Sorry I've not posted in a while I've been dealing with quite abit I had a miscarriage it's really hard for me to even talk about it or even just think about what has happened it was a few months ago I'm still obviously saddened about this but something positive came out of it I got closer to God and well I've got more into history more for just something to distract myself from thinking about what has happened I've mainly been watching movies like the Tudors I relate to Anne Boleyn alot I was talking to someone and they basically told me that the miscarriage was my fault.

Dreaming about yanderes is cool and all but have any of you dreamt of yandere king henry vlll… chasing you through new york city while wearing a gown and heels?

He managed to restrict me one or twice and whenever he did it’s like I couldn’t breathe.

At first he seemed aggressive while professing his desire of me becoming his next wife as he chased me down the floors of an abandoned building which seemed endless. There were a few times where I managed to drip and he would try to launch himself on me with his arms and legs spread as a screamed in horror. I had to fight for my life against him as he screamed “let me explain!” and ofc the me in the dream wasn’t having it. I had to kick him with my heels and dig my nails into his thickly fabricated clothing.

My heart is trying to recover from the sight of him chasing me through endless stairs of an abandoned building, again all with heels that apparently I couldn’t maneuver.

Once I managed to get outside I booked for it and ran, screaming for help and that a man was trying to assault me but no one batted an eye.

Perhaps my time will come when Diluc will chase me 😭😭 I wonder what kind of yandere king henry the vlll would be?

at first i thought this might be one of those deals where the historic figure is actually a fate character or whatever, but he has no fate counterpart......................... so........... that just leaves me with..... this?

I don’t know anything about the US education system but since Archie and Lili have British titles even though they’re not working royals, they should go to British schools and learn about British history etc! Yes they’re American but it doesn’t seem right that their family are British royals and they aren’t being taught about things from that country. I’m British so I learnt about things like Henry Vlll, suffragettes and world war 1 and 2 etc.

American here -- we do learn about those topics in school though not to the extent that a British student does. As one would expect, we study American history so we do study WW1, WW2, the suffragettes, but through an American lens. Henry VIII, King John, Magna Carta, etc. is also in our history curriculum -- because the US was formerly a British colony, a lot of our early colonial history is tied to British history so we do study a bit of British history as it impacts the founding of the US and our parts in WW1 and WW2, but not a whole lot.

But at a minimum in terms of history, the way it's generally broken out is:

elementary/primary years (grades 1-5 or ages 6-10), you learn the basic fundamentals of American history (explorers, colonies, conflicts with Native Americans, founding fathers, manifest destiny, etc.).

middle school years (grades 6-8/ages 11-13), you do a bit of a deeper dive into American history, you learn civics, and you start learning world history.

high school (grades 9-12/ages 14-17), it's more world/western history (which covers some basic British history but still not anywhere close to the scale Brits do), another round of American history, and another round of civics/government.

And while it wasn't mentioned, I do want to give a shoutout to British literature. Our literature classes (we call them English classes here) also go into quite a bit of British history as well through the books that are read. A unit on Shakespeare or Dickens or Jane Austen/Bronte Sisters would also go into what was happening in Britain at the time to give context to the stories, characters, and settings.

The way the US education system works is that it's pretty fucked up. Between politics and the other thing American schools make international news for, it's been fucked up for a long time. I apologize for my French but there's really no other way to describe how messed up our education system is. Almost any American parent you speak to, we would all JUMP at the chance to send our kids anywhere else in the world for their education. That's why Meghan's choices to leave the UK and raise her children here in the US is so mindboggling to many of us (well, me and my friends). Yes, the US is her home and yes, she deserves the chance to raise her children the way she was but: why would you keep your children in a country where they may not ever come home from school one day when you have a better choice?

Anyway. I digress. From a politics standpoint, every president has their own program for the education system (No Child Left Behind for Bush, Common Core for Obama, School Vouchers for Trump) so the standards change every four years based on whoever gives the president the most money for their campaign to influence the education platform. Then on top of the national education program, all the states have their own education programs, which are also at the mercy of politics and lobbyists and those are changing often too based on whichever party runs the state legislature and whoever the most powerful education lobbyist is in that state, which 9 times out of 10 is probably someone with stakes in standardized testing or textbooks.

He divorced 2 wives one because she couldn’t have anymore children and the other because she mistook him for a pesent. Westminster Abbey

We stopped by Westminster on our walking tour of London. I chose it because of its breathtaking exterior. We were not able to explore the inside but standing in front and taking in the building was a treat! We all gathered around to get our pictures with the building which can only be expected with a building displaying such beauty.

Westminster is connected to the reformation through King Henry Vlll. Henry is known for breaking away from the Roman Catholic Church and establishing his own church, the Church of England, because the pope would not let him to divorce his wife.

There are many famous people buried or commemorated here like Charles Darwin. The church also houses the remains of Henry’s 4th wife and his children.

What stood out to me was the churches immense size. Up until that point we had visited many churches but none seemed to match Westminster. Gazing on its towering form I also noticed a golden clock imbedded into the front. I think it is interesting that only one clock was installed since it gives the face of the church a semi unsymmetrical look.

Keanu reeves is always trying to make fetch happen so they’re the Gretchen Weiners. And who could forget about Henry vlll? They couldn’t be more Karen Smith if they tried! With a brain like theirs, Garfield is clearly the Cady Heron of the group. And how could we forget about Edgar Allen poe? Edgar Allen poe is one of the greatest people you’ll ever meet and the Janis Ian of the group. Oh, and Ronald mcdonald is Damian! And they actually DO go here

I had a past life as Jane Seymour king Henry vllls wife it was nice Henry was quite lovely sometimes mainly when he just wanted sex he was quite good in the bedroom he liked to be aggressive during sexy time he was dominant and bossy he didn't cry that often but when Edward Henry's son was born he cried alot when he held him for the first time . Henry wasn't in the room when Jane was actually giving birth but he was in the room sometimes Henry was very worried when a few days past and the baby wasn't born yet when he was born his skin was very red and flaky looking henry was worried but still over the moon that Jane had a son

Day 23, Werewolf

Saturday night we watched the football game and played a game called Werewolf. It was so much fun!! Sunday, a beautiful rainy day, a listened to more documentaries on the Tudors until football. I thought Henry Vlll beheaded all his wives but only two, not that that’s cool, but still, it wasn’t all of them. The 1500’s were very interesting. I’m digging the history a lot.
