Red Peafowl - Assumptions and Theories

Now that I am semi-confident that there won't be any more important announcement for Red Peafowl until the 25th (because I think the last two mystery announcement were the Main Character and Main Love Interest) I am ready to write up my Red Peafowl assumptions/theories/wishes post.

Edit: There has been another update with the plot and some images of either the pilot trailer or the actual series link here. Once again thanks to @mysterygrl20 for putting the post with the google trnaslation here on tumbrl.

Going to use as basis for my information @blmpff post here; @mysterygrl20 individual posts tag here; and the mdl plot synopsis here; along with the synopsis I read on cast announcment articles that goes like this: The drama tells the story of Lu Yi Peng, a former police officer who decides to live with Shuai on an island, raising birds. However, he realizes that the person he once had a relationship with is a powerful mafia boss.

Also going to tag @respectthepetty for helping me narrowing down the leads (YinWar/MossBank) and for sharing my madness over this crazy ass BL already.

Going to start by saying that I think the three mystery characters are the villain, the hero and the love interest. I am also going to work under the assumption that while the last two will be revealed on the 25th (I am leaning on YinWar at the present thanks to a comment made by @amos-reviews-main [hope you don't mind the tag] under the last announcment) the third one our villain will stay a mystery.

Let's beging

ASSUMPTION N#1

Given that there seems to be a significant event in the past we are either getting two timelines (similar to kiseki dear to me but more evenly split between past and present) or the events from the past will be a mystery to the viewers to be slowly revealed using flashbacks.

Both of the plots hint at this, the character description for the hero and the fact that some of the stuff in other character description also seem to hint that they were part of what happen in the past.

If the second non mdl plot is more accurate something brings our hero back to town and into dealing with the mafia. Which leads me to

ASSUMPTION N#2

Cooheart character will be intrumental to bringing his brother our hero back into the fold. His character description hints at him being the biggest point of the contention between our main couple and that he has some kind of accident.

Another character that has an accident is Gun's character.

Also there is a doctor nurse in the cast list.

Edit: Cooheart's character accident is the past, and it has left him with a disability. I do still believe that he will get someone involved in all of this.

Either Gun's accident involves Cooheart's character (not on purpouse) in the present or Cooheart's character had an accident in the past and is now seeing a doctor regularly.

ASSUMPTION N#3

Like I mention earlier I think our third mystery character is the villain. His body dissapeared = No body no murder = he is still alive. That is just the biggest writing rule ever.

If the actor for that character doesn't get revelead it means that one of the other actor is actually that character pretending to be someone else (probably one of the cops or a character that doesn't interact with the love interest for obvious reasons). If they do have a seperate actor that probably means that at least one if not more of our big cast is secretely working for him.

ASSUMPTION N#4

There are only two genres that benift from having such a big cast and making sure they all have identifiable characteristics and fan anticipation: Mysteries or Something with a high body count.

It means that our cast of characters are either Suspects or Victims or Both.

EDIT: It's a mystery. I do still believe some of the people from the big cast are going to die.

Either way I do think that a lot of the new people will end up dying at some point during the series.

ASSUMPTION N#5

Themes. If this show has decent writing I can already ID 3 themes.

The new tendency in bl fandom to romanticize the mafia. See Lee's character being a human trafficker and our lead being potentially not that great either.

The cops, and how they are not there to protect and serve and how much the crime fight is really a sham. See Frank's character being an undercover cop (a plot line that usually has a the undercover cop come out on the other side with a semi-broken relationship to his job)

Toxic Ships (a la: Kinnporsche, Hannibal and Interview with the Vampire)

About the last one: I have a personal metric on wether or not I enjoy a toxic "problematic" ship

Do you get the sense/vibe from the writing that the creator/writers of the show knows this is fucked. And I don't mean a lampshade comment with someone saying "This is not healty" and everything resuming as normal.

Is there a point in which the dynamic becomes more equal. As in no matter which character is objectively "worse" is there a point where it feels like the characters are on equal footing, on the same side, Hannibal does this really well for example.

Some ships that don't pass the test are: Twilight, 50 Shades, R*ylo; TharnType and every ship on Love Syndrome (do not ever watch that BL I am serious)

ASSUMPTION N#6

Ships.

FrankLee are obviously our second couple. They are both super relevant to the potential themes, they are obviously trying to pair braind (this is their third BL) and they were also announced first.

Boun and the Doctor are giving me crumbs ship vibe. They are both potentially important chartacters. But I feel like with all of this their relationship might have the least ammount of dedicated screen time.

Now the last one is less of an assumption and more of a wish really.

Max-Coohearth > now listen I know that Cooheart has a love interest already, Rome one of the first new guys announced in the cast. But Listen the fact they are already dating doesn't bode well for them. Cooheart is a super important character and it makes sense that his "proper" love interest would be someone in the mafia proper.

Plus Cooheart deserves it ok. I loved both of his major roles (uwma and my only 12%), but he wasn't allowed to be a proper sexy queer guy in either of them. Have you seen his instagram feed? It's picture after picture of him in sexy outfits. Let this man be in a high heat realtionship, put in a skirt. He deserves it and so do we.

Also Max from iconic pair MaxTul pair with Cooheart will heal people. It would totally fix me. And if they give this to me I will forgive anything and everything this show does wrong seriously I will be like: I was wrong on everything and the plot is not that good, but they give me MaxCooheart so 10/10.

Also the character description for Max's character makes me think that catchphrase they mention might be something similar to the English phrase: "Who's Your Daddy?" and [this is @respectthepetty's fault, I didn't use to have such glee about a possibly daddy kink] seeing Max Nattapol uttering the phrase Who's Your Daddy and potentially having a DaddyKink relationship with Cooheart is something I didn't know I needed but now I desperately desire.

Day 1 - Introduction

Robin is a confident and friendly magician. Curiosity and need to be interested, entartained and involved are their key qualities alongside with how stubborn they are. However they find it hard to read people and get attached to them. That never helped making a lot of connections. It leaves Robin having a lot of familliar friendly faces around the district, but very few close friends. Robin is hardly ever bored, they enjoy keeping their aunt's magic shop and providing townspeople with whatever household magic tricks they need.

Resurrection made Robin change from the way they used to be. They lost colors in their appearence and became less loud and superficial. They feel urge to remember themselves again, to get all the pieces connected, but they are also afraid of failing to connect to their past self. Robin became a quiet observer seeking to find hidden truth in details.

Robin likes: nature, traveling, playing on words, working as a shop keeper, doing any sort of fortune telling, learning and discovering new ways of magic, collecting trinkets of all kind; calm people, hot drinks, sunsets, abandoned empty locations like ruins or dead cites; finding traces of ancient or hidden magic in places and objects; music and dancing.

Robin dislikes: too many rules and prohibitions; being told what to do in a humilating way; having somebody make important decisions for them; people who are mean and fast to judge; not being able to find a solution; giving up on people, ideas and objects.

Day 2 - LI and their relationship

Asra is Robin's one and only love interest. I could only see the rest of the routes as friendship routes for Robin.

Their relationship is sweet and caring partnership in crime.

Their connection grew slowly throughout time. Journey from strangers to close friends took them a number of years. Robin was surprised to see Asra coming back to spend time together over and over again, but it was a pleasant surprise obviously. They found themselves the most relaxed around Asra. They bonded over their light playful tempers and shared fascination with magic and it's mysteries.

Asra was the first person who choose to be near all the time and Robin welcomed him naturally. Being on their own was fine to Robin. But finding a friend like him made them realize how meaningful connections can be. Robin started to care more about townsfolk and neighborhood habitants to the point that when the plague came, Robin could not stay a bystander.

After resurrection Robin only saw Asra as a friend and teacher. While appreciating his supportive and patient attitude, Robin desired autonomy. They were eager to learn doing everything by themselves. Asra made everything for Robin not to feel like a burden, but they still wanted to do better, to feel better and to make him proud.

By the timeline of the game prologue Robin started to feel mixed feelings. They were proud of their own progress. Never since they remember themselves they felt as confident as now. And at the same time they noticed Asra distancing himself a lot (I believe it happened because the more mc became resembling the old self, the harder it was to contain his emotions but its my tiny little hc). That was the first time Robin realized that instead of needing Asra's help, they missed his company. Now that they did not need to hold his hand to stand and walk properly, Robin realized that they missed the sensation of his palm in their in a different way.

So they started making steps towards Asra, completely unaware of his true feelings. The way how eager he met them midways was another surprise for Robin. And slowly uncovering his secrets through the route made them fall harder for this person.

Risotto: " Maurizio Costanzo Show "

Being surrounded by a variety of idiots ( yes even Prosciutto has his dumb moments ) Risotto likes to relax his brain watching an evergreen tv talk show by Maurizio Costanzo.

This old man, who Italy likes to make fun of because he literally has no neck ( and illuso jockingly calls poor Pesci like him) is basically one of the fathers of italian television and the cultured nature of the program itself, really helps Risotto relax and enjoy some quiet time.

Prosciutto: " Il commissario Montalbano "

Even if normally Prosciutto would avoid cops, or like he calls them " sbirri maledetti " he really likes the vibe of this detective story.

He actually relates to the protagonist ( Salvo Montalbano ) on many levels: his reserved personality, his relationship with women ( both are womanizer ) and his absolute distaste for people who interrupts other people's lunchtime with phonecalls (the first time he saw it happen during an episode, he jumped from the couch screaming " SI C*ZZO SALVO, DIGLIELO A QUEL M*NCH*ONE BACIANNICCHIA!! ")

So whenever his favourite sicilian detective is on tv, he likes to watch it with a cold beer and eating some " spaghetti alle vongole"

Illuso: " Uomini e Donne "

When it comes to drama, Illuso is the first one to enjoy it! And seeing young shallow people trying to find " true love " on a trash tv program really makes his day.

So with a face mask, coffee and his favourite pj he sits on his bed and evilly laugh at the rejects of the suitors, the tears of the girls and the banshee screeches of Tina Cipollari ( one of the show's regular hosts )

But what really makes Illuso an addict to this unbearable mess is the queen that reigns coldly over this chaos: Maria De Filippi. The woman, being also Maurizio's Costanzo's wife, is one of italian tv's overlords and is responsible for the majority of these type of entartainment ( Illuso has her autograph, is securely hidden inside his office)

Melone: " Il Grande Fratello "

Cameras, secrets, public display of the human nature on it's lowest levels and tons of pretty girls showering/ telling everything about themselves for the audience to see...You can't tell me this isn't Melone's sh*t!

He especially likes the 24h live where you can truly see the competitors forgetting about the fact they are on tv and display sides of them not only to their journey's companions but also to the audience creepingly spying on them 24/7

Melone takes notes about the girls he finds interesting and plans on going to the " meet and greet" after the program (or when a competitor is eliminated from the game) to ask them out/see if they are good " Babyface material"...1/3 usually they are but the rest of the team prefers not to investigate on his random trips to Cinecittà

Formaggio: " Incantesimo "

He is the last person someone can imagine enjoying a soap opera, and yet this roman man follows the romance and adventures of the doctors, nurses and lawyers of the " Clinica Life " in Rome like it's some sort of cult.

Formaggio is a passionate man, so he really gets invested in the stories and star-crossed lovers that makes his lonely afternoons more interesting; the rest of the Squadra often found him half drunk crying and yelling at the tv stuff like " NO LEI NON TE MERITA, PORCODDUE!" or " AMO' TE STA' A FA' 'NFINOCCHIA' DA QUEJA STR*NZA!!" and then passing out on the carpet..They have the decency to record the episode, so they don't have to deal with his whining about how he lost the occasion to see Agnese's " Occhi de fata "

Pesci: " Carramba che sorpresa! "

Pesci is a soft boi, and the maternal aura radiating from Raffaella Carrà ( bless her soul, she truly was an icon ) is a perfect fit for him! He watches her show after rough missions, bullying sessions from his collegues ( illuso and formaggio ) or in general when he is feeling down.

Seeing the happiness, the emotions, the genuine feelings of the people Her Royal Majesty Raffaella helps reunite and be together after years of being apart ( his faves are long lost lovers ) really melts his heart. So he goes up to his room with a warm banket and hot cocoa, locks the door and let himself be a sentimental 22 year old guy without the peer pressure ruining his fun

Ghiaccio: " Sarabanda "

Ghiaccio loves 4 things : his beloved red Mazda, go to a club and do c*ke while a str*pper with a particularly nice butt gives him a lap dance, beat up some random b*stards and Sarabanda.

Finds the announcer, Enrico Papi, extremely annoying but the whole vibe of the show is what he needs to let his fury filled brain concentrate on something else.

Having a big selection of cd and listening to various artists during his rides he easily guess the songs but finds it challenging (in a good way ) when he discovers a new song or artist during an episode; but if a competitor is slow at answering or straight up ignorant on the whole deal ( and Lord have mercy if they say things with the wrong pronunciation ) he starts yelling like he always does and starts cursing the whole Heaven population.

One time Risotto found him punching the table while yelling " LA BAMBA D*OCAN!!! COME C*ZZO FAI A NON INDOVINARE LA BAMBA MAD*NA P*TAN!!! TO SOREA VACA, COI SOLDI CHE VINCEVI QUI SI FA LA PORCOD*O DI SPESA 2 M*RDA DI SETTIMANEH!!"

i have two questions, 1. is it normal that i've been persisting for a while and i've seen no movement whatsoever? like i really was persisting but i slipped up and realized nothing as changed in the 3d. 2. i sometimes fear that i'm not manifesting 'correctly', but if i trust that i am, is that enough to be doing it 'correctly'?

First of all, Sorry for late reply. I’ve been sick all week☹️.

If you are looking for movement in 3d you are not in the state of wishfullfilled. The only thing you need to care about is 4d. You need to be sure that it is already there. I can’t tell you how long it’s going to take ; It can be measured by the feeling of naturalness.

Do not try to get something. Be the one who has it. As long as you try to make something happen you will wait forever. Manifesting is instant. Stop looking to the mirror, your bank account for confirmation. Whenever your desire comes to your mind, go to the desired state and dwell in it.

Persisting is the most important.DO NOT PERSIST TO GET IT . PERSIST BECAUSE YOU HAVE IT. If you stay in the state of "lack, not having your desire" you wont get it. You need to be the person who has it. If you get into the state of knowingness that you have your desire and persist in that state. The law has no options but to manifest it in 3d.

2.

There’s not a correct way to manifest. The basics of loa is all you need. Methods are not necessary they are here to make manifesting entartaining and easier.

All you need to know is your desire is within you and it’s not something unavailable, it’s not something you need to achieve. Just decide who you wanna be and persist.

Do whatever feels right to you.
