I based the antagonist's group on the astrological zodiac signs. Also please note that I'm not well-versed in astrology so I based my understandings on research alone (；´∀｀)

I had loads of fun designing the two in their (alien) uniforms. I wanted to have a military feel to reflect that "2000s-2010s magical girl antagonist group" feel but with a more modern twist? They'll probably get new "magical boy" designs once they establish themselves as a part of Fortune's group.

Shoto will probably be the first one to switch considering he wants to cut off any ties he has with his father. Shinso meanwhile may take a bit more time since he has a lot of doubts and trust issues he's working through with Fortune and the gang.

Headcanon Time!

Shinso

Shinso's story is a perpetuating cycle of mistrust and isolation from his peers and himself. Working for the "cause" was the only thing he had left until a lone little human reached out her hand

He had a difficult time adjusting to the kindness he received. At first he was suspicious but that turned into self-doubt the more he spent time with Fortune and Midoriya

Aizawa mentored him: how to conceal his power, the customs of Earth, getting him enrolled in school (Fortune has no idea how he manged that), and most importantly how to relax

Students at Fortune's school think Shinso is the cool silent type. He's actually anxious 24/7. Midoriya has to teach this recluse what friendship is and why half the student body wants to talk to him

Shinso, unlike Aizawa, cannot hide the marks on his face naturally so Fortune covers it up with make-up. This goes on for a couple of weeks before Shinso learns how to do it himself out of embarrassment

Somehow got Bakugo's silent respect???

Can commonly be found in the vegetable garden behind the school chilling with the local strays

Shoto

Shoto, the absolute crackhead in this AU, basically pointed towards Shinso defecting and thought "hey I can do that too!! :O"

Shoto thought of Fortune, Bakugo, and Midoriya as friends even before he defected to Earth. His friendship checklist can be summed up as:

✅ We spend time together (Weekly invasions)

✅ We talk together (Villain monologues and a general questioning of wtf their goals are with the Earth)

✅ They piss off my father

He stole a school uniform and Fortune's pretty sure he never registered into the school??? Damn we getting a lot of foreign exchange students this year

He is the out-of-touch rich kid who is immediately ride-or-die with his new friend group and will not hesitate to throw down for the anime window seat™

Really into learning about human customs and passtimes (usually with Midoriya or Fortune). Ironically, Bakugo's aggressiveness is the one thing unintentionally saving him from turning into a weeb like Midoriya
