" and then he's like "oh. OH."
and talia convinces him not to kill deaton because shes awesome and stiles grumpily agrees because... not agreeing would be a dick move and it would mean. War. Basically.
so the hales offer their help looking for scott and stiles finds this monster thing on his search and its a wendigo yay, and scott has been following this thing around for days now because he's a dumbass and wanted to help, and they bro out
and the hales and stiles kill this thing, which means magic action. and stiles is awesome. and everyone knows that now.
what follows is just steter get-to-know-eachother and the hale pack are the biggest wingmen (wingpeople) ever and there's fluff and magic and a lot of flowers because stiles is a person that can't for the life of him say the words "i love you" and gets incredibly anxious when people say "i love you" so he mostly displays his feelings for peter in hanakotoba, the traditional japanese flower language that kira taught him, and peter eventually catches onto that and they get together in a load of angst and fluff and they have sex. because of course they have loads of sex. bold of you to think peter can keep his hands off stiles for longer than a day and likewise.
and there is like a load of stiles/hale pack friendship dynamics because i love them all and then suddenly yeehaw. hale fire.
So paige has already happened in this timeline before stiles and peter met, and derek still meets kate and she does her scum thing and uses him. a bunch of hunters show up to the hale house, shoot them with wolfsbane bullets and gather them so they can burn together.
stiles wakes up in a rush because something bad is happening to his wolves but then his eyes fall closed again and he can't get out of bed for a solid time because someone freaking poisoned him and he's fevering and weak and everything is dizzy, but he forces himself up because something. bad. is happening. to his. wolves. he stumbles into his kitchen and almost dies right there and then, because the poison is wolfsbane and he feels like he got tons of it shoved down his throat by the person that poisoned him. his life starts flashing in front of his eyes and he fights back at it and vomits the wolfsbane out, believes it out of his system and when it's gone, he's just left raging.
because i hate kate, stiles loses control when he meets her at the hale house and kills her. he gets the pack and gets them out of the house, breaks the mountain ash circle and they leave. the hales can't go back to their house because the place is swarming with hunters
and peter and stiles figure out it was deaton who told kate everything she needed to know to set this trap and the mountain ash circle also stinks like druid, so deaton gets revealed as being the bad guy all along. stiles figures that he also poisoned him so he wouldnt interrupt, and that deaton wanted thalias alpha spark. the wendigo was a test and deaton put it there on purpose to see how strong stiles was and if he would care about the hales, because deaton knew stiles would feel the hunters killing them and ever since peter and stiles got together the druid knew he would have to murder him too to get the hales dead.
and stiles is just half feral in his wrath and the aftermath of the wolfsbane poisoning, and derek is sobbing and muttering about this being all his fault, and peter has two bullets stuck in his knees and has to be held up by his niece and his brother-in-law, and every one of them is shot and hurt and crying and talia does her best to comfort derek while shaking as well
and stiles just closes his eyes. takes a deep breath. and takes care of his family-in-law, because fuck if he isnt gonna marry peter after this. he takes them in, gives them clean and comfortable clothes, patches them up, lets them shower, yeets his living room so they have space for a big puppy pile, gives them food and water to drink and then draws a ward around his house that is strong enough deaton won't be able to find them unless he sells his soul to the king of hell.
when he's done with that, he locks the hales in and asks kira to take care of them and make sure they're okay while he's gone. she agrees and stiles goes and because he's angry and kind of more dark than i let slip until now so he just. slaughters the hunters that are left. and he enjoys it.
then he shows up to chris argents house, shocks the living hell out of allison because he's still covered in blood and ash, and goes talk to gerard, who is there for alibi purposes. he just flatly tells the truth and asks gerard how many times they've done this now. and the second the old man lets slip the hales weren't the first, stiles goes full Older Derek Hale Mode and slams him against a wall to threaten the living shit out of the man.
by threaten i mean he says that he'll kill him and there's nothing the guy can do about it, cause stiles will find him, no matter how far he runs. yknow bamf dark stiles shit. i am living for writing this scene right now bye
and then he looks at chris and allison. allison looks scared out of her mind and then she asks if thats true. if her family really did something like that. and chris has to look her square in the eye and tell her through gritted teeth that, altough he didnt know about this, yes, they did that to innocent people.
and stiles looks at chris and gives him a nod, because he knows the guy can get this right, he knows allison is strong and fierce and will be fine no matter what. he looks at gerard and sneers at him in disgust. then he leaves like the dramatic bitch he is, but not without ensuring chris will clean this mess up and make an alliance with talia.
he goes back to the house and the only one still awake is peter, and stiles breaks down completely, covered in blood from head to toe and scared out of his mind too. peter holds him, gently leads him into the shower, and helps him get cleaned up, washes his hair, picks out clothes for him, and they go to sleep together.
then, recovery. stiles organizes therapy for derek because lord knows the boy needs it, he nurses the hales healthy, shows them around in the house, they meet his friends, cora and lydia take a particularly special interest in each other, scott is sad because allison broke up with him but stiles visits the argents and talks to her a lot and they become friends too, and he knows scott will get over her eventually, just as she's getting over him.
and stiles shows the hales his life for a while until everyone is recovered, and then they go back to the hale house that he cleaned up already (because, uh, corpses had to be buried, floors had to be cleaned from blood and the smell of magic and mountain ash had to be erased)
and then peter proposes to stiles and they have a beautiful wedding by the lake where cora can talk to lydia, and derek ends up talking to scott quite a lot because scott is nervous and sweet and falls head over heels for the quiet werewolf, and guess who allison ends up with? nobody. because allison is fucking awesome and in the hunter business and she takes it upon her to start cleaning up the community and goes against hunters that are like her aunt just killing innocent people and a relationship with anybody would just be annoying. maybe she realizes she isnt even into relationships, i don't know that yet. aro ally would be interesting, dude.
And then in the end stiles goes to live with the hales and they mend their territory together so he can still visit his friends and he leaves the house to cora who eventually moves there as an adult so she can live with lydia. he and peter move out as well and they go back to town when stiles is ready, because he's lived so freaking long in the fear someone will hunt him down and kill him for his power, and now everything is peaceful. so he puts down his weapons, stops fighting, and lives happily ever after.
and has loads of sex with peter. just because.

Ghostly Mysteries- Chapter 2
For the most part, Danny knows when someone is suspicious of him.
It comes with the job, sure, but sometimes he can understand what other people in the room are feeling. He confided this to his friends once, and they believed it was a new power. They dubbed it “Empathy” and tested it out on a few hormonal teens. Together, they discovered that Danny has the ability to feel others emotions.
Its partially disturbing, because sometimes it takes a moment for him to realize that the emotions he is feeling are someone else’s, not his own.
But, like most of his other powers, his friends had been right at his side, helping him to learn how to control and make the most of his new ability. Now, he can single out a specific persons emotions and know—for the most part— that they’re not his.
But, suspicion had been an emotion that he’s taught himself to look out for. He felt it occasionally during high school drama, during couples he’s walked past on the street, hell-even when one of his parents machines goes off on him does he feel a flicker of suspicion from them.
Needless to say, he knows suspicion when he feels it, and this Dipper kid is no exception.
But right now, he had more things he needed to worry about. Like how to get home, if his friends are okay, if Wulf was okay, if this was even his own dimension!
‘Deep breath, Fenton’, Danny thought to himself, ‘Focus on one thing at a time. I need to find Wulf, if he’s not being hunted by Walker as we speak...’
With a movement no one really expected, Danny sat up.
Danny regretted sitting up.
His wound roared in agony and he let out a pained gasp, but he fought on. It would be healed is maybe a few hours anyway, so it’s probably fine, right?
That is, until he felt multiple pairs of arms try to stop him from walking.
“I need to go,” Danny managed to grunt out through the pain, “I have to...”
“Okay, dude, chill,” The redhead-Wendy- spoke up, “You need rest with a cut that nasty, especially with how deep it is. You can stay here til’ you’re better.”
Danny sighed, knowing there was nothing to be done until everyone was out of the room.
“Hey, you two,” She turned on the twins, “did you call an ambulance at all?”
There was a moment of silence before Mabel face-palmed. “This is it, bro-bro,” she cried dramatically, “We’re devolving.”
“Mabel, we’re not devolving.” Her brother only partly comforted his twin, “I had thought of it before deciding against it.”
“Oh! Can I ask why..?” Wendy gave Danny a few more pillows for him to be comfortable. With them, he was able to sit up against a cabinet to observe the conversation through slightly hazy eyes.
“I thought it was like...” Dipper’s eyes flashed over to Danny, hitting him with another wave of suspicion, “...a thing.”
“A thing?” Mabel asked.”
“A thing.”
“A thing...” the twin raked her brain, “OH-a thing!” She smiled, winked, and did finger guns at Dipper
Dipper smiled at her understanding, “Exactly. Thank you Mabel.”
Danny squinted at the odd interaction.
“Okayy,” Wendy shrugged and decided to move on, “hey, do you have anyone we can contact to let them know you’re alright?”
Danny hesitated, “Um...yes...? Would it be alright if I tried to call them myself?”
Wendy smiled and nodded, “Of course! Do you want us to stay in the room or-?”
“I would like to be alone, please.” His response was immediate.
“Alright, you heard ‘em kids. Everyone out. You too, Soos. Don’t think I forgot about you-you may be quiet but you’re not invisible.”
After four people had cleared out, Danny was alone in the room.
Digging around in his pocket, he pulled out an old, cracked iPhone. He frowned at the multiple missed calls and texts from his parents, his sister, his friends, even Vlad had sent a few.
He decided to try Jazz first. If theres no signal, he can always try his Fenton Phone.
He really wasn’t expecting it to work. He really wasn’t, so imagine his surprise when on the first ring, Jazz picked up.
“Danny-?!”
“Hey Jazz...”
“Oh my god, Danny! Where are you! We’ve been searching everywhere! God-I’ve been so worried! Are you alright? What happened? Why-“
“Jazz-I’m okay. I’m fine. Well, for the most part. Things got a bit sticky with Wulf and Walker and I’m in Oregon right now. I’m coming home as soon as I get the chance, believe me.”
“God, I just- You’ve been gone for *two days*, Danny. Not a word, not a call, not a note, you just vanished! Sam and Tucker had no idea what happened, we spent *hours* looking in the Ghost Zone for you...”
“I..” Danny bit his lip. He couldn’t keep doing this to his friends and family, it wasn’t fair to them, “I’m sorry, Jazz. I’m so sorry... When I get back I promise I’ll do anything to make it up to you guys, you don’t deserve this.”
“Danny it’s just..” he could imagine her running a hand through her hair, and he could *feel* her stress through the phone, “..a lot. Where are you in Oregon? I’m coming to get you.”
“No! No, I can’t leave yet. I need to find Wulf and make sure he’s safe from Walker. I promise, I’ll come back as soon as I’m done. Don’t worry about me, alright? I’m fine. I’ll be back soon, please tell everyone not to worry. I’m so sorry, Jazz.”
“Danny, you can’t just call and expect us not to come get you! You’ve been gone for two days Danny-“
“I know- and I swear I’ll come right back when I’m done, but Wulf *needs* me right now, Jazz. He’s in trouble, and who am I if I can’t help someone from a couple of ghosts?”
A moment a silence passed between the siblings before Jazz sighed, “...alright. I don’t like it, I doubt Sam and Tucker will either, but I’ll try my best to cover for you until you get home.”
Danny let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding, “Jazz, you have no idea how much that means to me. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, little bro. Please-stay safe. I love you.”
“Ew Jazz! Gross!”
But even through that response, she knew he loved her too.
A few words later, they both hung up.
Danny sighed, holding his head in his hand and debating if he wanted to call Sam and Tucker, when the door opened again. Wendy, Dipper, and Mabel walk through.
“Hey! So? How’d it go?” Wendy asked, sitting down by the register and putting her feet up.
Danny shook his head, “I’m.. gonna have to stay in Gravity Falls for a while.” He didn’t go on to explain why that was so, but Mabel didn’t miss a beat.
“You can stay here!” The twin cut in, flashing her braces, “Theres a couch in the other room you can use! Plus, I’m pretty sure Grunkle Stan wouldn’t mind!”
Danny frowned, “Are you sure? I don’t wanna intrude...”
Before Danny could say anymore, Mabel opened her (apparently very large) mouth and yelled, “GRUNKLE STAN!! A CUTE BOY IS STAYIN’ OVER FOR A FEW NIGHTS IS THAT ALRIGHT WITH YOU?”
A distant voice responded through the walls, “He got any money?”
Mabel pursed her lips, eyed Danny, then (without asking if he had any money), yelled back just as loud, “uhh...YEAH DUH?”
“Alright!” the voice responded, “He can stay!”
“Okay, you can stay, Danny!” Mabel grinned at him, unaware of his ringing ears. Silently, he cursed his advanced senses.
“Thank you.”

My Favorite Asshole Pt.2
Tumblr media
This is a Jake Kiszka x reader story but will involve the others.
This will be a multiple part story and pretty lengthy, I also may be slow to upload because my work schedule is pretty crazy. with that being said here we go!!! (p.s sorry about any errors I will proof-read but may miss something)
Word Count: +1,600
Part One
As the 8th-period bell rang you and Ronnie walked towards the parking lot to meet her brothers and Danny at Josh’s van. You saw a very run down Volkswagon van come into view and a curly-headed Josh laughing and making jokes with a group of teens. You then felt a presence next to you when you looked up you came face to face with Sam, he had the brightest smile on his face.
“How was your first day, songbird?”
“Songbird, I don’t know about that; but today has been better then I imagined” you said with a slight laugh
“Oh you don’t like it, gives me even more reason to call you it, and of course today was better then you expected, you got to meet a really tall, very sexy, long-haired man”
you just rolled your eyes “yeah in your dreams Sammy, you’re not my type and you aren’t a man you’re a boy.”
“Oooo feisty, I like it. If I’m not your type then what is, because I’m everyone's type”
“That’s none of your business, but I can assure you, your not it”
“Wow, that hurt” Sam said with a slight laugh you just rolled your eyes and let out a small laugh when you got to the van you looked around and saw that everyone was there but Jake. You guys joked around for a bit and you looked in the distance and saw Jake walking towards you all holding hand with some girl. For some reason, this bothered you because while Sam wasn’t your type, Jake sure was. You just turned your head as they were a few feet away and started to talk to Ronnie. You heard Josh's voice break through all conversation
“Well if it isn’t the two love birds, Who take there time? We are all waiting on you Jake” Josh said with an annoyed tone to his voice.
“Whoa man, Take a chill pill. I was just walking Sarah to her car. Give me two seconds” you looked back at Ronnie with wide eyes she whispers in your ear
“Josh can’t stand Jake’s girlfriend, well we all can’t stand her.” you just silently shake your head you guys pile into the van and wait for Jake to get back to the Van. When he got in he immediately started in with Josh.
“What the hell man, why do you have to be such an ass?”
“Me you're the one that took your sweet ass time getting to the van”
“Whatever man just lay-off next time, She doesn’t deserve to be shit on by you all the time”
“Bro, she legit has cheated on you twice and is a total bitch” you were taken aback by this, this is when Sam butts in
“While I agree with Josh, we should drop it. Let Jake get his heart broken again.”
“Fuck off Sam nobody asked you” this was getting extremely heated just as Sam was going to speak Ronnie cuts him off
“Hey all, this isn’t the time or place. You all need to calm down, Jake try to be on time, Josh bit your tongue next time, and Sam don’t go so far next time.”
“Whatever” Jake said with a huff. The drive to their place was pretty quiet Josh had to turn on some music. As Josh turns left on a country road Van Morrison- Into The Mystic starts to play.
“Hey Josh, can you turn this up, it’s one of my favorites”
“Sure thing” as the song grew louder you started to softly sing you heard Josh and Sam join in and Ronnie just sway to the music; as the song fades Danny spoke
“Holy shit y/n, you’ve got pipes, Sam was right”
“Told you Danny songbird could replace Josh if he ever gets too annoying” Sam said with a laugh
“Thanks, Danny I dabble, and Sam if you call me songbird one more time I’ll kill you, also what am I replacing Josh in?”
“Our band, and I’m not scared of you one-bit songbird” Sam said in a sing-songy voice
“Hey, hey, hey nobody is replacing me in anything, but I dig the nickname. Your officially songbird”
“No, I am not” you say with a slight laugh
“I kinda like it too” Danny Said
“I won’t call you that if you don’t want to be called that. But I can’t control these fools” Ronnie said with a giggle the van finally came to a stop. Jake was the first one out of the van and in the house, he slammed both doors in the process.
“He has such an attitude problem sometimes, sorry if it makes you feel awkward you’ll get used to it tho” Sam said reassuringly
“Yeah it’s super bad when Sarah is in the picture” Josh said quietly
“You should watch us practice later, we love getting new fans” Sam said with a laugh
“Oh totally, I have some homework and lines to practice, but I down.”
We walked in and Ronnie gave me a small tour of the house and we went and sat our stuff at the kitchen table to do our homework. About 2 hours had past and you guys just finished last of your homework Ronnie spoke up
“I’m gonna jump in the shower real quick before I start cooking dinner, do you want to see if Josh or Jake wants to run lines with you?”
“Sure” you guys got up and walked up the stairs towards Josh room you knocked but there was no answer
“Maybe he went out, let's go see if Jakes in his room” you reached the last door at the end of the hall and Ronnie knocked softly you hear some light music playing in the background and footsteps coming to the door. As Jake opens the door he starts to speak
“Josh, I told you to leave me be until after dinner...” as the door opens all the way your face to face with very annoyed jake, his face soon relaxes when he realizes it’s you and Ronnie
“Hey dork, Do you know where Josh is we can’t find him?”
“Nah, he was annoying me about an hour ago but I flipped out on him, he may have gone to the store”
“Oh okay, I’m gonna jump in the shower do you want to help run lines with y/n until I’m out?” Jake seemed to be taking back a little bit
“Sure, She probably needs all the help she can get.” he quickly recovered from his initial reaction.
“Cool, just don’t be a dick”
“Okay Ronnie” He said with an eye roll he then looked at you and opened his door wider letting you in you took a seat on the little couch he had by his window he closed the door and walked towards the record player
“What do you want to listen to?”
“I’m down for anything” your eye wandered down the back of him he was wearing grey joggers that fit him perfectly and a t-shirt that was a little cropped when he bent down to grab a new record his shirt lifted a little revealing his back you zoned a little and as he turned around you were still looking at him.
“Hey y/l/n my eyes are up here” he said with a smirk on his face
“Don’t flatter yourself Jake, I just zoned out” you could feel the heat rise to your cheeks but you quickly got in your bag and pulled out the script
“Don’t worry about it, I zone out all the time staring at people asses” he said with a laugh
“Whatever, do you want to get started”
“Sure” He sat down at the chair at his desk and you guys read your lines, sharing laughs when you messed up, and also getting to know each other a little bit. Time flew by next thing you know Ronnie was knocking at the door interrupting you and jake from your concentration.
“Foods done, Get your asses down here. Mom and dad aren’t joining us I guess they are on a business trip. for the rest of the week.”
“What trip, they didn’t even tell us about it”
“Don’t ask me, maybe they just wanted to get away for the madness that is this house, How’s it going you guys feel confident in the parts?”
“We’re pretty much guaranteed the parts, Mrs.Jones always gives it to the soloist shes already picked in choir” Jake spoke you met the rest of the crew downstairs and start to eat, small talk broke out and Josh planned a little party for Saturday, You all spoke and joked around Jake even joined in which took you by surprise because he had been so quite previously. As you all finished the boys dragged you and Ronnie out to the garage so they could practice and play for you. As they started to play your eyes were immediately on Jake they way he played the guitar was unlike anything you have ever seen, you soon were broken out of your trance by the sound of Josh’s vocals your eyes start to drift around to each of the boys they all looked like they were having so much fun, you always found your way back to Jake, he caught you staring once and just smiled at you, you shook your head and looked a Sam he was on the keys having the absolute time of his life. You turned to Ronnie,
“They are really good like I’m shocked”
“Extremely good, they make me so proud”
“Nobody plays music like this anymore, What’s their band name?”
“Greta Van Fleet”
“I defiantly am not replacing Josh” you both laughed and went back to jamming out as the boy's practice came to an end Josh asked you what you thought.
“That was fucking incredible, like amazing your voice, Sam on bass and Keys, Danny’s drumming, and Jake on guitar, I mean come on, it amazing you guys are amazing”
“Thank’s songbird” Sam spoke
“Did you zone out at all y/l/n” Jake said with a cocky smirk on his face
“At times yes only during the guitar solos, they were kinda boring” you said with a laugh everyone joined in and jake just shook his head with a smile.
“Hey all as fun as this has been it’s getting kinda late, I think I should be heading home” you spoke “Me too” said Danny
“Yeah okay, I can take you guys” Josh spoke
“I’ll tag along” Ronnie said
As you climbed in the van your mind drifted to Jake. How could he have a girlfriend, this is just your luck. It’s probably for the best because you really like these guys no need to ruin that by falling for Jake. You guys drove in the night listening to music and talking. You couldn't wait to spend more time with the five of them.

Is Everything Okay? Ch. 16
"What the hell are you doing here!"
"Guys?" Danny jumped from his seat at the sight of three teen boys pushing there way into the room. Instantly Tucker had wrapped Danny up in a hug. "How did you Didn't we just tell you guys a like two hours ago?"
"Might have taken something from Fenton Works..." Tucker trailed, waving a set of keys in front of Danny. The keys were attached a key charm, which was a green and black FSS. Danny instantly knew what it was.
"Dude, how'd you guys get it past the agents that had been swarming there?" Danny gaze across to Dash and Chris who just shrugged.
"Foley did it all on his own. Nerd thought he could get it." Dash motioned towards Tucker. "Got it all on his own"
"Hey, he didn't do that great." Chris piped in as Jess ushered everyone to the couch. Chris gave Tucker a playful shove. "The geek cheated! He used the shrinking thing? I don't even know." Tucker laughed and shook his head. Stealing the drink that Danny had.
"I used the shrinking mechanism your parents had worked on." Tucker took a drink and immediately spit it back into the mug. His face contorted in a grimace, his nose crinkled in disgust. "Ew dude, Dr. Pepper?"
"Oh hush." Jess jumped in, taking the mug from the techno geek. "Dr. Pepper is the best drink that was ever made. Luckily for you I've got some root beer." Jess chuckled at the grin that spread on Tucker's face and left to get him a new drink.
"Why did you guys-"
"Come on fentard." Dash cut in and shook his head, Chris copying his movements. "We weren't about to let you do this all on your own. Especial after finding out you've helped us."
"Dude it's me, I can't stay out of trouble." Chris smirked, keeping his perch against the coffee table. Danny furrowed his eyebrows looking at them all.
"You're willing to be come fugitives for me?" He asked, confusion and disbelief clear in his voice. Jess had sauntered back in and handed the new trio a mug each.
"Of course we are!" Tucker shoved his friend. "You're our friend! It doesn't even matter that you protected Amity-"
"Matters to me." Jess chimed in, sipping from her mug. The looks three out of four of the teens gave her caused her to shrug. "I mean I don't know him. Just that he kept my baby bro safe as Phantom, that makes him okay in my books."
"How's everyone?" Danny asked, biting the inside of his cheek. Anxiety filled him with worry of what could really happen back home, back in Amity Park.
"Your sister and mum are alright..." Tucker started taking a glance between the other two. Danny bit back a sigh at the exchange, a spike of annoyance hit him realizing his friends were acting like they were walking on egg shells.
"Guys, just tell me everything." Danny cut in, shaking his head. In that moment Danny realized something. Since he met Jess, since he show'd up the little diner, he had not been overwhelmed by emotions.
"Okay, Imma be blunt. Cause unlike Tuck over there, I know you need to know the truth." Chris perked up from his perch, ignoring the looks he got. "Your dad's funeral is tomorrow afternoon, your mum is an absolute wreck, your sister is playing damage control, Sam wanted to come but her parents are keeping her hostage in her room, and Lancer tried to get us to tell him where you are. Amity is also surrounded in people in white and they are thinking about expanding to neighboring states, including this one. If you have a plan now if the time."
"I need to go to his funeral." Danny spoke, his voice only holding the tiniest bit of sadness in it.
"There's always Clockwork." Tucker spoke, turning his gaze to Danny choosing to ignore the words his friend spoke. His eyes searching Danny for any form of emotions. His worry grew when all he saw was emptiness.
"Whose Clockwork?"Dash and Jess asked the same time, the two shared a smile between them. Tucker and Danny shared a look, the emptiness in Danny's eyes suddenly disappearing as if it weren't ever there. Tucker bit his tongue, knowing it would be a bad time to start asking Danny , sometimes he could be an airhead and say the wrong things at the worst times possible, he still has some brains to know Danny is going through too much hell to have his only support to start questioning.
"Well..." Danny spoke before Tucker could. Turning to the three confused people in the room. He launched into the story about how he had met Clockwork, and how the elder ghost now kept his eye on the teen and help occasionally, then told them all about the offer the ghost gave him.
"Do you have any idea when Clockwork is gonna pop by?" Chris asked, walking into the room and taking a seat next to Danny. It's been a few hours since the five of them had a conversation, and everyone litered out around the house. Tucker was spending time trying to find the location of the GIW without alerting anyone where they were. Dash was somewhere else in the house, or maybe he left. Jess was out buy groceries, she had complained about now having to stock the house up for four teenage boys now.
"No clue." Danny sighed and shook his head, keeping his chin rested on his knees. "I just hope he does soon... I need to go to my dad's funeral though. I just... I can't miss it-"
"I get it." Chris cut in before Danny could continue, not wanting to force the boy to have to explain himself. Chris turned, keeping his eyes on the teen before him, his eyes only meeting the side of his face but the purple haired teen could see the tears in the sad cobalt eyes. "I do. Maybe you could. I honestly don't know much about the GIW, and if they can't track you then maybe if we get a disguise you can keep to the edge of the funeral? Keep away from people?"
"They can track my ecto-signature. I can only hide it for so long." Danny responded. "I don't think I could face my mum though. She hates me."
"I wish I could say she didn't. " Chris ran a hand through his hair, hating seeing his friend so distraught. "But she is your mum. She could just have said those things in the heat of the moment..."
"I don't know." Danny shook his head, try to rid the heavy hands that wrapped tightly around his throat. Everything was a dire situation, he couldn't have a breakdown. He took and deep breath before turning to his friend. "We need to talk to the others and see if we can come up with a plan to get me to Amity tomorrow, at what time did you say?"
"Two"
Danny could help the feeling in him that night while he laid in bed. He couldn't believe how easy it was to get Dash, and Tucker, heck even Jess to agree to him going. He felt bad, but he was happy Sam wasn't there. As much as he liked having he around and he missed her, he knew she would have told him not to do this. That it was stupid and he should stay in hiding until the Stopwatch popped his back into his life.
But Danny couldn't. He had to see this. He didn't know why, or if it would help any, but he had to see this. He had to go and see his mum and sister, his dad in the casket. He had to see everything. Even if the thought of the funeral, or returning to Amity, gave the hand that help tightly at his throat more force to grip tighter. He needed this.
Something was drawing him to the funeral. The feeling reminded him a lot like the thing that kept waking him up around the time his dad had... Besides the connection, there was something else. Danny couldn't quite put his finger on, but he knew damn well that if he didn't go he was going to miss something. Something big. Something he didn't want to miss.
And he wasn't going to.
With the thought of going to that funeral, and seeing his family, the emotional teen drifted off to sleep. Not bothering to stay up longer, or keep an eye out for anything. Even though he knew he was being hunted down by people who wanted nothing more than to cut him open and do 'really painful experiments', Danny had the strangest feeling that tonight was going to be just fine.
The growing dread that built as time ticked by was the only indecation that tomorrow was when things were going to go down. That things weren't going to be as easy as running into Jess, or having his friends by his side. No, things weren't going to be easy. But the raven haired teen knew one thing.
His friends would have his back no matter what. They will be there to catch him, if or when he fell.

The Summer of Del'goxoth part 12
It has been two weeks since Danny came to Gravity falls under witness protection from the FBI and Danny has been enjoying the most out of his summer. As he and Wendy have been hanging out with each other for almost every day of the week, the two get into their own adventures. Like Danny posses Pizza guy to show Wendy his other powers that have not been seen on TV or on the Internet. Then Wendy took Danny a walk in the forest to find Gnomes and Manotaurs playing Texas Hold 'em for the pize to be a couple of crystals.
Now in the afternoon of Monday, Danny and Wendy were hanging out at Danny house playing Super Smash Bros on Danny Switch in the dining room where Wendy was Three and o against Danny in the game.
"How are so good at this game?" said Danny
"Practices and years of picking Samus for Smash Bros," said Wendy then beat Danny again and then winning again.
"that's it I'm taking a break," Danny putting the controller next to him.
"So Danny, you do know what this week is?"
Danny thinks then answers pop in his head "Summmerween,"
"Yep, are you excited?"
"You bet I cannot wait for Halloween in the summer,"
"So what is your costume going to be Danny?"
"I have not decided, yet I'm stuck on two costumes I wanted to get, but what about you, Wendy what are you going as?"
"Well, I'm going to be a werewolf just like in Teen Wolf,"
"Which Teen Wolf? The movie or the TV show?"
"The Teen Wolf the movie with Micheal J Fox,"
"So how's your costume going to look like?"
"It is I'm going to wear wolves ears; Then I'll get orange fur from a source of mine, then I'm going to use my old clothes to ripped and tear like I was transforming into a werewolf I have the whole design on my phone let me get out,"
Wendy searches for her pockets for her cellphone, but it was not in any of her pockets she checks Danny couch to see if her phone falls between the cushion she looked to see it wasn't.
"Crap,"
"Lost your phone, Wendy,"
"Yeah, I thought I had it with me in my pocket,"
"Where and when you last remember took your phone out Wendy,"
"Let see," Wendy thinks for a second then snap her fingers "I remember I was texting my dad at the Mystery Shack then I help out Soos with fixing a broken window, and I put my phone the crasher counter,"
"So think your phone still there?"
"Probably,"
"So then let's go it then,"
"I don't know Danny it's going to a while to get to the mystery shack since I didn't come here with the Mystery Kart,"
"Oh, then how about I take you?"
"You mean you're going to drive Washington car I don't think he going let you do that Danny,"
"No, I mean I'll just fly you there," Danny grabbed his blonde wig and turned into his ghost form.
"Danny, is it a little risky to flying across town in your alter ego?"
"Not if we are up in the air high enough that no one could see us,"
"I see,"
"So are you ready Wendy,"
"Danny you do not have to do this you know,"
"Wendy you are my friend I want to help you then,"
"If that then" Wendy jumps into Danny's arms and he blushes a bit "then let's go, Ghost boy,"
Danny turn him and Wendy invisible he flies out of the house before yelling at Washington "I'm going out for a minute,"
"You better not get yourself in trouble Danny!" shouted Washington
Danny flies up in the air while carrying Wendy in his arm; he flies so high up that they are above Gravity falls and out of everyone sight from the town he and Wendy switch off being invisible.
"Woah! We are so high up in the air Danny," said Wendy smile and looking down
"I'm guessing you're enjoying the flight so far?" Said Danny smiling as well
"You bet Danny, do you fly this high often?"
"Yeah, back when I kept my powers a secret, but I was like flying this high,"
"Why is that?"
"It just helps me relax if I got stress and felt like I was on a spaceship,"
"I could see why I would love to have the ability to fly get away from some problems and take a break from it,"
"Well you better hold on tight Wendy it might go a little fast getting to the Mystery Shack,"
"No problem Danny,"
Danny flew to the mystery Schack he looked at Wendy to see she was having fun and it reminded him the same expression Sam made when he and Sam did this type of stuff at their height of their relationship. Danny suddenly gets flashes of Sam and him breaking up that made Danny depress for a moment, and Wendy notices.
"Danny, what wrong you looked sad?"
"Oh, Wendy it's nothing remember,"
"What is it Danny cmon you can tell me what's bothering you,"
"See Wendy I used to do this with my EX,"
"You mean Sam Maddison,"
"How did you know?"
"The news and a bunch of Instagram post,"
"Of course,"
"So why did you two break up,"
"Half of it because of my rise of fame and missing important dates that led to our breakup,"
"Oh,"
"I'm Sorry Wendy you probably did not want to hear about me talking about my ex,"
"Its fine dude I have been through my share of a breakup,"
"Really! I would not imagine anyone breaking up with you,"
"Well, my ex try to use some mind tricking song to make me stay as his girlfriend,"
"Your Ex sounds like a dick,"
"He was I was mad at him for a couple of weeks until I forgive me For it. how about you and Sam Danny how is it between the two of you?"
"We're still trying to make being friends again without being awkward and all,"
"For the short time knowing you Danny I think you could do it,"
"Thanks, Wendy, it's mean a lot," Danny smile again.
"No Problem Danny,"
Danny and Wendy arrive at the Mystery Shack Danny were about to change back to his human form until his ghost sense comes out.
"Wendy there is a ghost near us,"
"Really, Danny, there is a ghost near us?" Wendy looked around
"Yeah stay close to me,"
"I got a better Idea then that Danny," Wendy grabs an Ax from a tree stump.
"Wendy I don't think an ax would work against a ghost,"
"Trust me, Danny, it can differently hurt a ghost," Wendy with a determined smile.
"I can't make you change your mind can I Wendy,"
"Nope,"
"Then let's go in the Mystery Shack and get your phone before anything bad can happen,"
Wendy and Danny go to the front door of the Mystery Shack they try to open it, but it was locked Danny phase through the door and opens it from the inside the Mystery Shack was quite dark once Wendy and Danny go further in.
"I'll find the light switch, Danny,"
Danny looks around to see if the place was clear of any ghost and especially if the ghost is Logan Hall trying to get back at Danny. Then Danny gets knockdown when something jumps on the chest he falls to the floor Danny screams. Wendy quickly finds the light switch she turns around once the lights were on to see a small dog, with green fur and wearing a black collar licking Danny face.
"Danny, are you okay! is that dog hurting you?" said Wendy runs over to Danny with Ax in her hands
"I'm all right, Wendy, I actually know this dog," said Danny getting up from the floor holding the dog in his arms.
"You do?"
"Uh huh, Wendy, I introduce you to meet Cujo," Danny hold up the dog Cujo barked happily at Danny tries to lick his face again.
"So is he your dog Danny?"
"Kinda every time he gets out of the ghost world he always comes to me,"
"I guess he misses you back at your home and he came all the way here in Gravity falls to be with you, Danny,"
"It would seem like it, Wendy,"
"if so then Danny can I pet your dog,"
"Sure Wendy maybe he'll like you as well,"
Wendy put the Ax down she pets Cujo who at first was a worry then happy again as he like Wendy petting him and licks her hands.
"It seems he likes me," Wendy kept petting.
"That good I hate to see him turn angry that would be trouble,"
"Why would he get angry turn trouble,"
"He turns into a six-foot angry dog if something pissing him off,"
"Oh.." Wendy stops petting Cujo "it sounds kinda cool though,"
Wendy grabs her phone from the cashier counter she, Danny and Cujo leaves the mystery shack and go back to Danny house unaware that Logan Hall was watching them from afar with an evil grin.

There’s nothing more amazing than having possessed a body. Being dead gets kinda fuckin’ awful, bruh. You’re floating around, looking at others live their lives, knowing you’d live it better... I mean, that’s Emilio! Look at him. He’s got so much potential, and he’d rather be taking fuckin’ filter selfies on Instagram for his 300 followers. If only he’d have hit the gym for a few years, joined the football team... Woulda been a whole different story. He wouldn’t have needed my help. But, I mean, I can’t complain. Profits flow upward, bruh. I’m in charge now, so I get the gold.
So first of all, that tackle was bullshit. We were winning, some fucker had to come knock the life outta me and shut down our sports program. I watched the school get less and less swole, less fit, and it killed me. I needed to do something. That’s where little Emilio came into play.
He was a little prep. You know, that little shit who would walk around and talk shit about people he doesn’t even know. He walked around in his $250 pussy shoes, thinkin’ he was hot shit. This little fuck ruled the school now? Fuck no. I knew then and there, it was time for me to step in.
I hadn’t tried taking over anyone before. I mean, I watched Danny Phantom as a kid, so I knew ghosts could do shit like that, but I didn’t know how. I had to make a plan, so for a week or so I followed him around the school. Got to know his schedule. His stupid fuckin’ AP classes he jacked around in, bossing around the speech and debate nerds like he was a fuckin’ king. He took everything for granted. Eventually I found out when he was alone. Third period, second floor bathroom. He would jack off about twice a week. I guess even fucktards need a lil release. So, now it was just a matter of slippin’ in.
So it was that Friday, and he snuck into the second floor bathroom, locking the door like always. I knew that Mr. Puckey always destroyed that specific toilet in between third and fourth period, so I had to be quick. Emilio sat down on the toilet seat and unzipped his prissy, red skinny jeans. I was just chillin in the corner, waiting to make my move. He whipped out his lil’ cock and started browsing Pinterest for hot guys. Fuckin’ idiot: Tumblr is for porn, not Pinterest.
I floated over and looked, he was lookin’ up jock bros! That’s who he jacked off to? The deal was sealed, he was gonna get his comeuppance in his own fantasy. He started to stroke, having locked on to some typical white boy abs. The first thing I did was let out a bit of jockscent. You know, that manly, au naturale musk that you just can’t help but sniff up? I mean fuck, I soaked up my pitstank and ballsweat after every fuckin’ practice. No shame in it!
I guess he didn’t see it that way. He covered his nose, and started bitchin’ about B.O. I let out a little bit more, and he started sniffin’ more and more. He was pumpin’ a lil’ harder too. He started to like my stank. He closed his eyes, and kept pumpin’, and I realized it was now or never.
I tried a little test spot, and slipped my hand into his left arm. He jerked it away, shaking it off for a second. Didn’t take long for him to keep wankin’ to my smells. So I slipped it back in. This time, it stuck. I lifted up his hand and felt air for the first time in years. It’s the little things you remember I guess, and that was one of them. It was so fuckin’ addictive, you know, life. I had a taste, and I wanted more. This little cuck started freakin’ out, watching his hand move on it’s own. So I shoved my right hand into his, and kept pumpin’ his tiny lil’ cock. I cupped his left hand over his mouth so he’d quit yelpin’, and shoved my big ass feet into his.
This was somethin’ I didn’t think about: I was so much bigger than him! So when my size 13 foot slipped into his size 8... Let’s see. You ever worn wet socks that are two sizes too small? Don’t ask why I have, but that’s what it’s like. I wriggled his toes. My thighs were like twice the size of his, and it felt like he was gonna fuckin’ tear in two. My ass phased into his, not without a little force.
I mean, he was filled to the max, I had to really push to get all of me into him. He’s yelpin’ and cryin’ this entire time, losing control of himself, feeling like he’s an inflatin’ balloon... I’d feel sorry for him if he weren’t such a fuckin’ cuck to everyone. So, when I shoved my pecs into his, I was pretty much all in. I let his hand off his mouth just for a second. Only for him to get one little cry for help out. That’s when I slammed my head into his. Everything went dark. I saw his memories fly away, forcing them out... Forcing Emilio the pussy bully out. Within like, ten seconds, I opened my eyes and smiled.
That’s when I really took control. His body started pulsating, spasming. Under his skin you could see ripples of muscle starting to bulk and inflate. His body was starting to make room for me! I mean, I was growing so fast, it looked like a fuckin’ balloon being inflated. And it felt good. It was like every muscle in my body was being worked out at once, like the best, most satisfying workout I’ve ever had. I noticed that room full of jockscent (trademark) started pouring into my now hairy pits, huge uncut cock, and strong, gigantic feet. I smelled like I used to. I felt like I used to. I mean, I was back. I looked down at where Emilio’s hipster threads used to be- they were laying in shreds on the floor. I tore his black tee shirt to fit my fuckin’ sexy ass arms and chest. I looked in the mirror. Damn, I looked good. I flexed my new muscles, knowing I’d be putting them to good use.
Mr. Puckey began to pound on the door. I guess it was passing time, and he needed to take his daily titanic shit. I whipped open the door, the smell pouring out of the bathroom, the fatass math teach looked at me like I was a fuckin’ alien.
“Excuse me, mister! What are you doing! Put some clothes on!” Fuck, I didn’t miss that voice. But, I did need a new coach. I was gonna bring back football. I was gonna be that slick, sexy, cool bro that the school worships. I was back on the throne, bruh. And Puckey was gonna be in for a quick perspective change real soon. Until then, I strode away, girls gigglin’ and guys noddin’. Yeah, the king is back, baby.

Remember that time I started a Game Grumps/egobangiplier fanfiction and never got further than three and a half pages?
yeahmeneither
‘I’m Sonic the Motherfucking Hedgehog,  or more like, the fuckin’, fuckin’, what even is a hedgehog do we even get those in America what the fuck why isn’t it like Sonic the Armadillo those shitheads can roll into a ball and probably move really fast maybe I mean I don’t even know.’
Those were the thoughts casually flowing through the brain of one Arin Hanson as he sat in class, the monotone of algebra a mere background noise as the lead of his pencil scratched furiously against squared paper. What should have been numbers was multiple, somewhat crude doodles and drawings of video game characters. A particularly sad and bewildered Tails ‘Miles’ Prower stood, arms a bit too long for his body, looking lost as Sonic flipped him the bird, and a sense of angry pride swelled in Arin’s head.
“Hahahaa!” His thoughts were broken by a pleasant, but to him incredibly disruptive, laugh coming from the back of the class.
“What the ffffFFFUCK.” He spat out involuntarily and entirely without thinking, the tip of his pencil breaking as though to echo his rage. Of course, that exclamation was supposed to be in his head, not bellowed out for his entire class to hear. Although actually quite shy, Arin was not known for his self control.
“Excuse me, Mr. Hanson?” Dread practically dripped down his neck as he heard those words from the authoritative figure that was his Maths tutor, hairs prickling up on his arms as he realised what he had just done. “Is something wrong?”
“I-... Uhhh.” He muttered, cheeks burning with embarrassment, yet still he could not stop himself from glancing around to the source of the laugh that caused his outburst. Why was he being punished when someone else was fooling around in class?
The merriment came from the lanky, long-legged boy who always sat out of reach and out of consequence, his chair tilted back as he looked at Arin, his gaze not seeming to actually reach the shorter, grumpy boy but instead always looking past him, as though something else ultimately took his interest.
Daniel Avidan, or Danny to his friends, was not your typical troublemaker. He never paid attention, never handed in homework, never really seemed to do... Anything. This infuriated Arin to no end, because despite his preference for other creative hobbies he always did his best to scrape by. Yet this other boy, this tall, big-haired, droopy-eyed, painfully charming student never seemed to have a care in the world.
“How about you think about it outside the class and let the rest of us get back to learning, Mr. Hanson?” Arin’s eyes quickly snapped back to his teacher at hearing those words, and he resisted his natural instinct to swear under his breath, or question if that was a request or a demand when he knew full well what it was.
He clumsily snatched up all of his belongings, jabbing pencils and notebooks into his backpack as he tried not to let the amused stares of his peer’s burn into the back of his head for too long, chin length strands of slightly greasy mahogany hair falling over his eyes and allowing him to hide his shame.
Just as he was about to reach the freedom of the corridor, he heard that laugh again. Girls liked that laugh; they thought it was “cute”. It made Arin freeze on the spot and his hands clenched into fists. In that moment he hated that laugh and everything that it stood for. To be fair, Arin was known for his melodramatic attitude.
He burst out of the classroom and closed the door behind him, swinging his backpack onto the floor and pressing his forehead against the wall of the hallway. ‘Stupid, stupid, stupid.’ His brain repeatedly battered away at him, being this close to escaping the prison that was high school and going to college meant that he didn’t have room to make mistakes like this.
Whilst he considered himself to be a loner, Arin was actually in a very happy place. All of the awkwardness of being bullied for being “nerdy” had settled as fellow students focused on their studies and the paths that would inevitably lead to college or other roads in life, and he had amassed a small but very loyal group of friends.
He groaned quietly, smooshing his face into the wall as he imagined what said friends would say when they found out that he managed to get kicked out of his class this late into the game. In fact he didn’t really need to imagine it because he knew exactly how they would react, one young man in particular whose maniacal, “HAH HAH HAAAH!” would no doubt soon be echoing throughout the corridors.
“Uh, hey man, are you... Alright?” He was pulled out of his thoughts by the sudden question and Arin flew backwards, almost bumping into the student who approached him out of the blue. He furiously brushed and swept at his hair with his hands before actually laying eyes on the kind stranger. “You looked pretty intimate with that wall there.”
“Oh, hey, dude! I’m fine! I’m great!” Arin bellowed in response before giving a clumsy, fairly pointless thumbs up.
Before him stood someone that he did not recognise, though he appeared to be of a similar age. He was just a tad shorter than Arin though with a broader build, with jet black hair draped across his forehead. His face was handsome but understated, and he appeared to be at least part East Asian in ethnicity.
“Uhhh, do I know you?” Arin continued, staring dumbly at the shorter boy.
“Oh, uh, no, I don’t think so! I’m Mark!” Mark Fischbach, as it turned out, quickly introduced himself whilst glancing around, an obvious sense of nervousness about him that wasn’t hidden by his surprisingly low voice that had an almost radio DJ quality to it. “Hey I don’t mean to bother you, but I am totally lost here, it’s my first day and I literally have no idea where I’m going.”
“Oh, bro! Yeah sure, I mean, I can probably help.” Arin involuntarily puffed his chest out, his natural desire to go into ‘show off’ mode kicking in. “Where do you need to get to? I know this whole place super well, almost like someone who comes here every day.”
“Oh, well, I’m trying to find Room 237; it’s for Chemistry with Ms Dubois..?” He sheepishly responded, searching Arin’s face for a response.
“Noooo problem!” The young man beamed, easily distracted from his previous woes. “I’ll show you how to get there, consider me your personal guide.” With that he snatched up his backpack, the dark colour of the fabric carrier decorated with little bursts of colour in the form of hand-made badges and key rings of his own artwork, along with bright candy packets littered in Japanese font sitting in the small netted pocket at the front.
He set off with long, proud strides and the meeker boy followed behind him, making sure to keep up with the slightly erratic youth that he had encountered. As they travelled across the school building, its halls ghostly quiet due to classes being in session, they made small talk.
As it turned out, Mark had just moved into the neighbourhood and was trying his best to catch up, but Arin got the impression that the other teenager was very bright and even more modest. Mark found Arin’s quirky, eager to please attitude strangely charming and enjoyed the boy’s constant outbursts of facts about the school, though sometimes he found it a little difficult to get any words of his own into the conversation.
“So, uh, like. Are you-... You know.” Arin suddenly stopped and stared at Mark, then at the floor, then back at Mark, and then pretty much everywhere he could possibly lay his eyes in an attempt to hide his embarrassment. “Nihonjin.”
“Ni-... Home gym..? Wha’?” Mark blinked, absolutely lost.
“You know, nihonjin, nippon, nihongo?” Arin muttered through his teeth, moving closer to the shorter student and now staring at him intensely with an expectant look.
“Is... Is this hazing?”
“WHAT. No. Man, you know! Japanese? Are you Japanese!?”
“Oh! .... Huh?”
“Oh my God, Arin, not every Asian person is Japanese.” The awkwardness was abruptly broken by two students appearing behind them having just walked around the corner, the taller of the two placing a hand upon Arin’s shoulder. “Are you harassing people again?”
“Barry!” Arin exclaimed and jumped back away from Mark, “I was just... No!” His bottom lip jutted out in a dramatic pout whilst his follower continued to look utterly confused. “...Wait, what are you doing out of class?”
“I had to walk this guy to the nurse’s office.” Barry responded, waving his thumb over at the grinning youth next to him.
“I got bitten by a crocodile!” Said youth exclaimed, strands of pale brown hair cascading over his eyebrows, beneath them his blue eyes were wide and bright despite the fact that one of his hands was wrapped around his knee whilst and he hopped awkwardly upon his other leg, obviously injured.
“No, you did not. Someone decided that it would be a good idea to try and play cricket whilst everyone else was running track, and the baseball he used bounced back and hit him.” Barry sighed, putting a palm upon his forehead in exasperation.
“Yeah, well, it’s not my fault that we don’t get to play real sports... Wait, why are YOU out of class?” The hobbling boy asked, his words all lifted by hints of an Australian accent.
“Oh, uhm...” Arin sighed before explaining the situation, and then it happened as expected.
“HAH HAH HAAAH!”
“Shut up Ross! It wasn’t my fault! It was that guy, that... DAN. He thinks he’s so cool just because everyone likes him and he’s so handsome and like, ‘Oh look at me, I’m Dan, I’m so cool and everyone likes me and I’m so handsome!’ Yeah well you’re a loser and you suck.”
“Oh come on, he’s not that bad.” Barry interrupted, leaning against a pillar structure in the wall of the corridor. “So what’s your story?” He nodded over at Mark who was listening patiently to the three.
“Oh, uhm, hi! I’m Mark!” He plucked up and introduced himself, and with that they all started to head towards the new student’s classroom. “So who is this.. Dan?”
“Oh he’s just a guy that Arin is obsessed with.”

Roses are Red, Violets are Adored (Viadore/Katlaska/group fic)
Sorry for the long time between posts. crushing depression + writer’s block = me
Chapter 163
Adore’s Point of view
I took one last look of Violet’s sleeping face before I rounded the corner, I really didn’t want to go but Matt promised he would check in on them regularly and I trusted that he would. Lucy would be back before long as well.
It seemed like a long time since I had been at group because it felt like it had been weeks since I had last gone. I was there a bit early but Selene was there too, she jumped up as soon as she saw me and pulled me into a tight hug, “Bonjour mon amour, how are you? I’ve missed you so! Oh mon dieu! Your hand!”
“Hiya Selene, I KNOW! It feels like it has been forever since we had last spoken to each other instead of it just being the past few meetings. My hand is ok! Don’t worry!” I reassured her, flailing my casted arm around.
"And how is Violet doing now?” a look of concern marring her perfect face.
“They’re much better. We even came to the games room, with Lucy and her new little friend, to play some video games yesterday which was great fun.”
“Oh good!!”
“And how is Luc?” Her son Luc has the same cancer as Lucy does.
“He is good, thank you for asking!!” She smiled brightly, “They are saying we may be able to take him home next week!
"That is AMAZING news!! I’m so very happy for him and you!”
She smiled and nodded, before we could chat any longer, Alexa walked in, holding the hand of a petite raven haired woman.
“Hi!! I am assuming you are Leslie?” I asked, closing the distance between her and I.
“Yes I am! I wanna say you are Danny?” I nodded and she pulled me into a hug. Then she got a quizzical look on her face, “has anyone ever told you that you could be the identical twin of one of my favourite drag queens Adore Delano? She was on a popular drag competition reality show if you haven’t heard of it.” Alexa was grinning behind her.
“I know her actually!”
“REALLY? I’d love to meet her sometime if she is around! If it’s not too much trouble.”
I laughed and stuck my hand out for her to shake it and she looked confused for a moment but finally shook it. “Hi I’m Adore Delano, nice to meet you!”
“Oh my gosh! REALLY??”
“Yep I really am and Violet Chachki is just down the hall.” I grinned, bemused at the shocked expression on her face.
You gotta be shitting me!” she blurted and then covered her mouth, “Sorry, I saw they were being treated for cancer on youtube. Sorry about the swearing,” she looked around at everyone for a minute and then turned back to me. “I should know better seeing as I’m in a kid’s hospital. Hey wait…why are you guys at a children’s hospital?”
“Well it’s a bit of a long story. The Dr in New York that diagnosed them sent them to an oncologist here that deals with their rare type of cancer, but Dr Bailey only has rights to treat here so here is where we came.”
“Makes sense. I can’t believe I’m talking to you!”
I giggled, “Well believe it baby!”
Olive came in and introduced herself to Leslie. “Ok gang, why don’t we begin?”
“Wait,” I said. “What about Grayson?”
Olive’s face fell, “Grayson’s daughter has taken a turn for the worse and he said he would much rather spend that time with her. Which of course is understandable! Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”
We all nodded slowly, all of us dreading the possibility that that could be us someday.
The meeting was subdued. At the end of it, I told Alex and Leslie I would call their son’s room if and when Vi was up to visitors as I didn’t want them to just come with me since Vi was having chemo again and I didn’t know how they would be feeling. I knew how sensitive Vi can be about their appearance sometimes.
Surprisingly, when I tiptoed into the room, Vi was sitting up chatting with Lucy, unhooked from chemo but not quite green yet. Ross bucket was lying on the bed near Vi’s crossed legs. They didn’t see me but I saw them, Lucy must have said something funny because they threw their head back in their characteristic laugh that made my stomach get butterflies like riding a rollercoaster. Their eyes flicked to me and they smiled, beckoning me forward with one finger and like a fish on a hook I followed with a goofy smile I couldn’t and wouldn’t shake.
Lucy is sitting and there is a boy sitting beside Lucy that wasn’t Frederick. He had ginger hair that was spiked up, he was wearing dark jeans, a loose diamond-patterned pale emerald short-sleeved button-up shirt and a silver bowtie. As soon as he saw me, he stood up and wiped his hands on his jeans.
“Hi! Nice to meet you! Do you prefer Danny or Adore?” He twanged.
“You forgot to tell him your name goof!” Lucy laughed, she looked radiant.
“Er…sorry! I’m Samuel, Lucy’s brother. Sorry I haven’t been here yet to meet you.” He was holding his breath, I wondered if it was because I knew he was trans. Like that even fucking mattered…well it mattered but it didn’t matter.
“Hey man.” I said, he put out his hand to shake and then switched when he saw my cast. He chuckled, the ice was broken as he sat back down beside Lucy who was beaming crazily up at her brother. It honestly made me wanna cry with how sweet it was.
Violet reached their hand out and pulled me to sit beside them
“You forgot to tell him your name goof!” Violet repeated Lucy’s earlier statement.
“Oh yeah!” I smacked my forehead, “sorry Samuel! Either is fine with me. Half the time Vi and I call each other by our drag names because we both answer to which ever! So you’re home!! Welcome back! Lucy has told us a lot about you.”
“All horrible stuff. I’ve told them nothing but horrible things.” Lucy deadpanned.
“I would expect anything less of you lil sister.” He chuckled, ruffling her hair like a big brother should.
She squirmed out of the way and smoothed down her bangs again. “Get away you!” She took a closer look at him, squinting up at him. “You doing ok? If you need to go, I understand hun. You should get some rest bro. I’m ok!”
Upon closer inspection, Samuel did look as green as his shirt.
“You ok man?” Vi asked, concern in their voice.
Samuel chuckled morosely. “I could ask you the same thing. Incoming!”
Violet groaned and grabbed up Ross, I rubbed their back and murmured the usual reassurances while Lucy and Samuel had a whispered conversation that I was probably not meant to hear.
“Sammy, you just got home, you need to rest. You KNOW that I understand.”
“Luce, it was bad enough I was away so much longer than I was supposed to be! I don’t want to leave already. I’m fine.”
“Samuel, we both know you are not fine! Do NOT even try it. You won’t heal if you don’t take care of yourself. You have to take your meds.”
“They make me tired.”
“I know, most pain meds make people sleepy. You can ask the doctor at your appointment for meds that aren’t as strong but right now you NEED them. Please?”
Vi must have heard the conversation because as soon as they surfaced from the bucket, they jabbed the nurse’s button fiercely with their thumb.
“Can I help you?” A nurse’s voice crackled from the speaker on the wall.
“Hi can I get my pain meds?”
“I’ll be right in with them Jason.”
“Thank you.” Vi looked straight at Samuel and smirked, “ok your turn.” They raised one spotty eyebrow at him. “Sorry not sorry, this room is not that big. Lucy knows what she is talking about. Listen to her. Please?”
“You too Danny?” Lucy said with her own raised ginger brow.
I put my hand up, “hey! Hey! Why you gotta bring me into this?”
“Because you are also in pain.” Violet said.
“God, aren’t we all a mess!!?” I exclaimed and we all burst out into laughter until we were holding our stomachs and Samuel was even greener.
10 minutes later we had all taken our meds, Samuel had winced when he leaned over to grab his meds from his backpack. Vi and I pretended not to notice as we were suddenly engrossed in our fingernails or the ceiling.
“You guys are so not fooling me. So I had…”
“No Samuel, you don’t have to tell us. It’s ok!”
“No, I don’t mind. I recently went to Mexico and had top surgery. I had to stay longer than intended due to complications outside of anyone’s control. It was a good facility, not one of those seedy places so it wasn’t because of that. Hopefully I can get the drains out tomorrow when I see my Dr here.” He said and then yawned.
“Hey why don’t you stretch out on the couch tonight Samuel? Vi will let me sleep with them, right hun?”
I saw a shadow of fear pass over Jason’s face, I think I could safely bet that they were worried about having a nightmare with Samuel in the room. I put my hand on their knee, and they looked at him and nodded with a queasy smile. “Yeah that would be great! Please stay Samuel, if you want to!”
“Are you sure you don’t mind? I am extremely tired.”
“Not at all! I have a spare set of pajamas if you wanna borrow them.” I offered, moving around the bed and plucking a pair of lounge pants and an oversized Tshirt from my suitcase and throwing them at Lucy since it would probably hurt him to raise his arms.
“Well the thing is, I might bleed on the shirt.” He said, looking around awkwardly.
“Meh, what’s a little blood between friends? But here, use this one and keep it.” I went to my suitcase and pulled out an extra large black Adore merch shirt, throwing that one to Lucy.”
“Really?” He exclaimed, looking like someone just gave him a million bucks.
“Yep.”
“Thank you!” He said and yawned.
“Ok you go put those on young man and I’ll make up the couch with fresh linens since I know where to find them now.”
About 20 minutes later, Lucy tucked her big bro in and a nurse came in to give Lucy her sleep and pain meds. I curled up with Violet, holding their petite body up against mine. “I really actually love you Jason. Oh and I have to go to the Doctor tomorrow at 1 about my hand. Please don’t let me forget.”
“I’ll remind you.” Jason said sleepily, “I really actually love you too. Thanks for suggesting that Samuel stay for the night. You’re the best.”
Jason sighed and was asleep within minutes. I stayed awake for a bit thinking of all the things I had to do to pull off the surprise that was in my head. The pain meds were pulling me down to sleep and I was happy that my hand wasn’t throbbing with every beat of my heart.

Lessons in Love 2: Commencement - Chapter Thirty Seven
“I was thinking, maybe Jasmine and Aladdin or Danny and Sandy from Grease. Oooh! Or Daisy and Gatsby!” As I sat on the floor between Justin’s legs, I scrolled through Pinterest looking at couples’ Halloween costume ideas.  “We could do Greek mythology…like Zeus and Nemesis or Aphrodite, or one of his many other hoes…” “I wanna do something funny, though. Like Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy,” he said as he lathered his hands with moisturizer. I rolled my eyes as Justin mentioned characters from one of his favorite comedies.  “This is my first Halloween in LA so I wanna be something cute or sexy, especially if we’re going to one of those big parties.”  Regardless of where we ended up going I knew I wanted to look dope. “We don’t have to do a couple’s costume. If you wanna do Blades of Glory, that’s fine.  I could be something else.” “But babe,” Justin whined as he ran his hands through a section of my hair, coating the freshly washed and oiled strands with the creamy moisturizer.  After begging me to teach him, Justin insisted on twisting my hair every once in a while.  Even though he wasn’t great at it, I appreciated the effort and it was nice to just feel his fingers running through my hair. I’d probably just end up wearing it up tomorrow anyway.  “This is our first Halloween as a couple,” he continued.  “We should do something together.” I couldn’t help my smile as Justin manipulated my hair into a two strand twist.  “Well we’ll have to compromise.  But I wanted to ask you something,” I said, changing the subject. “What do you think about having our families come for Thanksgiving?  I just think it’s time to get our families together.”  Justin and I have officially been together for just about nine months, but after everything we’ve been through over the last two years, it’s really felt like forever.  Bringing our families together just seemed long overdue. “I think that’s an awesome idea, baby.” Justin kissed my temple then continued with my hair.  We could have Chef Gina do a whole spread.” “Nah.  Thanksgiving should be cooked by hand by us… I dunno.  I’ll figure it out.”  Cooking is a big deal in my family, on both sides. We put our love into our cooking and we show we care with food.  I didn’t always subscribe to traditional gender roles and believed in balance, but cooking for Justin and our families also showed a level of responsibility that would impress them and put their worries at ease. “Who all do you wanna invite?” “My dad and maybe my grandma.  Jeremy and Patty, and the kids if it’s cool with their mom..  Just something small and intimate.  I think it’ll be nice.  Wait…” I paused.  “Do y’all Canadians even celebrate Thanksgiving?”  The thought hadn’t even occurred to me. “Of course we do.  Just not the same day.  It was a couple days ago, actually.” “What?!” I whipped around, pulling my hair from his hands.  “Why didn’t you say anything?  We could have done something nice.  J, I’m so sorry.” “Would you please sit still?”  Justin adjusted my shoulders so that my back was to him again.  “It’s not a big deal. I’ve been living in the US for so long that I just celebrate it in November now.” It’s weird to me that they even celebrate Thanksgiving in October.  “What do you eat?  In my head I’m picturing Tim Horton’s and poutine.” Justin yanked on my hair.  “Shut up,” he said with a chuckle.  “Obviously we eat turkey…and drink maple syrup.  We’re Canadian, eh.”
Halloween I only went trick-or-treating a few times as a kid.  My mom was never a fan of Halloween so she never wanted to take me.  On the off chance that my begging would work, I’d go with Drea and her mom.  So I was probably a little too excited to go when Justin told me his siblings were coming and we’d get to take them out.  Not wanting to miss out on my goddaughter’s first Halloween either, I had Drea, Aaliyah, and Dougie flown in for the weekend. The four of us and the three kids got dressed up and set out to collect candy in The Oaks.  Even though I drive in and out of this neighborhood every day, I felt like I was seeing these homes for the first time as we walked up to each one. Every home in The Estates at The Oaks was different, customized to the tastes of the owners.  Grand in both size and style, each home spanned nearly a block. They were so spread apart that it took a minute or two to walk to each one.  Despite there only being a few homes in this Calabasas community, I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it to each one. The kids had elaborate costumes, totally outdoing the adults.  “Spin around and let me see your Elsa costume,” Drea said to Jazmyn.  The little girl twirled in her sparkling blue dress, so excited to finally be dressed as the Disney ice princess.  Her younger brother ran up and down sidewalk, flapping his Batman cape as if he could fly.  Dougie pulled Aaliyah in a wagon and she looked absolutely adorable in her cute little strawberry costume.  In keeping with the fruit theme Drea donned a ridiculous banana suit and Dougie was dressed as a pineapple.  “We’re a fruit basket,” Dougie had said when they’d all emerged rom their guest room ready to take pictures. Despite the outlandishly large mansions, the families at each one gave out a handful of candy just like in any other neighborhood.  “I half expected them to be giving out iPhones or silver spoons,” Drea said with a laugh. “Girl, me too,” I said, adjusting my cat ears. The adults were saving their fancy costumes for the big Halloween party tomorrow night.  Justin just threw on a plaid shirt and a cowboy hat, all things that he already owned, and called himself a sheriff. “I can’t wait for us to be able to do family costumes like y’all,” I mused, mostly to myself.  I couldn’t help but be a little jealous of all the parents and their kids dressed in adorable themes, hoping one day I’d be among them with kids of my own. “Have you been thinking about having kids again?” “No, not really.  I mean, sorta.  I dunno,” I shrugged.  “Every time I see Justin around children my ovaries start freaking the fuck out,” I whispered.  Justin and Dougie had taken the kids up to knock on the next door while Andrea and I stayed on the sidewalk, out of hearing distance.  “I obviously want kids someday.  Justin and I are nowhere near ready to even have this conversation. We’re just trying to make it into the next week, but I just can’t help the baby fever I get every now and then.”   Our relationship is so tumultuous and unpredictable, but I looked forward to growing with him.  No matter what we go through, we’re always improving for the better.  But I’m not focused on the future.  “I am enjoying it just being the two of us, learning more about each other and strengthening who we are as a couple.  It’s just, my clock is ticking and…you know what? I sound like an idiot.  Let me stop.” “You’re not an idiot,” my best friend said as the guys walked back down with the kids.   “I think it’s normal to think about kids.  But you’ve got plenty of time.” “Babe!” Justin hollered, eyes wide, holding onto Jaxon’s candy bucket as he ran down the walkway.  “The lady gave out full sized candy bars!  Like the big ones!  We should have gotten our own bags…”  He held up a large Snickers.  “See!?” Jaxon glared at his older brother with his little hands on his hips.  “That’s my candy!” “We can share, buddy.” “My kid can’t even eat candy yet so this is all mine,” Dougie bragged. “Bro, you got like two giant Snickers!” Justin tried to peek into Aaliyah’s bucket.  “It’s not fair that all the babies get all the best candy and they don’t even have teeth.” I shook my head silently as Drea gave me a knowing glance and Justin and Dougie negotiated a candy trade deal.  With a sigh I smiled to myself.  We have our hands full with two big ass kids already. By the time we got back to the house, Jax and Jazzy were bouncing off the walls having already eaten what looks like pounds of candy.  We all should have known better than to let them eat so much of it but we weren’t paying attention until it was too late. Now they are running around like psychos, screaming because we took their candy away and keeping the baby awake who is now hollering too.  I swear this has to be a record for going from angelic to demonic in 0.2 seconds. “That’s not fair!” Jazzy kept screaming with tears streaming down her face as if the world had ended.  Jaxon was no better, throwing a fit and kicking Justin in the shins as he pried the candy bucket out of his little angry hands. Since the guys were in charge of the monitoring the candy, it was their job to get all of them to calm down and into bed. As I rubbed my temples, I plopped down on the couch next to my best friend who’d already poured each of us a glass of whiskey.  She’s smart.  Wine just wasn’t going to cut it. “Still want those kids right now?” she asked with a smirk. “Nah, I think I’m good for a while.” There was no better birth control than some loud misbehaving kids.
JPOV When we pulled up to the house I paused before turning to my mom in the back of the SUV.  “She’s a little stressed today, so just be chill, okay?”  My mom could have driven herself to my place but I figured she’d appreciate being picked up for the fancy Thanksgiving dinner we’re having. Despite everything I’d said, Yadira insisted on doing everything herself rather than letting me hire a chef.  I just figured it’d be nice to spend time with your family instead of slaving away in the kitchen.  But what do I know? And of course she’s been freaking out all weak. From a chaotic paparazzi filled trip to the grocery store to a gridlocked trip to the airport, things have been quite stressful for her.  Everyone knows that stress can take its toll on her.  Fortunately, once her dad was in town she seemed to be a little more at ease, but the pressure of our parents meeting for the first time was freaking her out again. “I’m chill,” my mom scoffed, trying way too hard to be cool.  Things between them were civil, even friendly now, but I know the both of them were still a little on edge in each other’s presence. With a roll of my eyes I left the car and my mom followed.  As soon as I opened the door I could smell the food.  Yadira’s been at it all day.  “Pattie!” she exclaimed as she came around the corner.  “It’s so good to see you!”  She pulled my mom into a hug with a big smile. “Likewise! And that dress is so pretty,” my mom replied.  Yadira twirled around in her orange DVF dress.  Even though I told her that she didn’t need to get dressed up, she insisted and forced me to dress up too.  I just threw on a grey sweater and some dark jeans that didn’t have any holes in them, you know, the dressy kind.  But I shouldn’t complain.  She looks cute in her little homemaker dress or whatever. “Babe, you need anything?” I asked, already knowing her answer. “Don’t worry.  Just spend some time with your mom. Dinner is almost ready.”  She scurried away and left me and my mom standing in the foyer. “Wow, this is just so…beautiful,” my mom said as we walked by the dining room all the glasses, plates and silverware (bought by Yadira specifically for this occasion) were set nicely around an elaborate centerpiece. “I actually helped with this part,” I said proudly. Our dads were watching football in the den with kids messing around in the corner.  My dad wasn’t really big into football, but he seemed to be having fun with Carmello.  To be honest, I was nervous about them meeting.  They’re just so…different. But so far so good. As we approached Yadira’s dad stood off the couch, followed by my dad.  Carmello towered over my mom, more than most people did, making her seem childlike next to him. “Mr. Bernard, this is my mom, Pattie.”   With his giant hands and long arms, he reached out to pull my mother into a hug. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you. Both of you.” Our parents settled on the couch discussing boring shit like the weather and traffic in LA.  “Are you enjoying Los Angeles?”  Yadira’s dad came a few days ago to spend some time with his daughter and explore the city. “I’m loving the weather.  It’s a nice break from the cold.”   Boredom swept over me and I felt my eyeballs glazing over. When they were too deep into a conversation about the difference between Canadian and American Thanksgiving traditions, I slipped away into the kitchen to check on my girl.  She’d managed to refuse help from everyone all day except her grandmother who was making some sort of salad off to the side. “Justin, please go sit!” Yadira waved me off, stirring something on stove. “Let me help,” I said, noting the stress on her face. “No!” she snapped.  “You need to mingle with our parents.” I dunno why she kept thinking we couldn’t leave them alone or something.  “They’ll be fine. They can entertain themselves.”  Even if she didn’t want my help, I was happy to just stand in the kitchen inhaling all the mouth-watering smells.  “Oh my God, I’m starving!”  The words tumbled out of my mouth with a growl as if spoken by my stomach.  Driven by hunger, I tore off a corner of a cornbread muffin and shoved it into my mouth. “Fuck, Justin! Stop!” At first she caught me off guard, but I knew better than to take it personally. Since meeting Ya, I’ve learned that anxiety comes in many forms.  Even my own.  Sometimes getting upset was how she coped. Her grandma Ella, on the other hand, wasn’t as understanding. “Enough, Yadira! You’ve been rude and bratty all afternoon.” It’s true.  Our morning started out fine, but as the cooking went on Yadira became stressed and her attitude began to show. “This is why I didn’t want anyone in here with me,” she grumbled not so softly under her breath. “Relax, babe!” I intervened, trying to prevent a fight.  Under normal circumstances, Yadira would never speak to her grandmother with that tone so I knew she must be feeling like she was under a lot of pressure. “It’s not that serious. It’s just food.” She scoffed. “I didn’t ask for either of you to—ow, shit!”  As she was chopping onions she sliced right into her finger.  As her eyes filled with tears, her grandma rushed over with a paper towel. “I’ve got it, Miss Ella,” I said, wrapping my arms around Yadira’s shoulders.  “Let’s get you a band aid.”  I could tell she was trying so hard not to let the water in her eyes spill over onto her cheeks and I could tell those tears were for much more than just the pain from her cut. When we got to the guest bathroom, I closed the door behind us before rummaging under the sink for the first aid kit. “I don’t have time for this,” she mumbled with a sniffle.  “The macaroni and cheese is going to burn.” Paying her worry no mind, I found the kit and pat the edge of the counter for her to sit down.  “I’m sure your grandma’s got it under control. Chill.” Yadira’s wound was bleeding through the paper towel and was probably going to need much more than a band aid. “Besides,” I continued.  “That cut looks worse that I think you realize. Rinse your finger.” With a frown, she followed my order while I looked through the kit for the necessary supplies to tend to my wounded lady. “Is there blood on my dress?”  She looked down at her dress frantically while keeping her I injured hand under the faucet. “Your dress is fine.  You look great.  Come, sit back down.”  I gave her some tissues as she moved to sit back on top of the bathroom counter. “Now you wanna tell me what’s going on?” Though knowing her and her neurotic tendencies when she was stressed, I think I already had a good idea. “Nothing is going on,” she snapped. “Maybe you’ve forgotten how well I know you…” With a raised eyebrow, I threw out the tissues and dressed her cut with some Neosporin.  The bleeding was down to a minimum now but I could tell by the way she winced when I touched it that it still hurt. With a roll of her teary eyes and a sigh, Yadira leaned back against the bathroom mirror.  “You know, sue me for trying to make our first Thanksgiving together special.” “It already is special, babe,” I said, giving her some gauze to hold against her wound.  “Not only is it our first Thanksgiving together, but it’s the first time our families are getting together.  That’s huge.” “Exactly!” she said exasperatedly as I wrapped a bandage around the tip of her finger.  This was going to complicate using her hands in the kitchen, but she was just going to have to deal.  “I just want it to be perfect.” “Then why do you keep snapping at people who are only trying to help you?”  After all of her effort, things were about as perfect as they were going to get.  The significance of today didn’t excuse her attitude.  And she knew it. There was guilt written all over her face as she tried not to cry.  I felt guilty too, watching her get so upset and put so much stress and pressure on herself.  But enabling her helped no one.  We worked so well together because we called each other out on our shit.  Tears weren’t going to change that. “I’m just trying to prove that we could do this.  Be a normal, healthy, functioning couple.  Everyone out there had their doubts about us being together.  They doubted my decision to be with you. Your family, my family, and at times even we did.   Pulling off the perfect Thanksgiving seemed like the best way to prove everyone wrong. To prove to your mom that I can take care of you and to prove to my dad that we’ve got it together.”  She looked down at her hands, picking at the new bandage.  “I realize how stupid that sounds now that I say it out loud.” It bothered me that she was carrying around this burden of proof, as if executing the perfect Thanksgiving dinner and painting this image of the perfect family, was some act of redemption. Our being together is not a sin and nothing we could do will ever erase our messy history or complicated past. And I would never want to.  It’s part of who we are and what makes our relationship so strong. “We do not owe anyone anything.  We do not need to prove anything to anyone.  Nothing anyone says is ever going to change what we have between us, family or not.  And I think our families know and respect that now, and if they don’t, fuck ‘em.” She sighed heavily and nodded.  “I know that.  I think I was just getting in my own head.” “You gotta quit doing that, baby girl.  You’re stressing yourself out which sometimes stresses me out.  So can you relax for me, please?”  I wrapped my arms around her waist and looked down at her.  “Everyone is already impressed with everything you’ve done.  Just try to relax and have some fun.”  When we look back on our first major holiday together, I want us to remember how much fun we had with our families, not what color napkin rings she used. I brought her bandaged finger up to my lips and gave it a tiny kiss.  “Are you chill now?” I asked, noting the tension that remained on her face.  So stubborn.  “Or am I going to have to resort to other methods?” “What other methods?” she scoffed. I was hoping she’d ask. I leaned forward, caging her in with either hand pressed against the glass.  Since her dad has been in town, she’s been paranoid about him catching us in the act even though he’s sleeping in bedroom on the other side of the house. It was crazy to me how this girl wasn’t shy about getting freaky in public but the minute her father shows up it’s a totally different story. “Don’t kiss me,” she said, putting her hand on my chest.  “I don’t want my makeup to get messed up.” “Don’t worry,” I said as my lips pulled into a wide smile.  “The lips I plan on kissing don’t have any lipstick on them.”  I dropped to my knees and spread her legs apart.  Yadira attempted to stop me by smushing her hand in my face and pressing her thighs together. “Don’t.  Our families are on the other side of that door.  If my father hears us, he’ll murder you and make your parents watch.” “Then if you value my life at all, I suggest you stay quiet.” I pleaded with her, giving her my best pouty face.  I just wanted to taste her and watch as the stress left her body.  “I just want to make you feel good, baby.” My girlfriend looked down at me then toward the door before looking back at me.  She was silent for a moment, as if weighing her options in her head.  Without a word she spread her thighs apart again, the uncertainty in her eyes quickly replaced with wanting anticipation. I accepted this as an invitation to curl my fingers around her panties and slide them down her legs and over her heeled sandals, tucking them discreetly into my back pocket.  Leaving her feet in her pretty pumps, I kissed her ankle just above the strap of her shoe.  My kisses didn’t cease as they traveled up her leg to her inner thigh where I bit into the fleshiest part of her body. Yadira’s gasp was subtle as she leaned back into the mirror.  “You must have a death wish, Bieber.” “Well if I’m going to die today, I’d better make it count.”  And I couldn’t have asked for a better ‘last meal’. Hooking my hands under her knees, I pulled her toward me so her but rested on the edge of the counter.  I was careful not to wrinkle her dress as I pushed her thighs back and even further apart so she was nice and open for me to taste.  My tongue swept over her pussy quickly, lapping at the moisture that’d already gathered there.  When my lips touched her again, I lingered, sliding my tongue between her folds, licking from her center to her clit. Yadira stifled a groan as she gripped the edge of the counter.  I worked my tongue skillfully against her skin, burying my face into her sex, coating my nose, lips, and chin in her arousal.  Like a starving animal, I devoured her, my hunger for her insatiable. Sweat misted my forehead and a faint ache formed in my jaw, but I wanted more.  As I wrapped my lips around her clit, Yadira shoved her fingers into my hair, crying out as she pulled on the strands.  I growled against her before sucking the button of nerves firmly into my mouth. “Fuck!” Her head fell back against the mirror with a soft thud and she grit her teeth, trying not to make any more noise. If I hadn’t been so focused on making her come, I would have laughed at her failed attempts to stifle the involuntary sounds she was making without touching her face or disturbing her makeup. But I was determined to give her an orgasm that made her forget her own name. My tongue teased her with torturously slow strokes, speeding up only to slow back down just before she reached her climax. I did this over and over again until her thighs were trembling in my grip. “Justin, please,” she begged with a loud moan, not even trying to stay quiet now.  I plunged my tongue deep inside her and her pussy twitched and throbbed around it, causing my dick to harden.  Confident that she was right where I wanted her, I sucked hard on her clit, drawing a violent orgasm out of her.  Her whole body jerked against the mirror and she tried to pull her hips back but I held her tight against my face and tongue.  A slew of incomprehensible phrases toppled randomly from her lips. Then her body stilled, tensing up before releasing into a fit of jerks and shakes.  Her mouth hung open as a second orgasm rolled over her. Her skin was hot in my hands and against my face and I could feel the heat radiating from her even as I pulled away. Suddenly her grip on the counter loosened and she slumped back onto the glass.  When I let go of her thighs they dangled over the edge of the counter like a lifeless ragdoll.   “Still thinking about that mac and cheese?” Yadira just hummed in response, not bothering to formulate and coherent words.  Mission accomplished. While she sat there catching her breath, I attempted to help her sit up but she swatted my hands away.  “Don’t touch me yet.  I feel like I might shatter into a million pieces.” I gave her a minute to cool down before we cleaned ourselves up and fixed the bathroom as if it’d never been disturbed. “Come here and let me fix your hair” I glanced in the mirror and saw the hot mess she left on top of my head. “Sorry,” she mumbled as she attempted to smooth my hair back into place. “You’re not sorry,” I scoffed.  I wouldn’t be either. “For fucking up you’re hair? You’re right, I’m not. Besides, you kinda brought that on yourself.  But I am sorry for acting crazy.” She grabbed my jaw and pecked me quickly on the lips.  “Even though I worry about stupid shit, act out when I am stressed, and behave like an asshole, you still spoil me with earth shattering sex.” “My only plan was to get you to chill the fuck out.” She smiled lazily.  “Well your plan might backfire.  I am so chill I might fall asleep at the stove and burn the house down.” Her eyelids were heavy as she reached to unlock the bathroom door. “That’s only if your dad doesn’t kill us first, loud mouth.”  That was my fault too, but she wouldn’t dare complain.  Though I was proud of my work (I can literally feel my ego and man-pride swelling, or maybe that’s just my unrelieved dick trapped in my pants), I’d be like if I said I wasn’t afraid to face her father.  I didn’t know Carmelo well, but I knew him well enough to know that he wouldn’t take too kindly to hearing his little girl having sex right under his nose, even if we were in our own house. We tiptoed out of the bathroom and back to the kitchen where Ella was still hovering over the stove. “Don’t worry,” she said casually with her back still turned to us. Everyone went outside.  No one heard you…except me.”
