Dirty soda is like dirty coffee to me: Welcome to my taste buds
There is a new phenomenon on TikTok regarding dirty sida. Yes, “dirty” soda- a supposed nightmare for dentists. But is it really? Don’t dentists make more money as our cavity count grows? Semi-rhetorical question there. You may be asking, what is a dirty soda. Well, it is soda mixed with flavored syrups and cream, all served up over ice. There are literally millions of recipes you can make and…
So theoretically would you rather be a prop or actor in a play?
The props are used by others sure, but they are vital. You can't have a play without them and they can completely change the tone and mood of a scene.
The actors have a vague sense of freedom. They follow a script but they interpret it and make it their own. They're the heart of the play but live under stress and pressure, crumbling if taken to far.
Though in the end they're only really good when the director knows how to use them.
Thats Siglai. In this essay I will-
ooooo, i’d probably be an actor honestly.
[the fact i can’t tell which one is supposed to be sigma and which is meant to be nikolai bc i see bits of both in each description tells me this is a very good analogy and i agree wholeheartedly]
ANYWAYS, GOING BASED ON MAJOR DESCRIPTORS: im saying sigma is the prop based on his backstory and current uses plot wise. and Nikolai is the actor!!
THIS IS SUCH A WAY TO DESCRIBE THEM BTW
assuming sigma represents the prop: sigmas sky casino literally houses one of the stages for one of their terror plots, the coin bombs!! and not to mention his backstory being trafficked and used for his ability, being deemed a tool before a person. only to escape and end back in the same exact scenario with less visible strings. <3 but at the same time he is literally how the doa got the whereabouts for the page if i remember correctly, and their stuff wouldn’t have worked without him or just would’ve been more difficult to pull off. [if he defects i wonder what’ll become of the doa tbh. assuming fyodor is most likely alive, and they continue their original goals]
aaand assuming the actor represents nikolai: the only reason he feels that vague freedom is because he believes he proved it everything he does is for free will. he needs to prove it and he needs to know it himself. he’s, of course, a sane individual like everybody else; he, of course, feels the guilt that comes with his actions. yk eventually he won’t be able to put it off anymore he hears the cries, and the screams and everything that comes with proof. he endures. and he endures. and he endures. all the meanwhile he’s only creating more more ties back to his own humanity.
What happens when he finally has to face this humanity of his?
i love minecraft and how it forces me to use creative mode to salvage the worst village known to man. check out the seed viewer for this unpleasant piece of land
that is a beach in the middle of old growth spruce forest. the village is large enough to cut into it. there's also a ravine that happens to ravage the landscape in this area and an abandoned ship that's buried underground. my home is across that river and because the village is so close i decided to fix it up so i can integrate it into the ecosystem im building here. i was gonna do it in survival but that would've used up way too many resources and the health of my hand. some highlights of the shit i had to fix:
this house was entirely isolated in this little corner that's also a turtle beach apparently. it's still lonely as hell but at least it's accessible now. the dune behind it was a big old block of sand and i had to blow up significant portions of it (there's a couple cobblemon ore blocks behind it in the air for a vague reference of how high the land was over there)
another place where i blew shit up so i could build a path underneath that cliff
bridge. i don't know if the villagers are even using it but i sure will because it was the only reasonable way of connecting the isolated house to the rest of the town
the ravine caused issues here and the ground just sank down between those houses and where i put some mossy cobble for pathways. i filled it up. i also blocked off a dead-end cave that i did not fill up because im not that unhinged
also a map of the surrounding area
those pools of water were not connected and there was a dune between them which i blew up. this would've made for a very neat beach if it was actually near an ocean and not In The Middle Of Some Woods which while conceptually funny was ruined by the village and the ravine
i don't have any screenshots from before i fixed this but if you wish to peruse the village in its natural state and perhaps terraform it yourself the seed is 6906213353473159985 for 1.20 and the coordinates are 2329, 2470
But like,, why did they make the main cast racist in MLP? Yeah, I get its to teach a very basic understanding to kids or whatever, but its feels like its always, or mostly, from the perspective of people who discriminate instead of poc's feelings about it.
In kids shows, when the plotline doesn't have race (or whatever allegory they use), it's usually from someone who was wronged or does something bad then has it happen to them, making the child watch it put themselves in the main character's shoes. Like episodes on bullying using have the main characters being bullied or be a bully then learn how it feels to be bullied somehow. But when its a race allegory, it's almost always from the racist's perspective.
And I get white people need to know how to respond when they see racism to not join in, but the fact that poc are constantly plot devices to teach this instead of the focus is sidelining poc in discussions of racism.
I was wondering why I was feeling so bad and then I remembered... Ah... I'm listening to an audiobook about the Donner party. Let's leave it there for now.
gamefreak's track record of designing pokemon is so wack like imagine designing a defensively oriented grass type whose primary purpose is supporting its team with things like aromatherapy and dual screens and not giving it sleep powder. or making a pair of magnificent dogs where one of them gets banned to anything goes along the likes of mega rayquaza and the other is stuck using howl to boost its attack if it wants to boost it in any way that matters. imagine creating a whole pokemon type, assigning it to a single evolutionary line, and giving it one move that always does a set amount of damage, a funny oversight that only gets sort of fixed in the following generation. imagine a physically strong legendary dragon whose best sets still feature special moves for coverage because it doesn't get things like earthquake. iconic game design
I love you small table that I use as a night stand that I got for the pretty design and from the side of the rode and walked it home like 10 blocks but you can't see the pretty design because like all flat surfaces it became a dump ground for more than I planned it to have <3
