The apprentices not being able to taste honey because cats can't taste sweet things is so hilarious to me. It's wild which cat facts they keep and which ones they throw out. Fun fact, cats are nearsighted and also can't see the colors red or orange.

So I recently watched through all the major StarKid shows that are available on YouTube and decided to rank them from least favorite to favorite. This was really hard because most of them are just so good in their own way, but I did my best.
12. Me and My Dick
Yeah, this one wasn't for me. It definitely has heart, and I like the message of accepting both love and lust as normal and healthy aspects of attraction, but the whole premise was just too juvenile for me to really get past, personally.
11. ANI: A Parody
I had this really sinking feeling when I realized that the characters weren't going to be singing any of the songs. I can respect experimenting with the medium, but it felt less like a musical and more like a movie with licensed music that just happened to be performed on a stage. The plot also felt like a lot of nothing, and while the comedy writing was pretty good like any StarKid production, it wasn't enough to make up for it.
10. A Very Potter Sequel
The Potter musicals are pretty low on this list because I just don't have the nostalgia for them, but even with that in mind, I was a little disappointed with this after the first one. It's still good; it just couldn't "recapture the magic", so to speak. It goes on for too long, and Umbridge and Lucius, while they do get a few laughs, just can't compare to how iconic Voldemort was in the first one. Draco was easily the best part of this show for me.
9. Holy Musical B@man!
Even watching this in a time where I'm growing sick to death of superheroes and even superhero parodies, it's a pretty solidly fun show. Good jokes, good songs, good performances. I probably would've enjoyed it more back in my Mainstream Nerd Culture phase that I went through shortly after this came out, but it's still pretty good.
8. A Very Potter Senior Year
A definite improvement over AVPS. Voldemort is back, and while he doesn't live up to his presence in the first one, he's still pretty great. I'm not sure why this recording is a performance at a con with the actors holding the scripts, but it didn't bother me at all. In fact, it kinda added to the charm. And I'll admit - even though I don't have any nostalgia for these shows - I kinda got a little teary-eyed towards the end.
7. A Very Potter Musical
Even with all the hype behind it, I honestly didn't have very high expectations for this show, but it ended up being lot better than I thought it would be. There's just something so...pure about it. For the group's first production, it's a really good start. Voldemort and his dynamic with Quirrell was amazing.
6. Starship
This one is just really cute and fun. Those first few minutes in I already just had a big smile on my face. The puppetry and sets were really pleasing to look at, and as usual, the songs were great - probably among my favorites. I also love how Little Mermaid-coded the story is. Bug is just such a Little Guy.
(If I had a nickel for every time I got really attached to a character named "Bug" played by a StarKid cast member, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice in one year, right?)
5. The Trail to Oregon
Peak StarKid silliness. It's hilarious, the songs are bangers, and it's all around just a great time. It kinda loses me near the end with all the fart noises, which is what knocks it down a bit, but most of it is such a blast.
4. Firebringer
I don't really have much of a reason as to why I put this show here other than that I guess I just really vibe with it. It has good music and humor like any StarKid show, but I also really appreciate how it's a female-centric story with some sapphic representation, even if it definitely could've been fleshed out better.
3. Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier
This is absolutely the best parody musical from StarKid's lineup, no contest. I may be biased because of how much of a Disney Person I am, but I love all the little references and nods (although the whole "2D department" thing just makes me sad, come on Disney, I am still angrily tapping my foot). It's not only a fun parody, but a really clever and heartfelt one too.
2. Black Friday
So when I first watched this back in 2020, I liked it, but I was a little disappointed in it compared to its predecessor. However, watching it again after some time has passed...it still has its flaws that I could go on about, but its strengths far outweigh them. I was debating on whether I wanted to put it this high because I don't necessarily think it's better than, say, Twisted, but as a Hatchetfield fan, I just simply like it more. It's a really impressive production, and it's grown on me a lot.
1. The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals
This is the first StarKid musical I ever saw, and it's still my favorite. Do I even need to explain myself? It's just a great concept with a great execution. S-tier, 10/10, no notes.

happy munday!
what's your go-to reclist for book series? (asking for a friend, i swear)
The number one absolutely top tier DT pick: the Firebringer Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce. Highly formative for tiny me. Non-human characters form the vast, vast majority of the cast, and it tells the story of the unicorns' reclamation of their ancestral lands (and also learn to not be bigots to everyone around them).
Number two pick: the Dragon Chronicles by Susan Fletcher. This was originally just a trilogy when I was a tiny (Dragon's Milk, Flight of the Dragon Kyn, Sign of the Dove), but had a fourth book (Ancient, Strange, and Lovely) written thirteen years ago. Dragons, and the girls who save them.
Book series that came much later for me in life and I think everyone should read:
Machineries of Empire by Yoon Ha Lee; space opera overthrowing a despotic empire, in a nutshell. Calendar math as a way of exerting actual power and technological effects on the world, which is why said despotic empire is in the mess its currently in. Incredible worldbuilding, fascinating characters, including some you will love and some you will loathe and some you will love to loathe. (Get fucked, Nirai Kujen.)
Dune by Frank Herbert; this includes the original novel plus the second two books in the series, Dune Messiah and Children of Dune. These three books are basically the main arc around Paul Atriedes; Dune itself reads a bit like a traditional heroic mighty whitey story, but the end of the novel plus the next two brutally deconstruct that. Huge themes of religion, psychology, ecology, politics, and the messiness of humans trying to harness all these forces for their various competing ends. Do not read from God Emperor onward. ESPECIALLY do not read anything by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, it's all trash.
The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien; his writing style is absolutely not for everyone, but his themes of hope and compassion even in the darkest times has resonated with me for decades. Every "traditional" fantasy novel is a poor imitator who completely missed the point.
The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson; The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, and The Hero of Ages were my introduction to Sanderson and his absolutely godly ability to worldbuild and foreshadow. A post-apocalyptic world where the bad guy won, a bunch of thieves work to overthrow his empire, and the consequences thereof. Highly recommend Sanderson's other stuff, too, but this is the trilogy that started it all for me.
The Nightside series by Simon R. Green, for no other reason than I think they're fun, pulpy novels. The terrible, dark netherworld of London, where noir meets fantasy and scifi. High literature? Absolutely fucking not. Rollicking good time? Very much so! If you are using your brain to read these books you are doing it wrong.

i’ve been in a starkid mood so: here’s my personal ranking of the team starkid shows so far before i see nerdy prudes must die, because… why not? (my criteria depends on things like writing just as much as it depends on arbitrary things like what random character/song i imprinted on as a teen.)
anyway here is the list:
1. a very potter musical (it just can’t get better than this - even in today’s climate as they truly made a crackhead out of every one of joanne’s characters and plots and since she had nothing to do with the actual production so… fuck her)
2. the guy who didn’t like musicals (this one is, in my opinion, maybe the strongest show writing-wise they’ve done so far)
3. starship (this one was my absolute favorite when i was a teenager and it still has a special place in my heart - i love a good sci-fi trope plus taz as a character and a couple of the songs just hit so right for me)
4. the trail to oregon (i’m not even sure why but this one just works so well for me; 6 cast members, minimal set, nuclear family at the center of it and it’s just… so fucking funny)
5. a very potter sequel (nothing can quite reach the level of hilarity of the first avpm but this one is not all that far off)
6. firebringer (this has, in my opinion, some of the funniest writing; every one liner seems to hit right and that deserves props from me - plus several of the songs are good even out of context)
7. a very potter senior year (out of the trilogy it’s the most lackluster, which makes sense given the changes in things like cast and venue, but it still has that avpm energy that’s just delightful)
8. black friday (this one again definitely shows how far they’ve come with story-writing, but i just wasn’t as invested in the characters or taken by the songs in this one, with the very important exception of the song black friday! that one i think is one of the best songs they’ve ever written)
9. twisted (i enjoy this one as a whole, as a huge fan of wicked it speaks to me and is funny, i just once again wasn’t as invested in the characters or taken by the songs so it tends to fade into the background compared to some of the other shows on the list; i do want to say dylan saunders performs the shit out of ja’far though)
10. holy musical b@man! (this one is just generally hilarious; the whole vibe of the show is just ridiculous and it’s a fun, light watch with a few banger songs, though i didn’t get that much out of most of the characters - i did almost put it at #9 because of the songs and joe walker’s batman though)
11. me and my dick (i’ve only seen this one once and as it was the one to follow avpm, i think i was just kind of bored in comparison - there were definitely funny moments, but i can’t remember a single song if i’m honest)
12 ani: a parody (again, i’ve only seen this one once and i honestly don’t remember much, but the fact that i haven’t felt the need to rewatch it tells me enough - i think i was a little bored throughout watching it the first time)
(really the only ones i don’t rewatch consistently are the last two, so i like all the other 10 shows a lot and numbers 8-10 could really easily be shuffled around between their spots on the list)
what do you guys think? do you agree (are also correct)? did i piss you off severely? let’s discuss!

Got distracted this morning and started thinking about Meredith Ann Pierce's Firebringer Trilogy. All the characters are unicorns and I remember wanting to draw every single one of them.
But browsing the tags for it on here, I realize that there are a lot of folks who enjoy novels with animal protagonists, and haven't heard of the Age of Fire series by E.E. Knight. High fantasy from the dragon's perspective. I read these over and over when I was a late teen and into my early 20s, and I still highly recommend them. Maybe I should draw those characters too 🤔

Wait r u a starkid fan??? (If not then pls ignore this uwu)
I'm gay and on Tumblr what do you think
No but on a legitimate note I've seen just about every Starkid show (not including the Tin Can Bros stuff because I can't fucking find it on YouTube) except for Ani, and I tried watching that but I'm not into Star Wars so it just fell very flat for me. I got into Starkid because of TGWDLM. I love the Hatchetfield series, Twisted, Trail to Oregon, and Holy Musical Batman. I liked Starship (absolutely loved Dylan's song in that) well enough but the ending was kinda bleh, and I just,, was not a massive fan of Firebringer or MAMD. They're fine enough but I probably wouldn't rewatch them. The Very Potter series was pretty good too but with everything that happened with JK Rowling I kinda distanced myself from it.
I ended up leaving the fandom for a bit because of the whole Robert Manion thing that I'm actually still not sure what exactly happened??? My mental health just could not deal with it at the time. But idk it sounds like stuff got resolved so ?? Idk. I know he got removed from NT2 to 'rebuild trust with the team/cast member in question' but apparently people are saying he's gonna come back for NPMD? If he does come back then I hope it's because everyone - including and especially the person he harassed - has agreed that they feel safe with him. I try to be optimistic in general and he did seem genuinely remorseful about what happened so,,, idk I'm not up to date enough to really have an opinion on all of that. It was a dark time for everyone for sure but I hope things are better.
Also I've been thinking about writing some Hatchetfield stuff and maybe messing with a Last Legacy/Hatchetfield crossover. You can throw some ideas at me if you want.
Anyways when NPMD comes out I will become a fucking monster and I apologize ahead of time.
Rant/Spoilers for Black Friday below because I have a lot of feelings about it:
Okay first and foremost I love Dylan Saunders and I love Kim Whalen but the Tom/Becky relationship was so whatever to me that I just,, didn't care about them tbh. The basic idea of it was sweet but idk!! I think the difference between them and Paul/Emma in TGWDLM (who I love) is that Paul and Emma kinda fell in love throughout the story whereas Tom and Becky kept bringing the plot to a complete grinding halt to do their shit. Take Me Back was just lackluster imo.
I loved Jeff Blim (as I always do lol) He is In A Hurry and him?? As fuckin uh??? Mister John McNamara????? ouGH I LOVE HIM 07. He makes me wanna take a solemn vow to become my best self now. I openly simp for him. He's just a fuckin spectral agent in the Black and White now and I hope he's fucking Wiley's shit up.
Also the way that Joey Richter's voice got all gruff when he said 'a gob of fucking lust'??? orz.
As a neurodivergent younger sibling with a well-meaning-but-sometimes-not-the-best-but-still-trying older sister and an abusive mother, Lex and Hannah hit me right in the chest. Especially because when we were younger my sister always talked about leaving home together. Absolutely loved Ethan but why can Robert Manion never survive the fucking show. Reversed!Ethan killed me and my heart broke for Hannah so bad.
My biggest gripe is that tOM SPENT THE ENTIRE FUCKING SHOW BEING LIKE 'OH I HAVE TO GET THIS DOLL FOR MY SON' AND THEN PAUL AND EMMA SHOW UP AT THE END LIKE 'HEY SHIT IS GOING CRAZY AND WE WERE GONNA RUN TO THE BUNKER BUT TIM REFUSED TO LEAVE YOU' AND INSTEAD OF GOING TO HIS SON (since Tim couldn't be in the group because yeah obviously Hannah needed to be there) (yes Tom would have missed the final number but it would have made way more narrative sense to the fucking character arc he'd been going through) HE STAYS AND GETS NUKED AND TIM DIES IN THAT FUCKING CAR ALL ALONE HAVING NEVER SEEN HIS DAD AGAIN AND I AM FROTHING AT THE FUCKING MOUTH. 'IF I FAIL YOU' GUESS WHAT TOM YOU FUCKING DID

Villains
They say that a hero is only as good as their villain, and for musicals I believe this applies doubly so. A good villain makes for a good musical and a great villain makes for a world of art that sticks in your mind forever. That said, there are many types of villains, or more accurately antagonists, across the musical canon, and one type does not innately allow for a more compelling story than any other. Following this rabbit hole, I broke villains from every musical I know (turned out to be over 50!!) into categories depending on the main types I found.
These range from true blue villains (a direct and dangerous threat to the protagonists world, brought about by immorality), antagonistic forces (those who oppose the heroes, without necessarily being evil), the protagonist's own flaws, symbolic villains (characters that represent an idea), wider system villains (similar, but more based on social systems), and finally musicals where there is no villain, or the villain WAS SOCIETY!!!!
Anyway, see what you think and let me know if theres anything you'd add, change or swap. Have I forgotten any major villain types? Do you like my grouping?

I’m having feelings about Firebringer and Good Omens
What I meant by this post: They’re both stories of the first humans, of seeing the world for the first time, ‘We’ve got to figure it out, we’ve got to find ourselves some answers, we are people now’, of taking risks and setting out to do something new even though you’re not sure if it’s good or bad, of new things (fire and flaming swords!) being both good and helpful and also dangerous and harmful, of people working together not in spite of being different but BECAUSE of it (’Together’ is such a good song for ALL ships), Crowley and Zazzalil both questioning things and sometimes it backfires but sometimes it doesn’t!!, ‘that, my friend, is the spirit of human ingenuity. It comes from the need to be lazy’, also ‘Just a Taste’ and ‘Paint How You See Me’ are just super cute songs that frankly I want to apply to everyone right now, ‘Into the Night’ leaving the cave for the first time during a storm because you can’t stand not knowing what more you could have! Leaving the cave and leaving the garden!! The beginning of humanity!!! They both tell the story!
What I also meant: If it’s Aziraphale who gives humans fire in Good Omens, then Aziraphale is Chorn

Starkid Show Ranking
So, for the last few months I’ve watched one Starkid musical a weekend. Best few months ever! Some I hadn’t seen in years and some I regularly see at least 3 times a year. A few I liked even more than I remembered. So here is my new ranking for which I like best! These are just my personal faves. Not saying which ones are best just putting in order which shows I like best. I think they’re all great!
13) Ani: A Parody
A genuinely good show. I love characters like Obi in it but I just don’t know jack about Star Wars.
Tumblr media
11) Black Friday
I love a lot of the music. It has some really great moments.
Tumblr media
10) Holy Musical B@man!
I did not give this show a chance all those years ago when I first watched. Maybe because I wasn’t big on batman. I am a huge Superman and DC fan in general though and the last rewatches I’ve had I’ve really enjoyed it! Love Superman and Batman’s dynamic. Really fun show with great music.
Tumblr media
9) Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier
Love the Wicked vibes. Never really been an Aladdin fan but I really like this show. Jafar and his wife’s story breaks my heart every time.
Tumblr media
8) The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals
I love the fact it’s a horror comedy. The music is so good. It makes me laugh and cry. Great introduction to the Hatchetfield series.
Tumblr media
7) Firebringer
This show has a very special place in my heart. It was my mum’s first introduction to Starkid and she’s been the one person I’ve got who’s been watching Starkid with me ever since. We make so many references and it’s all thanks to this show! We watched it about 20 times the year it came out. The music is phenomenal, the family aspect of the show makes it feel like home.
Tumblr media
6) Trail To Oregon!
So my Nanna forced us to watch Little House and the Prairie with her for many years and this show has strong lhotp vibes. I feel such a warm feeling when watching this chaotic family and the musical is awesome! I cannot express how much I love the mother especially.
Tumblr media
5) Starship
This show is freaking hilarious. The characters are great and the story is beautiful. It was one I didn’t give a chance at first, given the space theme but I wish I’d done so earlier on because it’s really awesome.
Tumblr media
4) Me and My Dick
I loooove this show. It’s hilarious and heartfelt. It gives me such nostalgia. I love all the characters with all my heart. I love saying lines from this show and confusing people.
Tumblr media
3) A Very Potter Senior Year
Another heartfelt musical. I just cry at the end. I just love it so much.
Tumblr media
2) A Very Potter Musical
This was my first introduction ever to Harry Potter! And this trilogy was all I knew of Harry Potter for many years after. I now love hp and the starkid version but the starkid version of characters and Hogwarts will always be the real characters and Hogwarts to me. I was so confused when I first watched the movies and then the book. Some stuff I thought starkid had straight up made up. It was one of my first Starkid shows and will always have a special place in my heart. I love the characters so much it makes me emotional. They mean so much to me and a lot of them are my all time favourite characters in anything ever. I just want them to be happy! It’s hilarious and the songs are amazing.
Tumblr media
1) A Very Potter Sequel
Love this show so so much. I cry with laughter every time as I do with all the trilogy but especially this one. It’s one of my favourite things in the world and is in the top 4 musicals ever for this musical theatre nerd right here. The music is beyond totally awesome. I can’t express how much I love this show and this musical trilogy.

overall, I have to admit I’m extremely happy with this season. I think Starkid really took notes of how poorly they had previously handled their female characters and performers and made it a point in this new season to put them at the center of the narratives. we got a lot more positive interactions between women and girls than before, we had more empowered female characters taking action and going through changes and affirming themselves and their values. we had some women who were very good people, and some women who were very shitty people, and a lot of women who were a bit in between. I think every episode except Daddy passed the Bechdel test (and even then, only because Jaime Lyn played two men), which is a sign of a solid positive trend. there was so much variety in personalities, goals, values between all female characters, and all of them got the room to interact with one another and have arcs of their own that didn’t make the men the focus point like every other Starkid story before except like maybe The Witch and the Web and Firebringer. I think Nightmare Time 2 is a solid masterpiece of a season and I can’t wait to see where they’re going with this universe in the future!

Ranking Starkid/TCB Musicals based on how often I think they say the title of the show
These are just guesses cause it would take literal days to actually go in and count all of them*
13. AVPM, AVPS (I don’t remember them ever saying the full title)
12. Firebringer (“all said Zazzalil the Firebringer” is the only time I recall the title being said)
11. AVPSY (title is said several times in the song Senior Year)
10. Trail to Oregon (I know they at it a few times even though I can’t think of specific examples, most of the time is “the Oregon Trail”)
9. Holy Musical B@man (only really said in the title song but it’s repeated a lot)
8. The Guy Who Didn’t like Musicals (also said a few times in the title song but not anywhere else in the show)
7. Me and My Dick (said a lot in the opening song and has a few reprises in act 2)
6. Twisted (sung a lot in the title song, especially in the villains echoing)
5. Spies are Forever (sung ~3 dozen times in the opening song and the phrase comes up periodically throughout the show)
4. Starship (Starship rangers are mentioned literally every few minutes in the show)
3. The Solve it Squad (sung repeatedly in the song as well as just constantly being mentioned throughout the play)
2. Black Friday (ironically it’s never sung in the title song but it sure as hell is everywhere else in the show)
1. ANI (it’s literally the main characters name)

Hi........if you don't mind me asking, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (canon or non-canon)? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....
Hi, sorry for not answering sooner.
I'll start with my favorite Canon couples
Wei Wuxian x Lan Wangji (MDZS)
MXTX invented romance when she wrote SVSSS, and perfected it when writing MDZS. The fact that WWX is my favorite character ever helps too. They are a perfect couple, I love them. Love them with their kids. Give them all the kids.
Luo Binghe x Shen Qingqiu/Shen Yuan
Are they problematic? Yes. But it's not like MXTX didn't notice some things LBH did were kinda messes up. It's a flawed and interesting relationship, but they truly care about each other so much. LBH is my second SVSSS character, and that "I hate myself for not being able to get anybody to stay" line always get me. And that Q&A extra is perfect, an underrated gem. I'll write a post about it someday.
Tianlang-Jun x Su Xiyan (SVSSS)
My third and fourth favorite characters from SVSSS. We didn't have much of them, but what we had was great. An ambicious, cold and ruthless human woman and a carefree, romantic and kind of naive Demon Emperor, how can someone not love it? The Demon Emperor acting as the classic, steryotipical, romantic young donzel, and the human acting as a Young heir from a rich family. She takes him to plays, buya gifts and essencially act as his sugar mommy. Love this dinamic. Also the teasing between them. Not to mention all the angst.
Michaela x Clarith (Evillious Chronicles)
The sad tree lesbians. The most wholesome relationship in EC. Do I need to say something else?
Amy Santiago x Jake Peralta (Brooklyn 99)
Yes, I'm aware of the problema of this show, but I still live their relationship. What's worthy to point out is the fact that I didn't ship until they actually got together. There wasnt anything special before, seemed really cliche that they would get together. But I love their dynamic when they're already together. Mostly because I was afraid it would fall into that trap where the writers doesn't know what to do with the couple and how to keep the story interesting, so.they start to include unnecessary love triangles, cheating, drama, and so on. Avoiding this made Peraltiago really refreshing
Zazzalil x Jemilla (Firebringer)
Rivals to lovers. My first Canon gay rivals to lovers. And both of them had valid points of view that seemed opposite, but actually needed each other to be complete
Lelouch x Shirley (Code Geass)
Yes, from all the girls who are romantic interests for Lelouch, I ship him with the most normal one. But It just gave me the vibe that Lelouch wanted to be with her. The tragedy is that he coudn't, even if she didn't die. She was part of a "normal" life that Lelouch had to gave up of in order to achieve his goals.
Now, for my fanon favorite ships
Gai x Kakashi (Naruto)
I talked about my love for Rivals to Lovers. But what about Rivals AND Lovers. Gai got close to Kakashi after Kakashi lost everyone he had loved, took him from that state of loneliness. And they were showed together at chapter 700, showing they remained close and that their relationship is important.
Sal x Larry (Sally Face)
Their friendship was precious and perfect. And, in my defense, they were not step brothers when I started shipping it. And I completly missed the HenryxLisa happening in the backround when I first played.
Sal x Travis (Sally Face)
I know, I know, the "homophobic bully is actually gay" is a cliche by now, and a problematic one. But there's some merit to the Idea of a gay teen being raised in a conservative family and being emotionally damaged for that. It's a thing that happen. Assuming that every homophobe is secretly gay is wrong and takes away the blame of the people opressing us, but internalized homophobia exist. And Travis was just a teen. Also, I'm soft to the Idea of Travis falling in love with someone who's kind, rather than someone who's atractive. I think a lot about that note he wrote.
Zuko x Sokka (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
I can't really explain, but I love this concept so much
Cassandra Cain x Stephanie Brown (DC comics)
My girls. I love them so much. Every scene of them together is a treasure. Their personalities match so well. Also, batfam is the best part of DC, and I won't hear any argument saying otherwise
Lapis Lazuli x Peridot (Steven Universe)
I loved their relationship living together, they were so cute.
Bruno Zero x Gallerian Marlon (Evillious Chronicles)
I love them and I love them together. Bruno is underrated and Gallerian is my favorite from the seven sinners.
Lukana x Lilien x Rajih
They are in a Poly relationship and I'll die on this hill. I love the three of them traveling together trough the world and raising a child.
Xue Yang x Xiao Xingchen (MDZS)
Another messed up ship, but I can't help being captivated. XY feel for the first person who showed him kindness and that gives me feelings. There's Also this line from A-Qing
“They used to often night-hunt walking corpses, sometime in the past. Now it’s usually ghosts, animals that behave weirdly, and so on.”
XY did horrible things, I can't find the words to describe how twisted it was how he tricked XXC into killing inoccent people. But this line from A-Qing implies he stopped. On his own. That doesn't take his blame away, but it's worthy noticing. He stopped, he showed no signal that he would have told XXC the truth If SL had not showed up and A-Qing found out the truth. Even after killing SL, he seemed to have the intention to come
back to his pacific life, only when It was all already falling apart he told XXC the truth, but only after trying to get XXC to sympatize with him.
Liu Qingge x Original Shen Qingqiu/Shen Jiu
Rivals to lovers is great. All the misunderstandings that tainted their relationship. LQG judged quickly and SJ refused to fucking explain himself even when he really should. LQG saw the world in black and white, and SJ was too gray. LQG was absolutely loyal. Once someone has his loyalty, he would fight the most poweful being alive for that person. He would fight over and over, despite knowing the result. He would start a war with one of four great sects. And I'm sure there's nothing SJ would value more in a partner than someone who would never abandon him.
Original Luo Binghe x Original Shen Qingqiu/Shen Jiu (SVSSS)
I said in previous posts that I believe Bingge loved SJ and that they were originally meant to get together, before Airplane shifted the genre for money. But that's for it's own post. SJ is my favorite SVSSS character. And this ship has some much potential, to dark fics, to angst, to fix-it fics, there's variety.
