Yuzuru and Javier participated in FaOI 2019. For the photoshoot, Javier poses as a matador and Yuzuru pretends to be a bull. During staring at female players, they still held each other.

I will try my best to not sound like Those Fans (tm), and please feel free to just ignore this if you deem plain unnecessary (cause it kinda is), but after rewatching FaOI footage - we’ve been fed so good this year, so much stuff! - I’ve been finding a little bit weird fans projecting a relationship between Javi and Yuzu that is probably more cordial than anything at this point 💀

I’m only saying this cause the shippers have been awaken, while some others are doing the exact opposite (hating?), and we literally have nothing, just a pose for a picture.

I guess people were really attached to them before.

There’s so much stuff with JW tho, we could have done less with that lol

I think the "problem" is that their relationship has always been, how can I put it, talked about the wrong way too loud by the wrong people? For so long you could only hear shippers or haters. It's been so hard to find a middle ground, which I feel can be easier here on tumblr.

To me their relationship hasn't changed much aside from the fact that they don't train or compete together anymore. They've remained friends, they're very happy to reunite whenever they can and they will always hold a special place in each other's hearts. That's how I see them.

I personally like their interactions a lot because 1) they're super cute and Yuzu is always glowing, 2) it's a throwback to all these years at competitions being idiots on the ice, 3) i miss the time where Yuzu had a friend he could rely on every day on the ice and I think he does too. Nothing major happened since GPF 2019 and the infamous "I wish with Javi too" to make that change no matter how the Beijing TV spot blew up.

They have history and a lot of people are attached to it that's for sure.

I very much agree on JW and I have decided to just ignore the man and anything I see him in 😁

Oh wow I have no idea at all about the next shows... He might keep Real face? Or has he said he was skating to something else and I missed it?

According to the artist, this is "A gift for Hanyu" (羽生くんへのプレゼント), Hanyu will be in the first pose of SEIMEI and Javier will be in this pose of the man of La Mancha. (羽生くんはSEIMEIの最初のポーズにして、ハビエルくんはラ・マンチャの男のこのポーズにします。) He said: "I'm making this while imagining that Hanyu will look at it and say, 'That's Javier!' and happy to see it." (羽生君が見て「ハビエルじゃん！」と喜んでくれることを想像しながら作ってますよ)

Yes it seems as Yuzu will only do FaoI this season. It's starting soon. 😍

If you mean with "his" show "Continues with Wings" yes this was a one time show in 2018. It sadly never made a reappearance.

I think Javi and Yuzu's last show together was FaoI 2019. After this non-Japanese skaters weren't invited to ice shows for 2 years because of the pandemic and FaoI was also canceled for two years. This off-season is the first time non-Japanese skaters can return to Japanese ice shows.
