Bonus pics of birds that have been visiting my window lately.
Lots of great tits chirping all day long! It’s hard to take pics that are not only of their butts, cause they are pretty shy and fly away if they see me!
And two (or the same twice?) acrobat crows.
Hanging the food from my living room window was a good idea! Sometimes they do not see me through the glass and I get to see them very up close, I could spend hours there (I kinda do...)

Today I met the pregnant lady again, (the b/w kitty in the first two pics) who was very nice at first but then gave me some mixed signals. I guess I should know better than to stop petting a cat who is clearly enjoying it!
I also played a bit with the b/w fella in the last pic, the same I met and played with a couple days ago. He’s really nice, he lets you pet him for a bit and then makes it clear that playing with sticks and leaves is what he is really into. I think we’ll make good friends!!
It’s so nice to walk around my new neighborhood, as it is a residential area where only a few cars drive by and there are so many cats in the streets. It also helps that Dutch houses have those huge windows where all the cats like to sit and do some people watching!

I met lots of kitties today! That middle one was so cute and funny! He probably had a recent operation cause part of the fur on his butt was shorter. He was very cute and cuddly anyway! Much unlike the Red Devil himself! He is definitely someone's pet, but spends a lot of the time outside. I think he naught be in some kind of pain, because he does not like to be touched on his body, and he will let you know by suddenly and violently lashing at you. I know this, so I always pet him only on his forehead an cheeks. That is what I did today, but apparently that also was a NO for this time, and it resulted in blood! 😹 The kitty was around after that and did not otherwise change his behavior, so he was not scared or angry at me. I did offer my hand and slowly pet him on his nose after that and he seemed to like it! Weird kitty! [1 May 2017. Utrecht.]
