Ok right. So, my thought process for this concept is clear--or so I believe it is. What I've attempted to do was make Grian capture Scar's presence and get absolutely *stunned*. He shouts his name to no avail, watching his soulmate chase after a fairy or cupid in this scenario. A sudden flash reference back to 3rd Life, where Grian stands firmly on top of the sand beneath his feet. *The ring fight*. To which the lyric follows, "how could you be so cruel?" after Scar collapses to the ground.

#i cant say i hate the entire genus of solanaceae genus since i couldn’t give a damn about whatever tomatoes got goin on #but i can say FUCK datura and FUCK brugmansia. they’re both virtually the same but brugmansia has these stupid ass center petals #that datura doesn’t and i was This close to settling for datura if it wasn’t for brugmansia’s nickname ‘angels trumpet’ being cuter compare #to datura’s ‘devils trumpet’. anyways where was i- oh right the actual design #yeah his flower is brugmansia if that wasn’t obvious enough. as for his bird i chose white wedding doves #the outfit isn’t inspired by any one thing i just searched up ‘angelcore outfits’ chose a cute dress and went from there #if it were my choice i actually *wouldnt* have given him clothes since he was originally inspired by cupid hence the heart arrow bow #but! alas. i felt that would be weird to literally anyone else so i didn’t do that #definitely would’ve given him a gun if given the choice. we’ll see #digital art #artists on tumblr #illustration #mcyt #hermitcraft #grian #[.art]

hey ignore this if it's a bother, but I'm brand new to hermitcraft and wasn't sure who to ask! but I'm curious if you know where some of the original fanon accepted designs or features for the cast came from-- stuff like skizz being an angel? I figured grian's came from his pesky bird arc in s7 but some of the fanon designs are harder to find the origins of.

so a LOT of fanon designs come from some combination of “some canon aspect in the past”, “a bunch of artists personally thought this looked cool”, “one SPECIFIC artist thought it looked cool and a lot of people picked up on it”, “a fic thought it was cool and a lot of people picked up on it”, and “their actual skins or irl appearances”. as such a lot of them don’t necessarily have one specific origin! as for angel skizz: it’s a combination of him being impulse’s bestie (and demon impulse being popular), him picking up a fanon cupid imagery when he wasn’t in double life, a number of life series moments giving him a bit of a martyr theming and imagery (and artists RUNNING with that in limlife), people thinking the design looks cool, and personality. so no one origin made it popular, but a combination of things, I think!
