Royal-King Indian restaurant at Harrison hot springs resort

The food here was very delicious.

Location itself is right on the main road for the Harrison hot springs resort hotels. Easy to find as it is right on the street and it has some free parking across the street, but really people are most likely to walk here from the hotel.

Exterior and interior is very average strip mall, so not great. But I like that they played Indian music. I didn’t like that it ended mid meal and was restarted, but I always enjoy the native ambiance of the cuisine.

The food was good and standard in the sense that you paid extra for rice. And the prices were better than many of the places in the area honestly. Definitely get the spice level you ask for which is great.

Service was average. Wait time was average. The only thing I didn’t like was how short the menu was. There was no saag which is usually always on the menu and otherwise very short. But in general it was a positive experience.

Sages in Redmond

We found this place in downtown Redmond, without reaching Redmond Town Center. It was on a corner in a demure sort of way. Street parking was available, but the restaurant itself did not have dedicated parking. However, we were able to park for free.

The interior was pretty average, but was clean and quiet and the lights were dimmed. We were greeted right away on a Saturday night and seated right away. They brought out our waters quickly after.

The waiter was very friendly with us even though we were a pretty boisterous group and his friendly and attentive behavior continued throughout. He came to check on us fairly frequently and our waters stayed full.

The food came out together which I like and it was plated well. We received complimentary bread which was good. I’ve had better bread though so to me I wished it was better. But the rest of the food was flavorful and delicious.
