funniest fucking storyline in 911 by FAR is michael getting bored, so he starts spying on his neighbors. athena gets worried and sends bobby over who IMMEDIATELY supports michael's insane claim that his one neighbor is up to something hinky. michael's partner comes home and suggests they rummage through the trash for evidence. despite his obviously joking bobby and michael think this is a GREAT idea. bobby gives david a lecture about how this is a legal grey area. michael sneaks into the guy's apartment and gets hit in the head. athena comes by and is outraged, even though she probably should have known that sending her dumbass husband to her dumbass ex-husband would result in smth exactly like this.

and then they're RIGHT. just completely validated. it's great. i could watch this episode forever.

and also in many ways have her be the moral center. the one who advocates running into danger for a purpose. who wants to save the world in a visceral way. who already understands what it is to be a servant of all even when she isn’t yet at the white tower.

not precluding one with the other. wanting things making her no less good. not glorifying complete self-sacrifice in a woman, but instead putting it together that she chooses the hard way in every instance - she won't take it easy on herself and that’s why she strives to be capable anf also why she strives to do the right thing especially when it isn't easy.

Why did you choose your URL?

Welp, story time.

So when I was a kid we lived in this remote farm town where you had to drive like a half-hour to get to literally anything exciting, and the road happened to pass a llama farm. My mom and I drove past it so many times we literally made up names for the three most commonly-seen llamas, and dumb "predictions" based solely on which ones were on the big hill in the middle of the farm that day and which were grazing elsewhere, joking that they were the "Three Wise Llamas" and could tell the future.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Believe it or not, I wanted to do a gaming history blog at first, since I was just a baby collector, and also a place to put my weird Skyrim OC fanfiction. But then I also threw out a post with an observation on weird symbolism with Lemongrab's eyes in Adventure Time, and just kind of went from there.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Because it's Lemongrab. That's all the reason I need.

(More than once I have considered changing it, but he just fits too well.)

Why did you choose your header?

This picture of a monochrome amber display just popped up on my dash one day, and happened to look really nice with my gray/orange theme, so I just stole it. Really, both of these just boil down to "They Looked Cool And I Am Lazy." XD

I really think it's that one "Gays Bodega" one, from the OK KO series finale? I mean, I get it, that's literally the whole show in a nutshell, but man, do I wish it was, like, one of my fics or something... ^^;

Only 121, officially, if you can believe it. I use kind of a different system, only following gaming and old tech aesthetic blogs for my dash, and keeping fandom stuff separate since I prefer to actually visit everyones' individual blogs for that. So, uh...sorry, if I regularly reblog your stuff but I never followed you, I am following you in spirit! ^^; This system just works much better for me.

Believe it or not...yes. Not too bad, I really do try and keep a low profile specifically because I DON'T do conflict well...

The biggest one was someone actually making a callout post for me once, for the crime of...unfollowing them? Except, uh, read up there. I DON'T follow most blogs, officially, so that was...awkward. Eventually got it all sorted out though, they found the person that actually unfollowed, and I guess...figured that out? I dunno, not to discourse, but that whole situation seemed REALLY weird and unnecessary to me in general.

And...I guess I'm on someone's shitlist because they once posted one of those "Do not interact with me if you have ever shipped X" posts, and I did back in the day (because it was literally the second-most common ship in that particular fandom at the time!) so I stopped interacting with them, and they blocked me? Oh well. *shrugs*

i'm incredibly okay about the drop of the soundtrack when crosshair tells cody the jedi are traitors, btw. so unbelievably normal. definitely not thinking about the way that frames cody, THE clone, THE example of devotion. extremely sane about how cody at that exact moment is looking at the wall of fallen brothers who no longer have anyone powerful really caring about them the way the jedi did. so fucking measured and unfeeling about how he never agrees with the assessment. i am normal.

i'm fully serious when i say that the scene where charlotte asks brimsley about him never marrying is one of my absolute favourites of the franchise.

like, she clearly knows nothing about him personally. why would she? and clearly, they're both equally lonely. clearly his line of "who could ever be free to spend a lifetime with me?" applies to both of them here. clearly, they're mirrors.

and equally, they're the ones they each spend their lifetime with. they're companions, they're bound forever, they care for one another deeply. but they're always divided, they'll never fully understand each other, they can't give each other what they both crave.

and neither of them can ever, ever say it. the closest they'll come is charlotte saying "you care for me" for him. because in the end, it's always brimsley reaching out and never touching to console her in that hallway and always charlotte turning around to ask him the most basic of details about him when they've both known each other for years and years and years.
