Yesss i have! You are lucky that my recent writing was in my notes haha, is a one shot and is funny and cute so Im gonna post it full😉 also sorry for any mistakes, i rushed with this one 'cause it was for the Jimari discord.

In which Chat, Ladybug and The Trollhunter are bored during patrol and Ladybug suggest they have a girls night.

(Also, just fyi i headcanon that LB and Chat call Jim T.H 'cause they feel like "Trollhunter" sounds too stiff and they cant know each other identities so)

Paris was unusually quiet tonight, but the three heroes choose to dont mind about it and just enjoy the cold breeze of the summer night while they could.

-Dont get me wrong, not doing patrol and just enjoying ourselves tonight is awesome and all - stated Chat as he turned around and looked at his friends- but can we like, do something just for fun tonight?

-You wanna play hide and seek again and chase each other through all Paris? -asked Ladybug as she was laying in her back and looked at her cat friend with an eyebrow raised.

-Hell no. That one isnt fair, you guys dont have a freaking metal armor that weighs a ton, and besides i cant jump from building to building, remember last time it happened?

The Trollhunter reminded his friends about that time in which he almost broke a leg and his two friends flinched at the memory.

Turns out both were wrong after all.

An hour an a half later the 3 heroes were sitting in a picnic blanket that Ladybug brought, laughing a lot as Ladybug put some face masks in them, hushed them and told them to stay still.

-Oh my god Chat stay still or Im going to end up putting avocado in your eyes.

-Im sorry is just... T.H looks so funny with cucumber slices in his eyes... - Chat started laughing his ass off as his friend started searching blindly for his blade, not being able to see anything thanks to the cucumber slices.

The Trollhunter tried to sound mad but in fact he had a huge smile in his face, even if he looked ridiculous right now, he loved spending time with his friends.

-Are we also gonna get our nails done?

Ladybug was in the middle of both, watching Chat and then T.H back and forth.

-Oh my god Im never doing girls night with you two again in my life. If i had known this was going to happen i would have searched for Mayura and ask her if i could make her an avocado face mask.

The two guys stopped laughing, looked at LB and then looked at each other. They broke in giggles and hysterical laugh again and this time Ladybug couldnt fake being mad any longer. She wasnt able to contain her laugh any longer and broke, joining them in the floor, all of them trying to catch their breath.

However their laughs were suddenly interrupted when screams started to be heard in the distance. The three heroes stopped, looked at each other. They knew what does screams meant.

-We have to go.

Ladybug took her yoyo as she stood up and started running to the border of the building.

-Wait! how do we get the avocado off our faces?

Ladybug looked at Chat and then at the Trollhunter, they looked worried so she gave them a reassuring smile. She was lucky their jokes didnt gave her time to put on an avocado mask herself.

-I didnt brought any cleaning towels with me, so it looks like you two will be beating some akuma ass looking fresh af after all.

She winked at the both dumbfounded heroes and then took off.

ok i made it home this morning. dont have to worry about being stranded in the wrong country or state anymore.

there was a lot of confusion over airlines and flights, and i slept on the floor overnight in jfk with the indoor birds flying over my head in the terminal with like 20 other people all a meter apart at minimum near some checkin desks (what is with new york airports and having birds just flying around in them? ewr was like this too from what i remember. id worry about them shitting indoors lmao). there were so many people coughing everywhere, if i didnt catch anything from that floor then i sure did elsewhere lol (assuming its not the dreaded virus then surely from that chick sniffling near me for 7h across our transatlantic flight).

(btw just a bit of general advice for people who follow me dont even try switching terminals in jfk without at least 2.5-3h transfer time minimum since you have to collect your bag post security and check in again and do security again in the new terminal. avoid jfk if you can its always an unpleasant experience it takes forever to get anywhere what with the long ass walks in the terminals themselves and the train ride between terminals)

so yeah, self quarantining now... they gave me a leaflet saying to check my temp every 12 hours, and i did some paperwork about where i had been and where i was sitting on the plane specifically and my symptoms (i have pics if anyones curious. you can do us customs in ireland in the special us part of the airport, i got the form there. that was a bit strange, doing customs before instead of after the flight). my temp when i got off the plane was 98.3 freedom units. so i was free to go... but if theres some shit incubating in my body i wouldnt be able to get it confirmed because apparently my home area has almost run out of tests and is now telling people who present symptoms (they want two minimum) and have traveled to a high risk area (which could be me in a few days) to just stay home anyways so they can prioritize tests for the 60+ crowd. which, fair, id only go to the hospital if i couldnt breathe i guess (not that id get confirmed right away anyways since i saw tests take five days at minimum to come back?), but holy shit the united states is handling this so, so terribly. like, just accept the damn tests the world health organization is giving out! accept them! accept the huge fucking piles of tests you motherfuckers! fuck you for letting people die (business as usual i guess for one of the only remaining dinosaur age countries with privatized healthcare i guess)! clearly they arent interested in tracing and stopping community spread that accurately. for shame. and the us citizenry is gonna throw a damn defiant hissy fit if they all get quarantined in their home and prevented from traveling a certain number of miles but i guess all the restaurant closings/limits on gatherings are kind of addressing things slowly... honestly, will they just make us all sit in our homes until it goes away, not even testing people to reflect the true numbers of those infected? i wish i lived in a country that actually did things correctly...

again, glad i got home from the uk before any kind of domestic travel ban gets imposed. im very tired, but im home. and i am going to fucking sleep.

#plus results dont come back for at least five days. i intend to self quarantine fully but i live with my family and shit. agh #i guess they would be eligible for tests too if shit hit fan... assuming there are tests while we are riding anything out these next 14 days #it really feels like im home. i truly missed all the uncertainty of daily existence! /s

December 17th I waited as the bombs fell But I didn’t leave

i made this blog after december 17th. before the announcement i used to open a bunch of tabs of posts i liked and then look at them again later and decide which ones i woud reblog. there would be a lot of them. after that i was in a flurry to sort through them all. september is when i learned tumblr has a limit on how many posts you can queue, and how many you can reblog in a day. i would fill a queue and set them to post something like 100 at a time over a number of minutes. it might have been annoying to anyone who followed me, but that was never relly a concern to me if im honest.

the social aspect of tumblr wasn’t the main draw for me. it was personal. iliked to have my little private gallery. but if someone else happened across it and reblogged from it then i could check out there blog and maybe find something new or interesting. i wasn’t looking to make friends or anything, but the communitty is what made tumblr. it was a human system of sharing content that made it easy to find cool stuff, and conect people with similar taste

i wasn’t super precious about my blogs. i did put some effort into them, but after a whilei didn’t worry too muc about if a post fit my theme entirelly . or if it was good enough. the feature i most enjoyed on tumblr was the archive view. moreso then each individual post i enjoyed being able to step back and see an new aestetic emerge from the totality of it. you could scroll up and down and see the mood change on a blog as i followed new people, or found new fleeting fixations. a single post might be flawed but have its own something that shun through. something that contributed to a larger experience. sometimes the thumbnail painted a picture that was only lessened with detail.

obviously all my frentic reblogging was a bit pointless if it was all gonna be nuked by the algorythm, so i found a few different means of backing up my blogs on to hard drives (the crappyest of which was the official tumblr one. not a singl one worked after multiple attempts). so now i had all my blogs, as well as some of my faves by other ppl, some formatting missing, a few corrupt or missing files, but i had them. But the archive view was missing…

so december 17 approached. people posted there twitters. people said their goobyes. it was a bit emotional if im honest. (this one from one of my faves got me https://jazzisthebestformofmusic.tumblr.com/post/180842185944/4309-file-backup-rar-containing-a-majority-of-the) so everyone got down in their bunkers and waited for the bombs to fall.

in the end, only the blogs i had marked as sensitive got hit. i was expecting a lot worse, as all my blogs are pretty horny tbh >__<;; but i had my blogs backed up now, and i had said my goodbyes. i drew a line under the whole tumblr thing. __________________________________________ then i made this blog. partly out of embarasment having said i would go partly because i had my blogs preserved now, and didn’t want to ammend them further. partly because i still felt a disire to collect images and build this weird achive view tapestry i enjoyed. and also i never found a replacement. i tried twitter, but besides not being the same i have to constantly wrestl with the algorhythm there and keep getting shadowbanned. besides, a lot of blogs i liked are still here. albeit with a little less spice and weirdness.slowily coming back as they came to similar conclusions.

so recently i went back to my backups i made, and spent a few hours fucking around with the html. i managed to make a rough approximation of the old archive view. its superior in some sense. i can edit it freely, and i now include all the images in a photoset, not just the first one. So I guess what i am gonna do is continue drawing lines every now and then, downloading my blog, on my terms where onlu i can decide what gets deleted. then ill make a new one

if you read this far, thank you for indulging me. like i said, this is my personal blog. but if i have a point its that tumblr, (and not just tumblr, any large platform), cant be trusted for foster an environment, and cant be trusted with your content . i dont have a solution to this, besides continuing to try and use tumblr on my weird temporary basis for content aggrigation and maintaining my own personal archive, but if a viable alternative crops up, someone let me know

if you are a blank blog/no pfp just a friendly reminder i Will reach out to let you know how this site works because im assuming youre new and dont understand the culture and letting yall know seems best but heres some main takeaways:

Tumblr is anonymous. please please please dont use your name as or in your url. its a really important aspect of this site to maintain that anonymity and most of the time its an easy way to identify porn bots- they use peoples names. if you have your name in your url its an easy way to get blocked.

your blog is your blog. you dont have to make a single ounce of content, but the point of it is to save the content you like for later, which is done through reblogging. reblogging makes a save that can only be deleted by you, even if the original poster deactivates or deletes it. this is a really cool feature! it means you’ll never lose stuff you like!

if you like to lurk, thats okay! tumblr likes dont actually do/mean anything though, and is not actually any sort of a real way to show the people making stuff that you like what theyre doing or support them. if you want there is a setting to make your blog private- it means people wont see anything but your username and your profile picture without a password

speaking of profile picture! if you do not have one people will think you are a bot. they will block you for being a bot. it doesnt matter what it is it could be the color gray just avoid using the tumblr default profile picture.

tags! tags are an easy way to add commentary or share anecdotes or ramble without interrupting the content of the post. people love these! they are widely supported, and usually can “pass peer review” as a way of saying that someone else thought what you said was funny/important enough to share in the main post, either by screenshot or copy pasting, and tagging the person who made them. usually, we do not/did not start the “prev tags” thing. it can have its uses, but nobody likes a hunt through prev tags. if its more that 2/3 people back, the culture here isnt to pissy about copy pasting, and if youre worried about credit, just add another tag with their name

🌟bonus round 🌟 tumblr is actively unmarketable and does not want our information to be sold or used. this means that you Should Not Use the algorithm, particularly, you should curate your dash and follow people. a large part of the point is chronological consumption, and that old posts recirculate indefinitely. take advantage of the benefits from the site, and understand that the nonsensical ads are because of the lack of information tumblr is collecting on us. they are protecting our privacy and our information. we want to make sure it continues that way. due to tumblr protections of us, and the way that it is following-based rather than algorithm-based, this also means you Do Not Need to censor anything. this includes heavy content, swear words, silly ridiculous threatening posts that are unhinged and unrealistic. censoring isn’t necessary here. like i said, take advantage of the benefits of being here. its good here.

Story: My mother is mentally ill and probably always has been. She panics and develops obsessive or fixed habits that can create a obstacle filles envireoment.

After our stay in the shitty hood apartments, we ended up moving to the sticks/backwoods in the south eastern texas country. This was all a response to my stalker father so it was secluded.

Well, for the first couple of weeks, we had problems with out very backwoods neighbors and the private trash removal company. My mother was under the impression we had a trash pickup for the neighbor hood but wouldn't reason when told that she cant leave the trash on the curb in hopes that it will just be removed. My (late) stepdad managed to piss off out hillbilly neighbors which resulted in them to road haul the trash can down the back woods street spreading garbage everywhere...

After we collected our garbage and retrieved our busted can, my mother had a meltdown. Instead of finding a trash company she had made us all stored the trash bags in this dilapidated rabbit cage until she decides what shes going to do.

Even with blunt negotiations and passive pleads from my stepdad, sister, me, and then texas native boyfriend (now husband) to allow us to burn the trash or haul. The trash remained. (My bf/husband was sneaking burnables out to rid them).

Eventually, it sat and built massive amounts of garbage stacked over my head. Everytime any of us motioned to it, my mother would freak out.

So, then we have a huge pile of trash festering in a cage.

Now, how does this translate to internal work?

Clearly, by skipping a few details we still were able to address several external stressers. Taking the behaviour and reaction into account, we are able to figure out the internal influences.

Working on yourself is viewing your behaviour, decisions, life events, and exterior/interior influences in a objective manner. This means, coldly analyzing it to understand yourself. Not to put yourself down but to understand the rhyme and reason behind all tht occured.

Subjectively, nothing makes sense. Everything happens too fast. Analyzing your behaviour while acting is a reactionary tactic that ultimately results in problems stacking... Like bags of trash.

Pretty soon, not taking the time to understand and analyze the forces in your life will create a strange attachment to emotional garbage because it have invariably turned to something pivotal or motivational even. Looking at that pile of trash one has collected gives a sense of purpose.

"I will clean it!!!" But only allowing it to build. "I will clean it!" But not letting anyone near that garbage to help. "I will clean it!!" The cage can no longer contain the vast amount of trash.

The external influences has forced the internalized perspective into collecting and focusing on the huge pile of trash. Knowing how every bag is made and it most certainly should be protected from being dragged and tossed down the road for everyone to see. Its to the point where noone can effectively and safely remove the trash by just hauling to a dump or burning it off.

The Trash is now a problem

Assess the problem, analyze the infleunces that created this pattern of behaviour, and now figure out a solution.

Dont accept the blame. There is no blame to be had. Between the massive amounts of negative activity impacting your life outside, your already fragile insides swirled and hooked onto something repetitive, soothing, but feeds into an anxious pattern. Dont accept the blame but take responsibility for your actions and reactions.

Punishing yourself and fretting over the consequence of trash collecting creates hesitation. The trash is toxic. Its leaking every where. Every one can smell it. They want to help remove the trash and are trying to figure out why someone is attached to it.

Beating yourself up and blaming yourself for the trash feeds into that reactionary and fixating behavior. Take a step back and ask the party and yourself what the best solution to fixing this pile of trash.

Putting a tarp over it only hide its visual. Reinforcing the cage prevents the trash from getting out. Fires cover the smell and removes what's easily burnable. But not everything can burn away.

Its a good start but we all need to let go of that garbage.

Sometimes the pile of trash is so big that you need to call some one to come and get it. (Its what ended up happening). Once we estabilshed a solution and once we we able to address the reason for piling garabage, we were able to remove the garbage.

In the story, it was hiring a company to come and take the trash then signing up for a private trash company to come and get it once a week.

Metaphorically this translates to asking a professional whose job is to help people address the reason for ammounting a pile of trash.

Everyone has trash. We all have our reasons for getting emotionally attached to it. Whether its out of fear that some will drag it out in the open, worried what life would be like without it, so on.

Though external interference is required to help address larger piles of trash, one must understand the reason for collecting the trash in the first place.

Self reflection and analysation helps acknowledge the influences and reasons for behaviour. "Why am i collecting garbage and why cant i let it go?"

Having hugely impactful events or chronic problems pushing on you externally can effect one internally. It will exasperate any mental illness or fixation that some one already has. Sometimes it makes sense, most times it only makes sense when doing the behaviour. In any regard, it requires internal retrospection to both understand the problem and coming up with a solution.

Mental illness will tell you to collect trash, make you hate yourself for collecting trash, make you hold onto trash, then punish you for having trash. Mental illness will do everything within its power to continue with that pattern of behaviour.

Mental illness isn't your fault no matter how many times it tries to convince you that it is. Seek a solution, not a punishment. Address the results and work on cleaning it up. Punishing yourself only feeds into the cycle of behaviour of fixating on that metaphorical trash.

Ive been experiencing this personally. I am sharing the story i had connected my internal conflict to. I am working on addressing my subjective dallying and mental dancing to avoid staring at my giant pile of stinky, leaky trash.

My solution: Peel back the layers one by one and surely remove the emotional garbage i have been holding onto.

No blame. No hate. Just lots of screaming and crying about the garbage i have so nonsensically grown attached to. I should probably seek a professional to help but as it currently stands, i have walled myself in a trash cage.

Im unable to get through and analyze the resources available let alone fathom the heap that has built up around me.

The first step i took was knowing that i was in trash. I am Not trash. Then removing my attachment to my trash by looking at what influenced me to start collecting in the first place. Was it internal? External? Both?

I am on the brink of convincing myself that i dont need the trash.

A very long and painful process. I still have a ways to go.

In conclusion, this is internal work. You reflect on yourself and accept shortcomings without casting blame. Once that is established you can begin working on a solution to address the problems as a result of things that were outside control.

In all of the "basic" spirit work i have practiced, this is the most difficult and longest process of attaining personal balance.

I hate it. It forces me to confront my fixations and behaviours. It causes conflict with my well rooted mental illness and makes me acknowledge the external traumas that brought me to this point.

Despite the pain, in my opinion, this sort of internal work is extraordinarily important. Whether youre part of or outside of the spiritual and faith community.

If you are a faith filled person that employs spirit works, this will be a continual hitch in working with some of the more alien entities. Some will try to drag it out of you and if you aren't fully aware or within the understanding of yourself then your problems will be road hauled for you to plainly see. This will cause more issues and result in further patterned behaviour. You will lose control within this practice if you dont address your own spirit first.

If you're not really a spiritual person, you will continuously transfer the pattern of behaviour in unrelated or all aspects of your life. This makes navigating the rest of your world more difficult as a result.

Chapter 20

Sirius, as matter of habit, rose with the sun. He was already, to some extent, aware that Marlene did not. She would have to be woken by a lady’s maid in order to be on time for breakfast. But on that first day of their secret marriage, Sirius stayed in bed with the sleeping princess and just took in the sight of her. She’d cast off her shift entirely nearly as soon as her inner chamber door was shut behind them and hadn’t found instance in the interim to reclothe herself.

Though he’d certainly seen representation of the nude female form in paintings and sculptures, but this was a new experience. He had not expected that his life would include an extremely undressed heartbreakingly beautiful woman lying sleeping next to him. The the new day’s light peeked through the bed curtain, reflecting off her hair like a halo. He silently thanked the lord that his new wife slept deeply and well into the morning. The look on his face was probably worthy of all the ribbing he would take from the king and then some. But he couldn’t help it. He’d always contended that a princess like this should not, by all logic, have been a real person. He had only become more sure of this as he fell in love with the woman. He pulled her into his arms and kissed the top of her sleeping head.

She stirred. Little sounds escaped from her perfect mouth but none of them came together into anything that Sirius understood as language.

“Good Morrow, My Princess.”

Though he’d intended to remind her that they were meant to tell the king and queen about their marriage and beg their blessings, he forgot all about it as Marlene’s mouth found his.

The couple were not in attendance at breakfast that morning.

After a truly mortifying experience involving the Lady’s maid, Emmeline, Sirius was quite glad to be clothed and above suspicion that afternoon.

Eventually the opportunity presented itself for himself and Marlene to speak privately with the King and Queen.

After they’d made a show of propriety for lookers on, and were well out of earshot, Marlene took no prisoners in the endeavor.

“We’ve entered into a precontracted marriage. I assumed you’d be pleased with the match. It was rather late into the evening when the discussion came to pass, you see. Waiting until morning to beg your permission seemed both unnecessary and vexsom.” She was fearless in such a way that set Sirius’s pulse racing. The walls he’d carefully constructed around parts of his mind had come crashing down all at once and only hours ago. He was still adjusting to the fact he didn’t just love her; he was allowed to desire her. The whole thing was very distracting, to say the least.

James’s face was truly a sight as he took in the statement his cousin had matter of factly dolled out. He cycled through confusion to shock, onto mild disgust and finally to amusement. Sirius could have predicted the exact responses, but they were quite a lot of fun to watch, regardless.

“You broke through my knight’s chastity belt? I thought he had it soldered on.”

“Marriage tends to be the key to such things.” Marlene smirked at the King and then winked at the Queen who chuckled.

Sirius still had not said said anything up to that point. He’d expected that the king would make some sort of crack about the concept of chastity. He’d been a little too loud in his defense of the virtue being ideal in a knight for this to have gone any other way. It did not stop his face from heating up with embarrassment. Why did this have to be discussed? Couldn’t they just… talk of war or something? Surely they had enough battles to plan that this was all very silly?

He chided himself that he’d rather plan the demise of his own family, where good men would surely die, than tolerate a little embarrassment. Marlene, surely did not seem embarrassed in the least. She seemed quite pleased with herself.

Sirius no longer wanted to think about war, all he could think of was how very difficult this secret would be to keep. It was a battle unto itself to refrain from touching her.

“Am I to understand your mild insults as your blessings upon our union?” Sirius smirked, tearing his eyes away from his wife to meet his dearest friend and sovereign eye to eye.

“Yes many blessings and all that. But it’s not going to be popular with… nearly anyone… so I hope you have some sort of plan.” James turned to Marlene with a pained expression.

“I always have a plan, cousin.” Marlene rolled her eyes with a huff and Sirius restrained from kissing her as her eyes flashed dangerously. “You knew my mother. I’m ashamed you had any doubt.”

“I had no plan. Largely, I just do what her Grace tells me.” Sirius admitted, chuckling as Marlene regained her temper.

“Well that sounds like the start of a long and happy marriage to me. What’s the plan, your Grace?” Queen Lily’s warm smile reassured Sirius that he hadn’t stepped on any royal toes in making this rather hasty decision.

“It’s best if we keep our union a secret from the court until my husband returns to me a Duke.” Marlene moved to take Sirius’ arm and smiled at her own jest. She was making it very hard not to kiss her, and by the look on her face she knew it.

“Your instincts are good, cousin. I hope that you’ll advise me someday when the Chief Minister has decided she’s had quite enough. Though I am concerned that there will be rather glaring evidence of your marriage before we are able to take Semprapuria, at least with the current plan in place.” James looked pointedly at Marlene.

Sirius didn’t quite understand. Everyone was already meant to think that they were in love. What evidence could be so glaring that the whole court would become suspicious that the affair was more than courtly in nature? Before he put it together in his head, Marlene's voice chimed in.

“Worry about the fruitfulness of your own marriage cousin. Leave me to mine. I have contingencies worked out, in any case.”

James rolled his eyes, “Of course you do.”

Sirius could have kicked himself. He’d been rather preoccupied and had somehow failed to consider the fact that Marlene could be with child.

“Your Majesties,” Sirius heard the stilted formal tone to his own voice and nearly cringed. “Do we have your leave to go to Father Hagrid? I’d prefer we get this in the church records so there will be no questions as to the honor of the Princess.”

“My husband and I are of one mind. Is Father Hagrid a trustworthy holy man?”

“He’s been my confessor since I was 15. I trust him with my life” James answered without hesitation.

“Very well then. There’s no time like now.” Marlene looked up and nodded.

Sirius was very happy, in this instance, to follow the Princess’s lead.

Sirius pulled his boots off as he sat down on Marlene's - their - bed, and sighed contentedly.

“I’m so glad that everyone protested my idea to marry you off just after you arrived.”

Sometimes words just happened to Sirius. This was clearly one of those times. Though his statement was entirely true the look on Marlene’s beautiful face as she reacted was proof that they’d been completely inadvisable.

“You… what? You wanted to marry me off? This was never brought to my attention! Explain yourself, Sir!” Her attempt to look very angry was admirable. But there was still a hint of laughter in her eyes as she chided him, and standing there in her underskirt completely undermined her faux chagrin.

“Don’t look at me like that!” Sirius smiled and stood to walk up to her. “It wasn’t some wicked plot and it was to my own brother!”

“Well believe it or not that does not make it sound any better from my perspective.” Marlene's face became wide with shock. “In fact it makes it a sight more nauseating.”

“Oh come on, Marly…” He wrapped an arm around her waist and slid the other hand along her cheek. “All I knew about you was that you were the strangest lady I’d ever met and you considered me the most handsome gentleman at court.” He smirked down at her. “It seemed like a kindness to marry you to a man who bares a strong resemblance. I wasn’t aware that you’d only have the genuine article.”

“You are quite lucky Sir,” Marlene snaked her arms around his neck and Sirius knew he was in the clear, “that you are so very handsome. I don’t generally think I’d be over fond of the touch of a man who wanted to have me as his sister in law.” She rolled her vivid blue eyes. Her bitten lips curled themselves just so, into a most captivating smile. Sirius pulled her closer. The look in her eyes was fast becoming addictive. He lifted her shift from the bottom to tease soft caresses up the outside of her thigh.

“Well it does appear that I am lucky then. Because you seem more than a little fond of my touch.”

She only nodded and took in a sharp breath. Her eyes were so full of want as he brought his lips to hers. When she practically melted into his kiss, he knew that he was more than lucky.

They couldn’t have been asleep for long when a messenger burst into the Princess’s chambers. This was highly irregular. Therefore Sirius had to assume someone was there to harm Marlene and prepare to defend her with his own life… while completely naked. He’d always thought he’d die with a sword in his hand, but he’d not pictured it quite like this. Life had taken a turn for the strange when Princess Marlene came to live at court.

“I am not here to do anyone harm! I’m just a messenger!” The man cowered as Sirius pinned him against the wall, sword at his throat. “Lady McGonagall sent me to collect Sir Sirius! She says it’s… about your family? That’s all I know. I promise. Please lower your sword and… put on some clothing?” He said the last of his plea in a hushed voice.

“If you even think about saying anything about this you will regret it for the rest of your life, do you understand?” Marlene interjected in a disconcertingly threatening voice for a woman who had been screaming bloody murder not a moment ago. Though she was still standing naked as the day of her birth, she held herself with such authority that she might have been wearing her cousin's own crown.

There was no time to think. Sirius’s head was spinning as he quickly dressed and, since there was no going back from this in any case kissed his wife goodbye as he followed the messenger. He was sure whatever news awaited him was grim.

Thats the warning President Trump sent from his New Jersey golf course Saturday as he announced a package of coronavirus relief that turns out to be more of a cynical and cruel campaign stunt.

Heres why its cynical:

Democrats and even some Republicans are questioning the legality of his new executive orders, which depend in large measure on the voluntary cooperation of employers and cash-strapped state legislatures.

The cut in payroll taxes that finance Social Security and Medicare is actually a deferment that workers or their employers would have to cough up next year. But Trump vowed to make the cut permanent.

The temporary $400 in weekly supplemental unemployment benefits turns out to be only $300. States would be challenged to kick in another $100, but most legislatures are cash-strapped and forbidden by constitutions or laws to run deficits like the federal government can. They cant print money either. Trump would filch the $300 of federal money from funds budgeted for natural disasters in hurricane season no less and that is certain to be challenged in court.;

The order to resume a moratorium on evictions is nothing more than an instruction to government agencies to consider whether it needs to be done and to look for money in their existing budgets to help terrified renters.

Hes raising false hopes for everyone else. Thats what makes it cruel.

Trumps Plan To Defund Social Security

On August 8, at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, President Donald Trump announced that his administration is seeking to delay much of the payroll tax that funds Social Security1 of 4 unilateral actions he took in lieu of negotiating with Congress on meaningful economic relief legislation. The president also said that if he is reelected, he wants not only to turn the delay into a tax cut that would result in significant revenue losses for Social Security, but also to eliminate employee payroll taxes for good. As our analysis based on the Social Security trustees projections shows, eliminating employee payroll taxes along the lines that the president has proposed would, absent additional action, completely exhaust the Social Security trust fund by 2026 or earlier and result in steep benefit cuts.

Trump has made clear that he wants the tax that is delayed this fall under his unilateral action to be permanently forgiven, which would result in a permanent revenue loss of about $100 billion for Social Security. At the Bedminster press conference, President Trump also stated, If Im victorious on November 3rd, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax. Trump doubled down on these comments on Monday, August 10, reiterating, After the election, on the assumption that it will be victorious for an administration thats done a great job, we will be ending that tax, well be terminating that tax.

Social Security Is Facing A Nearly $17 Trillion Funding Gap

If Biden wins in November, he’ll have a host of issues to immediately tackle, including the ongoing response to the coronavirus pandemic, job creation, and growing the U.S. economy. But don’t overlook perhaps the biggest long-term challenge facing the president: Social Security’s widening cash shortfall.

Every year, the Social Security Board of Trustees releases a report that examines the short-term and long-term outlook for the program. In each of the past 35 years, the Trustees have cautioned that long-term revenue collection won’t be sufficient to cover outlays. This is a fancy way of saying that the existing payout schedule, inclusive of cost-of-living adjustments , isn’t sustainable. Social Security is facing an estimated $16.8 trillion funding shortfall between 2035 — when the Trustees anticipate the program will exhaust its $2.9 trillion in asset reserves — and 2094. Benefit cuts of up to 24% may await retired workers as a result.

Something needs to be done soon to shore up Social Security; otherwise, our nation’s retired workforce could be in big financial trouble in less than 15 years.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is running campaign ads that claim President Trump signed an executive action directing funding cuts for Social Security and proposed slashing hundreds of billions of dollars from the Social Security Trust Fund every year.;

The problem is, however, that this just isnt so.

A Biden campaign TV ad falsely claims that a government analysis of President Donald Trumps planned cuts to Social Security shows that if Trump gets his way, Social Security benefits will run out in just three years from now, says FactCheck.org.;

The cliche politics aint beanbag exists for a reason: Campaigns use overhyped rhetoric to distort their opponents positions and make them appear less electable. Seniors should rest easy and understand that their Social Security benefits arent going anywhere.

But this dynamic of misleading charges belies a more fundamental problem: Something will eventually need to be done to buttress Social Securitys finances. Episodes like this dont bode well for future attempts to reform Social Security.

President Trumps Record On Social Security

In 2016, the president distinguished himself from other Republicans by promising to leave Social Security alone. Over the past four years, hes pretty much done just that.

There have been no Bush-like privatization plans from the Trump administration, no Simpson/Bowles-inspired murmings over cutting benefits or raising the full retirement age. Theres been no real plan to do much of anything. The Biden campaign ad is as close as theres been to a controversy, and even that misrepresents the presidents aims.

Should Trump win in November you can expect more of the same.;

I haven’t seen anything discussed on Social Security reform, Andrew Biggs, a research fellow at the conservative-leaning think tank AEI told Forbes Advisor. The president has argued against any Social Security benefit cuts but hasn’t waded into how Social Security’s long-term funding should be secured.

While this should assuage any fears about changes to the Social Security status quo and soothe soon-to-be retirees worried about cuts to their monthly checks, its less than ideal that the Trump administration has no plans to shore up Social Securitys long-term finances.;

Fourth and finally, Biden has suggested that the inflationary tether for Social Security be changed from the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers to the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly .

The CPI-W has been the program’s inflationary measure since 1975, and while it’s resulted in a positive COLA in 42 of the past 45 years, the purchasing power of Social Security dollars has been slashed by 30% since 2000. That’s because the CPI-W doesn’t do a very good job of accurately measuring the costs that seniors are contending with. Even though more than 80% of Social Security beneficiaries are seniors, the CPI-W tracks the spending habits of urban and clerical workers, who often aren’t seniors or receiving Social Security benefits.

Under Biden’s plan, the CPI-E would become the new inflationary tether. The CPI-E specifically tracks the spending habits of households with persons aged 62 and up. In theory, this should result in a more accurate COLA each year.

They Aim To Fix Social Security Through Long

Finally, Republicans do want to fix Social Security, but they are at the opposite side of the spectrum from Democrats on how to do that. Whereas Democrats prefer raising revenue to make up for an expected $13.2 trillion cash shortfall between 2034 and 2092, Republicans want to reduce the program’s long-term expenditures.

How, you ask? As noted, they’d implement the Chained CPI, which would result in lower annual COLAs, and thereby reduce the amount of expenditures heading to beneficiaries over the long run.

Republicans are also big proponents of raising the full retirement age, or the age at which you become eligible for your full retirement benefit. Currently, set to peak at age 67 for those born in 2022 or later, Republicans would like to see this gradually increased to as high as age 70. This would require retired workers to either wait longer to receive their full payout, or to accept a steeper monthly reduction if claiming early. Either way, it reduces the lifetime benefits paid out by Social Security, and thereby saves the program money.

Some Republicans, including Donald Trump, have called for a form of means-testing, which would reduce or eliminate Social Security benefit payments for those folks or couples who are wealthy.

The first piece of evidence undercutting the tweets message is actually linked in the tweet itself.

An accompanying Senate Democratic press release, dated March 27, starts by saying, “Its only been a few months since Republicans jammed through their massive giveaway to corporate executives and wealthy shareholders. Now theyre planning on paying for it with huge cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, despite President Trumps promises that he wouldnt do so.”

These quotes suggest the Republican in charge of the House continues to seek overhauls of the entitlement system.

The cuts can be avoided, budget experts say, only with 60 Senate votes leaving Democrats back where they started, because it’s unclear whether Republicans would vote to prevent the cuts after having opposed a partisan relief package.

“It’s Medicare. It’s farm subsidies,” said Marc Goldwein, a budget expert at the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. “It’s a bunch of programs that would be cut.”

The size of the reductions in Medicare and other social safety net program would depend on the size of the package, but they’d be significant even if the price tag fell under $1 trillion. Social Security and low-income programs would be exempt.

“The cuts would be huge,” said Paul Van de Water, a senior fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a liberal think tank. “It’s a critical issue, which, at some point, is going to have to be dealt with.”

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who will shepherd the reconciliation process and has been a supporter of expanding safety net programs, will work to prevent the cuts, said his spokesman, Keane Bhatt.

Bhatt pointed to the last time budget reconciliation was used to make a big change when Republicans passed a costly tax cut on a partisan vote, which triggered $25 billion in Medicare cuts. But Democrats joined Republicans to prevent the cuts from taking effect in a government funding measure that was passed subsequently.

Republican politicians want to cut Social Security. They never say so out loud, but their 2016 platform reveals the truth. In the section labeled, Saving Social Security, it proclaims, As Republicans, we oppose tax increases Since Social Security cannot deficit spend and is projecting a shortfall in 2035 if Congress doesnt act, that only leaves benefit cuts.

Representative John Larson , the Chairman of the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Social Security, is trying to force his Republican colleagues into the open. Larson is the sponsor of the Social Security 2100 Act, which increases Social Securitys modest benefits. Additionally, it raises enough revenue to ensure that all benefits can be paid in full and on time through the year 2100 and beyond. Ninety percent of the Democrats in the House of Representatives are co-sponsors, but not a single Republican. Given their refusal to back his bill, Rep. Larson has urged Republicans to offer an alternative proposal to no avail.

Non-action is not an option, unless your goal is to cut Social Security. The most recent Social Security Trustees’ Report projects that with no action, benefits will be automatically reduced by 20 percent in 2035. As Chairman Larson has plainly stated, The hard truth of the matter is that Republicans want to cut Social Security, and doing nothing achieves their goal.

On Sunday, as he boarded Marine One, Trump told reporters that the executive order deferring;payroll taxes for some Americans;will “have zero impact on Social Security.”;

“We protect Social Security,” he added, according to Fox News.

An official from the;White House told USA TODAY on Tuesday that the Social Security Trust Fund is not at risk, since payment deferral is only temporary, and at present, must be paid back early in 2021. The official confirmed, though, that the president;called;on;Congress to make the;deferral permanent,;thereby eliminating the tax.

Garrett Watson, a senior policy analyst at the Tax Foundation, an independent tax policy think tank, told USA TODAY that eliminating the tax is not the same as eliminating Social Security.

“Strictly speaking, Social Security could be funded using general fund revenue or alternative revenue source, so terminating a tax and terminating a program are distinct things,” he;wrote in an email.

On Wednesday, Trump suggested an alternate source for the first time the general fund of government revenues ;per Fox Business.

In a meeting with House conservatives, Rep. Paul Ryan , told rank-and-file lawmakers that, as the partys chief budget negotiator, he would push instead for long-term reforms to entitlement programs in exchange for changes to sequestration spending cuts that Democrats are expected to demand.

Rep. Matt Salmon said that during the GOP meeting, Ryan pointed to sequestration as the partys leverage with Democrats and said the Republican negotiators would not accept revenue increases in exchange.

Were going to try to push for some substantial reforms on entitlement spending and our backstop is sequestration, Salmon said in describing Ryans remarks.

Most Americans dont read The Hill. And most Americans dont know that long-term reforms to entitlement spending specifically means cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

WASHINGTON Democrats considering a maneuver to forgo bipartisan support to pass Covid-19 relief are confronting an unintended consequence: Doing so could automatically cut Medicare.

Many Democrats want to pass President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief proposal, which includes $1,400 stimulus checks and aid to local governments. A group of Republican senators is pushing for a smaller plan that would provide $1,000 checks.

Another misconception is that the Republican Party stole money from the Social Security Trust and used it to fund wars. More specifically, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush have come under intense scrutiny for borrowing from Social Security and “not putting the money back.”

However, the truth of the matter is that Congress has been able to “borrow” Social Security’s excess cash for five decades, and it’s happened under every single president over that stretch. In fact, the Social Security Administration is required by law to purchase special-issue bonds and certificates of indebtedness with this excess cash. Please note the emphasis on “required by law” that I’ve added above. The federal government isn’t simply going to sit on this excess cash it borrows from Social Security. It’s spending this cash on various line items, which may be wars and the defense budget, as well as education, healthcare, and pretty much any other expenditure you can think of.

This setup is actually a win-win for both parties. The federal government has a relatively liquid source of borrowing with the Social Security Trust, and the Trust is able to generate significant annual income from the interest it earns on its loans. Last year, $85.1 billion of the $996.6 billion that was generated by the program came from interest income.

I am posting this here...just to get it out... not sure if I will show anyone especially Nikki cause I dont want her to think I am influencing things with her too..I just want her to see what I can do with my life and making things for the better... I know you said you thought I started grasping when you started talking to Katie..wasnt the thought...I kept all year...but Branson put me in a good frame of mind... hence why I was more like before..

I know I havent helped out like I should have and know how to...depression and the struggle just kept beating at me...especially when I was actively looking and going out trying to work... only to be knocked down where life kept saying “hold my drink” I hate my fears... I have tried to face different ones to be told they are staying...like with you...to a point..I fought to stay with Shannon...even when I wasnt happy...because also how I was raised...but that...along with my mom passing brought out the depression bad...then Tessa came in my life...and we got together...she helped me get stuff to file for divorce...was my best friend... and got engaged...things seemed good then bam she left...with not even a clue or sign...for the guy she is with now..and I was at the top of my game before she left...and hit hard low..... then family came in to help...my sister and her kids...then we know what happened with that...again when I move out then bam...no replies to messages..etc...then more alone..at this time shannon and her family helped (being nicer now than when I was a part of it)... I stayed alone...some with hope of Tessa or others..but most of the time...because of my fear...then I started talking to Samantha...I met her in a FB group...I went into this different but went in strong some...we had the 2 dates...I started getting close to her daughter on the second one... then bam....was told I reminded her of her father (keep in mind...we were close in age some)...only to see she got with someone that looked alot older..cause I was a gentleman...how I was raised...so her ...along with Tessa...made me feel like I shouldnt be myself either...some people like Nick...Karen...Ruby always tried to make me be myself more or feel better being myself...so I worked hard on being myself..starting to collect again (which the storage incident made me fear that...but trying to be myself and be happy)...I was building my life...etc... got on my feet more...got the car, etc...but at the risk of my mental and physical health...because a friend that I owed alot to...used me and abused me..at least mentally... then Stephanie happened...met her at the bar..etc..at first she was shy and everything..but had a wild side I soon found out...but private as well...didnt want me to post stuff on FB, etc..or change status...etc... her excuse was to make sure a person who had feelings for her didnt get hurt but kept making me feel ok...but bad about when I had issues not finishing..etc..she left for a week cause she needed time away...according to her..stress from work..etc...she kept in touch..etc...and kinda hinted that the girl there she would play with maybe...while we did the stuff before...only with agreements..etc...I trusted her...but decided to snoop...and found out she was doing more than that...etc..and I felt betrayed but at the same time being made to feel bad..like going on the cruise with friends.. I was done trying...and wasnt looking THEN...I found you... we had a mutual friend (or 20)...alot of common interests...etc... a heart of gold...beautiful smile...a strong ass sex drive...a family ... but it scared me..as you had everything I wanted...but I was scared like what are you going to do to leave me...I snooped as did you...and I never found anything wrong...you stood by me when I was at my lowest...and it made me scared...I got close to your kids...and it made me scared... one of the reasons (and the only reason) I kept saying “if anything happens to us”... because I expected it (tho stopped after awhile)...when you was pushing away (which I dont blame you)... I got more scared... when I went out and tried to work or look for others...and failed at that then.. It made me more scared... when I couldnt perform I was afraid...when I lost interest in anything sexual..it fucked things up.... plus the other side of that is i never wanted you to think I was using you for sex...or other things.... I sat up at times wondering when the shoe was going to drop...because you were so good..but yet pushing me away... when you went to the Lake of the Ozarks... I wasnt stressed about it...but wondered and worried if it was going to be another situation...it wasnt that I didnt trust you...I expected it..I felt the resentment...but never realized it...Branson was when I was relaxed and happy...was on a family vacation...felt better...and was actively trying more...it had nothing to do with Katie...cause I was realizing you were not going to do what I kept expecting...but then it almost was too late.. which also I felt nervous that saturday...again...for the same reasons...when I saw you coming home I felt a little better... I hate some of my faults...such as my motivation (a lot of my past from exes, family...and work...was designed to kill that in me)... my health issues... wanting to do things on my own without meds (for the reason of wanting to feel stronger and accomplish something)..and just the fears...all of that beat me up so much that it affected us...myself...you... I do always want to do better..and be better..but alot of that gets kicked when around...I wish you could have seen me before...when I was growing up...and the few years before we met how I worked...or how happy I was... since I have met you...your kids...our kid... I have been happy and afraid to accept it..and I know I gotta work on me to learn to accept it...its not just for us...its for me...as I need alot of work... I just know it is better with you by my side.. Trust be told and i have said this many time...I think you are the sweetest, prettiest woman to give me a chance..I didnt go in expecting to find anyone or love...and I did...I remember alot of how we talked...when we met...etc (just not the dates but thats part of my memory issue)...and I can remember where pics are from...or what was going on then...etc...I finally am also getting this out without tears....and staying strong...which is a good start too...cause Im trying to stay positive...and be better Nicole Lee Link...I love you...from the bottom of my heart...and always will...even when my dingaling has issues...my heart...never did...and i hope I can fix myself... and win you back over...and have you see you thru my eyes..etc..

Return of The Thing

Sort of. By thing, I mean me. But I love this movie and the meme. Ok, context for this post: - Where I’ve been - Why I left - Whats hip happening - Where I’ve Been:

Long story short, I’ve had real life matters to deal with. Firstly, my entire household contracted COVID. Well, *almost*. We’ve been through constant testing, quarantine zones, and had the ambulance up numerous times. My parents and 2nd oldest sister were hit the hardest. My 3rd oldest sister was positive and asymptomatic. Now something none of us could predict that I would be completely COVID free despite my compromises. Despite that I was in close contact with them all, including the 2nd oldest who contracted it first and accidentally being coughed on a few times lol. I went through the exact same testing and yet nothing. No symptoms. No presence of COVID. And I took no precaution to isolate from my family as I presumed in our small house we’d all get it, so I was more preoccupied with caring for the sick. Ultimately, I’ve either gotten off scott free this time or there’s a chance I may actually either be highly resistant or even immune. Even then, I WILL be having the vaccine as and when my family are eligible. And we all still follow regulations set. I’ve also had other real life obligations, much of it either mundane fixing up my living circumstances to more personal matters. Overall, I have been extremely preoccupied.

A mini update, the stray cat Big has been in our porch a lot more in recent times due to the snow as well as being even more affectionate. And Queefster passed away after a good life and a full tummy. Why I Left:

Aside from COVID, business, and my own health declining, I’ll be blunt. I left because of how disgustingly toxic most fandoms are nowadays, but Hazbin is one of the WORST for it. That includes harassment, death threats, mocking MI and triggering an ED. In fact, I’ve even seen others get rape and death threats. So yes, even if YOU are a decent fan, collectively most of you arent doing any favours. Even some critical blogs seem to be overtly catty in ways no one else seems to pick up on under this ‘look how blunt I am’ look and it’s just... You dont have to be a prick to have your say, to be honest and to disagree with the trending. That’s a few on and off of tumblr, and no one I follow anyways.

In regards to my ‘sensitivities’ - two things: 1) Of course trauma is going to hurt, 2) Im fully aware of kids doing and receiving much of this, which hurts MORE. I have my own lil squids and Im worried of them eventually having to deal with this shit. And no, no one SHOULD have to put up with such rude and poor behaviour. Agree to disagree doesnt live in some people’s realities, but by God harassment and bullying seems ok if YOURE doing it or enticing it. That ISNT ok. Even if it seems like nothing to you it could kill another. I certainly will not take your shit.

On huskerdust I STAND by my words. It’s fucking creepy and there is sexual harassment and obsession. And there are large triggers. I will not go into detail here because Ive done that dance before and I’ll be refining it again. YOU may like it, however it triggers my very real traumas as well as those in my bloodline. Be respectful and keep that shit away from me. And for goodness sake, parents PLEASE dont raise your children to behave as such online. And no, being anon isnt actually fully anonymous. Also to send hate and threats anon is not only traceable but also cowardice. Grow a pair and find a hobby. I avoid my traumas for the most part. I will not allow you to weaponise or diminish my own or others experiences for your fictional based gratification. Likewise, if it becomes canon, I’ll just make an AU where it is not. Simple. You can hate it but Im not your personal circus so go be toxic elsewhere. IF you like HD and follow me, honestly... Also I never used to hate angel but now... Fans behaviour is abhorrent and hes so over saturated that I honestly really dislike him now. Doesnt mean you have to hate him too, but just bloody respect that angel isnt loved by all, he can be triggering to some as well as toxically enabling [incl. past addicts], a vile homophobic gay stereotype and just overall a lack of knowledge and respect of sex workers as a whole. When you know a lot of the ins and outs and victims, it’s hard to overlook. I respect your triggering ships by avoiding that mess. Respect others. The problem with Viv - and I will elaborate in the future - is that your audience is often a reflection of your work and it’s message/presentation. And most of the fandom Ive met are awful. Honestly, though lonesome I find more comfort keeping distant from fandoms because yall often extremely toxic and petty. It’s just draggin me down and making me ill. I also want to showcase more of MY work (from redesigns to projects to some dumb 2am shit), cosplays, fashion, hobbies, spiritual practises - MY. SHIT. I feel like Ive strayed slightly. But I WILL be honest. And damn well will it upset people. And if it does and I’m genuinely ding something wrong/harmful - guide me patiently. Educate me. If it’s like this HD shit where Im not only allowed my opinions but justified on my traumas or mocking my disabilities or features, then just yeet yourself elsewhere. Also some of my gaming shit too. Getting to know folk who interact with my stuff and just... Create my space. For me. Something hopefully others can enjoy. Something that can function as a bit of an art portfolio as well. Critiques and whatnot. But I will continually not stand for anyone’s shit or poor handling of serious matters. You will not cause me to doubt and invalidate my experiences like you have to others. For now, Im tottering but slowly returning. For those who I previously and daily interacted with, I will get back to you. And Im sure you’re patient and understanding of my situation - it’s appreciated. But in terms of any fandom, more so if it’s known to be as hostile, I’d rather keep a healthy boundary between us. That’s for newer folk. Perhaps we may bond further and you’re welcome to try, however I do feel far safer not getting involved into other people’s shit any longer. I will put anon back on but any toxic shit will be reported as well as compiled so at least I have a reference on the actual toxic nature of fandoms. Likewise, Im slowly getting there but god theres a lot of fuckin work. So much that not even my closest friend has heard too much from me until recently. I’ll be returning to the grind for now as I have duties, as well as many demanding felines for my attention. Alongside some physical medical concerns which require additional care, I’ll be popping off now. Im thankful for those who have checked in on me. I will reply shortly. Take care
