I just saw the other post you reblogged and my mind is imploding. You're right that this wave oddly coincides with the porn blog purge but i cannot for the life of me think of why it'd be connected i'm bamboozled

What if, in the future of gaming, characters can actually read off your gamertag/username/battletag as if it was your PC’s name?

I look forward to this hilarity when the first games introduce this feature.  People with random word generated gamertags (like on XBox) would have to listen to the character say “Hello, InfantShrimp95!  I have a quest for you!”

Battletags like ‘Toast’ or ‘Depression’ are hilarious too.  “HEY HANZOTITTY!”

I wonder how they’d handle names that use underscores? (Make them silent, I’d hope?)  Meanwhile, folks who used multiple Xs would get to hear ‘Ex-Ex SEPHIROTH 420 Ex-Ex’ or some silly nonsense.
