suga loves horror movies. and he loves horror of all kinds but he especially loves the campy stuff. like movies that are objectively kind of bad but there's also heart in it. you can tell the creators were passionate about it and loved what they were doing. he feels this way about bad movies in ALL genres but there's something special to him about "bad" low budget horror movies specifically.

and he loves finding these movies and forcing his friends to watch them with him. everyone is on high alert whenever suga recommends a movie for movie night because nine times out of ten it's going to be AWFUL. and he's going to rave about it for an hour after as if it's the best thing ever made.

bokuto noticing akaashi has a tiny little dot on his nostril and being all “hey hey hey akaashi what is that?? :D” and akaashi plainly telling him about the time he got his nose pierced in college but had to take the jewelry out when he was eventually required to intern with editorial and publishing companies, to which bokuto responds, entirely genuinely, “oh ok :D”…..anyways, they’re out with company one day, and bokuto sees someone with a funky nose ring. so, of course, he goes, “oh man akaashi! that would look so cool on you. can’t you put something back in??” and akaashi then perfectly embodies “🧍🏻”— because people generally Wonder about akaashi and his Obscure College Experience, a time in which he maintained minimal contact with the outside world under the ‘pretense’ of ‘intense study,’ and maybe maybe maybe he would’ve liked that all to remain obscure. but now the people, for better or for worse, have A Clue.
