Notes: The way this author describes Nigel’s obsessive personality in this is perfection and his gradual interest in Adam is gripping! There is -of course- protective Nigel because I’m weak for feral bois beating the snot out of the poor souls who thought messing with their partners was a good idea.

Summary: Prompt: (Gen or slash) After Beth leaves Adam, he thinks about how to deal with everything on his own - selling the apartment, packing for California, communicating with people there - and decides to post an ad on Craigslist. He’s looking for someone who can “take care of things” for him - things that are “messy” and “complicated”. Nigel answers the ad, expecting to be hired as a contract killer. He ends up becoming a very odd version of Jeeves.

Notes: This is one of the most humorous fics I’ve had the pleasure of reading, because who doesn't like a bit of miscommunication between a guy that just wants to have help moving and a gun for hire? Not to mention that Nigel and Adam’s interactions are top tier!

Summary: An innocent trip to the museum turns into an unexpected adventure flipping Adam's world upside down when he's tricked into being the drop man for a double-cross exchange between a thug and the guy stealing his wife.

Notes: A Spacedogs Bodyguard AU that was such a good read that I couldn’t help but add it to the list! Adam and Nigel are characterized so well and the way that they gradually warm up to each other is so on point! Plus there’s also a fair amount of protective Nigel, which is always a perk.

Stiles' head whipped towards the werewolf. He couldn't see much of him apart from his red eyes, always following Stiles. Crazy as it might sound, it comforted him. The werewolf wasn't the rabid animal Elis seemed to picture. He was just... hurt.

Notes: One of my favorite fics of all time! The characterizations are on point and I just can’t help but love their interactions!

“I didn’t see anything!” Stiles shouted, both hands out in front of himself and sweat instantly breaking out across his skin. “I swear to you! I didn’t see anything! I didn’t see anything! I won’t tell anyone! I won’t! I’ll keep this to myself, until the day I die! I promise! I promise!”
