Well, Marc&Jake’s relationship aren’t so simple I guess, in some way it is similar to the Marc&Roro’s but in other way it’s not.
1. Jake isn’t ready to open up to M&S. To people in general. He’s cautious, It is safe when he’s playing adult’s role, it’s like a mask, a shield from the real(adult) world, but when M&S figured out he’s a kid he feels too exposed to them. Too open, too easy to hurt. I feel like he doesn’t want this affection from them because he doesn’t really know how to be a loved child? So he doesn’t know how to respond to it. As I said here Jake never have met Wendy, he doesn’t consider her as his own mother. Thus, all his behaviour&attitude is based on Marc&Roro’s playtime as children. That’s why he’s so into this roleplay of a badass guy))
2. Jake actually misses Roro. If Steven had no idea about him, Jake considered Roro his own brother. It’s the only thing in Marc’s memories he accepts as his own. Marc(Jake) loved Roro so much that he(Jake) adopted this love for art from him(similar to Steven and his accent, I suppose). He also inherited Marc’s feelings of responsibility as an older brother from that time, so Jake’s not used to be the youngest. Therefore, it’s quite an experience for him to adept to this whole new dynamic with S&M. He pushes them away feeling like he shouldn’t can’t rely on them.
Absolutely love this idea of a bunk bad for M&R!! It fits so well! saw it in this concept art for MK. It’s amazing. Like, I think Roro was a very sensitive kid(he looks rueful when Marc calls him a baby for being wary of playing in the cave while it's raining), so he’s afraid of dark and not sleeping with parents SOOOoooo Marc took the bottom bed and have told him, that he would defend him from any monster who would be stupid enough to try to attack them! He also hung all Roro’s drawings there, because he’s very proud of him)
Ahhhh my heart aches for them. I spent half of my childhood on a bunk bad like that, my siblings and I plastered it all over with stickers, there were glasses of juice everywhere lmao, loads of thrilling books on shelves, we used to do a blanket castle on the bottom bed and read some stories with a flashlight
I feel like it’s the thing Marc&Roro could do.. I wish they had more screen time in the show..

ps even though Jake doesn’t want this affection, he needs it just like any other person, just like any other child. He has a hard way ahead of him. Comics about the table thing was one of the first steps:)

kaveh's kid does absolutely end up being good with their hands, whether that's because of the time they spent with the forest rangers or simply because they lean in favor of artistic hobbies, and kaveh himself? he is overjoyed. the fact that [name], his [name], seems to have some inherent inclination towards the arts... archons. he loves that about them. it's like they were always meant to be his child.
he loves that his kid's first instinct is to run to him when they have a sort of creative breakthrough. he loves that their first instinct is to tug him by the arm and show him what they've made, even if there's still wet paint or clay on their hands because really, it's just a shirt. it can be washed. stains are just stains. he honestly understands on a very personal level; he gets paint all over himself, too. things happen.

this happens multiple times on many different occasions, but kaveh's reaction never becomes any less enthusiastic. it doesn't matter what may be occupying his mind at that moment. he treasures their openness and could never so much as imagine disregarding their joy in moments like that. he always replies with a smile, wiping away a little bit of semi-wet paint that somehow ended up on their cheek.
kaveh only ends up smearing it more, but the gesture is sweet and appreciated nonetheless.

the idea is Simon's pregnancy was a huge red flag, their birth was catastrophic, pb was sure the world was gonna end, and then simon... just gave birth to a four eyed human baby lol.
i will say that despite their appearance they are very not human. they are desperately interested in the adventures of finn, marceline and pb because they don't have any powers (winks) except for being seemingly unable to document in any way, which is more of a passive ability. (like.. an anti-meme almost?)
they feel this need to be great, you know?

In all honesty, I never thought this would get this far... It all started with some silly ideas from an avid bookworm who began to see herself reflected in her favorite character and got extremely excited every time she saw him with a book. And, from then... it all came alone, more or less. I've totally poured into Luigi (and the whole post) my own feelings when reading and fangirling over books, for you BET I'm also extremely intense when I'm enjoying a good novel. I simply thought that Luigi would act the same, since I have in common with him that I also get emotional very easily and experiment my own feelings in a very intense way. And it only makes me feel all the way more connected to my beloved boy in green 💚💚💚
So thank you. Thank you for your enthusiasm (I didn't expect that there would be so much anticipation when I shared my teaser post a few days ago!), and for welcoming all my ideas with open arms. I totally enjoyed writing them, and it was definitely something I needed after everything I went through last month. These headcanons have helped me connect with Luigi (and the whole gang) again, which means I totally feel like writing fics again and I just couldn't be happier because I've missed it so much! 🥹🥹🥹 I really hope you're ready, because some of the HCs I've shared today will definitely become written works in the future! hi!! this may be a weird thing to ask about but ive decided to make one of my longtime ocs a coyote therian (they were connected to coyotes since the beginning) and i wanted to ask if theres stuff i should avoid when talking abt them or doing character design?
ive done some research on my own looking thru tumblr blogs ran by therians mostly, but i mightve missed some stuff!
for now they show their theriantophy as either wearing a coyote looking onesie (which is the first outfit they ever had) or when wearing other clothes they have a tail keychain on their trousers, so i also wanted to ask if you know of any other things they could have to connect with their theriotype?

(1/2) Hello! Not a weird question at all, I’m actually very honored and happy you’ve asked! I have quite a number of OCs myself that are also therians or otherkin adjacent lol. Also if anyone else has any ideas they’d like to add/advice feel free to comment or reblog!
As for things you should ovoid I’d recommend straying away from the idea of therianthropy being inherently because of mental illness. While it’s totally okay for your Oc to struggle with mental health problems or other serious topics. I often see the stigma online where people assume being nonhuman or having a alterhuman identity means the person in question must have Schizophrenia, Dissociative Identity Disorder, psychosis, a delusional disorder, etc. And again while I know plenty of nonhumans who have those disorders (I have some of them) and that may effect their identities as a whole, it shouldn’t be the end all be all of their identity you know? Ovoid adding more stigma to both.
Another thing I’d stray away from is the idea of a character being a therian because of spirit animals or any mythology related to closed practices/groups. I’ve seen many indigenous people online speak about their discomfort with the word ‘spirit animal’ and how it’s been adopted into pop culture. Being alterhuman is much more then “I feel connected to this thing/this thing is just like me”, it runs much deeper then that and it is as much as a real identity as something like gender, sexuality, religion, etc. It should be taken with as much care and seriousness as those other identities because it is huge and important part to a lot of our lives.
Lastly I’d recommend avoiding making the character the butt end of the jokes. While the Oc themselves can be funny, have funny things happen to them or have funny experiences as a coyote Therian I’d ovoid making them the punching bag to other OCs. Online it’s not uncommon to see many people misunderstanding and mischaracterizing being nonhuman for a quick laugh. It be very disheartening if an OCs entire existence in a story is just “haha they think they’re a dog, that’s stupid”. Again it’s important to take any identity like being a Therian seriously instead of just being the punch line for a joke or gag.
As for the clothing I think the onesie would be incredibly cute and good to wear as well as the tail! Many therians wear tails, both real and faux fur ones, to feel connected to their identity and feel more comfortable. I’ve also known many therians who were things like jewelry with their theriotype on it, fake animal ears, t-shirts, rings, fur coats, earrings, pins/buttons, etc. Some also like collecting plushies or posters with their theriotype as well, or having stickers on their books or drawing them. Or if you’d prefer a more casual character design you could have a character who doesn’t wear any outward Therian gear and prefers to keep it low key. Both options are very valid and would be interesting to see!
But no matter what I’m sure your Oc is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to see them! Please tag me if you make any art or stories about them, or if you have any other questions feel free to ask again or DM me!

12. Favorite fic of the year: Hard to say but I've been enjoying a lot of the Tickletober works specifically by @lovelynim and @ticklygiggles, and also this Nimona fic by @bambinella has become a fav, and all RWRB fics by @kourtniwritesagain!!!!! I still need to reblog them here.
13. Favorite ask game of the year: I can't remember which ones I played, but I remember there was a time I had reblogged "post your anonymous confessions" or something, and it resulted in the most interesting asks and conversations with you guys^^ I liked that.
14. My top achievements as a writer/artist/creator/blogger: If I'll be around in a year, this won't be 'writer' but 'blogger', but for this one as a writer, it'll again be completing all 31 days of tickletober right on schedule despite a minor intervention.. :"D

ੈ✩ Sena Izumi is honored to be your main source of inspiration for your artworks. Even before you told him, he had always appreciated your works but had the odd feeling that he had seen things that are awfully similar before. So when you did, he was surprised.
ੈ✩ You explained that some of your portraits are inspired by his photoshoots, while the rest are inspired by the Izumi you see every day. Portraits inspired by everyday Izumi mainly depict his actions and personality - elegant and attractive. On the other hand, portraits that are based on model Izumi are typically painted to resemble the Izumi seen in the photos - professional and very detailed.
ੈ✩ If you're having problems coming up with fresh ideas or are just stressed, he will always offer to assist you in any way he can. Need a break from painting? He's already making your favorite drink and snacks. No motivation? He offers going out together or simply cuddling! Need inspiration? He is already finding his entire collection of modeling photographs. He might occasionally even pose for you!
ੈ✩ Izumi also secretly takes pictures of you when you are working on your portraits! He does it when you're not paying attention, like while you're focused on painting. He peers over your shoulder and uses his phone to take a picture of you and the portrait. You eventually find out and question him. Embarrassed, he explains that he wants to post them on social media to showcase your talent. It is entirely up to you whether or not to allow him to post them; he will respect your decision.
ੈ✩ Izumi thinks you're a fantastic artist and tells you so every time he sees one of your pieces. Although you've been together for a long time, he still finds it difficult to believe that you can capture every aspect of him. He loves how your portraits showcase both your and Izumi's talents - painting and modeling, respectively. Every time he sees you working on a new piece of art, he feels his heart race. He may act a bit tsundere-ish around you but seeing the end product makes his lovey-dovey. Please be patient with him if that happens. He simply adores them in the same manner that he adores you!

What? No! I-I'm not blushing!"
ੈ✩ Tomoe Hiyori was very impressed when you first showed him one of your portraits. He continued by asking you about the materials you used, the time it took to finish the portrait and your source of inspiration. Similar to an interview, it was. He wasn't expecting you to say his name when you got to the part about what inspired you. It took him some time to process what you had just said. He felt his blood rushing to his cheeks. He then tenderly clasped your hands and gushed over how delighted and honored he was.
ੈ✩ At first, Hiyori could come off as a little narcissistic, studying the portraits to make sure you've captured every detail about him. He lectures about how his beauty must be captured in every portrait. At first, it was frustrating, but you gradually understood that it was just Hiyori being himself and that he doesn't mean to hurt your feelings. Besides, he loves displaying your portraits at events and often tells his fans that you, his wonderful partner, painted them.
ੈ✩ Because Hiyori thinks it's important to take care of oneself, he constantly reminds you to take breaks. As much as he loves seeing the finished product, he cannot bear seeing his partner under a lot of stress. If you ignore his words and keep working, he will become upset and will not hesitate to drag you away from your workspace. You won't even be able to do much once he reaches this point, so expect him to take this as an opportunity to spend time with you. Hiyori enjoys taking you out and will buy you expensive food. He also enjoys buying you expensive gifts as a way of expressing his gratitude. If you choose to stay in, he will spend the time cuddling with you and won't be ready to let you go anytime soon. Forgive him for being very clingy, please. He just wants to show you his love!
ੈ✩ Overall, Hiyori is very proud of you. He appreciates how much work you put into each portrait and is impressed by how skillfully you paint. He observes how you patiently work things out and how well you plan everything. If it's okay with you, could you teach him how to paint as well? He's open to trying new things. He would love to spend more time with you learning about your skill!

Many thanks to @moogleterra for tagging me in this year in review thing! Time to go over my favorite fics I shared in 2023! (not tagging anyone, but if you read this and want to play along, consider yourself tagged!)
Like a Broken Record
I wrote this at the beginning of 2022 and was super nervous about sharing it, mostly RE: shipping Takatoshi with someone who wasn't Okino, but I was both really proud of how the fic turned out and the lovely support from everyone who read it!
To Cultivate Anew
I just had a lot of thoughts about the physical marks Throné and Castti acquired that link to their trauma and how utterly beautiful it would be if they got tattoos together to cover up those marks.
High Score
I loved all the keinatsubj fics I wrote for polyship week, but this one was my favorite!! Not only was it fun to envision the summer festival they attend, but all the delicious pre-poly feelings with Natsuno being engaged to Keitaro while also seeing BJ in his human form for the first time were a BLAST to unpack. Plus garmmy's art for it is SO CUTE.
In Good Company
I wrote this for a server exchange and loved exploring the complicated sentiments around working for a shitty corporation, but you've got bills to pay. And nudging Reeves and his personal assistant closer and closer was utterly delicious too!
What Leads You Here
I'll never shut up about this fic. I'm really proud of this one 😭 it's the super angsty post-canon story I wanted, but couldn't find anywhere after I beat the game. But now it exists and it warms my heart to know others enjoyed it too.
On Your Honor
Star's medieval AU gave me severe brainrot and I couldn't help but write a follow-up where these two take their noble/knight secret relationship to the next level.

Again, I loved all the Ignatz week fics I wrote, but this one is my favorite. Just exploring his relationship with his family and what home means to him, all while he learns archery.

I wrote this for the Tifa Zine! Just some bittersweet feels with the group as they set up their camp, share stories about the stars, and support one another.
Coming Out of My Cage (And I've Been Doing Just Fine)
Another server exchange fic! This could've easily been a 50k novel and I did my best to shove it into a 3k ish oneshot. I love a good AU and reimagining Legend of Zelda in a cyberpunk vs solarpunk setting was so much fun.
Random Access Memories
And another server exchange fic, but I've had this idea in my head since 2021. So glad I could finally bring it to life, bc there's literally nothing out there exploring Natsuno's grief mid-canon over losing someone very special to her.

Okay, first of all, I'm truly honored you think I could be a full time writer! I told my bff & coworker Emily, who is a professional copywriter, that you sent me this message and she basically told me to never become a full time writer because it sucks all the passion out of writing 😂
That being said, her job as a copywriter is a lot different than the job of like, a novelist or something, and I think writing books could be really fun! I know some fanfics get turned into novels, and that is a very exciting prospect for me, but I'm not sure how I would actually feel about that when it came down to it, or if it something I would want to do.
This year, one of my goals is to write a novel-length fanfic inspired by this idea.
I mostly write in second person, which is apparently not a very marketable perspective for books. One of my greatest joys about what I do here is that I am able to create a story that you all can fully immerse yourselves in and have a deeper connection to. The only reason I started writing in the first place is because I had such an overwhelming love for Malleus and Leona, I needed a medium to express that love through. If I were to actually write a novel length fanfiction that was successful enough to get picked up as a book, I'd have to change so many details to avoid copyright, and I'd have to choose an actual descriptive MC... If it came down to it, I don't know if I would turn down such an offer, but I would certainly have to think through all the pros and cons. The main goal of making profit off of this would be so that I could continue to write fics and pursue other artistic endeavors that would bring me endless joy and fulfillment in my life. Regretfully, I don't have any other book ideas besides things that are inspired by TWST, since MalleLeo occupy too much space in my brain to make room for OCs or other arcs.
Unfortunately, I feel like writing is a lot less profitable than art. I wish I could sell my fanfics in cute lil hardcover books in a similar vein to how artists sell keychains of their faves, but I don't even know if thats something people would want. It would be uncharted territory and D*sney would probably try to take me out.
Another concern is AI and the uncertainty of what the art industry is even going to look like in the next few years... I am lucky that AI writing is not currently very good, but who knows how that is going to change. Before I became a writer and started writing fics, I used to be a lot more concerned for my friend Emily's writing career. However, now that I truly understand what it means to write, I feel a bit more secure against the AI. Line by line, every word I choose to speak, every concept I choose to employ, every direction I send the story in is meticulously crafted... an Erica Original™️. The computers can steal my writing style, but they can't steal my thoughts and my brain... at least not yet (knock on wood). I mean, with writing, there are only so many combinations of words and phrases that you can use. What matters is now is how I, a human, choose to use them. Right now, AI just does what is predictable. I could have a tender moment happening one second, and choose to send Malleus flying off a cliff the next second—and I'd still create a cohesive story that kept y'all on the edges of your seat.
Last but not least, I am a Software Engineer, and I also have a mortgage... the mortgage makes it harder for me to take financial risks, and I would need to make close to how much I'm currently making in my job to feel comfy switching careers... 😅

Hello! I am here for the 500 follower match-up event! First of all, congratulations on 500! You are an amazing blog!
Could I possibly have a Twisted wonderland and Obey Me match-up? If you only do one, you can to the Twisted Wonderland Match-up.
I am a female ISFP-T personality person and I have no ither ways to describe me better. I am certainly NOT a people person. I bond better a little bit with my family but hardly anyone outside of that. My star sign is Aries, but it feels like I'm supposed to be the complete opposite! My favorite season would have to be fall, especially later in the season when I get to bundle up with blankets and have hot chocolate.
I have ginger red hair with grayish blue eyes and slightly freckled. Sometimes I like playing connect the dots with said freckles when j get bored. I love art and painting especially. My hobbies include playing video games, preferably MMORPG games, making tassel blankets and hats (really anything with crafts), swimming and cooking. I prefer savory foods over sweet, give me a good medium well steak any day and I am sold.
I am certainly more of a homebody and really don't like to go out anywhere unless if I really need to, which is really only for work or to buy crickets for my pet leopard gecko. I love reptiles and cats! An odd pair but I love them to bits!

This realization came after I did some research on INFP's. They like to go with the flow, but also keep the people in their life happy, and to date Leona, you really have to be willing to go with the flow. Mans is the original homebody. He's on a whole nother level. I think you'll be alright, as long as you promise to never leave his arms. He just wants to cuddle! 🥺 And while he's not always great at verbal reassurance, he will get better over time, and then nothing will stop him from proclaiming how much he loves you.
He will melt if you make him a blanket. At first he'll pretend he doesn't care, but then you notice it's the only blanket he uses anymore. You wouldn't have expected Leona Kingscholar to be a proud boyfriend. You wouldn't expect him to be a proud anything. But when you went to meet his family for the first time, you noticed some very familiar art hanging around the castle, as well as a rather large collection in his room.
"Wait!" You said, it suddenly striking you.
He raised a single eyebrow and gestured for you to continue. You gave him a sly grin.
"The paintings around here are very familiar," you giggled.
"I think you're seeing things, herbivore," he said lowly, but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained, right?
"No, see what I think is," you grinned, and stood as tall as you could, so that you were up in his face, "that a certain boyfriend of mine, keeps asking me to paint him stuff, and then he hangs it up in his room, and home for everyone to see."
He blinked, and then got his own grin on his face.
"So what if that's the truth? What if this boyfriend really wanted to show off how talented his girlfriend is? What would you do then?"
Aaaaaaaaand, now you were flustered. Good going Leona. He took advantage of your confusion and shock at him being so forthcoming, to quickly kiss the tip of your nose.
"Does my beautiful girlfriend think she can paint me some more pictures?" He said with mock sweetness, and you could only nod.
He'll pay you back with warm snuggles, and soft vibes, never you fear. Leona is a man of honor, who always repays a debt. Also, when you hand him your newest masterpiece, just be aware he is not purring, so don't even ask!

ok so i've been to a few places in europe but my fav so far is either innsbruck or prague - both of those cities have beautiful architecture and i loved learning about their history as well :D
