I’m not usually a fan of sick Whump, but when Whumpee is running such a high fever that they’re shaking, taking uneven, shallow breaths, their skin chafing and burning against their clothes.
The moment Caretaker lays a palm on their forehead to check their fever and Whumpee sighs with relief because it’s so blessedly cold.
The moment Whumper cups Whumpee’s cheek with one hand and turns their head slightly, and Whumpee hates themself for leaning into it, but they just want the burning to stop.

so. my laptop is Deceased, which means I don’t have half of my pdf library (because I wasn’t able to back it all up yet. weeping and wailing), and THAT means that I have a much smaller pool of texts to work off with and cite, so. this is a much more direct glimpse into my thoughts when I’m reading ancient sources and don’t have the poetry of scholars to direct my imagination
anyway, the tris homines alliance is also an informal club for people that had weird but formative relationships with sulla. like. a real Make Them Worse situation happened there. crassus becomes someone who is half shadowy rumor behind every dealing in the eyes of others, pompey and caesar drag rome back into civil war, sulla says that caesar resembles marius but it’s sulla’s playbook that caesar later runs. everyone dies in places where they do not expect to die.
Plutarch, Caesar
Plutarch, Pompey
Plutarch, Crassus
Rome, Blood & Power, Gareth C Sampson

y/n has always assumed Wanda read their mind because she’s so damn good in bed, but when you bring it up she’s incredibly hurt that you thought she would invade your mind. ever.
after explanation and many compliments, y/n suggests she should… why not?
Wanda is super shy and nervous about it at first, but after eliciting such alluring sounds from y/n, she can’t help how far it goes…

So I am —uhh writing a dreamling gothic romance AU comic???
I have most of it plot out and im currently trying to script and storyboard some of it!! ( already got 3 pages from the first part of act 1 almost done!).
I got to say this was very unexpected but the muses seem to be in agreement that this is what I should dedicate my free time with so guess this is something that’s been done and that you’ll see in this blog! Not sure how soon or not since this will be done in my spare time tho.
Anyway this was inspired mostly by @dreamlingnation little house of horror event and I hope I get to share some of what I’m doing with you all soon 🖤
In the meantime here’s a confused Hob panel from my sketched storyboard

And the experience of each man was peculiar. For Pompey's name and power were greater in the city when he was away from it, owing to his campaigns; but when he was at home, he was often less powerful than Crassus, because the pomp and circumstance of his life led him to shun crowds, retire from the forum, and render aid to a few only of those who asked it of him, and then with no great zest, that he might keep his influence the more unimpaired for use in his own behalf. But Crassus was continually ready with his services, was ever at hand and easy of access, and always took an active part in the enterprises of the hour.
Plutarch, Crassus
from the vault of half finished one shots and rejected scenes! what a pair of guys! some real complementary personality stuff going on with these two!

Still wondering how people can look through a comic and pull out the most philosophical messages and build complex theories and stories off of them.
Like I can do that too but I’ve never been nearly that complexed and I just GRRRRRRRR
I want your brain
This is directed at someone you know who you are/pos
(This is not a threat this is in a loving and “I’m very in awe of you” way I swear)

it kind of bothers me that witcher fans don’t really unite under sapkowski’s name like other fans of fantasy authors do (e.g. “tolkien fans”).
in practically any other fandom of fantasy books, save for the particularly rancid authors known for their disappointing and shameful behavior or views (e.g. jk r*wling), it’s just regular business to say the author’s name. but sapkowski’s name is treated like a dirty word in the witcher fandom, for really no good reason…
it must be asked — what is stopping us from doing so?! why don’t we call ourselves sapkowski fans. it would be much easier than saying “i’m a fan of the witcher, but only the books, i don’t consider the various adaptations canon, etc. etc.” … “half a hundred words, when three are enough!!”
