Narcissa accidentally and reluctantly befriending all of the Gryffindors?

Narcissa is staying late in the library, when she notices a very stressed Remus, when she eventually asks him if he needs help (she claims it’s her duty as a prefect) he claims to have missed a big test due to illness, so she helps him study and stay on top of things.

Narcissa notices Regulus hanging around James Potter a lot, and so when she sees him after quittitch games, she tells him good game.

Narcissa hangs around Dorcas a lot, so when Marlene begins to join them, Narcissa treats her with respect as she would anyone, trying to ignore her house and family name for the sake of her friend.

Frank notices her stealing glances and Alice every now and then, he knows that Alice likes her, so he starts to invite Alice to group studies and game nights.

Narcissa see’s Severus begin to give his long time friend crap for being a ‘mudblood’ and as much as she intends to keeps her bloodline clean, she’ll take any chance she can to annoy Snape, so she’ll put him in his place every now and then, before giving Lily a wink and waking off.

when Alice and Narcissa start seeing each other in secret, Alice one day suggests inviting her along for a hogsmeade trip, everyone agrees almost instantly, except for Sirius, who’s wondering how all of these people know his cousin so well.

after my last alicissa fanart my head has birthed a whole medieval au. allow me to show you bc i need to share.

alice has been training to become a knight for years, and now that she’s 21 she has almost finished her training. as a “senior knight”, one of her duties is to keep watch on younger trainees, in her case, james and sirius (thank god she has frank, another soon-to-be knight, helping her). since they are roomates, only these three boys know that she’s actually not a man (women weren’t allowed in the knights bc medieval times yknow), and eventually they’ve become friends.

and as her friends, they deserve to know about the beautiful woman she’s met in the forbidden forest.

in the neighbouring kingdom, narcissa is aching. one of her sisters ran away from their family, and the other has been married off. her only company is her younger cousin, who’s still suffering his older brother’s disappearance, that left him alone and with the weight of being the future heir on his shoulders.

being her only family left, she tells him about her meeting with a charming woman in armour in the forbidden forest.

chaos ensues. drama starts. the good shi 👌

All over my blog I see microfic accounts for all these lovely ships, and I sit there in silence waiting for daily microfics of all my rarepair faves, and today I gave up waiting and decided to make a blog specifically for MARAUDERS RAREPAIRS!!

I’ll be posting daily prompts per month for writers (and artists if you’d like!) to use to come up with fun little scenarios of our beloved odd parings starting May 1st.

Hopefully, this will bring more attention to the rarepairs so we can get more fics about them!

All rarepairs are welcome, no matter how odd, excluding pedophilia and incest. These micro fics can be NSFW if you’d like them to be, but just make sure to tag and warn correctly so people who aren’t interested in the smutty stuff can dodge it.

All you have to do is tag @marauders-rarepair-fics on your microfic (or fanart) and tag it “#marauders rarepair microfic” so people can easily find it, and your fics will be reblogged to this page!!

Since rarepairs aren’t a huge thing in this fandom, this may take some time to take traction, so any reblogs and interaction with this account would be killer so our fellow rarepair lovers can find us. plenty of people talk about harry and luna being siblings because of pandalily raising luna (and, usually, jegulus raising harry) but not once have i heard someone talk about nobleflower raising neville and draco (+ frank co-parenting).

can you imagine draco and neville as brothers? a true snake and a pure gryffindor shoved under the same roof (this also applies to their mothers)? it would be chaos

not to mention that draco and narcissa are such drama quees. it takes a month of neville consistently using narcissa and alice's bathroom because "draco takes too long to do his hair" before the two of them are given their own bathrooms. they find something else to argue about within a week.

this family is always late to things. neville is literally the only one who is ready on time. he'll be waiting at the door thirty minutes after they were supposed to leave while alice is rushing around cleaning (she lost track of time) and draco and narcissa are getting ready. (narcissa can - and will - be ready in five minutes if she needs to be, but she believes in being fashionably late. draco truly cannot spend less than an hour on his appearance every day.)

neville and draco's last names are "longbottom-fortescue" and "black-fortescue" respectively. secretly they love sharing one of their names.

they have been brothers since they were two, which is when alice and narcissa moved in together. though they have full custody of both boys, frank is always hanging around, and in lucius's absence he's become a father figure to both neville and draco.

neville is too nice to gossip on his own, but draco is a terrible influence, and the second they're in the same room you know some tea is gonna be spilled.

alice is "mum" and narcissa is "mother". alice is the fun parent and narcissa is the slightly crazy one who buys her children $20,000 watches for their half-birthdays

alice is jewish and they celebrate both hanukkah and christmas every year.

neville and draco can practically read each other's minds. they have twin telepathy except they're not twins or biologically related. nobody really knows how, but if one of them is sad on the other side of the castle, the other one knows immediately

they actually really care about each other. they fight a lot but it never means much.

just. so much potential here, guys.
