You know we never got to find out anything about Maddie’s mother or Alice herself

Like we’re Maddie and her dad separated from her or did she die? It’s more likely they were separated from her due to the queens curse

I wonder if her destiny was in the white kingdom or Red kingdom? I like to think she was a rook for the white queen or something

As for Alice, did she leave wonderland before, leaving Alistair to live his life without her or did she have a reason for leaving him?

Did she go on a huge adventure or did she think she couldn’t raise him, taking on the adventure that is motherhood

Did Alice love her son or was her love for adventuring bigger? She probably did, maybe I’m just being too dramatic and she’s still in wonderland after slaying the jabberwocky?

I’m just so curious, I wish they did so much more with the wonderland kids!

OMG I FINALLY DID IT

I finally got to drawing my own designs for the characters. Not because I hate their og designs but cause I was like Why don’t they look more Victorian :( so this is what came out of that. I will draw their parents but that’ll take a while.

Little notes that I couldn’t put in the image:

That’s not what Maddie’s hair naturally looks like. That is 100% dyed, their hair is black.

I also made it a point to make it so that not all of them are walking in full Victorian get up. Wonderland’s default is Victorian fashion so Leveret and Alistair obviously are purely Victorian since they got stuck in Wonderland. Lizzie however is noted to be proud of her Wonderland heritage and I thought that someone like her wouldn’t really adapt to Ever After fashion and would just stay in Victorian clothing. The only time she would be in modern is if she does a collection matching with friends(like in Spring Unsprung). Maddie is like a mix of Victorian and modern while Bosley is more modern with his coat being KINDA Victorian(tho it’s more inspired than actual).

Bosley does have a matching necklace but his dad still hasn’t given it to him. It’s like a locket in the shape of a door to put a picture of Alistair and Kitty.

I did change some names. I gave Alistair a different last name cause it’s stupid as fuck they gave him Wonderland as his last name like fuck off man. I gave Bunny Leveret as a name since it’s French to mean young rabbit/hare and Kitty’s to Bosley as it’s a town in Cheshire.

Ever after high characters that should have been gender non conforming, an essay

As the next Alice, Alistair has a love for blue dresses and skirts and he actually owns a bunch of skirts and will wear them quite frequently and he looks great every single time.

The wonderlandians girls taught Alistair how to do makeup when they were kids too, tho he's mostly not as dramatic with it as his friends

Just like her father, actually, Maddie couldn't care less about gender rules. She wears everything, from skirts to suits to both at the same time, she really just wants to have fun with her presentation.

Actually, all the wonderlandians like to have fun with their gender, with Lizzie being the only one that isn't gnc, but she compensates by being so overly and dramatically feminine that it's basically drag at this point

She may be good at being feminine, but if Darling had a choice she would only wears suits and pants forever. She's like hardcore butch lesbian and actually her and Daring share clothes because they're basically the same size

Unlike Darling who's passionate about being masculine, it's less that Cerise is gnc and more that she doesn't care for femininity. She's not a fan of dresses, is a disaster at makeup and even worse at acting graceful and feminine and at this point she doesn't even bother trying anymore

I also feel like Cedar would be a bit androgynous? Like, she's honestly still trying to figure out her gender, or if she even identifies as a specific gender, so she really will just do as she pleases with her presentation

Sparrow is gnc because I mean, he's a punk so of course he is. He wears makeup and paints his nails and sometimes wears skirts. He and the Duchess definitely do each other's makeup sometimes

And finally honorable mention for Daring, who's not actually gender non conforming, he's just like... relaly feminine about being masculine.

bunny is definitely worried about almost everything, it’s a thing chase and alistair have gotten used too and help her with

Chase is the others impulse control, bunny is a frantic mess and alistair is just chaos in human form
