im still amazed how wrestling fans have just lived with edge & christian's story for decades and not gone insane like they literally met as children, bonded over wrestling, became best friends and then became pro wrestlers together. that's an absurd fanfic setup and it's real?? if my otp had this backstory i would never shut up about it for a day in my fuckin life
🧦 you should check out this edge and christian old 2000s fansite catalog google document i made that’s filled with fun facts, tasty photos and maybe an appearance from cm punk… it’s also stuck in a perpetual state of “work in progress”, check back randomly for updates‼️
🧦 you should also check out this 6+ hour grunge playlist i made on spotty✨

wada sez: As the first Transformers movie introduced Sam in high school, and Revenge of the Fallen followed him to university, this strip seems to take the natural next step of showing him working a job as a young adult—something which Dark of the Moon would go on to similarly explore. However, as Flaherty revealed on Seibertron, he wrote it before Revenge of the Fallen even came out: “I wrote this Mosaic over three years ago and it was intended to follow the events of the first live action movie. If it was unclear, the idea is that despite driving an awesome car that transforms into an alien robot, you still might have to have a crappy job. Thanks to my artistic collaborators who, I think, did great work.” The pizza company he works for, “Haas Bros. Pizza”, is naturally named for Hasbro. See below for the original script for this comic, as shared to Flaherty’s deviantART.
Panel 1. A close-up of Sam Witwicky.
SAM:
Bumblebee --
Panel 2. Bumblebee transforms into vehicle mode.
SAM (OP):
-- let's roll.
Panel 3. A close-up of Bumblebee's tire. It spins and smokes as he begins to peel out.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 4. Bumblebee speeds down a street. We see him from a dramatic angle. He looks super-cool and is going super-fast. His roof is just out of frame.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 5. Bumblebee takes a sharp turn. We see him from another dramatic angle. His tail spins out, just enough to continue looking super-cool. Once again, his roof is just out of frame.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 6. In the background, Sam stands at the front door of a house with his back to us. He might have that squiggly line above his head, indicating exasperation that you might see in a Peanuts strip or anime/manga. In the foreground, Bumblebee is parked in front of the house. His roof is finally revealed: a pizza delivery sign sits atop it -- something clever, like "Haas Bros. Pizza" with "'We don't play around with good pizza!'" or something like that.
VOICE (OP):
Who is it?
SAM:
Pizza, ma'am.
SAM (continued):
Pizza.
