yeah. s.o.b. almost had me institutionalized.

i literally don’t remember the context but he read something i wrote on fb and called me that night in a panic and told me to call some hotline (it wasn’t the suicide hotline, though). he asked me if I was going to cut myself or something like that. he threatened to put me into rigorous therapy and that “we’ll help you with this and finding people you like” (to this day, i still ask, “we?”)

this was 2019, too. i hadn’t had thoughts like that in almost 7 years at that point.

he talked my ear off for about ten minutes, too. he’d talk about being ~a lonely soul~ and disconnected from the world and what have you: i couldn’t relate to it at all because i wasn’t a moody-ass teenager in a trailer park. and the point of reaching out to someone who needs help is you give them space, not blabber on about yourself and your fucking family for minutes at a time. he never did. i got probably six words in.

i remember he did this with me every night for a week after that and it was kind of funny because every time he did it, i would always be doing something while on the phone so i wouldn’t be properly paying attention. but after seven nights of it, i finally said, “alright, jeff. i can’t take this.” and that was it.

he doesn’t seem to understand me, and i don’t think he ever did, either.

and then he’s left scratching his head as to why i distanced myself from him and did it again last night. absolutely psychotic.

Not to get the wrong takeaway from that whole post but Calvin and Katie Stockdale really watched Chris Evans in Knives Out in 2019 and walked away with a new baby name

💀 this ask made me so curious bc it seems like there is no other explanation.....it's the same weird name, same year the movie came out, obviously they just must be huge Christian Knives Out fans.

but then i got the insatiable need to know for sure so i googled the date of the official Knives Out premiere in the US:

and then I searched around on facebook to see if that family had made any public birth announcements in 2019 (bc that picture made it seem like they were definitely facebook people) and there weren't any but the dad Calvin did make a public profile pic change to this pic of him with a newborn on the underlined date:

which is BEFORE IT CAME OUT. So unless he and his wife went to the Toronto Film Festival like a week or so before she gave birth, or he randomly changed his picture to a newborn photo of one of his other kids right before he had his last kid (and made it one of his only public fb posts for some reason), it looks like it's probably a coincidence?? And they don't live in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, it looks like they're currently in Michigan per Calvin's job.

anyway I just thought that was a wild coincidence and am upset that this baby isn't named after a Knives Out character (probably).

Babe if you can't complete Kassam route before the deadline, someone called Sound something covered every single scene of his route. Anyway, congrats on getting the 🦄 I tried it but alas.

yes, SoundNo3485 on reddit ! i have mad respect for their dedication in covering so many different routes. especially with the bugginess of the OG app (and all the damn ads, because the airplane mode trick doesn't work. that's the only thing i like about the new app) they've posted scenes i've never come across before, it rlly amazes me how detailed season 2 was.

kassam was my LI while s2 was airing, so i managed to unlock him back in 2019 ! (time flies, doesn't it?) after that, i couldn't get it to open again , i've always just dragged him back to the villa. so i'm like, ridiculously happy i unlocked his route again lol

if you (or anyone reading this) want to unlock kassam's route: there is a guaranteed method of getting him . unfortunately it's extremely time consuming (FB is so trifling for only giving us two weeks notice) the game is glitched out so the "actual" way of getting him (being a shy/chill MC) is pretty much impossible, but we can use those glitches to our advantage. what matters is the casa guys' heart scores, nothing else. hearts from previous playthroughs get stored in the game's cache, so:

before casa amor, play however you want, seriously, you can do anything. (if you're wondering what i did, i was with rocco until he gets dumped, then i was with henrik. unlocked marisol's route, fixed all the drama, didn't participate in operation nope)

once you're in CA, wear the free outfits to prevent getting hearts from arjun and felix . pick all the mean options for them too, you'll need to get a bunch of frowns (when it comes to carl, i think he always likes MC ? at least in my playthroughs he does, but i pied him off as well just to be careful)

flirt with kassam and elijah at every opportunity. yes, both . their routes are connected for some reason. more importantly, elijah has to be your bed partner if kassam's route isn't unlocked. if kassam rejects you, you'll most likely be stuck with arjun or felix, whichever casa guy has been hounding you the most. it's way easier to get on elijah's route, even if he doesn't say your name. as long as you pick all his heart options, his route will open during the speed date . (i like elijah too, he's such an underrated LI)

pie off elijah when he eventually starts talking about bringing him to the villa (sorry luv) choose kassam for brunch and then drag him to the villa, keep increasing his heart score for a few days. another important thing, if you care about scenes being out of order, don't kiss, don't do bits, don't take gem scenes for alone time. blah blah blah. his first kiss is where he reads your palm. his first alone time scene (on the swing) he talks about taking in the moment/meditating (imma be real, idk what the steamy scenes look like cus i don't pick them lmaooo🖤🩶🤍💜)

the unfortunate and time consuming part, you have to hit the "restart show" button. one time! no more than that. some people on the LITG subreddit have had luck with just restarting to day 14, i'm not one of them . you can try it ofc, but it's very finicky. restarting the show works 100%

again, play however you want. (i pretty much did the same stuff as my 1st playthrough, except i was with lucas after rocco leaves) while you're at it, check for signs that heart scores carried over. one immediate way i was able to tell is: in my completely brand new playthrough, i picked the shy and neutral options, so bobby didn't step forward for my MC. second time around, with thee same exact choices, he did.

once you're in casa, kassam and elijah will be the ones that say your name ! yay ! wooo. i cheered when it was elijah staring at MC instead of felix . there's a funny scene during the speed date when you're on their route. elijah lingers after the buzzer goes off, kassam walks up to yall and tells him to move. anyways, ask kassam to share a bed and he'll say yes . unicorn acquired

the full story of how I got Reggie:

Calypso died in early Nov of 2019. By the end of Jan 2020, I was starting to feel ready for a new cat or cats.

I made the post on my FB about looking for a “used orange cat” and my friend Angie who works at a vet hospital on the south side saw it. Not four days later, I got a message from her about an orange boy they had at her office who was looking for a home. She explained that they had a deal with the city of Carlisle, just south of Des Moines, to help rehome strays their PD picked up.

Angie sent a few pics of the cat and said he was very friendly, and healthy apart from needing a couple teeth pulled. I made a trip down to the south side to meet him. I had used this particular vet hospital before, when Trinity needed the radioiodine treatment for her hyperthyroid.

When I met the cat, he was such a love, let me hold him, not shy at all. I was honestly convinced that he belonged to someone, and that I shouldn’t get my hopes up. He was in the middle of a seven-day waiting period to be claimed. When I got home, I even searched on some Iowa missing pet sites to see if someone had reported him lost.

A few days later, I got another message from Angie. As no one had come to claim him, the sweet orange cat could be mine. I made arrangements to pick him up after work on the 4th. [edit--the caucuses were on the 3rd and I had preemptively taken PTO for the day after, and it came in handy] I bought a few supplies so he could have his own bed that didn’t smell like the old cats, and some wet food since he had that broken tooth. Before I left the clinic, I made an appointment to bring him back for the tooth extraction in a couple days.

I took the cat home and set up a little area for him in the same upstairs bedroom where Trinity had rehabbed after an operation. He had a litterbox, food dish, water bowl, a cat bed, and the pineapple house. I played with him and let him settle in. He enjoyed going behind the curtain so I put the cat bed behind it to give him a place to sit.

In my original FB post I had made a joke about wanting a cat in “size XL,” as Calypso had been a pretty big cat. But as I looked at this new boy, I thought about how small he was, or rather medium-sized. I remembered a gag on the Birthday Boys TV show about variety show acts named “Big Reginald” “Little Reginald” and “Medium Reginald.” So I gave my medium-sized cat a medium name, “Medium Reginald” or “Reggie” for short. I did a cursory google for orange+cat+Reggie and was delighted to learn that one of the animal actors who played the orange in Captain Marvel was named Reggie.

The timing, of course, ended up being particularly auspicious, as before long I was at home all day, every day, giving us plenty of time to bond together. He recovered well from the dental surgery, and he was doing well on the wet food, so I decided to keep him on that since I was always home to give him breakfast and dinner. I slept upstairs with him for the first couple weeks, then slowly started introducing him to the rest of the house.

We’re coming up on three years together and I’m so glad it worked out the way it did. Sometimes I feel his little toe beans and think about how rough they were when I first brought him home. He was not meant for the streets; he was meant to be my little son and friend ❤️❤️❤️

After the first images revealed in October 2021, it was widely reported that the world's first two-seat poaching developed by China's Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group was moving to enter service in the China People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). New images of a second prototype of the biplace stealth jet appeared this week.

The prototype number 2031 has already been replaced by PLAAF's silver gray standard low visibility paint, and now aircraft number 2032, still with the factory yellow primer, apparently recently left the production line and started taxi tests.

The second prototype emerged in a short period of time, which also shows that the J-20AS is not a simple technical verification project, but the first improved submodel of the J-20 fighter that the Chinese Air Force and the aviation industry should focus on on development. After a series of prototype verification and test flight work, it will proceed to completion and installation and enter service at PLAAF's hunting unit along with the single seat version. Judging by the details of prototype No. 2 that no longer has the large pitot tube in its nose, it should be used mainly to test weapons, including avionics, with the basic flight performance test flight being made by the first prototype.

The designation of the new aircraft remains uncertain, with the J-20S and J-20AS being used to refer to it, although the latter seems more likely considering that it is based on the structure of the J-20A that replaced the original in production in mid-2019. The main differences are the use of Chinese WS-10C engines to replace Russian AL-31FM2 engines, providing greater reliability and supercruise capability, as well as reductions in the cross section of the aircraft's radar and several improvements in avionics.

The double seat variant should not be used mainly as a trainer, but rather to accommodate weapon system officers for functions such as drone control, command and control and operation with air-to-ground weapons.

While the direct American analogue of the J-20, the F-22, was initially planned to be developed in a double seat variant, with ordered F-22B prototypes and a bomber fighter variant also considered as the FB-22, these programs were canceled. The production of the fighter was prematurely terminated in 2011 as a result of its extremely high maintenance needs and operating costs, as well as comprehensive performance problems.

Where the U.S. has failed to further develop the F-22, ambitious plans for the J-20 are already taking the design well ahead of its rivals, including the development of attack derivatives and electronic warfare that are likely to use the biplace version as a basis for development. The J-20 is currently being produced at a much higher rate than any fifth-generation twin-engine fighter has ever had, and probably never will be, with the F-22 canceled and the Su-57 with a low production rate, both lagging far behind, leaving the F-35 as its only next-level competitor.

The two poachers, which are the only ones in the world currently in production and in the field with force at the squadron level, saw their first meeting confirmed in March 2022 and are effectively at their own level in terms of sophistication among fighters. The smaller size of the F-35 made the development of a biplace unfeasible, however, and unlike the J-20, continuous performance problems prevented it from being approved for large-scale production.

What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up? My main motivation was the moment I realized I might need to buy size 16 pants. It was a wake-up call. What kept me going was the noticeable improvements in how I felt and looked. Seeing positive changes in my body and overall well-being gave me the drive to continue, even during tough times.

How did you change your eating habits?

I changed my eating habits drastically. I stopped eating a lot of French fries, pizza, pasta, and sweets – basically, foods that were my go-to before. Initially, I still allowed myself some treats but made healthier choices. Working with Kurt at Brooktree Consulting was a key part of my transformation, where I made more disciplined dietary changes.

What is your workout routine? How often did you workout?

I used to frequent the gym at least five days a week. My routine began with warming up on the bike, followed by a session of weight lifting, and concluded with running on the treadmill for an hour. Step aerobics was also a part of my regimen. 

However, this changed when I started working with Kurt. He advised a different approach; initially, he scaled back my intense workouts and had me focus on simply walking every day for several months. This period was dedicated to establishing foundational habits. Once these habits were firmly in place, we gradually introduced a more structured and well-planned cardio routine, along with strength training. The specifics of my workout routine vary according to Kurt’s program, ranging from a 3-day to a 6-day split.

What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?

My weight once peaked at around 211 pounds. The lightest I’ve reached was approximately 137 pounds. Ideally, I feel my best when I’m around 143 pounds.

How tall are you?

I stand 5’4″.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?

I was able to achieve my goals naturally and without surgery.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?

I began my journey in 2019 and achieved my lowest weight about a year and a half later. However, the transformation journey continues, evolving through different phases. It started with initial weight loss and has now progressed to a focus on strength training. My current goal is to build lean muscle mass while reducing body fat and maintaining a stable overall weight. Therefore, the transformation from 211 to 137 lbs took just over a year, but my journey toward improved health and fitness is ongoing.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of a balanced lifestyle. It’s not just about exercise or diet alone; it’s about getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, being mindful of what I eat, and seeing food as fuel rather than just something for enjoyment.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?

Be consistent and honest with yourself. It’s important to find a balance that works for you and to make changes that you can sustain in the long term. Also, don’t be afraid to seek help and guidance from professionals like Brooktree Consulting.

FB Burn AND Best Body

I was experiencing SO MUCH mental drama about what exercise should I do that I decided "screw it--I'm not ready to commit yet to either the Weightless Program and/or Ballet Beautiful exclusively." Because life happens--I can't not eat sugar for the rest of my life. And most unfortunately I can't have a ballerina body if I'm not a ballerina. I can work out like one (like ballerina Mary Helen Bowers, for instance) but I'm not her.

My data shows me that (1) I have increased 3% body fat since 2019 (and 1.5% since I started Ballet Beautiful two-ish weeks ago) and (2) my measurements do decrease when I follow a varied workout plan like FB Abs R2. I think that if Ballet Beautiful worked back in 2020 was because I started from a lower fat percentage. Since then, I gained weight, fat, and attempted following the Ballet Beautiful program several times, but none got me to my 2020 body. So, for the time being, I'm starting FB Burn R1 & R2.

It's bittersweet for me, however. On the one hand I want to lose weight, on the other hand, I want to feel as elegant as a ballerina.

But at the end of the day, I don't need to be a ballet dancer to be elegant. Elegant comes from the latin word for reading, so I decided to come back to these all-embracing, ethical goofballs.

Anyway, I decided to go back to basics all over. I prefer to lose weight on my terms and if that includes a croissant on Sundays, it shouldn't make me feel so guilty and sorry for myself. Having said that, I am going to do my best to become a mindful eater.

if I truly followed the 80/20 rule (i. e., if I have 3 meals per day, that means 21 meals per week, out of those, 4.2 [4] meals have to belong to the 20% category while 16.8 [17] must belong to the 80%. If I had 3 meals + 1 snack, 5.6 [7] would fall into the 20% and 22.4 [22] to the 80%. I am also thinking about following Jordan Syatt’s advice for a while—3 meals and 2 snacks, the meals have to fit into a plate, the snacks into the palm of your hand and can be either a fruit or a piece of protein).

A couple of posts ago I mentioned this. And today I listened to this "The Last 10lbs" call on Best Body. If it's worth it for me to lose these last 10lbs (actually less), I have to really pay attention and be focused. So my determination of being mindful is key here. I have to put it into practice now.

While focusing on these non-scale victories.

Let's talk Kegan Kline. This is what really bothers me. Kegan is the guy who made a fake account called Anthony Shots. He or one of the many people he allowed access to the account was the last person(s) to have contact with Liberty German (Delphi murder victim) that day. Supposedly this person was suppose to meet up with them. There is no coincidence getting catfish by a predator online, but to get killed by another predator the same day.

Kegan's name came up quickly in the same month that the girls was killed because of the account. That's how he got caught with CSAM.

They found out that Kegan did weird searches right after the Delphi murders like trying to figure out how long DNA lasts and TRIGGER WARNING: Sandy Hook victims --- like trying to look at the bodies of dead children.

BUT GET THIS: The police let him go.... THAT LET THIS PREDATOR GO. He wasn't arrested for the CSAM charges until 2 years later. Theory is that they let him go because maybe he knew who bridge guy was and they was going to use Kegan as bait.

2 years later 2019, a few months after the press conference and the new younger sketch guy comes out, Kegan finally gets arrested.

2 years later again 2021, little did anyone know at the time, they questioned Kegan again about the Delphi murders. They told him they knew someone else was using the account and they believe he knows who it is... They questioned him a lot about his father too who has a criminal past and was abusive toward children.

December of 2021, a late night bizarre L.E. commercial was aired asking the public if they knew anything about the Anthony Shots account. They already knew who was behind the account, yet they asked the public if they knew who was behind it.

Not too soon after that Kegan Kline was revealed and than the transcripts started coming out well into 2022 about him being questioned about these murders.

August of 2022, Kegan was taken to a military base and a day or two later, they start searching the Wabash River. It was a 6-week search. That is definitely no training exercise. This search went onto September. Supposedly they checked someone's backyard in a fire pit at around the same time.

2 weeks later, October of 2022, they are on Rick's tail and had a search warrant done. Next thing you know he is arrested.

Every time we got a Richard Allen update, we got a Kegan Kline update about his pending charges.

And wouldn't you know, the prosecution witness list has Kegan on it.

They are definitely connected somehow.

I was watching another podcaster the other night that said that supposedly Kathy Allen - Richard Allen's wife - had a family member that passed away. She was trying to get the account memorialized. And supposedly someone hacked into their FB and was trying to talk to young girls on there.

Could it had been Richard Allen in the Anthony Shots account?

Sounds like it too me. I guess we'll see when it comes out.
