more of her. the creature
phigros office concept i did a while ago, but this is definitely not a final thing. id probably try something darker and more colorful instead of this, and probably add more matching things in general, like bows or something
kinda trying to keep the butterfly/ribbon shape thing going in the armband and collar. also the skirt and socks are meant to match the beret, idk if its obvious though lol

Zebra Dove (Geopelia striata)
"This bird is actually pretty common in my area. I just think nobody would think of these little guys first, and that they’ll fly under the radar. So I am banking on everyone having a blind spot to the commonest birds <3"
"their calls are described on wikipedia as 'staccato' which is? so specific and wild lmao"
A small dove of Southeast Asia, the zebra dove is... fairly unremarkable. If only because it does what doves do best- look cute, eat seeds, make a very basic nest and keep on looking cute! They are frequently kept as pets outside of their native range and escapees have set-up populations in other countries such as Thailand, Hawaii, and Mauritius (the Dodo's home island)- as well as many other places. In Indonesia the dove is becoming rare due to trapping, but it continues to thrive in other parts of its range.

Peaceful Dove (Geopelia placida)
Peaceful Doves are relatively small pigeons that feed on the ground in places such as paddocks, beside roads, and in gardens. They are closely related to the Zebra Dove and the Barred Dove, and up until recently they were classed as a single species.
