Thank you for the tag @theredontbedragons! Sorry, I rambled horribly in my answers. Apparently this hit me on a chatty day.

Last song I listened to: Uh, technically Lipstick on the Glass by Wolf Alice to check it out lol (and it is a banger prev). Prior to that it was INVU by Taeyeon.

Currently reading: What We Keep by Bill Shapiro and Naomi Wax. Just something that caught my attention while browsing the library. I've always been interested in the journey of objects and how relatively insignificant items can hold such meaning to one person but lose that meaning once separated from their stories. It's a quick read, should be a one sitting type of deal but I got interrupted and just haven't picked it up again to finish it.

Currently watching: Alone. It's an American docuseries of ten survivalists dropped off individually in a remote area who try to live off the land as long as possible. Honestly, not my usual type of entertainment but a friend recommended it to me and it's sucked me in. I'm learning a lot about wilderness survival (something I hope I'll never need lol) but also it's a study in psychology and what being utterly alone can do to you mentally. The underlying theme of the show (at least for me) is gratitude and distilling life down to what really matters: food, shelter, warmth, and loved ones.

Currently obsessed with: Kingdom: Legendary War (NOT the same Kingdom that gets tagged on this blog lol). A Korean show from a few years back that took six pop groups and had them compete via special stages. I watched it for the first time around Thanksgiving and it hasn't left my head since. The overall show is a bit of a drag with waaaay too much filler and sketchy voting. BUT!!! What these guys (and staff) did with limited time: two weeks to rearrange a song, learn new choreo, costumes, sets, all with a limited budget? While some of them were also doing the circuit promoting current releases at the time too? When did they sleep? Impressive. I've been rewatching some of the performances on loop for months. Are they perfect? No. There wasn't time for that. But they have an undeniable heart and passion for what they do and each stage is a hell of a good time.

michael's happiness as a topic :P

oh yeah i love talking about stuff that doesn’t exist!

jk i actually think michael made real progress with it in s2. Like when look at him at the start of s1, He was so sad. he had nothing, cared about no one (except for max and iz but he didn’t care about them right and alex but we know that wasn’t a source of sustainable happiness, at that point.) I think a lot of what happened in s2 put him in the right path. He was confronted with his anger and his love for max, and he got a lot of very nice scenes with isobel. he got to learn more about his/their past. he got to make choices for himself regarding his relationships, got to let alex know him better and differently, got to chose to be with maria too and to have that loving relationship with her. got to know there’s people who care about him unconditionally 

like we’re not there yet but it’s a nice journey. he probably would need therapy and stuff but lmao 😭
