I also generally hc that this man barely has an inch of untouched skin left after all the years. I tend to mix and match when writing for whatever is relevant.

Godly powers/abilities/outward appearance/etc. skips a generation. Wilbur is as Normal as it gets. EXCEPT. if you put his dna under as microscope you wouldn't be able to identify that you even were looking at anything. Man doesn't have anything humans in his genetic code.

This man is the embodiment of a bad habit. He probably has all of them. He smokes. He probably has done drugs habitually. He picks his skin. He bites his fingernails. He doesn't keep track of health or hygiene. he can't communicate. He's a habitual lier. I can go on.

Rimworld: Arcana, Part 3: The Goat Is Watching

Here we see Turel and Jinana having A Nice Time (despite not... actually facing each other..?) Not pictured: Lucio wandering right up next to the damned bed and standing there, damn nosy perv-goat

Julian sleeps in, naked (look at his pawn icon in the upper right lmao) while the others share some morning conversation. Spirits are looking pretty good overall (the colors behind their icons at the top show their Mood Level; if their Mood drops too low, they may have a Mental Break, which is Bad).

BUT THEN

Oh no, raiders have sniffed us out already!

It’s... one Ugly Stoner with a club. I think that’s supposed to be war paint, but he just looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks.

Unfortunately for ‘Pecs’ here, Tsedi just happened to be nearby, hauling some steel he found. Tsedi has a revolver and a Shooting skill of 12. This is NOT a fair fight.

Pecs is having A Bad Time. Sadly we do not have the resources to build a cell for him so we can nurse him back to health (and he would also go through withdrawal during this time because he’s a pothead and we have no pot for him). Tsedi let him flee off the map, his fate unknown. ;P

(That reminds me though, we should grow some smokeleaf and roll joints. Smoking refills a pawn’s Recreation, and if they don’t do it too often they won’t become dependent. Plus, joints always sell well to traders!)

Getting Lovin’ on the regular and having a high opinion of your lover raises Mood, and that can lead to different kinds of inspiration! Apparently Turel’s diq game is so good that something has to die. 🔫

Chitchat around the table during Social Hour. I set their schedules so that they have free time that coincides, so they can get social recreation like this! Their only other sources of recreation rn (besides fuckin’) are the horseshoes pit they built, taking walks, and watching clouds. Hopefully some trader comes by soon with some games they can purchase...

Randy sent us a crashed cargo pod! It contains... one sombrero. We must have it. (Also I have one mod that introduces Housekeeper Cats into the game, and another that turns them into Felynes from Monster Hunter, which is why “Felyne Wool” is available material. Hush.)

Spoiler: Ever the stylish one, Tsedi retrieved the sombrero and put it on. Sadly, I did not get a snapshot.

Now, these people are getting a lot of chances to talk, and none of them have conflicting Traits, so let’s see how they’re getting on...

Not only are Turel and Jinana boning down, they are also immediately Best Friends 😂 Turel seems to like everyone quite a bit.

(Turel does not have a last name, so he’s just Turel Turel lmao) Tsedi has also made friends with everyone, though mostly he has been engaging in chitchat rather than Deep Talk, so the numbers are lower.

Jinana is getting on well here. I think something went wrong, though, s/he and Heron were supposed to be Siblings. Oh dear.

Julian getting on well with everyone, though he likes Tsedi more than Tsedi likes him, lol

Heron is also doing well socially. Everyone is friends! How long before I have to build a bed for five people

A busy day all told, rounded out with some more Night Gardening for everyone. Julian has even managed to gain 1 level each in Construction and Crafting! And he only botched like 4 sections of fence. 😅

So the day ends as it began... this time without Lucio watching. (Everyone else is still in the same room tho, guys...)

haikyuu general headcanons from my sleep deprived ass

hEy this is sleep deprived me who is in in the verge of crying AND ready to go party and rob a bank

yes my kids, it's weird feelings time

ANYWAY here i suppose i'll write both angsty and fluffy and crack headcanons because i really don't know what's happening anymore

me after writing this: nope, it's all crack and fluff my guys. no angst. i couldn't bring myself to make myself more sad lmaoo

warnings: the first part is set on 2012, hence why kenma doesn't own a wii, not a switch. also there's manga spoilers but i out a warning before it heheheh

also not proof read and written while being really fucking tired. it will probably not make sense

general random headcanons

– akaashi wears clip hair locks when he has to study

– kunimi smokes weed like everyday. he'll be in class and his brain will be on another galaxy thinking about his donkey who happens to be actually a dog who happens to actually not exist. completely permafried but somehow keeps a gpa of 3.8 (in spain we don't have gpa but we have average mark which is the same lol)

– bokuto is really really good at physics. probably recites the three laws of newton while spiking and his serve routine includes him replaying the boyle laws on his mind. probably the reason why kuroo and him get along so well. kuroo prefers chemistry so they have this inside argument where bokuto hits him with his physics fats while kuroo just yells compounds and their nomeclature

– oikawa has a cat. that's it. that's the headcanon.

– makki and mattsun have the dumbes longest pet names for each other. – yukie: none in particular really. but her favourite owl in washio's aunt backyard is a verreaux eagle owl.

– kenma doesn't have a wii because not a lot of his favourite games are available on it. but he's saving for a ps4 since it's coming soon and his ps3 is kinda on the edge of dying of overuse

– the first time hinata had to go to karasuno was also the first time he actually rode a bike and he almost crashed with around twenty cars lmao

– on his second year, kageyama invited the second years to his birthday (hinata yamaguchi yachi AND tsukishima, not tanaka noya ennoshita narita and kinoshita lmao) and tsukishima DID go. he kept saltying over everything but after that, he and kageyama got aling wayyy better. (though the bantering enver stopped)

– akaken headcanon that they sometimes study together if a training camp is near finals week. akaashi is real bad at english and kenma has 0 brain for history

Due to his position, this rarely proves to be a problem, he only ever needs to keep his mouth shut during business meetings, a visible struggle for him. To many's surprises tho, he's a very manipulative and charming man, just knowing what to say to get people to do things he wants them to and if talking won't help, everyone is payable or has a very special person who'd they do everything for just to keep them safe. Because of his over-confidence, arrogance and little regards for others in general, many people tend to call him a narcissistic asshole. However, Samuel would prefer the title of a born leader because of his dominance, planing and strategic skills. There is no scenario he didn't already expect and plan for. Samuel has a good ability to understand difficult problems and create a solid solution for them. Because of his parents' successful lives, Sam is also quite image-conscious and image-focused, desiring to be just as good of a leader as his father was and is ready to do everything for accomplishing his dreams. Backstory: Samuel's mother was a model and his father was the head of a mafia family, so the two were nearly always occupied by work, never having time for their son – for their family. What most mattered to them, was work and money. However, they couldn't just let a small child alone all time, they felt bad for their son. So, Sam got everything he asked for and was surrounded by servants and his nanny the whole god damn day. He didn't like it one bit, he wanted his alone time and not met a fake polite person after every few steps he took. He didn't mind the servants as much as his nanny, a strict elderly woman, who watched his every move and often complained about how spoiled and lazy he was. The nanny would often get angry at him and scold him. One time she screamed so loud and much at Sam, that he began to cry. Still, with tears in his eyes, he phoned his parents a while later. Worried his mother asked what was wrong and Samuel explained everything to her. The next day the old woman was gone and a much younger woman stood in Sam's room and introduced herself as his new nanny. At first, Sam was confused, but he soon accepted the new situation without questioning it any further. His new nanny was much nicer than the old hag and wasn't so strict as his former one. However, that was not the only thing that changed, the servants began to behave strangely. They all seemed nervous whenever they were around him and they all were much friendlier than before. Samuel didn't know what happened until he heard some servants talk about the incident a few months later. A servant, who worked already pretty long there, told a new one that she has to be careful when she talked to Sam, his old nanny got immediately "taken care off" as he talked bad about her to his parents. Finally, Samuel understood what was going on and felt stupid for not realizing it sooner. Even though he was only 8, Sam liked this new feeling of power. Since then, he complained immediately to his parents, about servants when he didn't like them or their behaviour. The problem for him was that he only had those powers at home, however, this did not mean that he was any different at the private school he visited. Samuel was a witty and charming boy, who knew exactly how to use words to manipulate people, even at an early age, which made him pretty popular in school. Even though, Sam only talked to people who he thought were worth enough his time, nearly everyone wanted to befriend him due to his status and family background. So, Samuel grew up with a golden spoon in his mouth and nearly everyone adoring him or at least faking it. At the age of 13, his father finally decided to let his son partake in the family business. Obviously, Sam was only introduced to the "fun" and tame sides of his father's work. Ordering his people around and going with him on the non-dangerous business meetings, being introduced to a lot of influential people with whom he would make business one day. Despite the boring aspects, the young boy enjoyed the time he spent with his father a lot. They grew quite close and it turned out that Samuel was quite a natural talent, everything his father taught he picked up fairly quickly. By the age of barely 15, he already knew how to handle more weapons, especially guns, than an average police officer and shortly after his 16 birthday he had already killed a man. A traumatic experience which his father used to form his son more and more into the perfect heir, telling him how it was okay to kill and which people actually deserved it. Not really having anyone else to turn to or any other role models, Sam ate up his father's words, believing every single one and letting them influence him. The remorse and guilt he once felt were soon lost and he started to actually enjoy the more exciting aspects of the mafia world. At his 18 birthday, a tragedy happened. A meeting his father went to turned sour and ended in a shooting which only barely anyone survived, Sam's father included. This affected Sam badly because he was supposed to be there with his father but was running late due to celebrating early and sleeping in with a hangover. He felt like everything was his fault, if he would have been there with everyone else, he might have had the chance to save his father. Besides, he was the only one who seemed to genuinely care for Sam after all these years. Afterwards, Samuel took over the family business and let his anger and frustration out on everyone who annoyed him just in the slightest. Even after years, Sam still didn't overcome the loss of the only person he ever really cared for. Not knowing how else to forget about his pain, the young adult drowned his worries in alcohol, like he saw older adults do it. Even though Samuel was still too young to drink such liquors, he knew very well who to pay to get it. As time passed on Sam even got involved with drugs at the age of 21, to let loose once in a while and forget about these bad memories and his responsibilities. Despite all of that he still tried to honour his father and his work by trying to follow in his father's footsteps and running the business the way, his old man had wanted him to. Maybe not really sober nor completely mentally well but nobody seemed to care about because Sam actually managed to do a good job.

Dream Date: Imagine this: a nice, plush couch, covered in down pillows and fluffy blankets. There is a fire in the brick fireplace, the wood smoke combines with the scent of Nag Champa incense and the homemade treats that cover the low table next to the couch. There are brownies, bread rolls, cheeses, bowls of fruit, dipping sauces, cakes, sandwiches - a whole feast of my favorite foods. My partner and I would cuddle up on that couch, listening to my favorite symphonies on the record player in the corner and talking for hours. This isn't really a first date thing, more like an established relationshil date, but god I'd love to just spend an afternoon surrounded with my favorite things and my favorite person.

Do I have a crush?: Not really. There are people I find very very attractive (a friend, Sam Kiszka, Duff Mckagan in his 20s, Lucy Lui) but nobody that I'm actually romantically and sexually into.

vent (warning for someone not caring about covid, refusing to wear a mask thus putting an at risk person even more at risk, thinking covid is just a type of flu, and thinking vaccines make you immune to all variants of covid. Also him trying to convince me to not wear a mask once. Brief mention for a pet in the ER vet but the pet is fine now) tldr for warnings: my dad is a covidiot

Gotta fucking love my dad, the same guy who got a covid scare, refusing to listen to the CDC and saying quote “The CDC can suck my ass” when you tell him they’re saying they recommend vaccinated people wear masks indoors due to the delta variant. Gotta love him ignoring his son who’s an EMT and his child who’s chronically ill with a heavily weakened immune system (who’s currently sick just due to their room smelling like smoke) because he doesn’t care about other people only himself when it comes to covid and wearing masks. Then also complains about how long lockdowns last. Then also goes into stores without a mask on even if there’s a bunch of people in there. Oh yea? and when he had that covid scare before we got vaccinated? (which did turn out to be negative btw) He literally kept telling me he wanted me to stay as far from him as possible because he didnt want me to have any risk of catching it *even tho we live in the same house and are very reliant on each other due to both of our health* ((his immune system is fine, if not strengthened but he’s also disabled))

Every time he hears about covid on the TV or radio or something when he’s around me he always starts going on this rant about ‘covid is just another strain of the fucking flu! that’s why they were able to develop a vaccine for it so fast! it’s not that fucking serious! its fucking ridiculous-’ blah blah blah ((and he wonders where my brother and I picked up our bad swearing habits from)) and since we both got vaccined, phizer put out a thing about us possibly needing a 3rd dose and im fine with that but he’s getting all annoyed and upset about it ((i know he’ll still get it but still)) and says well that we’re vaccinated and that should protect us against *all* variants of covid and that *we* dont need to wear our masks anymore and blah blah blah I still remember after getting our vaccines we went to go grocery shopping bc we were low on food and he was like ‘ya know [birth name] we dont have to wear our masks in the store because we’re vaccinated now’ and it’s like???? *I* still have too??? even after covid is over (IF it’s ever over) I’m still gonna be wearing a mask because it’s good for me?? I literally bought a mask before covid was even known about?? bc i was so tired of getting a cold or something???

deadass there’s only been ONE time that i can think of where i didnt wear my mask in a building and it’s because i genuinely forgot it and that was because fluffy, my cat, *was in the emergency vet* and I was stressed out of my mind (Fluffy is fine now btw)

AND GUESS WHAT!! THE DAY AFTER!!!! I GOT A COLD!!! SO YES IM GOING TO KEEP WEARING A MASK

It’s so fucking whack to me as well bc he does the whole ‘i dont like them because they’re not comfortable and i cant breath well in them!’ Even AFTER he’s watched me have asthma attacks but still wear one that’s more fitting and harder to breathe in than the ones he wears ((yes i did compare mine vs his bc he wears the standard blue masks or fabric ones that are a little too big)) and also have POTS episodes while wearing a mask, watched me pull down the mask just to use my inhaler and then immediately put it back up, has seen me have panic/anxiety attacks while wearing a mask- YA KNOW ALL THESE THINGS THAT ACTIVELY HAVE ME NEEDING MORE AIR BUT I STILL WEAR A MASK

1. Are you solitary or in a coven? Can I say both? I practice with my coven and I also practice as solitary - to better myself and for magick or intent that I cannot share with others.

2. Do you consider yourself Wiccan, Pagan, witch, or other? Pagan… witch...

3. What is your zodiac sign? Pisces (Sun and Rising) Sag (Moon)

4. Do you have a Patron God/dess? Yes, Cerridwen.

5. Do you work with a Pantheon? Yes - a couple actually. I work closely the Welsh/Celtic pantheon, but I also work with Greek and Norse gods as well. I’m eclectic at heart, so I am open to any of the god/desses that call to me.

6. Do you use tarot, palmistry, or  any other kind of divination? Yes - tarot, astrology, mediumship are my go to’s.

7. What are some of your favorite herbs to use in your practice? (if any) Rosemary, Cedar, Mugwort

8. How would you define your craft? Eclectic at heart, and it has morphed over the years. Right now, it seems to be a form of Celtic Shamanism with a dash of Strega (which surfaced over the past year as I started to study where exactly I came from).

9. Do you curse? If not, do you accept others who do? This seems a rather personal question and in my honest opinion, is only the business of the practitioner… that being said, I do accept others that do, as long as they do responsibly.

10. How long have you been practicing? Actively practicing, 10 years - although I did start dabbling closer to 20 years ago.

11. Do you currently or have you ever had any familiars? Yes… he’s a black and white ‘water’ cat - his name is Boo. :)

12. Do you believe in Karma or Reincarnation? Yes. Both.

13. Do you have a magical name? Yes, a few actually - know to most as Trinity, initiated as Cerridwen Cauldronborn in March of 2017 - and the other names are only know to those in my closest circle.

15. What was the last spell you performed? Feb. 16… well after ritual that night.

Yes, but with still countless things to learn.

18. Do you have a book of shadows? If so, how is it written and/or set up? Yes, have a family BoS and 2 personal ones. Family book is wood bound, personal one is leather and the other a 3 ring binder. Not all that organized except to the people who use them.

Yes.

As in what exactly? A witch is a magick practitioner - there are categories and types of magick, but if you practice magick, you’re some type of witch.

26. What got you interested in witchcraft? The husband - he grew up Pagan. And my folks never really liked him because he identified as a witch and, you know, that’s bad. So, after we got married, I figured, well he can’t be all that bad and did some research. Nothing has ever resonated more with me in my life!

27. Have you ever performed a spell or ritual with the company of anyone who was not a witch? No.

28. Have you ever used ouija? Yes, often.

29. Do you consider yourself a psychic? Yes.

30. Do you have a spirit guide? If so, what is it? A couple actually - my animal guide is an otter.

31. What is something you wish someone had told you when you first started? I don’t really know - don’t have an answer to this one.

37. How do you incorporate your spirituality into your daily life? Meditation, almost daily. I also have crystals/herbs and other magickal items placed throughout and outside of the house for various magick things. I also do a lot of candle work, at least once a week.

39. What is your favorite witchy book, both fiction and non-fiction. Why? Nonfiction is a toss up between Crone Magic and Cauldronborn… fiction, I enjoyed Harry Potter and the Witch and Wizard series.

41. What’s the craziest witchcraft-related thing that’s happened to you? When I was researching Paganism, trying to decide if it was horrible or not, I put a call out to the Goddess - told her, if she wanted me, she would have to give me some kind of undeniable sign. That night, I woke three different times, to a woman’s voice yelling my name. My husband heard nothing. That’s when I decided to dedicate myself to the work of the Goddess.

42. What is your favourite type of candle to use? All of them, I’m really not prejudice ;) I’m a candle maker myself...

43. What is your favorite witchy tool? Again, all of them - I don’t use anything for my Craft that I don’t love.

52. What is your biggest witchy pet peeve? The hypocrites… those who claim to be a witch just because it’s trendy or they’re a rebel. Those who walk around like they know everything there is to know, and and look down their nose at others because they’ve practiced longer/trained in whatever/older/younger/different path/etc.

53. Do you like incense? If so what’s your favorite scent? Yes, but I usually make my own - love frank and myrrh resins tho!

55. What has been your biggest witchcraft disaster? Doing magick during a voc moon - smoke alarms blaring at midnight, almost set ablaze my altar!

56. What has been your biggest witchcraft success? This is a tough one, and there’s a few that come to mind… but I think the biggest ‘success’ is me. As I get to know myself and better myself, the stronger I become, and with magick, that makes all the difference!

57. What in your practice do you do that you may feel silly or embarrassed about? Not really - I have my practice, you have yours. I don’t judge others, and could care less if they judge me.

73. Do you celebrate the Esbbats? If so, how? Yes - with coven when they have ritual and at home during the full moon. We light up the candles, make offering to the nature spirits, re-ward and cleanse the house, sit out crystals in the moonlight and sometimes sing to the moon herself.

75. Do you think witchcraft has improved your life? If so, how? Yes - I’ve done A LOT of self work in my Craft, not that I’m anywhere near done! My confidence has improved greatly, ,my understanding of people and the world in general has shifted, I’m empowered, I’m a healer, and I am free, spiritually. I’m still working thru physical and mental health issues, but it’s easier now - and I have a family that supports my growth.

76. Where do you draw inspiration from for your practice? My daydreams, walks out in nature, and late nights - after a certain hour, I’ve found that I think and perceive things a little different… and I’m more comfortable with myself as well.

77. Do you believe in ‘fantasy’ creatures? (Unicorns, fairies, elves, gnomes, ghosts, etc) Yes.

79. Do you use blood magick in your practice? Why or why not? Yes, and just began recently - not for just anything tho. It started because someone gave me an idea, so I did my research and tried it. Blood magick is a powerful tool and it works, so I use it when needed.

81. In what area or subject would you most like your craft to grow? Right now, my magickal goal is very personal.

82. What’s your favorite candle scent? Do you use it in your practice? See, I make candles, so this is a rough one :/ I have one called Witches Brew, which is a blend of amber and ylang ylang,,, that’s probably my favorite… and yes!

83. Do you have a pre-ritual ritual? (I.e. Something you do before rituals to prepare yourself for them). If so what is it? Bath or shower with salts/oils/incense

84. What real life witch most inspires your practice? I don’t really have one.

85. What is your favorite method of communicating with deity? Invocation/channelling

86. How do you like to organize all your witchy items and ingredients? Drawers and boxes - organized so that I know where everything is and disorganized enough so that others can’t ;)

87. Do you have any witches in your family that you know of? After a bit of research, I found a few on both sides of my family - but my family did a decent job hiding it, to the point where I’m not even sure my parents know about them.

88. How have you created your path? What is unique about it? Tbh, I believe everyone’s path is pretty unique - and yes, I do not follow a particular path because I’m eclectic. My path shifts and changes when the need arises… kinda like that river thing, you never step in the same river 2x because it’s always moving and changing? That’s kinda what my Craft is like.

89. Do you feel you have any natural gifts or affinities (premonitions, hearing spirits, etc.) that led you toward the craft? If so what are they? Empathy and premonitions are things I grew up with and evolved naturally into my practice. Spirit communication, energy healing and divination came very easy to me, once I woke up to them.

90. Do you believe you can initiate yourself or do you have to be initiated by another witch or coven? It’s a personal decision, really. I believe it can be done either way.

91. When you first started out in your path what was the first thing or things you bought? Candles

92. What is the most spiritual or magickal place you’ve been? Sedona, AZ

93. What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone who is searching for their matron and patron deities? Let them come to you - meditate and pray, keep an open heart and mind - then do your research!

94. What techniques do you use to ‘get in the zone’ for meditation? Not a lot, noise cancellation headphones work well tho (don’t even need the music, just the silence)!

95. Did visualization come easily to you or did you have to practice at it? Visualization comes very easy to me.

96. Do you prefer day or night? Why? Late night; it has been my experience that the mind works better the later it gets.

97. What do you think is the best time and place to do spell work? Dusk; outdoors

98. How did you feel when you cast your first circle? Did you stumble or did it go smoothly? Well, I clearly remember feeling the shift - whether or not it was ‘smooth’, I have no idea lol - but I considered it a success when I felt the shift.

99. Do you believe witchcraft gets easier with time and practice? Yes.

100. Do you believe in many gods or one God with many faces? Both.

101. Do you eat meat, eggs and dairy? Yes to meat, no eggs or dairy (mostly because I have crappy reactions to them)

102. What is your favorite color and why? It’s a toss up between midnight blue and forest green… and it’s just because I like them really.

103. What is the one question you get asked most by non-practitioners or non-pagans? How do you usually respond? So, what do you do exactly? And tbh, the answer all depends on who’s talking to me...

104. Which of your five senses would you say is your strongest? Toss up - hearing/smell. 105. What is a pagan or witchcraft rule that you preach but don’t practice? Are there really rules? And I try not to teach/preach things I don’t practice...and when I do, someone promptly throws my words back at me!

Sooo here we go another hxh seance!

(again, Her = A., Him=T.)

We watched from Colt’s birth to the King’s birth, we stopped mid episode on that latter.

-They definitly find the CA arc far more intense so far, and consider it already went downhill. I quote “Children are dead, the queen is losing control over her soldiers, the soldiers are losing control between each other, Ponzu and Pokkle seems to handle the situation so far but it won’t seem to last, and on Kite’s side they are doomed to go downhill because Gon is with them”

-They are still thrown out that none of the other three (Kurapika, Leorio and Hisoka) are in there. They think Hisoka would have fun being part of his own, while they actively argue that Leorio would be the only one with common sense and with some survival instict he could help the other with.

-A. Wants a showdown between the Ants and the Troupe and T. wants a showdown between the Zoldyck and the Ants.

-When it comes to the Troupe i find absolutly hilarious that they barely remember their names but remember Feitan, Chrollo, Machi and Shal at least. Nobunaga is also one of the name they remember but they keep stumbling on it. Meanwhile, I mentioned Phinks at some point and A. didn’t remember who I meant so i said “the guy Kurapika hang off the phone to” and she was “aahhhhh yes, his real impact on the serie.”

-They want Hisoka to show up, just because at least, there’s worse than him in front of them, and regardless of who gets hit, you will cheer anyway. They argue Hisoka’s only quality is that at least he’s the only one to be like himself.

-They called Kite “Legolass” or “The Guitarist” during the full episodes. They love his weapon system.

-They were really grossed out by the ants we met in NGL.. They are cheering to see the Koala again.

-*when Gyro’s backstory started* “Gyro killed his dad.” A: “Well that was completely for free *the backstory happens* A: “ye nah he deserved itn is hxh having a contest for who is the worst dad?”

-They expect Gyro to come back and play a bigger role later.

-When Killua, Kite and Gon fought against the ants from the Lion’s team, Gon’s way to destroy the ant had A. go “this kid scares me”.

-As Pitou appears: “wait so Killua with Cat Ears is an actual character and a villain?”

-They were disgusted by Ponzu and Pokkle’s death. A. especially dislike when you kill couple, so she was upset. They found it really terrible

-When Pitou attacked Kite, they were horrified, but they cheered on Killua’s reaction, they considered it was best to do this this way.

-They were really glad Gon was asleep when Morel started talking to Killua about what they should have done, as they think it would be the kind of things to encourage Gon on a bad path

-When Gon woke up after the Kite attack and immediatly thanked Killua, T. jokingly said “but no homo”. But as the scene kept going, when Killua started to look at Gon the way he does, they went “oh.... he has it bad....” and as soon as he started the “You are Light” sequence, A. actually stood up and grabbed T.’s arm as she went “oh no this is ways too cute!!” T: “Killua is actually in love there oh my god” A: “So this is serious Killua is!! really in love!!” They are not exactly the shipper style, they don’t make shippy comments a lot, and a few times before, they did comment on how Killua looking at Gon was sweet, or how some scenes were really sweet between them and joked a little about it. But there, they were reacting really seriously to the scene, and A. even confirmed “Here I completely see what everyone is talking about when they say Killua is in love with Gon”. I’m s o g la d

-They are not sure if Kite is really dead or no, but they are worried of Gon’s reaction if he comes to learn about it considering how determined he is to save him.

-They are glad Bisky is back!

-They don’t really know what to think of Palm yet, she scares them. They find it neat though that she’s supposed to be an ally while her design is frightening and that say, Hirn, the girl staying at Hyaga’s side, looks super cute while she’s an enemy.

-But they fell in love for Knuckle when he started to cry when Gon and Killua went to fight them, and when they saw all the dogs around him.

-Meanwhile the first reaction while seeing Shoot was from A: “He has no eyebrow.....”. They laughed when they realized he was scared to fight the kids but were feeling pity for him. Meanwhile his power kinda scares them.

-Before the fight against Knuckle, there was a huge conversation about “how can you guess when you put 50% of your strength in your blow, how can you be sure you didn’t put 70% or something”. Once Knuckle’s power was revealed, they couldn’t stop laughing.

-When Shaiapouf appeared, T. went “oh but he’s pretty though, like, he’s kinda cute.” while A. went “this is going to be so troublesome” and I still laugh about it.

-They are really glad to see Netero fight. They say Morel’s fighting is to Smoke Weed while Knov’s is basically Portal.

-They consider Killua to be the most rational when it comes to fighting, but Bisky’s lessons about it made them a little reconsider, and they worry a lot for Killua since then. A. made notice tho that she had the same mindset as Killua when it comes to his reasoning in case of trouble.

-They find Bisky’s way to encourage him understandable but not appropriated and it would just hurt Killua more. When he reacted to Bisky’s “you’ll let Gon die”, T. went “Look at his face it’s too painful for him to hear”

-Also when it comes to Killua’s mental health, A. is getting more and more worried because she realizes what Killua is going through but he never adresses it, and so now, it makes sense it’s adressed, but since he keeps it quiet it makes it even more painful to see.

-The King appeared finally and A. Freaked out because she sees my blog and was sure he was an ally or a good guy, so she seriously didn’t expect him to be a villain, and even less to just kill his owns in the begining. Peggy’s design and the Turtle’s design had been cracking them up since the begining of the arc, so seeing the two of them die horribly had them yell a “oh no!”

-”Please stop killing children why is that happening”

-They thing that there will be a King’s supporter group and a Queen’s supporter group, but we only reached to the moment Colt came to ask for help, and they were just starting to realize a lot of the ants were ready to leave and create their own kingdom.

-We didn’t watch the end of the fights against Shoot and Knuckle yet. A. is hoping Gon won’t pass because she’s scared of what awaits them in NGL.

So as a conclusion, they liked it but are kinda grossed out by the events. They like the new characters for the most part and they still have a lot to see.

We reached up to episode 91, which is so impressive considering they didn’t want to start the serie at first because they thought it was too long and they weren’t used to get into long series like that; But they enjoy watching it.

They are REALLY missing Leorio though and they often bring him up as for how he would probably make sense of the situations at hand in a way that wouldn’t put anyone in danger, and I love them when they do that, I love how much faith they have into Leorio.

So ye that was neat o/

Orange is the New Black (S05E09) The Tightening Airdate: June 9, 2017 @oitnb Ratings: @netflix original Score: 8.5/10 **********SPOILERS BELOW********** And suddenly #OITNB5 becomes a horror film in 'The Tightening'. It's a fitting name and it certainly sounds like either a horror film or some sort of off-brand porno you might find in someone else's secret stash that makes you question just exactly what they're into. However, the latter is definitely not the feeling 'The Tightening' evokes. The opening scene even plays to horror roots with shaky camera work and first person perspective as Piscatella (Brad William Henke) watches the inmates and makes his cat-like moves (as an oversized bear) amongst the darkness along the hallways and corridors of Litchfield Prison. The music, the editing, the slamming of the cage door as he takes Blanca (Laura Gomez) as his first victim... It's all very 'Halloween or 'Friday The 13th', most definitely in the key of a psycho-slasher film in the late 70's and 80's. He even delivers a one-liner that most likely sounds like 'Judge Dredd' in his head. Blanca slowly turns around and I immediately think of Bruce Campbell in 'Maniac Cop'. Bare with me, the horror references are going to be real with this one. The music highlights the horror homages that are running rampant throughout 'The Tightening' and only elevates the terror in our first abduction of the episode. Piscatella has fn' lost it and we all should be terrified. Red (Kate Mulgrew) looks a bit out of her mind... She's certainly doing better than she was when Nichols (Natasha Lyonne) found her with a pencil with human flesh stuck to the end of it, a crowning moment of S5 for sure, but I definitely see why people would have a hard time believing anything that spawns from her brain and connects to words that escape her mouth in the state that she's in for most of the episode. People are going missing and trust me, even in a half revved up/half crashing state, clues are everywhere (whether they're truly there or not)... And if there's actually something to really follow those clues to, the whole hunt can become even more intense than it already is. But who's going to believe the old woman who's out of her mind for the first time ever in her life? A hard boiled Russian who's always had control, or at least always grasped for it in impossible situations as we see in her flashback. Suddenly, she looks like she's slipping from any real state of reality... Out of all people tho, I can't understand why Nichols wouldn't at least act as Red's play-along 'Shaman Guide'. I would think she at least owes her that. Nichols feeds her a 'I'll be right back' line... OMG, they are really going for Horror Tropes in every way they possibly can and I absolutely love it. This is a dream come true for me... A women's prison dramedy turns total Horror Slasher. Somebody pinch me, it's all my favorite genres melted into a hodgepodge of totally off-kilter episode. Piscatella has spent 8 episodes being emasculated and dismissed. His plan may seem half baked, and it totally is, but it does seem like a logical plan (or at least next step) for someone who has control issues. Parallels to that theme with Red can be traced and drawn to multiple points throughout the series, but this isn't the same kind of control. Red has shown that she adapts and makes the best of her situation, always moving, always finding a way to either stay on top... Or as we've seen in previous seasons and as we see in this very flashback, she finds ways to bide her time until a real, honest to God, time to strike comes along. Piscatella is basically having his male ego crushed in a trash compactor, an extremely fragile male ego that already he already intensely struggles with juggling and maintaining his own masculinity due to his sexuality and position of power... A power he clearly no longer has. However, Piscatella is still very much also like Red, in the sense that he's looking for the right time to strike, and that right time is now. Due to this very situation being the closest thing a man like Piscatella can come to 'Ego Death' brushing his shoulders (because he sure as shit isn't smoking DMT anytime soon), he recognizes his opportunity and he seizes his moment, barreling into the prison strapped, complete with riot gear and a full arsenal of weapons. He believes he's acting as a hero, but really he's the 'Michael Meyers' of Litchfield... And let's not forget, he's still under the umbrella of MCC. So whatever happens in there, it could possibly hurt MCC in the end, or at least work against them in some fashion. I personally refuse to believe this show will allow Piscatella to penetrate the walls of this prison during a full on 'Hostile Takeover' and walkout unscathed. Unlike Michael Meyers, or other ghoulish 'Horror Icons' Piscatella is mirroring at the moment, he's still human, he can still be hurt. He can still be killed. He's rogue, and the horror is being played to a beautiful key of irony, but in the end Piscatella is just a man... One man against a hundreds and hundreds of some of the most ruthless women around. I would say, 'Good Luck, Piscatella' just out of habit... But I want to see this mother fucker burn! I'd love to close there, because honestly this is exciting, uncharted territory for OITNB to explore, but unfortunately with this series... Even as great as it is, it can never leave well enough alone. The whole 'Slasher Homage' is a huge plus and for me a great way to keep it fresh and new for the series. Unlike most, I've also been enjoying Angie (Julie Lake) & Leanne (Emma Myles) play 'White Trash Villains Let Loose in Litchfield', they harness the same brand of evil that cartoon Siamese Cats would. Essentially they're just dicks, they are relatively harmless because of their daft intellect, but their wicked enough to cause mayhem and push all the right buttons. While the show means for there to be a layer of comedy protecting the duo in cade of a future face turn, it was straight heartbreaking to see anyone mess with Suzanne (Uzo Aduba) the way they did. Unfortunately for them, they are literally decaying via their own stupidity and consequences as the season charges on. Everyone hates them, but that's exactly what makes them two of the best handled characters of S5 so far. Even Lorna's (Yael Stone) exchange with Suzanne in this episode, as reckless as it was, is a true shot at brilliance as two beautiful mentally ill women empower each other... Just in the worst way possible. Surprisingly, It's Gloria's (Selenis Leyva) storyline I have the most trouble with. I know she's in a bad way right now, and I did appreciate her back and forth with Aleida (Elizabeth Rodriguez), who even in her total bitch mode maintained a level of heart and family values... Like, 'piss on you but good health to your kids' kind of way. Ending the conversation with, "I'm sick of being right about people," was fucking masterful. I just don't buy Gloria potentially risking everything for something she has to know in her heart is never going to happen. There are factors like Linda Ferguson (Beth Dover) leaving Litchfield with a change of heart and Piscatella's 'Jason Voorhees at Camp Crystal Lake' style rampage that act as variables that could create seriously unexpected results, but when I think of OITNB, I just don't think of happy endings... And Gloria is an OG. No matter how desperate she is, would she really risk it all just to be reminded the heavy truth of her situation? Just to have a tall, cold glass, of cold hard reality be thrown directly into her face? I just don't think so... Not Gloria... It just can't be.

How "wild" does Quinn allow Valor to be (in terms of his freedom to fly on his own or stay closer to her)? Since he was a wild animal to begin with, does he have certain quirks that make being his partner difficult to deal with? Does Quinn feed him, or does he hunt on his own for food? How much does Valor rely on Quinn for in terms of care? (Food, physical care and cleaning, mews, etc.)

ok nonny, you’re like the first ask I’ve gotten on this blog for headcannon without any prompting so that makes you my Favorite Person Ever. Just… so you know.

Alright so like I follow the ideal that Quinn treats Valor, for the most part, like a falconry bird. I know I’ve mentioned that before, probably more times than necessary but I’ll break it down here.

Feeding:

For the most part, Quinn will help Valor with hunting by flushing quarry, and feed him through his molts. She takes a pretty hands-off approach when it comes to hunting, and when the pair of them were younger, she got in trouble with Jarvan III for her letting him loose to free hunt. He was known to eat cats. I’ll let you take from that what you will. ;) Now, whenever she’s staying in Demacia City for a time, she’ll take him out for a hunt every dawn unless she has plans. He is a growing bird, but she will take the traditional approach of letting him go hungry if there’s to be a big hunt so as to avoid getting him “fed up” (that is to say, losing his motivation to food). Raptors are very food-motivated, and Quinn monitors his weight and feedings very closely. He will get snacks – “tidbits” – for good behavior, parlor tricks, and helping Quinn with her scouting duties. His typical treats are whole mice, pieces of his last hunt he didn’t eat, and smoked meats (especially fish and elk). Bigger meals can range from rabbits, to mountain rams, to fish (though he’s not very adept at catching them), and when he’s older, anything upward of a ton in body weight.

Grooming:

Valor is fairly good at keeping himself clean, like most raptors, but because of his lifestyle being kept in captivity, Quinn must provide some of his physical care as well. Once a year, after his molt, Quinn will file and shape his beak and claws – a practice known as coping. Even in the wild, birds are known to split their beaks if they grow too much because they are made of the same material as fingernails. Fun facts! Quinn will still check up on him before putting on his armor and after taking it off, just to ensure all the feathers lay flat and don’t break, because arming him in such a manner does protect him from physical harm but runs the risk of breaking an important feather. When he gets into something, she’ll help him pick himself clean so he doesn’t overdo it or give him a wash cloth bath if necessary. Overall, she keeps him in far more pristine condition than wild birds would normally do themselves. He is a war bird, after all. She cleans his armor every time he wears it.

Housing:

Quinn keeps valor in a mew, but he is allowed into the home so long as he remains on a couple of perches around the house or he’s following her around, and only when he hasn’t been fed recently. (Raptor mutestains are nearly impossible to get out, even with modern cleaners on earth, can you imagine the nightmare they’d be on Runeterra? Quinn likes her army-issue house clean, thank you.) She keeps him in longer jesses around home, called mews jesses, so she can grab him easily should he get into anything. His mew is average size for a Demacian scout’s home, so about indoor 20 square yards for their animal and 40 outdoors. Quinn keeps the place pretty nice, though, with branches to perch on, shifty sand to roll in, lots of sunlight and breeze, and dangly feathers from the ceiling. Also bells. Lots of jingly bells. They don’t have much room, but it’s enough for him to spread his wings, hop around, groom, and play. Quinn deep cleans the mew once weekly, replaces the perches monthly, and does a thorough inspection of it yearly. Around the campsite when they’re out and about, Quinn will let him free fly and hunt of his own volition because she has a decent bit of trust in him to obey her commands, and they have a call and response ritual to keep track of each other. More on that later.

Physical Care / Health:

Valor is generally a very healthy bird, but on the rare occasion he catches himself into something, most of the time small nicks or skin infections, Quinn keeps him indoors until the whatever-it-is clears up. I mean, of course another part of physical care is exercise. Valor gets exercised daily with his hunts of course, but also creance training and other exercises in agility like dodging around things and going through holes, much like his master trains for herself. Creance training is like sending him on a leash then calling him to the glove. It encourages his bond with his master. Quinn also tests his intelligence regularly with various enrichment things – making sure he knows his commands, playing with his line of sight (a feathered string is her favorite for this, just like a cat), and puzzle toys for treats. By and large, he gets a lot more “familial” (because Quinn is “momma” to him) attention than a lot of his more wild brethren. This is entirely because mother birds have better things to do than focus all their time on their baby bird, unlike Quinn. Eagles are familial raptors, which is strange considering a majority of raptors are solitary, but Valor sees himself as one lucky birb. Any other Azurite would see him as a momma’s boy.

Freedom:

When Quinn is alone, Valor is flying behind, in front, or around her. Their call and response features Valor trilling once, Quinn whistling once, and back and forth until he alerts for danger (which is another post I should make later when I’m not talking about his lifestyle). This keeps him within range of Quinn to help her should she need him, and her within his range so she can keep track of him for peace of mind. When they are entering a more animal-unfriendly area, Quinn keeps him on a short jess with a hood. In extreme cases, when she needs him entirely contained, for example while traveling on horseback, she will crate him. Quinn always feels bad keeping him cooped up for too long, though, so she’ll always let him out to stretch his wings every so often if she hasn’t let him fly for a while.

Personality:

I feel like this is something that was touched on in the probably-no-longer-canonical-but-still-loved Freljordian expedition. When Quinn had that run-in with Lissandra, she explicitly commanded Valor to fly away home, but he stayed, ready to fight his last breath to defend her. This is the difference between him being a hawk or any other type of solitary raptor. Whereas any other solitary hunter would have left her to die, he stayed, and that’s very telling of personality and relationship. Valor is clever. “Personality” as in “tendency to act out,” he will disobey Quinn when he knows better to obey, like when her life is in danger. Truth be told, I think that’s one of the only things that would set off his instincts. Beyond the occasional isolated incident while traveling or deep in official business at Demacia City, Quinn keeps him with a steady supply of food and freedom, so he’s quite content to stick around. Minor disobedience in the form of him clawing at her gauntlet or fluffing himself in the direction of people he feels personally insulted by the presence of (looking at Fiora, Garen, Jarvan….) is very common. To the point Quinn doesn’t even bother disciplining him anymore for this.

TL;DR, Quinn lets him be as wild as she can for the circumstances at hand. He’s a sassass who really shouldn’t be going on missions with the intent to improve relations, but thankfully he can’t talk so there’s that, and has rude habits only really noticeable by his handler and people familiar with raptors (so Azir probably wouldn’t be too enthused about him in general). Quinn both feeds him and he hunts on his own, but because of his captive lifestyle, he needs a bit more maintenance from his momma than an average birb. Good birb tho, 12/10
