Autistic Hunter Week, Day 1: Shared Interest

Hunter's main special interest is mechanical engineering and tech, and he shares that interest with Belos, from whom he got a lot of his knowledge and skill. He has been fascinated by the subject from a young age, and continues to pursue his interest in it. They're discussing some schematics here.

There's also been a couple design updates for both of them, like Hunter's shirt color and a slight change to his overalls, Belos's scar shape and droopy left eyelid, and his dress being a lighter blue. It'll probably be tweaked again later.

And I'm super late for my own prompts, yay.

Good Belos idea, when Hunter was about 6 or 7, he and belos would make little stories together. Hunter would ramble about anything he could think of, and belos would right it down and turn it into a story with a genuine plot. When they finished writing the book, belos would read it to Hunter as a bedtime story

I was thinking of an idea for toh au that maybe Philip's curse grew sentience and became Belos. But it doesn't know it's the curse instead he thinks Philip is, and so he tries to protect Hunter from Philip. So Hunter has a good loving Uncle and you still have your main villain. And you can say he gain sentence by ambient magic from the palisman or maybe guilt or a combination of both, and the reason he thinks he's Belos because of the fake memories. Also this could work with the reason that Hunter thinks he's half a witch by Philip making a fake memory of his brother befriending a human and having a child with her.

Another pen doodle. Like a cat, Belos likes chin scratches. Sometimes.

And the hand is Luz's. While they were stuck in the Human Realm post-Day of Unity, she found out that Belos can purr - he did it to comfort her while hugging her, knowing it can help reduce stress, and she loved it. He usually tries to keep this ability secret, but chose to use it to help Luz. He followed his dad/uncle/grandpa instinct of Comfort Sad Kid.

The doodle either takes place around present day, where he's more comfortable letting the people close to him do this, or it took place in the Human Realm, and the reason he's making the kitty face is because his face just Does That when someone scratches his chin, at least sometimes.

Either way, he's sitting down and she's standing, hence the angle of her arm. Also he should've probably had dark circles under his eyes, definitely so if this took place in the Human Realm, but I don't wanna add them and retake the picture.
