#i like to think the reason i feel so strongly about this is because i care and i wanted this to be good and i love fraction's writing
A little help.
I swear to you guys
I've been having meaningless thoughts lately
l have to write it down, even tho l requsted it to someone.
If you don't like anything from here or don't feel comfortable reading about it, please don't read.
Forewarning: It will definitely be smut, the reader is a single mom, breastfeeding, etc.
Summry: The reader is a single mother who is having trouble breastfeeding her baby, but Simon wants to make it easy for her and helps her with it.
After six years in the army, you suddenly had to take a break, and that break was probably because you were pregnant out of nowhere.
Well of course you knew exactly who the father of the child was, but after talking with him about the pregnancy, you once again realized that sleeping with him that night was the biggest mistake of your life.
It was not easy for you to leave the army, probably because you had many friends there, and not only that, but you also loved your job very much.
You already talked about the problem with your Captain, you wanted to tell others the reason why you had to leave, but somehow you were embarrassed ? It's as if you imagined yourself as that stupid girl you always said you won't be,
"How can I have fun with a man for one night and get pregnant."
You used to say always and the love of a idle man really dragged your life to end, as if, as they say, God was laughing at you.
You left Task Force 141 and left all your friends behind, and the most painful thing was to see those disappointed eyes through the skull masked merciless Lieutenant, who once valued you so much, but now thought you betrayed him.
The pregnancy was the most difficult for you, you had no one by your side, no one at all, went to the doctor alone, took care of yourself alone, you didn't have a man who would run to the end of the world for you in the middle of the night to find strawberries in the middle of winter.
But you were a strong woman, you survived the worst, and you knew that the day you found out the gender of your baby, you would go through anything for your little girl.
And that's what happened, you walked to the hospital alone because you spilled too much water and left the hospital in a five days with a small, healthy and beautiful girl in your arms.
When you hold little Vivienne in your arms first, you felt as if all the problems around you were gone, after that day everything seemed to be going better and better, you had enough money because of your old job, you had a house, and now you had a beautiful daughter.
You continued living with your daughter, waking up with her in the morning, feeding her, taking care of her, enjoying her and you didn't want anything else until one New Year's day, you heard a knock on the door of your house.
Your six-month-old girl, who was still wrapped in cute deer pajamas, you immediately took her in your arms because when you left her at such a time, she cried, that's why you immediately went to the door with your girl in your hands.
As you open the door, met those familiar cold eyes and skull mask.
The man fastly turned his blue eyes to you and then looked at the little girl, he looked a little surprised. "Did you start working as a nanny ?"
"What ?! Of course not, this is my daughter."
It was the only thing that came out of your mouth in protest and that surprised Simon even more.
"And when did you have time to have a baby ?"
Simon asked directly and didn't even think before you closed the door, he put his foot between the door and opened it strongly, he was strong then and still is.
"Listen, I don't have time for you, I have to feed Vivi."
You said and the man didn't even listen, he entered the house with his muddy boots and closed the door behind him.
In ten minutes, both of you were in the living room, you were still holding Vivienne, Simon sitting on the couch, was looking at you still, he didn't seem to know what to do, should he be angry with you ? Should he be happy or should he just reached for your waist and kissed you hard because of longing ?
"Tell me why you hid from me ? you know that I would understand you, for you I would be the Simon that I was not with anyone else."
The man looked at you and said, then looked at the little girl, and as if there was sadness somewhere in his words, which was the most unusual for a lieutenant you knew.
As if you didn't need much to open up, just a little push which Simon happend to do, you immediately sat next to Simon with the baby in your arms and told him everything that happened to you, everything what you went through without him.
"I didn't want to leave you, but I had no choice, I was ashamed to tell you about my pregnancy."
Those were your last words, and after that tears started to fall from your eyes, you couldn't hold them back.
The man laughed suddenly, his big scarred hands immediately went to your face and the man wiped the tears from your eyes.
"Damn, what a fool you are."
He said and gently grabbed your chin, then lifted your head up and you couldn't see through his mask but you were sure he was smiling.
Before it could turn into something more romantic, Vivienne suddenly burst into tears and that because she was hungry.
You immediately started to calm her down, while Simon's big hands now went towards your angel's small hands.
"It's amazing how small and innocent ."
The man muttered to himself, you hear it too, perhaps life was amazing, the hands of an man with lots of human blood on it and the hands of a little angel who has never felt anything other than her mother's breast.
"Listen, can l hold her in my hands ?" Simon seemed to have the courage and asked and you didn't even need a few minutes to think because Simon was the only guy you trusted with your little girl.
The man took the little child in his hands, the hands with which he mercilessly suffocated and chocked men, so gently, he was so careful that even you were surprised and smiled.
In a few seconds, Vivienne started to look at Simon's mask and even touched it with her little hands, In one part, I think she even wanted to drool over the mask, which made the man laugh.
"Soo is this your little troublemaker ?"
Simon said and looked at the little girl who was smiling, maybe if there was someone else in her place, she would have broken her hand for holding on to his mask, but Vivienne, like you, already had the right.
"I think I better feed her or she might really drool over your mask."
You smiled and said, looking back at Simon, who nodded and gently hand the baby to you.
You watched him for the next minute, hoping he would figure out what to do, but then, when he didn't understand anything, you tell him.
"I have to breastfeed her Simon, could you... ?"
Simon looked at you and then when he understood, he shook his head, realized that it wouldn't be entirely comfortable for you to be watched by him, so he turned away.
When you fed Vivienne, the girl's stomach was so full that she fell asleep in seconds and you immediately put her to bed.
Although you had problems because you always had more milk left, full breast.
When you put the little one to bed, you tiredly went out to the living room where Simon was still sitting on the couch waiting for you and sat next to him.
"Vivi will probably be asleep for a long time."
You sighed and continued talking, but you didn't realize that Simon was busy with something else, he was probably already dying to see your big tits naked, In his hands or his cock right between them.
"Simon, are you listening?"
You spoke and the man immediately looked down at your chest, seeing the leaked milk coming from your breasts on your T-shirt.
"Listen, I think you have a problem with your chest right there."
Simon said it as sarcastic as he used to be with you most of the time, while you immediately looked down at your chest.
"Damn it's leaking, I need a drainer."
You spoke and before you got up, the man immediately put his hand on your waist, gently pushed you back on your sit.
"Listen, I can help you."
The man said in all seriousness and you raised an eyebrow, immediately asking. "And How ?"
The man immediately put his arm around your waist and placed you on his laps, so that he was now looking directly at your breast.
"Shhh, don't ask questions, I know you want my help."
The man spoke and then lifted his mask just up his nose, slowly moved his hand under your T-shirt to your stomach, and soon your T-shirt was nowhere to be seen, so that now you were in a white bra only.
"Damn it, how I missed them."
The man spoke and placed his lips on your stomach and kissed it gently, then slowly moved up.
"Hmmm Simon a bit fast."
Upon hearing your complaint, the man immediately take off your bra and almost started drooling when he saw your breasts so full and round because of milk.
"What a good girl you are, damn it."
The man cupped both of your breasts with his big hands and then bent his head so that he kissed one and then the other.
Before you could say anything, the man pressed his lips to your breast at full speed and then sucked hard with his tongue around nipple, squeezing it with all his might, more milk started to leak.
The man this time took both your breasts firmly in his hands and squeezed one harder to make the milk come out, when he pulled his head out, he looked at you, who had both hands covering your mouth.
"Honey, this is the best milk I've ever tasted."

So if Amy isn’t in the film, who would give the humanity speech to shadow?
Hi Hon❤️✨
I’ve shared this thought before, but I’m more than happy to talk about it again. I definitely think—and strongly feel—that moment needs to go to Sonic. Not Amy Rose. Please understand that this is not a hate post towards the character. This post is meant to be a reflection of the characters that we know and how they would respond the best to an emotional situation.
The conversation that Amy Rose had with Shadow worked because we got to grow up with her. Through a progression of years, we’ve watched Amy Rose go from cheerleader to becoming her own hero. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing her love the world around her over time. We’ve seen her form relationships with people, we’ve seen her create a life for herself everywhere she goes, we’ve seen her tag along on adventures and prove her worth, and we’ve seen her experience the good and bad that come with life as both a heroine and a civilian. That’s why the moment worked so well in Sonic Adventure 2; we got to grow up with her throughout the games and experience life through her perspective. And because we got that perspective of her “growing up,” her conversation felt much more meaningful in order to trigger a locked memory in Shadow.
This moment wouldn’t work in the films. We wouldn’t have the same relationship that we’ve formed with Amy Rose in a 2hr+ movie as we did in a span of 30-odd years. It wouldn’t feel natural and heartfelt either. The moment would feel like a forced interaction that pays homage to the games. However, this interaction would work best with Sonic Wachowski because we are watching him grow up. We’ve seen how Sonic Wachowski handles the bad and the good in SCU through a progression of years.
This moment needs to come from Sonic. He will have the a level of compassion that Shadow would need in order to snap back into reality. Believe it or not, Sonic also has an understanding of what it’s like to be compared to as something dangerous. The whole point of Sonic remaining hidden for years (from both humans and other species) is because of his abilities. His power is controlled by emotion; when unchecked, it can be dangerous. But when controlled, he can master it. That needs to be a conversation with Shadow, considering he’s viewed as both a weapon and hope for humanity.
Sonic also has an understanding of what it’s like to lose someone that he loves because of him existing. It’s a guilt that resides in both of them where it feels like it’s their fault for the loss of a life. Granted, their experiences are different in how they both loss their loved ones. No one will understand that better, and relate to Shadow better, other than Sonic.
Sonic will have a better understanding of how humans function in the modern world. We’ve seen a healthy balance in how humans respond to extraterrestrials coming to earth. The humans have either welcomed them with open arms, acknowledge their existence and move on, or try and steal their power. Sonic knows the wide range of response; he can vouch on the behalf of those that are kindhearted.
As much as I love Amy Rose, I don’t believe that this moment should come from her. This moment needs to come from Sonic. And that’s okay. Don’t include her into the film to act as an Easter egg. Include her for the right reason. Give her a proper moment that outshines that one. I guarantee you that she is so much more than that. I hope that this answers your question, my dear.

Indeed, one might even say: it is a human value that the future ought not be "shaped by human values," in the peculiar sense of this phrase employed by the AI doomers.
This is clearly incorrect. I do not think there has ever, in the history of the human race, been a generation that did not overwhelmingly collectively believe that the future ought to be shaped by their values and not the values of their successors or children.
There is no more popular historical pastime than complaining about the poor morals of the young and how they are disturbing the good old traditions of proper conduct. Every generation says this. They say it with despair, because they know it will not happen - that they do not have the power to enshrine their values and prevent their descendants from fucking it up. But they value not changing; they value that very strongly.
If the LWsphere and the Bostom/Yudkowsky argument is in any way unusual, it is because it is much more liberal than any society (the current one included) has ever collectively been, and therefore talks very seriously about how we must not enshrine our current conception of value, but must figure out how to extrapolate how it would change, despite the universal appeal of enshrining our current values - that even if it was us, living forever, our values would not stay the same.
Figuring out that seems even harder than making an AGI, and giving an AGI any chosen values at all rather than something uncontrolled and randomly chosen from some unknown space looks hard enough, that the question of what, given the choice, we should tell one to value, has mostly stopped being dwelt on since CEV was judged unsatisfactory. That doesn't mean no one cares, it means they have more urgent problems.
I mean, I get it. I sort of agree with this. I do feel like I'm maybe being overly idealistic w/r/t "human values," or projecting my own unusually high-openness (?) values onto humanity as a whole.
Maybe, but then, maybe not.
I think there is at least one comparably popular historical pastime: making this exact observation, often in a tone of lament or rebuke.
That is, the reason you are here saying this is a "popular historical pastime" is not that you have yourself conducted a survey of generational conflict in numerous historical eras, and have made note of this constant. I mean, maybe you have, but if so you didn't need to. The reason you're saying this is that it's a thing people always say, and (probably) have always said.
It is true that you can go back even to the ancient world and find old people grouching about how the young have lost their morals. But you can also find people from a very long time ago complaining about how every single generation does this.
It is not as though there were some period of 10000+ years in which the old grouched about the young, and the young went on to grouch about the next crop of kids when they got old, but no one ever noticed the pattern -- and then there is some very recent, very brief "modern" period where people woke up and said "wait, we keep doing thing." People have always noticed.
There have always been grandparents, ready to tell you how wild and lost your parents were when they were young, and how much they despaired for the world, seeing it. And, ever since the human or proto-human mind became capable of noting the irony and oddity here, we have in fact been noting it.
Likewise, there have always been at least some grandparents capable of noticing that they now have grandkids, and they seem all right. That society is somehow still running pretty well, despite all their fears -- and even though things really are kind of different, now. Ever since the grandparent or proto-grandparent mind became capable of noting the apparent implication, grandparents have in fact been noting it, and moving closer to being at peace with posterity.
Not all grantparents, not all of the time. Obviously not! The exceptions are all too familiar. But we are too smart as a species to just not notice this kind of stuff, ever, period.
Yes, the elderly tend to complain about the young, but in their best moments they can concede points to the young, too, where points are due.
The cartoon images we draw of the elderly, fixed in their ways and hardened irrevocably against a changed world, have a strong basis in real fact. But we are too smart (among other things), as a species, for any one of us be merely such a cartoon figure, and nothing else, and nothing more.
Maybe I'm being too sentimental, or too idealistic, or too modern, or something. But that's what I think, anyway.

Have you ever felt guilty about being polyamourous despite knowing deep down there's nothing wrong with it, but you're overthinking everything??
getting a little personal here
I've been struggling a lot with it lately, being attracted to another person while currently dating someone, knowing it's okay and its an open relationship, and it's just been spiraling so much in my brain as guilt for no reason i hope I'm not alone in that
of course, though mostly when I was in monogamous relationships, if I'm being honest. I still get twinges on occasion, butbone of my greater strengths is stopping my brain from spiraling into self-loathing. So. Not a huge problems from me. I do have tips though! Some from recognizing what I do and some from various readings. There's not an order, some of them are incompatible with each other, try a couple and see what works
Affirmations to help you internalize things like "I believe in this as a right for all people, and that has to include myself"
Reframings. So when you catch yourself going "waah! My pArTnEr WiLl fEeL bAd!" You can maybe be like "my partner is my equal. If I hold myself to a ✌ higher ✌ standard than them, I am treating them as an inferior, which is unfair, and will make them feel bad" or you know. Whatever. Frame Polyamory As A Good Thing So That It Can Be One, basically. What does your partner GAIN from polyamory? How is your life BETTER from polyamory?
Politely detach from the spiral. You're not stopping it, necessarily, but it's not you. It's that toddler that lives in your brain having a temper tantrum, and you're the favorite babysitter standing non-judgementally to the side, waiting it out, and saying "wow, that was a lot. Are you okay? Do you think that's all true? Do you think that's all fair? Do you think a juice box or a nap would help you feel better?" once the waterworks have ended.
Check in regularly with your partner, and trust them. Make a space for them to say something they appreciate and soemthing you could have done differently, take them at their word, and use those words later. I have literally gritted my teeth at myself like like "she SAID the only thing I should do different is text her when I'm coming home. Am I calling her a LIAR? Is that what I've come to?"
Literally say when you're being dumb. "Well. I guess that could be true, in a hell world where Nixon Jr is president and we're all idiots, but I don't think that's the world I'm living in so it really doesn't apply here" and drop it
thank our feelings. You feel strongly about it because you want to do right by your partner! That's good! Thank it for trying to make sure you do that, and explain to your guilt that you have things under control, in so many words. "Thank you, guilt, for trying to make sure I don't betray [partner]'s trust, but they know about it and said it's okay, so you can take a day off"
All very effective. I encourage anyone else who has experience with this to weigh in

Hi! I hope you don't mind the sudden question, but i got really into Milgram recently and was wondering: What reasoning did people give when they voted Haruka guilty in the second trial? Like, generally speaking, what did the consensus seem to be?
Haruka is a character i strongly relate to, so i have a lot of Thoughts about him.
Firstly: Wow the start of the second trial was that long ago, huh 😅
Secondly: I need to explain that Haruka's trial was a bit different than most
Not sure how recently you joined but in a normal trial, the MV will upload the same day a CD releases, and stuff like the instrumental, DECO covers and most importantly the voice drama will be officially uploaded at the same time
But for Haruka, due to some unspecified CD issue, we were getting the MV as planned then wouldn't get the voice drama for another two weeks
This will be very important to his voting
Thirdly: Going into his trial, things were uncertain, a lot of people really liked Haruka and were very worried for him due to his new relationship with Muu. Whom many saw as a potential bad influence or threat.
I won't get into it too much, but before this trial it was definitely more common to have a.... soft image of Haruka as a harmless little guy who had gone through a lot, who just made some mistakes because he didn't know any better
Its worth remembering that without the context of AKAA, Weakness is a very dream-like MV and not many were sure which parts were real or imagined
One of the biggest debates about weakness was about if the blue haired child was a younger bother or Haruka himself
It all seems quite quaint from here
Some people thought Haruka might not have even killed a person, just animals, I was even considering a theory suggesting Haruka was in milgram for his own suicide (in the words of Danganronpa 'killing the person who is most important to you: Yourself')
The girl with the plait wasn't thought about much as other than a possible childhood friend due to her being shown running next to young Haruka.
Fourth: The premiere of AKAA was super emotional and intense, it was a beautiful MV
But like Purge March later, it would contextualise parts of Weakness we didn't expect it to
Mainly the animal murder and the girl's death.
But without the voice drama, many were unsure what verdict would be best for Haruka
Despite the failure of T1 Amane, many still thought we could fix the prisoners through voting right
Some people saw this vote as a chance to get Haruka to break up with Muu if we played our cards right
Overall people were confused and conflicted and couldn't wait for the voice drama to come out
I think the best summary of feelings is a comment from the top of the AKAA comments section
This was posted right after AKAA came out and reflected a common mood
This part of his voting period was very strange. Because of the uncertainty, people were pretty split
People didn't think he deserved an innocent verdict, but they didn't want to punish him so harshly with a guilty one either
And it turned into an interesting situation: What happens if a prisoner gets exactly 50%?
It was an unlikely truce between two passionate sides
but for about 2 weeks straight, 50-50 was sustained
Or more accurately, it was a constant flux of 49.9-50.1, changing by the hour if not minute (I actually dreamt up a fic of this causing Haruka to get a migraine but like most of my fics it never materialised)
Then the voice drama released
At the time I was the mod of the second biggest milgram server (rip Fancult - unfortunately that place got nuked so I'll have to go off memories alone) so I got to watch as a lot of people gathered and listened to the VD at the same time
We were still waiting on translations, but still people could appreciate the acting and pick out key words like the prisoners' names and... other common phrases
お母さん, "Okaasan" The Japanese word for 'mother' or 'mum'
By the time we got to here it was Harukover 😔
Then a second Okaasan hit the verdict
And this giant mess ended with the suicide threat that's been haunting us for the rest of the season...
Needless to say, people were not too pleased
The 50-50 pipe dream was immediately shot down and betrayed
This graph (by paiplushie on twt) shows it pretty clearly
One thing to keep in mind is that even before Muu's MV was out, people were certain she'd be voted guilty, there was a fervour for it (mostly because people saw her as having taken advantage of Haruka and having the wrong attitude towards her verdict)
For some reason, voting Muu innocent was never really considered an option
It was 'Haruka threatened to kill himself if we vote Muu guilty, how do we stop him doing that after we do'
[personally I voted him innocent because I had a pipe dream that if both Haruka and Muu were inno then they'd be obnoxious about it but unharmed]
People justified voting guilty in different ways, some thought it'd make him break up with Muu and not want to die for her, some just didn't want to enable his action (threatening suicide is awfully manipulative) and some people genuinely believed that physical restraint was the most effective way to prevent him from attempting suicide... which all I'll say is I disagree with that logic
But yeah, once the VD was out it never really showed any signs of returning to inno

Some replies! Mostly about weird dicks and ehh having kids I guess…
characharing asked:
''Is Ruggie's grandma packing?'' OF COURSE SHE IS, ANON, GILF RIGHTS
Yesss!! POWERFUL GRANDMAS OF TWST!!
Anonymous asked:
Somtimes i feel like when I leave this blog for a few days, idia gains like, 270 new kinks
Exactly, now imagine how Idia feels. Every new day should feel like a holiday, but he sure is struggling lol
Anonymous asked:
Yesss, Riddle gets to savor all the exotic dicks whether he likes it or not as the Queen intended. Wonder which one he'll like the most? I feel like Deuce might also join in but probably by accident
I am a romantic at heart, so I would assume that Riddle’s favourite one would be the long, supple and slippery eel one. It just sounds right. 😌 It’s also probably the most unpredictable because it moves, and Riddle hates unpredictability, so we get a perfect match.
Deuce would definitely join in by accident, and he would probably feel kind of guilty for enjoying the exotic dick so much… maybe because of how much adrenalin and panic he felt when he experienced knotting for the first time, but his body reacts very strongly to Jack now. And experiencing one of the tweels would feel so weird that it would actually fry his brain for a couple of hours…
Che’nya should visit NRC more often. For no reason in particular, he just should.
Anonymous asked:
On the topic of parents, I was asking myself who would be the most likely to raise a kid together in canon in the future, and I think that if Kalim has kids he will definitely rope in Jamil, no matter the kind of relationship they have. His life would be even more at risk as the head of the Asim, so I can imagine he would try to get someone he can trust to become the legal guardian of his child/children in case something happens to him, and we all know that there is no one he trusts as much as Jamil. "And when I'll die you'll take care of them" "When!?". I don't know, it's just kind of funny to think about how even without Kalim, Jamil would still be stuck with the kalimlings (who probably don't even get along with da-, I mean, uncle Jamil)
Oh there is absolutely no chance for Jamil to get away from nurturing another Kalim, even if the first Kalim hires 10 nannies for the kid. For the sake of protection too.
“When I’ll die” lol so ready to kick the bucket and leave Jamil with kalimlings…what a word 😭 Jamil’s entire life is Kalim. Even if Kalim is gone, Kalim is still there. Maybe Kalim will do what his father did and leave 30+ kalimlings behind just so uncle Jamil doesn’t get lonely.
Anonymous asked:
out of the twst cast, who do you think would selfishly ~baby trap~ their partner? like tbh i don’t see floyd as the type, if anything a baby would make him fuck off lol
Yeah, a baby would absolutely make Floyd fuck off lol Which is ironic, because while I don’t see Riddle as someone who would necessarily do it, he gets pretty unexpectedly unhinged sometimes… I don’t see it, but I don’t not see it if that makes sense. It wouldn’t be a premeditated decision; it’s more like a crime of passion. If he manages to make a baby with magic somehow… the chances are super low, but considering how unstable Floyd can make him, never zero lol
To answer your question properly, I can’t think of many options to be honest, but two characters who came to mind first would be Malleus and Azul. My reasoning for Malleus: lay an egg => demand attention.
And Azul would do anything to tie a person to himself if he needs to; a baby would bring a lot of unnecessary expenses, but if nothing else works, putting a bunch of eggs inside his lover’s body is always an option. Wow, both of them are egg related…
We are talking about the boys here, but I feel like even if Azul was a lady, he wouldn’t want to get pregnant herself. The world would hear the most menacing “I’ve already paid the surrogate, Idia-san” ever.
Ortho could do it in a yandere scenario, I think. Sebek and Kalim are also suuuuper not likely, but somehow more likely than the rest of the boys.

javier realizing how much he cares for lloyd, how deep his loyalty to him runs, how ready he's to lie down his life for him, not because he's the son of his lord, not even really knowing exactly why he feels like that but just being absolutely certain that lloyd is his friend and he can't allow anything to harm him
And yet, why am I trying so hard to protect him?
He had no way of knowing. But one thing was clear. It was a very simple matter.
I want to protect him. Lloyd is my true master in my heart.
Lloyd was his friend. And now, Javier wanted to protect Lloyd. He would sincerely protect him with everything he had.
he doesn't even know why!! he just knows that lloyd is his friend and his true master in his heart and that's!! more than enough for him to decide he's willing to put his life and everything he has in the line to protect him!! i'm just!!

i just saw someone say that "the vast majority of the userbase is complaining" about tumblr's recent layout change. i see this a lot after a change: people complaining about it (sometimes without saying what about it is bad, making it sound like either it's self-evident (it usually is not) or just that it's bad because it's change and change is always bad) and saying that everyone else is complaining about it too. i don't know how to tell you this but a) you don't follow every user on tumblr so how can you possibly know what "everyone" or "the majority of users" thinks about anything and b) ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO FEEL VERY STRONGLY ARE TALKING ABOUT IT!! people who are not bothered are not spending time posting about how unbothered they are! please look up "selection bias" and stop making me read this nonsense with my own eyeballs.

“Heewon-ah, what’s the matter—” she barely has the time to say before falling silent. Jung Heewon looks like a mess. Her eyes are bloodshot, her hair windswept, and she is trembling. She is wearing no jacket despite the rain outside.
Instead, she is wearing clothes fit for combat. On her hip hangs a familiar sword. Han Sooyoung would recognize it anywhere. Her pupils tremble as she raises her eyes to meet Jung Heewon’s gaze. It’s pale blue, the color of the sky in summer.
“Sooyoung,” Jung Heewon whispers, and Han Sooyoung can’t help but stare. Are those tears welling in her eyes. “My Sooyoung.”
“I,” she tries to say, because she knows that voice, she knows that tone, and the next thing she knows is Jung Heewon lifting her up in her arms, wrapping her in an embrace so tight it makes her ribs wail. If she was a regular mortal without her constellation status she probably would have broken a bone or few.
“I found you,” Jung Heewon, her Jung Heewon sobs, “I finally found you.”
(excerpt from saying goodbye is death with a thousand cuts by Karelyon)
(I’m fine I’m fine I’m totally fine I’m absolutely completely sane about them okay)
anyways this is all to say HAPPY HUGTOBER 2022!! you’ll be seeing a little bit more of me this month before I disappear into the ether again for unspecified bursts of time
and that is all to say that if thinking about how 1863!hsy left that regression without saying goodbye to her crew, only to march toward her certain demise for the sake of one person not dissimilar to someone else we know makes you go insane and also like a femslash twist to things can I heartily recommend the above fic
(just the lineart below the cut, because I like it a lot and also the rest will probably be colorless)
[ID: a lineart-only piece of fanart depicting Han Sooyoung and Jung Heewon from the webnovel Omniscient Reader by Sing-Shong. Jung Heewon lifts Han Sooyoung in a tight embrace, leaning back slightly as she wraps her arms around Han Sooyoung’s back, who is hugging her back with her arms around Jung Heewon’s neck and her legs crossed behind her hips. Both of them smile tearfully, closing their eyes as they cling to each other.]

British publishers seem to have a strange habit of classifying nineteenth century French novels as children’s books (a nebulous category I know- children are often more than capable of reading so-called ‘adult’ books but I find it odd nonetheless).
Jules Verne is the first one that springs to mind, but the one that always confuses me is ‘The Three Musketeers’. Yes it’s got all the swashbuckling ingredients that make up a good boys’ own story, but I’m really not sure that it’s strictly a ‘children’s’ classic.
This brought to you by the fact that I’m trying to sort all my other Dumas books into order when I realised that the ‘Three Musketeers’ wasn’t among them, even though it’s part of a wider ‘series’, the other books of which are in my ‘adult’ books. But because my copy of ‘The Three Musketeers’ was part of a set of ‘children’s classics’, it’s languishing in a box somewhere, alongside The Railway Children and the Secret Garden (great books both, but very different in tone I think). I don’t want to break that set up but I also don’t see why the story of Milady de Winter is more child appropriate than the Count of Monte Cristo.

I also think that maybe my idea of repression is a bit different than what sometimes gets presented as repressed because it's like. Repression refers to the process of holding back or ignoring things but what those things are varies wildly from person to person. For some people, if you got rid of the repression, there's a fun-loving, sensory stimulation seeking person underneath. But I think that a lot of times, what we repress has to do with what the people around us expect. sometimes what's under there is a really deep frustration, or a list of ways that the world is overwhelming and exhausting, or the realization that you've been seeking out experiences not because you want them but because they were a compromise between what you actually wanted and what you thought you could get. Anyway this post is basically the lead-up to saying that if harrow was less repressed, she probably wouldn't have metaphorically fucked ianthe in the first place. the fact that harrow isn't in touch with her feelings in htn is a big part of the reason the bone arm sex even happened

I'm probably in the minority on this one but given how sharing of superheroes mantles by multiple characters is so common in comics, and has been for ages, I don't really see the huge problem in both Damian and Tim currently being Robin. (E.g. Cassie and Yara are both currently Wonder Girl and no one seems to have a problem with that?) Especially since they work fairly independently of each other, have completely different costumes and styles, and so on.
Personally, I like the idea of them learning to share lol.
