Let me just say, Happy Monday. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Most of you have heard about #gamechangersmovie, which I can glean from along with @theinvisiblevegan movie on #primevideo. Child... I gotta do differently. I have been eating not so great for a lot of my life and I want different results, so that calls for doing differently. It started July 1st and I must say that it has been a snall stomach challenge, so any of you that have transitioned over and can give me some suggestions please do. #plantbased lunch! Stole the idea from @flygirlcourt . @bocaburger turkey patty, vegan mayo, chipotle Tabasco, fresh avocado, diced radish, @parmelacreamery shredded cheese, nutritional yeast, jalapeño and a side of kimchi, cause I love that stuff! Celebrating week #4 of attempting to be full on vegan, and I have never felt better, physically. It’s really helped with my joint pain and inflammation as well as stomach issues. I credit @gamechangersmovie to lighting a fire under me to start this new venture. Now there have been two very successful Gamechangers Movie premieres, one on the west coast and one on the east. This guy pictured with me is Nimai Delgado, one of the nicest badasses on the planet. This guy has never eaten meat in his life... and look at the protein deficiency! Haha. He’s also an IFBB pro weightlifter. This was snapped at the Gamechangers premiere last week in Hollywood and last night was the NYC premiere of this awesome film. If you haven’t seen the film, it comes to theaters for one day only on September 16. There might be some tickets available but LA looks close to sold out (link below). Vegan meal! It was awesome at Boston Pizza. Vegan burger...really really good. I know right! Me....vegan?!?! Well... I’m definitely aiming to move towards plant based wholistic eating....especially after watching @gamechangersmovie #gamechangersmovie it’s all science based, backed by studies and years of documentation...basically how any animal based product is not good for you! Who knew?!?!? Considering I, like many others who have a post secondary degree, a few (as in a lot of) post graduate degrees/certificates in health and wellness with specific courses in nutrition and have spent about 90K on formal education and shocking...it was not accurate information that I paid a shit load of money for. And as time goes on and more studies are created, and science expands new truths will come to surface. But the evidence is clear....plant based food is better for humans. Live longer and without illness. Just watch the movie yourself. Do the research yourself. Educate yourself. I am finally leaving the Climate Strike DTLA and it was SO inspiring! The generation coming up is very conscious and highly activated. They know reality from fiction and they want a world with a climate that is tolerable not only for themselves but for future generations. When you have leftover lentils and leftover rice, you have the basics for meatless meatballs. Easy-Peasey Meatless Meatballs 3 cups lentils, 1 cup cooked rice, 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 1/4 cup tomato paste or catsup, 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 tablespoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix all together and form into balls. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes in an air fryer, or 20 minutes in an oven, or until desired firmness. Serve with marinara over pasta.
