Ok, so, i kinda discovered when PLA is.

•First: The clothing.

I found this image on google, and did some research based on that.

As you can see, the typing of clothing most similar to legends is that of the Edo Era (1603 - 1860)

The Edo Era, was a period of great artistic and cultural advancement, and also the time when the Merchant class started appearing.

This Era is most lnown for the great Economic Advancement, and Urbanization, with agriculture and other manual types of craftsmanship.

In PLA, we can see very well see the Ginkgo Build, aka, merchants, who sold various types of items to the people in the village, including food, and other stuff they found during their journey along the region.

Its also easy to see the beggining of the urbanization, especially in Jubilife Village, that took great influence on Galarian type architecure, but with a bit of Kanto, that resemble the types of communities on that period, such as the examples below:

These images are of Narai-Juku, a place known for the historical architecture of the Edo Era, and as you can see, it greatly resembles the Houses in Jubilife.

So, with that settled, lets move on to another region mentioned in the game: Galar.

You see, Galar is a region most based on England, that at the time, was still starting the Industrial Revolution

Looking at the central building of Jubilife, you can see that it has a lot of more advanced technology, that were beggining to appear during the time.

Considering all of this, I can safely assume that PLA takes place between 1760 and 1860.

Of course, this could be wrong, but at least this is my take on it.

Also, if I got any information wrong, or mixed up, i would be happy to be corrected! Since I love learning about history.

Anyways, this was longer than expected, and its probably hard to understand, since i suck at explaining stuff

i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
