A Decade Through Time: The Alderberg Legacy: Year 1601

A death free year! Woohoo!

From the Beginning I Currently

3 months after Jane’s 6th birthday , Catherine when into labor , surprisingly on her husbands Myles 30th birthday.

It was a third daughter , loved by her older sisters.Little Hannah got so many kisses and hugs from Jane and gentle pats from Beatrice ,which warmed Catherine's heart.

Catherine did ask if her husband was disappointed in not having a son , Myles was honest and said a little bit , but he adored his daughters fiercely , zealously and jealously.

At the Kellogg pig farm , Mark Kellogg , now older and grayer then he ever thought he would be , sat with his nephew telling stories by the fire.

Mark had grown to adore the 11 year old boy as if he was his own son. He still remembered his infant son , Owen Kellogg , who dead before he got to know him , even when he was content with raising healthy daughters he wished for the chance to raise a boy and he got it in the form of his wife’s little sisters son.

While Mark and Geoff were bonding and building memories together , at the Horthall Hall things felt like it was settling down after Arthur’s death.

Abel had been trying to lay down the heavy drinking and spending more time with his family , helping Barbara putting their sons to sleep at night and more when he can.

Yet he felt something was missing , now that his father was gone the house felt more empty with just four sims living. He told Barbara that he wanted a final child...

It was a warm autumn morning when Priscilla went into labor for the third time. Griffyn now had a second son.

The mother and baby boy were doing fine , as little Ambrose were soundly asleep on his mother’s chest.

Marion and now toddler Caleb were excited for the new baby , but saddened that they couldn’t play with him until he was much older. They hoped he would grow bigger soon so they all could play together!

The birth of Ambrose sadly out shined the grief Joan held in her heart , as a letter from Champ La Sims told her that her only son , Nicholas Chelsey , died of a long term illness at 42 . Joan had now outlived her 3 children...

At the Friswell residents it had been 18 months since Avigail give birth to their stillborn daughter Griselda.

Life had returned to normal as the couple enjoyed everyday life in each others company and with their son.

And hopefully by the end of 1601 , they will finally that long awaited baby in their arms...

By the town square , 19 year old Ursula sat and enjoyed the sunny warm weather before the bitter cold would grip Outland. It was there Ursula meet her.

The fire haired stranger, a year or two older then her. They sat and talked , the Alderberg ward finding out that her name was Magdalene Calott , and she and her brother had moved to Outland to start a apothecary.

There were something strange about her that drawn Ursula in , something she hadn't felt since she was 10 year old girl towards her dear departed friend Esther. As they both talked and talked until the sun disappeared from the sky , Ursula knew she and Magdalene would be close...

Returning to the Horthall Hall, young Jasper had celebrated his 6th birthday.

Although he was a loner at heart , he enjoyed spending time with his brother Francis in the nursery and couldn't wait to meet his new brother or sister to be born.

He would often slack in his studies and play games or spend the day outside as he inherited a family trait from his grandmother Eleanor whom enjoyed the outdoors.

Finally , by the year’s end, Avigail and Garitt greeted their long awaited child. It was not the girl she had hoped for but a healthy boy , which Garitt and her were grateful for.

Young Stephen was excited to meet his little brother Charles , much to their parent’s delight.

Hopefully Charles would grow up alongside Stephen and any future children their parent’s decided to have , for they were still not done with having children yet.
